Natalya locks AJ in a submission but she fights out. AJ counters a move and goes for a roll up but Natalya stomps on her. Natalya spanks AJ as Kaitlyn looks on. Natalya grabs AJ’s face and talks trash before slamming her face into the mat. Natalya continues the assault. AJ comes back with an elbow but misses a springboard kick. AJ counters a slam and lays Natalya out. AJ goes up top for a moonsault and nails it for the win.

Raw has been officially changed to Nitro after Eric Bishoff took control of the WWE. So Nitro’s first show tonight will feature the epic rematch between the Rock and Brock Lesnar with John Cena as the special guest referee. Plus, WWE Champion the Miz is defending the WWE Title against the crowd’s favourite superstar Zack Ryder. Raw kicks off with a huge surprise. Sheamus’ theme song hits and the Celtic-Warrior comes out to a big ovation from the crowd. Sheamus walks down the ring smiling as the fans cheer. Sheamus says that he is back for good and he is never leaving again.. He says that he is back to make things right and he is back on Raw because this is his home. Sheamus acknowledges that tonight’s big main event is Brock Lesnar vs the Rock and he says that he is glad that those two are back because he always wanted to face Rock and the next big thing Brock Lesnar. He says he respects the hell out of the Rock but he is rooting for Lesnar tonight. He says that he doesn’t like Miz being the WWE Champion because he is boring as hell. He says Miz has only one stupid catch-phrase and limited skills. He is hoping that Miz will lose the WWE title tonight to Zack Ryder. Sheamus is interrupted by Drew McIntyre. McIntyre says that nobody cares about the return of Sheamus, everyone cares about the return of Drew McIntyre. McIntyre says that he and Sheamus could have made a great tag team. He says that he hates America just like he knows that Sheamus does. He says that the American people are making fun of Ireland just as they make fun of Scotland. Sheamus says that Ireland is different than Scotland. When someone is picking on an Irish man they get an ass-kick. The Scottish guys though are whining and complaining instead of fighting. McIntyre says he isn’t afraid to fight. Sheamus then challenges him into a match and McIntyre accepts. McIntyre goes to attack Sheamus but Sheamus fights back. Sheamus goes for the Brogue Kick but McIntyre avoids it and leaves the ring.

Backstage Josh Matthews interviews Edge. Edge says that he is 100% ready to compete after taking some time off. He says that Alberto Del Rio almost cost him his career for the 2nd time and that’s why he speared Del Rio last night at the Survivor Series. He says that he has plans for Del Rio but tonight he will get his pay-back on Mark Henry because he hasn’t forgot what Henry did to him at Vengeance. He says that tonight he will get his Vengeance by beating the World’s Strongest Man.

Back in the ring, a local wrestler named John Kid is waiting for the arrival of Alberto Del Rio. Alberto Del Rio comes out in his classic Rolls Roys.

They lock up and Del Rio with a slap to the head followed by kicks to the leg. Del Rio with more kicks in the corner. Del Rio with a short arm clothesline and then he hits a German suplex. Del Rio with a reverse chin lock. Kid with elbows but Del Rio with a forearm. Del Rio with an Irish whip but he misses a charge into the corner and Kid with forearms but Del Rio puts Kid on the top rope and then he pushes him to the floor. Del Rio sends Kid back into the ring and he hits the Cross Arm Breaker and Kid taps out at 2:31.

Winner: Alberto Del Rio!

After the match, Del Rio locks in the arm-bar again. Edge comes out and Del Rio breaks the hold and slides out of the ring to avoid Edge. Mark Henry’s theme hits and the World’s Strongest Man makes his way down to the ring.

Alberto Del Rio takes a seat outside of the ring. The bell rings and here we go. Edge connects with a nice dropkick and stomps away on Henry. Edge goes for a big knee drop and Henry moves. Henry hits some head-butts and drops Edge on the turnbuckles. Henry hits Edge with right hands and knocks him out to the floor. Henry brings it back in the ring and continues the assault. Henry with a big power-slam for 2. Henry misses a sit-down splash and Edge goes to work. Orton with a big shoulder-block off the top rope. Edge nails Henry with a big DDT. Edge waits for the Spear but Alberto Del Rio rushes the ring. Edge sends him back out and Henry goes for the World's Strongest Slam but Edge counters with a neck-breaker. Edge goes for the Spear again but Del Rio gets in the ring again and attacks Edge.

