Terror Results (6/4/12)

Robert Cairo came out to address last week. Due to Surge interrupting the open mic from last week, he now has to find another way to select a new #1 Contender. He announces that tonight's main event will be a triple threat match for the #1 Contendership. Venom vs. Dan Maskell vs. Kevin Evans. If Surge interferes at all, he will be fired. Cairo laughs maniacally as he is escorted to the back.

Zayten distracted O'Walker, allowing Jayden to get the pin. After the match St. Pierre blew off Zayten, who offered him a handshake.

Backstage segment where Dan Maskell personally thanks Robert Cairo for the opportunity tonight. Cairo smiles at him as he walks away. Maskell bumps into Casey Anomaly, both men stare each other down before walking away.

Diego Garza d. Azazel (5:29)
Garza pretty much dominated his much bigger opponent Azazel. Azazel received some decent heat.

ECCW Tag Team Champions Christopher Styles & Oliver Walker d. two local jobbers (4:51)
Straightforward job match. Afterward The Enforcers walked out and stared down the champs, all four men receiving heat.

Casey Anomaly d. Hassan w/ Abdullah (10:40)
Anomaly fought through interference from Abdullah to win. He then went to sit at commentary for the main event.

Dan Maskell d. Venom and Kevin Evans to become the #1 Contender for the ECCW Heavyweight Championship. (14:34)
Maskell pinned Evans to win. Afterwards both men stared each other down for a while, before Maskell started walking to the back. In a second, Maskell blindsides Anomaly with his finisher. Dan walks shamelessly to the back as the show ends.

I agree completely. I personally think the only two who should stay tweeners are Surge (it really fits his gimmick) and one other person. Maybe Zayten, but he could easily be face. But sign up your CPW guy, the more faces the merrier.

Gimmick: Dan Maskell was not supposed to be the bitter Sociopath you see in front of you, at one stage he was heralded as one of the biggest amateur Boxing prospects of all times whose ego was boosted way out of proportions for someone so young, at 16 after amassing a impressive record of 42-6 with many national titles wins the pressure finally got to him and he hit the bottle. After a particulary wild night of partying he got into a fight and got arrested before being jailed for 4 years for the fight and assaulting one of the arresting officers despite a few scrapes in prison, Dan survived and once out he was blacklisted from the sport he loved and his family wanted nothing to do with him in fact everything he once had in the girls, the money and people caring for him all went leaving him with nothing. Dan lived rough on the streets slowly adapting to his new life making money fighting in bars taking on all comers when one day after a tough fight he was approachd with an offer. On seeing how good Dan was at riling up the crowd whilst beating up his opponent this man offered to train Dan to be a wrestler stating a genuine guy as bad as that is hard to find being a fan from his prison days Dan accepted and since then has been using his mean streak and vicious temperment to aid him in his matches.
