"The Unmasking of a Fierce Enemy" -- "The Battle Approaches"

Harry Jones and Jarrett Calloway open the show, both getting their final words in before the big Powerplay event. Harry takes the opportunity to direct verbal insults at Jarrett personally, whilst Jarrett seems to target EFNW as a promotion more than Jones as an individual. The confrontation ends when the EFNW crowd begin to chant, “Fuck him up Harry, fuck him up!”. Jones responds by saying “All in good time”, before leaving the ring.

Hardcore Demon [EFNW] vs Sean Shamrock [ECCW]
The match is a short one, yet it is incredibly fast-paced and evenly matched. After a valliant effort from Sean, Demon seals the victory with a Package Piledriver. After the match has concluded, a message plays on the tron. “Powerplay –YOU MEET YOUR END”, states the message ~ !!

Kevin cuts a very modest backstage promo, somewhat praising Alex for his victory at No More Sorrow. Kevin says that tonight all of Nova’s good fortune will be gone, and the Revolution Championship will return to its rightful owner.

Kevin Evans vs Alex Nova – EFNW Revolution Championship
We cut to the ring and the next match on the card is none other than Kevin Evans taking on Alex Nova for Alex Nova’s newly won Revolution Championship! Nova is first to the ring, being accompanied by his mentor of sorts, Angel Rodriguez. The crowd is definitely not happy to see Nova and Rodriguez but neither man seems to care. Kevin Evans is a different story though. The self-proclaimed‘Most Dangerous Man on the Planet’ walks out from the back to a very strong reception and a ‘Fuck Him up Evans’ chant. Evans seems focused, tunnel vision, maybe too focused because he didn’t realize the cheers turning to boos or the sound of foot steps behind him as the returning Jake Lyndon charges out from the back and drives his elbow into the back of Evans head. Evans goes down to one knee and Lyndon connects with a roundhouse kick. Lyndon begins to stomp away at a defenseless Evans before ripping the man to his feet. Evans drops to a knee, eyes glazed over and barely with us as the boos of the crowd towards Lyndon grow louder. Jake rips Evans back first onto his shoulders before planting him with On The Seventh Day God Created Pain (Burning Hammer) on the hard, unforgiving concrete of the entrance ramp! Evans hits the concrete hard as Nova and Rodriguez look on happily. Security begins to rush out as Lyndon kicks Evans from the ramp to the floor. Lyndon holds both arms in the air as he heads backstage and the crowd boos loudly.

The commentators hype up Powerplay, breaking down all of the matches individually.

Angel Rodriguez vs Casey Anomaly
Two of EFNW’s hottest commodities squared off in what was one of the best matches we’ve seen on EFNW TV. Rodriguez was the aggressor early, gaining the ascendency after the two traded reversals in a technical wrestling clinic for the opening minutes. For the next seven or eight minutes which followed Rodriguez scored near fall after near fall as he hit Anomaly with everything he had, but wasn’t able to put him away. After narrowly escaping an El Nino Planter Anomaly began to turn things around. Anomaly planted Rodriguez with a Shattered Dreams and followed it with a suicide. The two men then began to brawl around the ringside area before just returning to the ring in time. Anomaly was firmly in control and looking to put Rodriguez away when the music of Tim Taylor hit. The ref was distracted, Anomaly turned his attention to the stage only to be spun around by Rodriguez as Taylor slipped into the ring from the crowd, the ref oblivious. Taylor hit Anomaly with a Pump Kick before he could realize Taylor was even in the ring. The ref turned just as Taylor slips out of the ring to count the pin and give Rodriguez the win!

Following the bout, as Rodriguez joined Taylor on the stage in celebration, Anomaly demanded a mic as he lay on the mat, barely aware of his surroundings and muttered; ‘A matter of time Tim, a matter of time.’