Winner by DQ: Edge!

Del Rio continues with the assault on Edge but Edge fights back. Edge sends Del Rio into Mark Henry who drops him down with a clothesline. Edge with a drop-kick on Henry to send him out of the ring. Edge hits the Spear on Del Rio. Edge grabs a microphone and tells Del Rio that next week they will face each other one on one in a No Holds Barred match.

Backstage, Sheamus is seen shaking hands with John Cena.

We see footage from earlier tonight before Nitro started where Chris Jericho arrived with Zack Ryder’s Internet title. Jericho says he will put this pathetic title right where it belongs. He tosses the Internet Championship in a trash can. Zack Ryder attacks Jericho but he gets jumped from behind by The Miz. Miz and Jericho laugh at Ryder before sending into the trash can where the Internet title is.

Matt Stryker interviews Zack Ryder. Ryder says that tonight he will beat the Miz to become the new WWE Champion and then he will go after Chris Jericho and get revenge for what Jericho did to his Internet title. Ryder says that the Internet title is important to him and Jericho will get what’s coming to him for not showing respect, Woo Woo you know it.

RED wrote:: Back live, the US Champion Wade Barrett is in the ring saying that there is no competition for him on Raw. He says that he will be the US Champion even if John Laurinaitis isn’t here anymore. Kofi Kingston comes out and challenges Barrett for the US title. Barrett makes fun of Kingston’s latest adventures as he saw Kingston competing in a match with women on Survivor Series. Kingston says that at least he won unlike Barrett that was the first member of his team to get eliminated. Barrett says he is going to teach Kofi a lesson so he accepts his challenge. A referee comes out and the title match is on.

US Championship – Wade Barrett vs Kofi Kingston

They lock up and Barrett backs Kofi into the corner. Kofi with kicks and then he tries for a crucifix but turns it into a sunset flip. Kofi with a drop kick for a near fall. Wade with a kick and he tries to Irish whip Kofi but Kingston does a cartwheel followed by a running forearm for a near fall. Kofi with a kick to Wade in the corner. Wade with an Irish whip but he runs into boots from Kofi. Kofi goes to the turnbuckles but he has his back to Wade and Wade kicks Kofi in the leg. Wade stretches Kofi in the ropes and then Wade with a running boot that sends Kofi to the floor. Barrett goes to the floor and he runs Kofi’s back into the apron. Barrett sends Kofi back into the ring. Kofi with punches and forearms to Wade. Barrett with a Bossman Slam for a near fall. Wade with a knee to the back and then he stretches Kofi again. Wade with a forearm to the back followed by a slam. Barrett goes to the turnbuckles but he misses an elbow drop when Kofi rolls out of the way. Wade misses a boot and Kofi with chops and a drop kick. Kofi misses the Superman punch and Barrett with a kick and he tries for a pump handle slam but Kofi gets to his feet. Kofi goes into the corner and Barrett charges into a pendulum kick from Kingston. Kofi goes up top for a cross body and he gets a near fall. Kofi with a kick and then he gets set up for the Boom drop and hits it. Kofi gets ready for Trouble in Paradise, but Barrett counters and nails Kingston with a pump handle slam. Barrett goes for the cover and Kofi kicks out at two. Kingston with the SOS out of nowhere and Barrett kicks out at 2. Kingston hits the Trouble in Paradise out of nowhere and pins Barrett to capture the US Championship at 7:35.

After the match, Kingston gets the US Title and celebrates in the ring as we see highlights of the match leading to the finish.

Backstage Beth Phoenix attacks Trish Stratus from behind. Beth nails Trish with the Divas title and calls her a few things that are not PG like.

We see Brock Lesnar getting ready for his big match against the Rock tonight.

Triple H comes out dressed in street fight clothes. The Big Show comes out to a big reaction from the crowd. Show has a stare-down with HHH as this match will be a Street Fight.

