The stern hand of fate has scourged us to an elevation where we can see the great everlasting things which matter for a nation -- the great peaks we had forgotten, of Honor, Duty, Patriotism, and clad in glittering white, the great pinnacle of SACRIFICE pointing like a rugged finger to Heaven... With that quote finished and the theme of this well rounded, and very focused superstar hits, the fans go crazy, awaiting to see their favorite superstar make his appearance on EFNW again. As his theme rolls on and the man that's singing this 'Marolyn Manson' actually begins, a red figure-- an outline of a man is shown on the stage with his back turned to the camera and to the fans. They go even more berserk. A red cloud of smoke starts to fill the arena and the rest of the lights are dimmed down to black. When the guitar part/beat of the song starts to kick in he slowly turns and removes the hood off his head and looks out at the crowd. He walks down the ramp, while the music continues to blare through the speakers. The smoke has a rather foul smell to it, and the fans notice that but still are in awe of Nova's grand appearance here. He makes his way down the ramp visiting some fans giving them high fives. After that he stops and raises his arm in the air while people whistle and shout, he then makes his way up the steps and into the ring. Then while in the ring he visits all 4 turnbuckles before hopping down and standing in the middle of the ring. He motions for the bell keeper to toss him a mic. He catches it and waits for the crowd to die down with their noise and chatter. While the music slowly fades. He stands there while some fans continue to cheer.
"In this world, you are given one shot...and that is why god put us here, to enjoy life, and that one shot is all you have, and if you fail to keep yourself alive, you either make way down one very good path, and the other you burn to ash and suffer a very brutal and painful experience. But me, I plan to do none of that, which is why I am still living. And that is why, I see nobody on the horizon who can take me out, or even come close, to putting me down, and out of what I enjoy to do, and that is, to entertain you all. The fans cheer a short round of applause then quiet down. Now with that being said, I'd like to take this time to discuss to you... my past, my present, and my future. Three keys to my success, and to my failure. Now..back when I was young, about 10 years old is when I first started to experience the thrill of wrestling. I took it in, inhaled it, hell wrestling was the only path I could take.. when I was a child my mom left, not left as in divorced, but to another place where she is happier. See we lived in a neighborhood where... if you step outside, that's just like signing a piece of paper to your own will. Death, was the number one thing on anyones mind that stepped foot outside.. but on that day, December 3rd.. my mom was shot, by 4 guys who were intoxicated with booze, and showing no remorse then continued to rape my own mother into non existence. That night, my dad took my arm, and he told me.. Alex, if you have a dream, at this point, go for it, no matter who puts you down, no matter what is in your way--you push it aside, and you go for it. So from that day, I started to tell my dad, I was interested in wrestling. A couple days later he got me in a local tournament..I started winning, and losing, and going higher and higher.. until I reached high school, where later in my senior year they gave me a scholarship, and without any doubt or turning back I set on my journey again. 3 years after that, I got scouted or, well sent some tapes in for this Indy wrestling circuit called NAWA. Now my experience there, and I still have scars, it was a brutal one. The guy who owns the company his name is Brad Killinger, and he' told me, "This aint a place for kids like you, I wouldn't blame you if you walked out after your first match" but I ignored him and competed in it." The lights slowly turn on from the dimmed black that was on earlier and the fans chant Nova's name in appreciation while he lowers his mic and smiles at the crowd then holds his mic in the air for them to continue. Then he lowers it and waits for the chants to stop, and raises it to his lips.
"So after being taken in by NAWA like a stray I competed in my first match and it was against a man named Luthor Greene. Now this man, picture this: 6'9, and about 300 pounds of muscle and, what was going through my mind at the time, was not whether I would come out of this match in one piece, no, what was going through MY MIND, was if I could hold the shit in my ass, cause this guy--was HUGE. But it didn't matter. I competed, as the match went on, nearing the end, I hit him with a move that's still popular today, the Karma Injection, and in one blow, he collapsed, and I got the pin. Now after that match the man was so impressed with me he gave me a title shot, and I was shocked because one match in my debut I got a title, shot... and for the champion, I did the exact same thing, and the same guy that told me I should just leave, walks up to me and says "I was wrong kid, whoever taught you---taught you well..." after that I shook his hand and walked off. As my wrestling days progressed, I saw it as my thing now, I wasn't just a rookie, as most people thought, I overcame the toughest, and most hardest guys to beat in the ring today, and I'm STILL proud of that, and my name will forever be within the fallen brand now of NAWA. But enough of that bogus, here we are in EFNW, I made my grand appearance and you guys want me to trade shots with Cyrus huh? Because, here's how I look at this situation.. I'm going to go into this match, and I'm gonna give it everything I have, no matter what happens, I'm going to look at it like my first match on NAWA, and I'm going to prove to HIM, and gain HIS respect, because without respect, here, you're a nobody. And that goes to ECCW, and CWW too.." The fans cheer as Nova finishes that sentence and then quiet down before he raises the mic and chuckles before speaking again.
