The opening powerful bass riff of Brocas Helm blares as Cyrus Black emerges from behind the curtain and onto the stage, with every fan standing and roaring for the International Champion. Cyrus looks pretty battered after the brawl at the conclusion of Insanity, but he still smirks as he walks down the ramp. He's wearing his International Title around his waist, under his open, sleeveless trenchcoat and over his completely and utterly better-than-yours T-shirt, available at EFNWShop.com.



Cyrus reaches the ring and goes under the ring apron to grab something...a Singapore cane. Cyrus stands there, holding the cane parallel to the bridge of his nose for several seconds before sliding into the ring. Cyrus snatches a microphone from a stagehand and starts to speak.

Cyrus Black: To quote the Road Warriors...ohhhhhhh, what a rush! It seems that Evans, in his completely narcissism, has elected to call his stable of peons "Empire." Which means that Evans fancies himself a emperor...but what he doesn't realize is that the foundation of his kingdom will in short fashion become a bunch of rotting corpses. Danny boy...this is the stuff I LIVE FOR! Overwhelming odds, worthy competition, and a grand obstacle that once I break through will make me feel like God himself! But don't delude yourself anymore than you already are. Despite the odds, myself and my comrades-in-arms will tear down your empire like those of eras past, and there's very little you can do to stop the barbarians from crashing down the gates of your feeble and decaying Empire.

Cyrus laughs as the crowd chants his name.

Cyrus Black: All right, settle down. On to more important matters. It seems that Jake Lyndon has finally grown the stones to exercise his rematch clause. He was even so kind as to allow me to choose the stipulation for said match, provided I beat Used-Condom Ali...in other words, he just went ahead and handed me the right to choose the stip. So, what was the stipulation that I chose? Well, take a look at the Tron...

The lights cut out in the area as a video package plays of various wrestlers in hardcore matches. There's almost no similiarities in the montage clips...save for one. There's a massive amount of bloodshed in every single clip, as announcers can be heard in the video explaining that "the only way to win is to make your opponent bleed before you do," "it's vicious, it's barbaric, and it's incredibly sick and twisted," and "only the most deranged and unhinged wrestlers would ever compete in such a match, and even less would take such sadistic pleasure in making another man bleed." Horrific images of brutality are flashed as wrestlers are shown bleeding from their forehead, their arms, their chests, and their backs as the color filter turns a crimson hue, before fading to black.

Cyrus Black: First Blood Match...

The lights cut back on as Cyrus stands in the center of the ring, Singapore cane resting on his shoulder. There's a very disturbed look on The Exile's face.

Cyrus Black: Lyndon...you are without a shadow of a doubt the most shortsighted, idiotic, and downright stupid son of a bitch in the history of this business. You practically handed me the right to name the stip, and in doing so you've signed your own death warrant...and you've signed it in blood. You had to have known that I would have made the match a First Blood Match, as much as anyone knows that I am the master and ruler of First Blood rules. I've made my name on matches like that...hell, I get off on the sight of my opponents bleeding! There's not been a First Blood Match that I've competed in that my career that hasn't become infamous for the amount of sheer brutality that they encompass. And yet, this match would've never come around had you not opened your mouth and opened the path for me on the Long and Winding Road to completely eviserate you. Poor little Jake...you should have just let it go. You should have simply exercised your rematch and went for a standard wrestling match. Granted, you would have lost anyway, but you might have been able to survive and wrestle another match down the Road. Now? Now, boy...I'm going to make you bleed. I'm going to bash your face into the steel ring posts, I'm going to take the padding off the corners of the ring and help you take the Five First Steps on an exposed turnbuckle...and then...well, I'm going to take my trusty Singapore cane and bash your skull in until you become a fountain of crimson gore. And even after the bell has rung...oh, that'll just be the beginning. You see, when I'm done with you, the EMTs will be wheeling you out of the arena, horrified by the sight of your blood staining the canvas. Jake Lyndon...thank you. Thank you for giving me free reign to split your head open and bust it down to the white meat. And in return, I'll be sure to make this match one that'll be forever remembered in the annals of EFNW history. Maybe that'll help ease the excruciating pain that you'll suffer through for the rest of your life as I send you hobbling towards Journey's End. See you on the Long and Winding Road...

Cyrus's music blares again as he poses for the crowd one last time. He makes his way towards the ring steps and towards the ramp, looking to head backstage.

OFF: If anyone wants to continue this who has a stake in this whole shindig, by all means go ahead.

Neville kicks a box angrily as he storms around backstage, upset that he failed to get his streak into the double digits

Shaun Moriarty is in the gym preparing for his match against the Camera man he challenged

Dan maskell and The Chavs are backstage watching Cyrus Promo backstage

Yusuf Ali is in the gym

The screen goes dark as the video opens up on EFNW's website. Static along with blurred images of things such as police brutality along with the words "Apathy", Lady Justic graffiti'd in law slogans and so on play across the screen - very cyberpunk-esque. Static then fills the screen, but disperses into dark again. Suddenly, there is a flash of light as a chair is visible in the room. It spins around to reveal Surge, hands tented, legs folded and looking back at the screen. He's in a black shirt that says "Who's Your Daddy?" with the Big Daddy character from Bioshock on it, along with his usual black jeans and signature mask, done with dark orange lightning designs.

He opens up, "Evans...Maskell...Stafford...Lyndon...the whole God-damn Empire... Oh, boy are you guys in for a treat. To think, your problems started out with me. Now they've grown to encompass Neville Ryan, Cyrus Black, Tim Lucker and Casey Anomaly. You don't seem to realize that these are five very talented, yet brutal men who will not hesitate to not just fight, but brutalize in order to achieve their goals. You don't seem to realize, that no matter what the numbers are, it's gonna be quality over quantity. One Surge is worth five Jake Lyndons. I mean, I don't even know where to start with you in regards to your stupidity! You're all calling yourself the 'Empire' now? That's funny. That's really funny. You see, especially for you, Dan. You need to hitch yourself to the politicians and oversee'ers to be successful. Whereas, I, Surge, don't have an empire. I have a legacy. And that legacy is of broken bones, blood spilt and Championships won. You may be the horse that management is backing, Maskell, but know this: they backed the wrong horse. I was screwed by the backstage team, I was conspired against and disregarded. And this isn't the first time, either. In almost every company I've wrestled for, I was ignored until I was made 'the man', so-to-speak, in a move of desperation. And as 'the man', I got ratings back up, I got people watching, and then I was always told 'hey, thanks for that, but you're no longer needed. No hards feelings'. Do you know how that feels? Do you know how it feels to work and work and work only to have everything unnecessarily ripped from your grasp? Of course you don't, Maskell. You made friends with management. It was Scott Gone and me who veyed for you to be given a chance in every company before it all went to your head, before you turned into more of a douche than usual. And this is how you repay me? Dan, I had no problems hurting you in the spirit of competition before, but this time, I'm not gonna just hurt you...I'm going to murder you. Your career is going to be killed, like mine was on multiple occassions. The thing is, I always come back. I'll make sure you won't. You and your new friends are dead, Maskell..."

The video then abruptly fades out to the sound of Surge chuckling.

Man, I remember those days...sometimes it'd be a packed arena, other times it'd be a turnout of maybe a couple hundred. There was always someone new trying to make a name for themselves by beating me...so many broken bodies. Ah, memories...

Cyrus Black: If you're worried about Surge pinning Maskell at the same time as you, then you don't know Surge. He'll tear Maskell to shreds after what Maskell tried to do to his mask. And besides...even after he's done with Maskell, you have to know that he'll try and do the same to you if it means winning the World Title.
