ECCW: Extreme Created Championship Wrestling 21.0

[The fans in attendance give off a mixture of cheers and boos as Remember The Name blares through the speakers. Matt Brooks walks out with a grin on his face and looks around at the fans, nodding his head. He spreads out his arms and embraces the fans’ reaction before proceeding down the ramp. He jumps onto the apron and climbs to the second rope before shouting out at the crowd. He jumps into the ring and grabs a mic before taking a seat in the middle of the ring.]

~Matt Brooks~
“Last night I went through hell with Casey and unfortunately I did not walk out with the Terror World Championship. Now you all may be used to me coming out here and ridiculing you or telling you that you are idiots but the only reason I am out here is to thank Casey Anomaly for such an amazing match last night. That was my first World Championship Match here in ECCW and it was definitely a great experience. My match with Casey was the best match of my career thus far and I would gladly face him again.”

[Brooks looks around with a grin on his face as the fans cheer him.]

~Matt Brooks~
“I do not want to go back to facing the likes of Hunter J after getting so close to winning the Terror World Championship. I want to continue to face the likes of Casey, Angel, Venom and the likes. I am putting the past behind me and finally getting myself back on track. My future is looking bright and right in front of me I can see the Terror World Championship and trust me, it is looking good. However, there is one dark spot in my future that I don’t like the looks of. If I do win the Terror World Championship then there is one person who will always be in my way and that person is Angel. Angel and I are good friends as all of you know but if I am World Champion and he has the Terror Money In The Bank briefcase then that would mean that he would be the top contender. Right now, however, I am not the World Champion and therefore me and Angel are fine.”

[Brooks gets to his feet and looks around at the fans. He walks over to the ropes and leans over the ropes before continuing to speak.]

~Matt Brooks~
“Tonight is the King of the Ring tournament and I feel like I truly have a chance at winning. Since joining ECCW I have been on my way up and apparently winning King of the Ring is a stepping stone on the way to winning a World Championship so I think that I should definitely try my best to win. However, I know that there are a lot of men who will stand in my way of accomplishing this goal but I assure you that I am willing to give this tournament my all and I will put everything into winning and becoming King Brooks.”

[There are some boos coming from the crowd as Brooks smirks at the sound of this name. He takes a few steps back and paces around the ring before resting in the corner and continuing to talk to the fans.]

~Matt Brooks~
“I know a lot of you may not like the sound of that as much as I do but trust me, it will catch on eventually. I am one of the cornerstones of the younger generation and it will be me who is in top of this company in years to come. Whether you people like it or not, I am a future World Champion and sooner or later I am going to accomplish something which I deserve. Whether that be the Terror World Championship or the King of the Ring tournament is regardless, all that matters is that I will finally be recognised for the talent I have. Now I would love to stay and chat but in case you haven’t noticed, I have a tournament to prepare for and that is exactly what I am about to go and do. Hopefully the next time I am out here that announcer is introducing me as King Matt Brooks.”

[Brooks walks forward from the corner as the fans are beginning to heavily boo him. He throws his mic to the outside before spreading his arms out wide. He leaves the ring and shouts something at the fans before walking up the ramp and disappearing backstage.]