Street Fight match - Big Show vs Triple H

HHH has a sledgehammer hidden behind his back. He rams it into Show’s knee. HHH with a sledgehammer shot to the head of the Big Show. As Show is down HHH drops the sledgehammer into the back of the head. Show looks to be out. HHH gets a steel chair and he nails it into the back of Big Show multiple times. HHH hits the Pedigree on Show on the top of the chair and hooks the leg to get the pin-fall at 3:04.

Winner: Triple H!
After the match ETM’s come out for Show. HHH heads up to the ramp smiling.

We see The Rock backstage getting ready for his main event match tonight.

Chris Jericho comes out and cuts a promo insulting the fans telling them that they are responsible for Zack Ryder and John Cena being so famous in the WWE. He says that tonight CM Punk will realize that he is not the best in the world, Chris Jericho is. CM Punk comes out and makes fun of Jericho’s hair. He says that Jericho is nothing but a loser right now and he will never be the WWE Champion again. He says that Jericho is boring. The two superstar go back and fourth with the insults until a referee gets in the ring and calls for the bell.

#1 Contender for the WWE Championship – CM Punk vs Chris Jericho

The two locked horns and Jericho tossed Punk to the mat. Jericho slapped on a headlock that Punk tried to power out of, but Jericho hit a take over and brought the hold to the mat. Punk countered with a head scissors and once Jericho wiggled his head out, Punk grabbed him and yanked him to a headlock of his own. Punk was shot off the ropes and hit a kick to Jericho's face before hitting a knee lift for a one count. Punk snap marred Jericho and hit a drop kick to the back of his head for another one count. Jericho kicked out and hit a punch to the face before whipping Punk and hitting a follow up clothesline. Jericho kept up the pressure with a big vertical suplex for a one count. Punk countered another Jericho whip attempt and was able to hit a cross body for a one count. Punk connected with a vicious kick to the head that legit hurt Jericho.

RED wrote:: Back from the break and Jericho is hitting a bunch of kicks before slapping on a half nelson. Punk again fought out with some elbows before Jericho planted a knee lift to the gut of Punk. Jericho hit a kick to the back and the two fought up to the top turnbuckles. Punk shoved Jericho to the mat before hitting a cross body for a two count. Punk hit a big round house right before whipping Jericho to the ropes and hitting a wheel kick. Jericho got whipped to the corner but came charging out only to get hit with a running power slam. Jericho wiggled out of a suplex attempt and hit his running bulldog before going for a lion sault. Punk caught Jericho on the ropes only for Punk to catch him on the ropes and go for a GTS. Jericho countered out, rolled through and snagged the walls of Jericho in the middle of the ring. Punk tried to wiggle through the hold bug got dragged back to the middle. After teasing two more spots, Punk powered out only for Jericho to go for it again. Jericho charged him only for Punk to totally kill him with a knee to the face. Punk went for a cover but Jericho kicked out. Punk hit some Muay Thai knees and a high knee in the corner followed by a bulldog but Jericho counters pushing Punk to the corner. Punk turned around a nailed Jericho with another huge kick to the head. Punk went for his spring board lariat, came off the ropes only for Jericho to catch him in mid-air with the Code-Breaker. Jericho with the hook of the leg but Punk kicks out at 2 and a half. Jericho goes for the Lionsault but Punk rolls out of the way and Jericho crushes and burns. Punk locks in the Anaconda Vice. Suddenly, Alex Riley comes out into the ring apron to distract the referee while Jericho starts tapping. Punk breaks the vice and pulls Riley over the ropes inside the ring. Punk nails the GTS on Riley. Jericho comes from behind with a chop to the knee. Jericho goes for the walls again but Punk rolls out of it and rolls up Jericho for the pin-fall at 15:23.

Winner: CM Punk!

CM Punk is the #1 contender for the WWE Title. Before Punk can celebrate Chris Jericho jumps him from behind. Zack Ryder comes out and nails Jericho with the Rough Ryder before tossing him out of the ring. Ryder and Punk celebrate in the ring.

