Cyrus Black: Ooh, let me guess! Ahem...you want me to think that I'm working my way in your head, but your super-special awesome mental fortitude isn't allowing me to. Then at Pain for Pride, you're going to shock me by just demolishing me, after I've let my guard down thinking that your mind is little more than a big bowl of gravy. That about it?

Cyrus chuckles as he picks up a Singapore cane resting on the wall next to him.

Cyrus Black: It would be a good plan except for two things. One, I'm well and truly into your head even if you want to stand there and deny it. Anybody can see that you're all worked up, constantly thinking about this match as if your life depended on it. It weakens you, Alex...to have such blind focus that you miss the obvious Truth. I wouldn't be this embarrassed to fight you if you weren't so damned moronic as to not even admit the slightest amount of doubt in your mind. Everyone with half a brain would feel some tinge of doubt facing me...everyone! Because they've seen what I do to people in that ring. And in some cases, they've experienced it firsthand. Only a complete and utter dumbass would say they have no doubts about their chances of beating me, and I refuse to believe that you're that completely mentally inept. Admitting it would allow you to overcome that doubt, even overcome me. But you don't...and like everyone's been telling you for weeks, it will lead to your destruction.

Cyrus holds up two fingers, before lowering the one.

Cyrus Black: And two...even if I were to believe that you were somehow immune to my mental warfare, that you out of all the people I've fought and crushed in a wrestling ring were somehow stronger than any of them, it still wouldn't make a difference. Because if you ever learn one thing about me, I'd strongly suggest you learn this: regardless of who you are or what you've done, when you step into the ring with me you are nothing more than an obstacle in my Road, nothing more or less. I will crush you regardless of whether the mind games work or not. And it boggles my mind that you can't see that...you can't come to grips with the fact that no matter what you do or say, I will put you through hell on earth. And the thing is, you can put me through hell too, but it's not any brand of hell I haven't been through already on my journey. There's nothing you can do to me that somebody else hasn't already done, and done better. You want to add a few new scars to my already-impressive collection? Fine, I don't mind. But I'll add a few scars to that body of yours too. At Pain for Pride, you will fight. You might even give me a fight I won't ever forget. But you will lose something. To hell with your family tragedy, to hell with your stories of achieving greatness in your second ever wrestling match, and to double-hell with your special training with the Siberian Men's Choir or whatever their name is. All of that doesn't matter because you will be facing the very best in the world at Pain for Pride, and you will lose greatly. So what I recommend you do is that you prepare yourself to lose everything...because if you have any hope of taking this title away from me, everything you have to lose may not be enough.

Neville is backstage when he overhears an insult directed towards him by Nova on a monitor, in a rage he storms towards the ring but notices Nova has already left and is in a heated confrontation with Mr. Black, out of respect to Cyrus's ability to handle his own battles he stays out of sight.

"Seriously? come on you overpaid ring rat, say one more thing about me and I'll come over there." he growls under his breath, almost daring the number one contender.

Alex walks off leaving him alone

Neville laughs and shakes his head

"I would say Cyrus is going to shove that kids head up his own ass but I'm beginning to believe its already there." he muses before walking off in the opposite direction.