"See? So, as for Cyrus, you can come out here, and make a fool of me, day in--and day out, and you can rally some troops in the back, hell even line up more young people who ride your dick just to be the next faggot in line for a title shot.. I don't really care... What I know is from where I am at the moment, all I can do is train, train, and train some more, that's all I need. Mind games, or no mind games, I'm going to be at the top of my game when we lock up, and you are going to look at me, and your going to be the same as the man who told me I couldn't do it, because Cyrus, even though you are...a legend in this industry I still think , I have a shot, at taking you out...I am currently trained by an elite group called the LAAW.. they also saw me and my potential, and took me in as their own.. they are an advanced military group along the border of Russia. And doesn't matter eh? Well , I'll tell you what, I know exactly what you are going to say, and I know exactly what you say about ME in the back, instead of getting your filthy ass out here and telling it straight to me like a man. A winding road? Yeah that's what you'll be heading down, and the one that's embroiled in flame, because after our match I'll make it clear, that I am the most dominant superstar out there!"
The fans go insane as Nova's music hits at the part it left off. He raises his arms in the air and approaches the turnbuckle. He then hops off and gets out of the ring and gives a few fans high fives before making his way up the ramp and to the back out of sight.

Bill Mayne, EFNW's resident interviewer, managed to find Cyrus Black backstage, sitting on a production crate with the ENFW World Title on his lap. Apparently, Cyrus had watched the entirety of Alex Nova's most recent promo very intently. Mayne approaches Cyrus with a mic and a cameraman.
Bill Mayne: Cyrus, just wanted to get your thoughts on Alex Nova's recent speech?
Cyrus, almost as if he's trying to work out something in his mind, finally answers by saying:
Cyrus Black: Well, I'm confused.
Mayne, apparently confused himself at such a response, can't follow up. Cyrus continues.
Cyrus Black: I mean, really confused. So, if Alex Nova is to be believed, his mother was shot and then raped by four men, and immediately afterwards his father told him to chase his dreams? What kind of father would say that to their kid after their mother was horrifically assaulted? Personally, if it were me, I'd have my child go to therapy instead of telling them "Well, your mother's been viciously brutalized, but go chase those dreams of yours, sport!" Then, we are told to fathom the fact that a green-as-gooseshit kid managed to beat a veteran in the ring in a convincing enough fashion to garner a championship match, which he subsequently won. Maybe my experience as a pro wrestler was different from most, but I seem to remember getting my ass handed to me for months before getting good enough to hang with the journeymen and veterans of the indy circuit. And to add icing to this big "What the Fuck" cake that Alex Nova insists on shoving down our throats, he's receiving training from some Russian special forces outfit called the LAAW? Mayne, even my eyes, which see nothing but Truth, have a hard time digesting Alex's story and not calling "bullshit." If all of that is a bunch of crap, then Alex Nova is not only delusional, but a terrible liar. But here's the one thing I can take comfort in...even if Alex's story is 100% true, it still doesn't matter.
Cyrus cracks a smirk as he grabs Mayne's microphone away.
Cyrus Black: Allow me to repeat that. It. Doesn't. Matter. You see, I like any other so-called "wrestling legends" could take this time to remind Alex and anybody within earshot that I've been a World Champion everywhere I've competed, how I've helped build companies and have dominated the so-called "top promotion" out there, but the Truth is that none of that makes a difference. What does matter is who and what I am. I am Cyrus Black, EFNW World Heavyweight Champion and the man many believe is the best wrestler walking the planet today. I've traveled the world, learning bits and pieces of different styles of wrestling from various schools and wrestling dojos, becoming adept enough to wrestle any style I may come in contention with. And above all else, I place my faith in the doctrines of the Long and Winding Road, and am not only physically tough enough to endure whatever trials may come my way, but mentally strong enough to rise above any and all obstacles that stand in my path. Alex, you talk about proving you're as good as me or earning my respect...kid, if this is your idea of earning my respect, you're going about it the wrong way. I don't care what you've done. I don't care about your life story or whatever Soviet rejects you may be training with. All I care about is that you get over this shallow and pointless attempt to make yourself out to be a bigger deal than you really are. You're a talented wrestler and you don't completely suck at speaking...but that's all you are. You're not some great story about rising above tragedy, you're not some white knight emerging from the ashes of despair...you're just a man. And instead of evolving past that, you insist on saying the same thing over and over again in the hopes that I'll just hand you the title belt just so that I never have to listen to you again.
Cyrus stands up as he slings the World Title over his shoulder.
Cyrus Black: You want my respect? How about you learn some self-respect and just cut the bullshit? Stop being so damned moronic and trying to hide your obvious self-confidence issues with false bravado. And for the love of all things good and righteous in the Truth that binds all things together...stop thinking that I'm some lowly scrub and you're this unstoppable juggernaut. A lot of people have lost a lot of money and pride by underestimating me. You keep underestimating me, and you stand to lose a whole hell of a lot more. At Pain for Pride, I'm going to be the ever-loving man-shit out of you regardless. If you want to survive, stop pretending to be a badass and come to grips with the cold, hard Truth. Don't say I didn't warn you.
Cyrus tosses the mic back to Mayne as he heads down the hallway.