Backstage Kofi Kingston walks around with his newly won US Championship. Trish Stratus walks up and congratulates Kingston. Kingston says it’s great to have Trish back in the WWE. Zack Ryder walks up really excited for what transpired a moment ago in the ring. He congratulates Kingston on winning the US title and Trish asks him what happened to his Internet Championship. Ryder says he will bring it back but not before he wins the WWE Title tonight.

John Laurinaitis is out in the ring and he says that he might have lost power over Monday night Nitro but he is still the Executive Vice President of Talent Relations. He says that Raw will forever be a part of John Laurinaitis and John Laurinaitis will forever be a part of Raw. Jim Cornette member of the creative team comes out and he tells Laurinaitis that he isn’t the only one with power over the board of directors. He says that Laurinaitis is just one member of the creative team. Laurinaitis reminds him that he is also the Executive…Booker T comes out. Booker gets a big reaction from the crowd. Booker tells Laurinaitis that he is sick and tired of watching him stealing the spotlight from the WWE superstars. He says that Laurinaitis’ job is to stay in his office and do what’s best for the WWE just like the rest of the creative team. Laurinaitis goes on to say that he isn’t just a member of the CT but he is also the Executive Vice…Shane McMahon’s theme hits! The son of Mr. McMahon comes out in a big ovation. Shane tells John that he is doing nothing good for the WWE. He says that Laurinaitis was killing Monday night Nitro and he made the people to stop watching the program. He says that Laurinaitis has no place being in the ring. Laurinaitis says that Cornette isn’t doing anything good for Nitro either and that Shane McMahon has his job only because he is the son of Vince. He calls Booker a has been and demands that Booker, Jim and Shane leave the ring now because this is his moment. Eric Bischoff comes out in a huge heat from the crowd. Eric says that he doesn’t trust Laurinaitis and he believes that Laurinaitis is a sick waste of time. He says that there Raw no longer exits, Nitro is back and Laurinaitis place is in his office not here. He says that the same thing goes for the rest of the CT. Stone Cold Steve Austin’s theme hits and the crowd goes nuts. Austin comes out into a huge ovation from the crowd in Columbia. Austin gets in the ring and stares down Shane, Eric, Booker, John and Cornette. Austin says that it’s about time the talk stops and that ass-kicking starts. Austin nails a Stunner on Laurinaitis. Shane and Booker then send Laurinaitis out of the ring as the crowd cheers. Austin then hits a Stunner on Cornette. Austin gets a few beers and shares them with Shane and Booker. Bischoff says that he doesn’t trust Austin either and Austin nails the new Chairman of the Board with a Stone Cold Stunner as well. The three remaining members of the CT celebrate in the ring with beers. Booker does the spinaroonie and then he gets a Stunner by Austin. Austin then looks at Shane and Shane knowing what is going to happen says “Let’s get this thing over with” Austin nails Shane ‘O Mac with a Stunner as well. Austin celebrates in the ring with beers into huge applauds from the crowd.

Matt Stryker interviews John Cena. Cena says that he doesn’t like The Rock and he can’t stand Brock Lesnar. He says that he respects The Rock even though Rock doesn’t respect him. Cena says he doesn’t respect Brock Lesnar but he acknowledges how powerful and fast Lesnar is. He says that tonight he will call the match down the middle and the best man will win. He says he hopes to have a match against Lesnar soon and he adds that he can’t wait to WrestleMania for his match against the Rock.

Sheamus comes out to a big pop from the crowd. Drew McIntyre comes out next into a big heat.

The bell rings and they lock up. They break it up and have a stare-down. They keep staring down each other for a few minutes. Suddenly, Sheamus nails the referee with a Brogue Kick! McIntyre smiles and picks up the referee before dropping him with a Future Shock DDT! Sheamus and McIntyre laugh and shake hands as the crowd boos. The announcers are wondering what the hell is going on. Sheamus grabs a mic and makes fun of the crowd for not seeing that coming. Sheamus says that finally he found someone that understands him. A real friend. He gives the mic to Drew who says that he and Sheamus have become best friends for some time now because of the way they have been treated by the American people and the rest of the world. He says that the WWE Universe will finally respect Ireland and finally the world will stop making fun of Scotland now that the Foreign Invasion is here! Sheamus and Drew leave the ring laughing as the crowd boos.

