- The WWE Championship match between the Miz and CM Punk at King of the Ring will now be a Ladder match. It was originaly scheduled to be a Steel Cage match but the match type was changed last Monday night. No word on why that happened.
- Sources within the WWE are talking about Chris Jericho not happy with Raw turning to Nitro and that's the reason that he moved to SmackDown. The plans were originaly for Chris Jericho to compete in a #1 Contender 4 Way Dance at the King of the Ring PPV but he has now been replaced by the newly signed Samoa Joe.
- Rumors want Pinkie Sanchez to look for a spot in the Foreign Invasion - a team formed by Sheamus and Drew McIntyre. Sanchez is scheduled to debut tomorrow night on WWE Superstars and also to have his first match on Nitro next week.
- The WWE is teasing a John Cena vs Brock Lesnar match at King of the Ring. Plans can always change thought since John Cena is in the King of the Ring tournament.
- No word yet on who is going to replace Theodore Long as the General Manager of Nitro. WWE is keeping it a top secret.