Michael DeJesus takes the opportunity to proclaim himself as the new Number One Contender for the Revolution Champion. However, his strong words turn out to be nothing more than mere wrestlers talk. Ron Stirling from the Board of Directors makes his entrance and announces that next week there will be an EFNW Rulez tournament to determine the new Number One Contender for the EFNW Revolution Championship. The contestants will include;

“And many more talented EFNW wrestlers will fight in their tournament for the ultimate prize; an opportunity to face Alex Nova for the EFNW Revolution Championship! And Michael, since you’re already in the ring, how about you prove to everybody in this Miami arena that you actually have what it takes to wrestle for the Revolution Championship! So, Michael, tonight you will face … DAN MASKELL! Come on, bring him out! Umm, Dan, are you there? Come on, Dan, you’ve got a match! Where is – “

Ron Stirling is cut off by a video package which plays in the backstage area. Surge is seen standing over Maskell’s body which is drenched in a pool of blood. Surge rips his mask off and to the disappointment of everybody’s curiosity; Surge has a cheap cardboard mask covering his face. Surge symbolically places his signature mask over Dan’s bloody head, before walking out of the cold, dark room.

Noeleen Phoenix vows to change professional wrestling by rebirthing the long-lost Vixens division, starting from next week when she faces Kelly for the Vixens Championship.

Omega vs A Local Athlete
The match is one-sided and boring. Omega claims the victory at 1:32 via a Spear. After easily defeating the Local Athlete, Omega accepts the challenge of Robert Robinson and says that he will defend his title at EFNW 5!

Marcelo Evans questions whether Phil Brilliance will actually even show up to the arena, cheaply insulting Phil’s lack of activity. As Marcelo begins to gain a lot of momentum in his in-ring promo, he is cut off by Brilliance who appears on the titantron. Phil assures Marcelo that he will be there.

Cyrus Black vs Tim Taylor
Tim Taylor comes out incredibly strong in this match, dominating Cyrus in the early stages. After playing with Black and humiliating the man for ten straight minutes, Tim decides to put an end to the lopsided match up. Tim tries to connect with the Pump Kick, but Cyrus counters! Tim is thrown across the ring with a leg-drag! Cyrus begins to gain momentum with a series of lariats, before topping that momentum off with a Burning Hammer! The crowd are in absolute awe as a bloody, bruised Cyrus Black applies a Rear Naked Choke to Taylor! After ten seconds, Tim taps out! The crowd give a huge pop as Cyrus staggers up the entrance ramp, showing signs of pride after coming back from an onslaught and picking up the victory.

Dustin Shore is seen watching Cyrus Black celebrate in the backstage area. “I can do better.”, he says, before leaving the room.

Dustin Shore vs Harry Jones
The match goes to a No Contest at 19:32 when Jarrett Calloway interferes with the match and breaks up a possible match-winning pinfall for Jones. Dustin and Jarrett begin to double team Jones, which looks incredibly bad for Harry. Jarrett is halfway through laying Jones out on a table, when Cyrus Black emerges from the backstage area! The camera pans in on an audience member with his right index finger lodged up his ear, showing the obvious signs of confusion. WHY IS CYRUS HELPING OUT HARRY JONES?! Oh, wait, it appears that he doesn’t give a crap about Jones, and he just wants to beat up Dustin! Cyrus picks up a steel chair from ringside and chases Dustin up the entrance ramp and out of the arena, leaving Jarrett and Jones in the ring, alone! Harry seems to have the slight advantage over Calloway, until Matthew Jericho connects with a Kendo Stick shot to the back of Harry’s head! Calloway then lifts Jones up and plants him through the table with a spinebuster! Matthew grabs a microphone and shouts at the EFNW fans, “I’m gonna buy this bingo hall piece of shit”, as EFNW Wrestling goes off the air!