Miz’s theme song hits as The WWE Champion comes out along with Alex Riley. The Foreign Invasion has a stare-down with the WWE Champ before they walk to the back. Miz gets in the ring with Riley. He grabs a mic and trash talks about Zack Ryder. He says that he should be in the main event of Monday night Raw and not Brock and Rock. He says that the days where Rock was in the main event of Raw are over and the days of Brock Lesnar having big matches are over as well. He says it’s his time now. Tonight he will send a message to CM Punk by beating Zack Ryder and then he will do the exact same thing to Punk. Miz trash talks about Punk some more until he is interrupted by Zack Ryder’s theme. Zack Ryder comes out into a good reaction from the crowd.

WWE Championship – The Miz vs Zack Ryder

Ryder attacks and the bell rings. Ryder takes it to the corner but Miz fights out and rolls to the floor. Ryder chases Miz around the ring but gets taken down when they re-enter. Miz works Ryder over with rights, kicks and a high knee. Miz with a running kick to the face. Miz stomps away now but takes his time. Ryder gets up and fires back. Miz kicks him to the mat and hits a big DDT for a 2 count. Miz with knees to Ryder's back now. Miz with another running kick to the face. Miz continues the offense and knocks Ryder down when he tries to get up. Ryder rams Miz back in the corner but gets sent out to the floor. Miz comes outside and hits Ryder with another kick to the face. Miz brings it back in the ring but keeps Ryder on the apron and punches him, talking crap. Miz with a running knee to the face. Miz rolls Ryder over for another 2 count. Ryder tries to make a comeback again but Miz stops it. Miz applies a sleeper hold and takes Ryder down to the mat with it. More offense from Miz, another DDT and a 2 count. Miz with a big clothesline in the corner now. Miz climbs to the top and comes down with a double axe handle for a 2 count. Miz takes Ryder to the corner and then ties him up in a tree of woe. Miz stomps away at Ryder as he's hung upside down in the corner. Miz goes for a baseball slide into Ryder's face but Ryder pulls himself free and Miz hits the ring-post. Ryder with an elbow and a drop-kick now. Ryder with several right hands before taking Miz to the corner. Ryder throws Miz into the ring-post and hits a big back suplex for a 2 count. Miz tosses Ryder to the floor. Ryder comes back in with a big right hand and another 2 count. Miz rolls to the floor and Ryder follows him. Ryder slams Miz into the fan barrier, the ring apron and then the announcer's table. Riley gets in front of Ryder and Ryder takes him down with a right hand. Miz runs over and kicks Ryder in the gut and throws him back in the ring. When Miz gets back in the ring Ryder connects with the Rough Ryder. Ryder with the hook of the leg and Miz kicks out at two and a half. Ryder goes to the top rope and Riley gets into the apron to distract him. Ryder knocks Ryder off of the apron and Miz drops him off the top rope. Miz goes for the Skull Crushing Finale but Ryder counters into a roll-up for the near fall. Miz hits a knee to the head and goes for a neck-breaker but Ryder counters it jumping into the Miz’s shoulders in an electric chair position. Ryder rolls through into a sunset-flip for another near fall. Miz with a vicious kick to the head before Ryder could get to his feet. Miz hits the Skull Crushing Finale and hooks the leg to get the pin-fall and retain the title at 10:12.

After the match, Riley hands the WWE title to the Miz and they celebrate in the ring. We see highlights of the match leading to the finish. Miz and Riley head into the ramp laughing as Chris Jericho comes out. Jericho attacks Ryder and beats him down with a lead pipe. Ryder is helped to the back by the medics.

Backstage we see Theodore Long making his way to his office after talking with Eric Bischoff.

Up next: Shawn Michaels issues an apology to the Raw GM Theodore Long.

And still to come: One of the biggest rematches in WWE history. The Rock takes on Brock Lesnar with John Cena as the special guest referee.

