Also, the New Intercontinental Champion Christian teams up with the All American American Jack Swagger to face the team of the loud mouth Mr. Kennedy and the submission expert Daniel Bryan. Which duo will prevail?
From Nitro, Best friends, tag team partners, tag team champions, known World Wide as the Motor City Machine Gun, Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin are going to go one on one in a WWE ring for the first time ever. The match was made by the New GM of Nitro himself, Mark Henry! And, it just have been announced that 6 superstars will compete in an over the top rope battle royal with the winner facing Kofi Kingston for the US Championship next Monday on Nitro!

- It has been made official that John Cena will take on Brock Lesnar in two weeks at the King of the Ring PPV.
- Last night on Nitro, after losing to the Foreign Invasion in a 2 on 1 handicap match, The Rock challenged the Tag Team champions to another match, this time a tag team match with the Rock's partner not being confirmed yet. On behalf of the Foreign Invasion Sheamus has accepted the challenge.
- Next week on Nitro Mickie James will challenge Velvet Sky for the Divas Championship.
- Speaking of the Divas, Beth Phoenix has been suspended for the vicious assault to Trish Stratus last night on Nitro. The WWE doctors have confirmed that Trish Stratus will have the rest of this week as well as the next week off. No word yet on when Beth and Trish are going to face each other again.
- It has been rumored that next week, Randy Orton will take on John Morrison in a Falls Count Anywhere match and Edge will face Alberto Del Rio with the winner receiving a very special contract.