The twisted and now calculating and unpredictable theme of 'The Sacrificer of Sorrow' Alex Nova blares throughout the arena leaving an eerie sound leaving the fans ears bleeding with the catchy tune of his new theme ringing through their ears. They watch in awe as the smoke fills through the arena, kids turn to their parents scared now of what has become of the once Rookie state of Alex Nova, now turned wretched and evil. Smoke looms in the air as all the fans go quiet, they don't know whether to boo him or cheer for him. He walks out onto the stage only some of them giving him boo's the others still staying absolutely silent. The arena is just showered in his theme as if they were possessed. The stare eagerly as the figure approaches the stage covered in a black & white jacket that reads 'SOS' on the back and the grim reaper logo also with it. He walks out and doesn't lift his head just continues to walk slowly still covered in the smoke that lets off a disgusting smell. The lights now change from blackish to a reddish black color and change multiple times in the process. He finally reaches the ring and decides to ignore the fans some wanting high fives, he decides also to use the steps instead of going right up onto the mat. He wipes his feet before entering he is wearing a whole new outfit to this new gimmick. Strange but effective on these fans. He stands in the middle of the ring--having a mic down by his side and waits for the music to die down before speaking over this silence.

Alex Nova

'The time has come when everything is beginning to change. People, plants, animals... the earth revolving around the sun will soon spin out of orbit and crash... and a new apocalypse will take over the globe. Kevin Evans... a name that will stay in my head for a while now.. because knowing what has happened ever since I made my appearance on EFNW he has done nothing but put me down huh? Well like I said, the SOS Era has begun..and Evans will suffer the consequences as shown on EFNW this past week. But our attack, has not yet started. You may think it has... but it hasn't, you see Evans, remember when you told me, I would never take your title from you? Remember when you said I would never become a main eventer I'm just another pretty boy here? I remember...everything. From the attacks, to verbal assaults... your time is up...you are no longer the 'Classic Kevin Evans'--your not even 'The Most Dangerous man in the World'...No...you haven't seen dangerous yet Kevin. You haven't seen dangerous yet.... I'm the new Revolution world champion...now to everyone that is in the tournament to crown a new number one contender... him having full momentum and thinking he can overcome the Sacrifice..? No. It's not that easy. You see I've become much more powerful now then I have ever been before. I'm really angry, and not in a precariously good mood. I've been awakened by offers that I could not pass over... I've been bugged that I wasn't cut out for this business and I've been tortured and put to the test many times, and now I KNOW that I can withstand whatever comes in my path of destruction.'

He drops the mic and looks out to the crowd his hoodie still over his head and covering his face only thing seen is the smirk on his face, showing his mouth and that twisted smile. His theme plays from where it left off as he hops off the mat and exits the ring into the back.

Casey Anomaly
*Casey is sitting in the trainers room still getting in an argument with the trainers who are telling him he can't compete next week. Casey storms out of the room. He heads past catering and bumps into Noeleen. He turns around to yell but once he realizes its Noeleen and sighs facepalming.*
"I thought I heard you signed here as well, cousin."

*he shoots a dirty look to the training room*
"I dunno. Some of these dick heads around here obviously don't deserve respect because they don't see obvious things.."

*he sarcastically laughs then sighs*
"Ha. Ha. Very funny Noe. Its because they won't fucking clear me to compete but I'm perfectly okay. I mean yeah do I have a bruised rob or two and possibly have a very VERY small concision. But I'm a professional wrestler, not a pussy."

Douche bag? Not so much.. Total tool and absolute faggot? Of course. Sure he beat me fair and square not to long ago but I sure as hell whipped his ass after the match even though I was injured apparently. Then he has the balls to screw me out of a match against fucking Angel Rodriguez. He's really gonna get whats coming to him sooner then he thinks

*he goes to continue ranting about Tim but then hears what she said and is taken back for a moment. He thinks for a moment but a grin makes its way to his face*
Actually.. that isn't half a bad idea... and didn't he try to get in your pants once back in my home company? Heard about that an while ago but never really confronted you about it.