Shawn Michaels comes out and issues an apology to Theodore Long for what happened last week. We see footage from last week’s accident where HBK accidently took out Teddy with a chair-shot to the head. Michaels says he still believes that what happened wasn’t his fault but he says he is ready to face the consequences if Teddy Long still thinks that Shawn did that on purpose. Mark Henry comes out and he says that he agrees with Shawn Michaels that what happened to T-Lo last week was Teddy’s own fault. He says that Long isn’t a WWE superstar there for he didn’t have any business being in the ring. He says that what happened to Teddy wasn’t Mark’s fault either. But what will happen to Shawn Michaels will be all Mark Henry’s fault. Teddy appears on the screen and he admits that what happened last week wasn’t Shawn’s fault or Henry’s. However he says that last week he ordered HBK and Mark Henry to stop fighting and they didn’t listen to him. That’s why Shawn Michaels and Mark Henry are gonna go one on one next week in a very special match. He says that HBK and the World’s Strongest Man are gonna settle their differences in a Steel Cage match. The crowd applauds as they like this decision. Henry says that this is exactly what he wanted. HBK will be locked inside a Steel Cage with the World’s Strongest Man ready to add him into his Hall of Pain list. Michaels says that he can’t wait to embarrass and humiliate Mark Henry as the Show-Stopper is going to slay the dragon that goes by the name of Mark Henry inside a Steel Cage. Michaels admits that this might be Henry’s environment but he says that it will not make any difference at all. Henry calls Michaels a dead-man. Michaels says they don’t need to wait until the Steel Cage match next week. They can give the WWE Universe a little preview right now. As HBK gets ready to fight, Mark Henry laughs and exits the ring. Henry tells Michaels that there is one more stipulation he would like to add to this match. The loser of this match leaves the WWE. The loser of this match leaves Raw or Nitro, or whatever, for good. HBK accepts the challenge.

Backstage, Sheamus and Drew McIntyre announce to the camera that Foreign Invasion will be making an impact in the WWE soon. They beat down David Otunga for no reason at all.

The newly signed to Monday night Raw Shad Gaspard comes out into a mixed reaction from the crowd. Shad says he came back to the WWE to make sure that wherever he goes people are chanting his name but all he sees right now is people being jealous of him. He says that the fans are still pathetic like they have always been. Shad makes an open challenge to anyone with the balls to wrestle him now that he is in the best shape of his life. RVD comes out and the crowd explodes in cheers. After years of absence Rob Van Damn has come back to Monday night Raw! RVD gets in the ring and gets loud cheers from the crowd as Shad looks upset as the last person he expected to see was RVD. A ref gets in the ring to call for the bell.

The bell rings and Van Dam with a waist lock and side head lock but Shad with a belly-to-back suplex but Van Dam holds on to the side head lock. Van Dam with a body scissors take down for a near fall. Van Dam tries for a standing moonsault but since Shad knew it was coming he was able to get his knees up. Van Dam with a slam followed by Rolling Thunder but because he knew what was coming, he gets his knees up again. Shad with a palm thrust for a near fall and then he hits an STO and gets a near fall. Van Dam with a drop toe hold into a Mutoh Lock but Shad gets to the ropes. Van Dam goes for the leg and then he connects with a forearm. Van Dam with an Irish whip and then he gives Shad a monkey flip. Van Dam poses for the fans and then he puts Shad in an abdominal stretch. Shad with a hip toss to get out of the hold. Shad with a single arm DDT for a near fall. Shad goes up top for a shoulder drop from the second turnbuckles but Van Dam rolls out of the way. Van Dam hits a jumping corkscrew drop kick followed by an epic 5 Star Frog-Splash for the victory at 5:06.

After the match, Van Dam celebrates in the ring as we see highlights of the match leading to the finish. Van Dam celebrates his victory with the fans cheering for him as he heads into the ramp.

Divas Championship – Beth Phoenix vs Velvet Sky

Velvet’s masked girls are banned from ringside. The bell rings and they lock up, going to the ropes. Beth backs off and Velvet throws a headlock on her. Beth drops Velvet with a shoulder but misses an elbow. Velvet counters again and goes for Beth's knee as a " Velvet sucks" chant breaks out from the crowd. Velvet with a hurricarana for a 2 count. Velvet gets on Beth's shoulders and uses the ropes to choke her. Velvet goes to the top for a cross body but Beth catches her in mid-air. Beth slams Velvet over her knee and starts spanking her. Beth mounts Velvet with right hands. Beth with a big kick and a boot to the neck for a 2 count. Beth slingshots Velvet's neck under the bottom rope and covers for another 2 count. Velvet makes a comeback and hits a bulldog. They go back and forth until Beth hits a big clothesline. Beth takes Velvet to the top rope as the crowd chants for her. Beth hits a big Diva super-plex on Velvet and both are down on the mat. Beth crawls over and covers Velvet for a 2 count. Beth gets up and grabs Velvet for a powerbomb. Velvet rolls out of it and rolls Beth up for a near fall. Beth with a vicious boot to the face. Beth goes for the Glam-Slam but Trish Stratus runs out and gets into the ring apron. Beth goes to knock her off but Trish avoids the shot and drops down by herself. The distraction allows Velvet to roll-up Beth and get the pin-fall to capture the Divas title at 7:21.

Winner and NEW Divas Champion: Velvet Sky!

After the match, Velvet celebrates in the ring with the Divas title as Beth looks shocked. Velvet rolls out of the ring with the title and Trish nails her with a Chick-Kick. Trish’s music hits as she heads up to the ramp laughing at Beth who looks pissed off.

We see footage from the WWE European Tour.

Backstage, Josh Matthews interviews the returning RVD who says that he enjoyed his return in the WWE, he had a nice competitive match with Shad and he is glad he won. He says he has a lot to give to this industry but he hates the fact that he will work for Eric Bischoff. R-Truth walks up and says that he is making his return to Nitro too but no one gives a damn about him. Everyone seems to be excited about Rock, Brock and now RVD. Van Dam says that maybe that’s his fault because he isn’t very interesting. Truth goes nuts and says that he will do something interesting tonight. Truth walks away but then he comes back and attacks RVD from behind.

John Cena comes out to a huge reaction from the crowd, lots of boos and cheers all mixed up. Cena is wearing a referee shirt as he will be the official for tonight’s main event. The Rock comes out and warns Cena to not screw him over. Brock Lesnar comes out looking very confident.

Brock Lesnar vs The Rock (Special Guest Refereee - John Cena)

The bell rings, and we're finally ready to kick things off. Lesnar and Rock lock up and push each other back and forth before Rock backs Lesnar up into the corner. Rock breaks clean without and count from Cena. Another lock up and Rock locks in a side headlock. When he's pushed off he comes right back with a big shoulder block that takes Lesnar off his feet. Rock takes Lesnar off his feet again and back into another side headlock. Lesnar gets out of it and back up to his feet, only to get another shoulder block for his efforts. Another lock up and Lesnar backs Rock up into the corner and Cena still isn't counting for anything. Lesnar with a few big shoulder block at Rock in the corner, but Rock comes back with a knee to the shoulder and follows it up with a big clothesline. Rock kicks Lesnar in the chest and picks him up, hitting a huge European uppercut before continuing the assault in the corner. Cena pulls Rock off, and it allows Lesnar to catch Rock with a big clothesline. Lesnar continues to work over Rock, slamming his head into the turnbuckle and working him over in the corner, and this time Cena pulls Lesnar off, leaving Lesnar open for a clothesline from Rock. Rock mounts Lesnar and lays in with a series of lefts and rights before getting back to his feet and stomping away at Lesnar. Rock drops a big knee before picking Lesnar up and kicking him in the shoulder. Lesnar rolls to the outside and Rock follows. Rock walks right into an assault by Lesnar, who tosses him into the barricade before backing him up twice into the ring apron. Lesnar then sends Rock shoulder first into the ring steps. Lesnar rolls Rock back into the ring and tries for a cover but he only gets two. Lesnar lays into the Rock with a couple of rights and a big left that takes Rock off his feet. Another cover from Lesnar and another two count. Lesnar sends Rock from corner to corner hard, before stepping on Rock’s neck and putting the pressure on. Lesnar goes for another cover but this time only gets one. Lesnar locks in a rear chin lock, but Rock is able to fight up to his feet pretty quickly. Rock fights out of the hold and ends up walking right into a big clothesline that takes him back down to the mat. Lesnar lays in with a big kick and tries for another cover for another two count. Another rear chin lock from Lesnar and Rock is able to fight to his feet again. Lesnar wears him down though and brings him back down to one knee before Rock can break the hold. Rock fights up to his feet again and is able to break the hold with a big belly to back suplex. Lesnar and Rock trade blows in the middle of the ring. Rock comes out on top with a big right hand sending Lesnar over the top rope and out to the floor. When Rock follows he finds himself driven back first into the ring post. Lesnar rolls Rock back into the ring, but when he follows, Rock kicks him in the head, knocking Lesnar down to the apron. Rock tries to drag Lesnar back into the ring but Lesnar targets Rock's eye. Rock comes back with a big neck-breaker that's good for a two count. Rock charges Lesnar in the corner but he runs right into a big boot. Lesnar climbs up to the second rope and leaps off with a big elbow drop that's good for a two count. Lesnar brings Rock back up to his feet and hits a big power-bomb, but he still can't get that three count. Lesnar stares down Cena, but Cena stands his ground. Lesnar tries for the F-5, but Rock fights out of it, only to be put right down with a sidewalk slam which gets Lesnar another two count and he's not happy about it. Lesnar argues with Cena and when he turns back to Rock, he gets a big DDT. Rock hooks the leg and gets a 2 count. Rock looks to put Lesnar away with the Rock-Bottom but Lesnar counters into a belly to belly suplex. Lesnar picks up the Rock and squeezes him with the bear-hug. Rock starts fighting it off but Lesnar holds him tight. Rock lays a few strong right hands to the head of Lesnar to break the hold. Rock hits the ropes and runs into a huge spine-buster by Lesnar. Lesnar with the hook of the leg and Rock kicks out at 2. Lesnar yells at Cena to do his job and Cena gives him the “you can’t see me” taunt. Rock takes down Lesnar with a chop to the knee and locks in the Sharp-Shooter. Lesnar tries to get into the ropes but Rock pulls him back in the middle of the ring. Lesnar however is able to crawl towards the ropes again and this time he grabs the bottom rope. Cena tells the Rock to break the hold. Rock breaks the hold and has a stare down with Cena. Cena gives him the “you can’t see me taunt” as well. Rock runs into a Rock-Bottom by Brock Lesnar! Lesnar with the cover but Rock kicks out at 2. Lesnar looks furious. Lesnar goes for the F-5 but Rock reverses it into the Rock-Bottom. Rock with the cover and Lesnar kicks out. Rock goes for a 2nd Rock-Bottom, Lesnar counters and goes for the F-5 again, Rock counters into a roll-up for a 2 count. Lesnar misses with a clothesline and Rock nails another big DDT. Rock goes for the People’s Elbow but Lesnar gets up and catches Rock with a spine-buster. Lesnar goes for the F-5, Rock counters and goes for the Rock-Bottom, Lesnar counters back into the F-5 and finally nails it! Lesnar with the hook of the leg, Rock puts his foot on the bottom rope but Cena doesn’t notice it and counts the pin-fall at 18:23.

Winner: Brock Lesnar!

After the match, Lesnar celebrates in the ring as we see highlights of the match leading to the finish. Cena sees in the highlights that Rock’s foot was in the ropes so he orders for the match to restart. Indeed the bell rings and the match has officially restarted. Lesnar goes mad and lays a strong right hand on Cena taking him down. Lesnar runs into a Rock-Bottom from the Rock. Rock with the hook of the leg and Cena counts the pin-fall!

After the final ending, Rock celebrates in the ring as J.R. says that Cena made the right decision to restart the match. Rock slaps a few hands with the fans as he heads up to the ramp celebrating. Lesnar looks at the Rock and yells at him to come back. He turns into a big right hand from Cena. Cena gives him the “you can’t see me” taunt against before leaving the ring. Lesnar looks extremely angry while Cena heads up to the ramp as the show goes off…
