Zayten arrives at the ECCW arena mere hours before his first ever defense of the ECCW Pure Championship. An interviewer warily approaches.

Interviewer: Uhm . . . M-M-Mister Zayten?

Zayten: Come closer my child . . . you need not fear . . . for I sense . . . a believer.

The interviewer gulps and steps closer.

Zayten: What is it you wished to ask?

Interviewer: W-W-What are your thoughts ahead of tonights match with Michael DeJesus?

Zayten: DeJesus . . . the poor condemned soul . . . he had potenial you know? I truly thought I could make him believe. I will echo what I have said before, the believers will rise to the top as my underlings and the non-believers exist merely as I see fit. Tonight marks the end of the road for DeJesus and the beginning of a new one. His new one is one fabricated by myself and it's a dark twisting path woven by my devilish hands. Where would one such road end? Why, it'll end at my grounds. And then DeJesus will end . . . in my blood-fuelled lust!

The interviewer scurries back as Zayten's eyes glow lightly and his teeth seem more sharpened. All in all he just looks more menacing. He turns slowly to the camera.

Zayten: Beware, take care, because at night . . . THE FREAKS COME OUT TO PLAY!

With an evil laugh Zayten submerges himself into the shadows.

I will be posting the Royal Crumble in three segments for a couple of reasons - a. it gives it a realistic touch and some extra anticipation and b. I am still finalizing the second half.

The first segment will include the first three matches and four scenes.

The second segment will include the next two matches and two scenes.

The third and final segment will include the Royal Crumble match and the concluding scene.

ECCW ROYAL CRUMBLE III

The pyro display begins, as fireworks light up the stage. The crowd is cheering loudly, obviously anxious to see what is in store for ECCW's third annual Royal Crumble event. For the third year, the event will be headlined by the 30-Man Royal Crumble match. The commentators welcome us to the show, as the crowd begins to settle down after hearing the ring bell, as the action is about to begin. With so much on the line, who will rise to the top and who will crumble?

| MATCH ONE |
Doom Championship Triple Threat Match
Evander Rayne [c] vs. Giggles vs. Danny Dyre

Evander Rayne is up against two very talented ECCW upstarts in this match, where he cannot underestimate his opponents. Although a clown and a rapper do not appear as physically imposing as the big champion, their talents cannot be ignored. Giggles, currently ranked at number four in the Doom rankings, was the original number one contender for the title. However, it was later announced that a second contender would be named, which was Danny Dyre, who is ranked at number two in the Doom rankings right now. Towards the end of the match, Evander looked like he was able to maintain the advantage, despite the fact that Giggles and Danny were threatening. Danny was throwing punches at the much larger Evander, who flattened him with one blow. With his attention directed at Danny, Evander never saw it coming as Giggles managed to drop Evander into a crucifix pin, sloppily but effectively. The power of Evander allowed him to kick out in time, as both he and Giggles made it to their feet pretty quickly. Once up, Evander was surprised again by Giggles, who tried for a hurricanrana, but was denied and slammed with a powerbomb instead. In the meantime, Danny has made it to the top rope. Ready to take the ultimate risk, he stood up on the top turnbuckle, ready to fly.

The ring announcer introduces the next contest; a match for the ECCW Pure Championship. First out is the challenger, Michael DeJesus. The ring announcer introduces him as Michael appears to be cocky as ever. He is holding a microphone in one hand. Once the announcer finishes the introduction, he puts it up to his mouth and tells the audio crew to cut the music. He gets on the mic and talks about his opponent, the champion Zayten. He calls him a freak without talent. He says that once you get past the foolish look and fake persona, you realize he isn't that much of a threat. He claims that Zayten's victory over him was nothing but a fluke and that in his match tonight, he will right the wrong of Zayten becoming Pure Champion.

ECCW Pure Championship Match
Zayten [c] vs. Michael DeJesus

The stakes are high in this match, as Zayten has a lot to prove, considering he is still a newcomer in ECCW. Thus far, his run has been impressive. He won the ECCW Pure Championship in his debut match, joining the considerably short list of superstars to have won titles in their first ECCW match. For Michael DeJesus on the other hand, it is put up or shut up. Especially after making such bold statements on the mic before the match, it is time for Michael to walk the walk. In the later portion of the match, Michael was looking good. Bit by bit, he was wearing down Zayten, especially targeting the legs. The momentum shifted completely however when Zayten countered an attempt at a side Russian leg sweep, instead nailing Michael with an elbow and hitting one of his own.

Backstage, an interviewer is shown. He introduces the current ECCW Heavyweight Champion Angel and proceeds to ask him about his match against Surge tonight. Angel calls Surge crazy, but not crazy enough. He claims that no matter how good everybody seems to think Surge is, they're simply underestimating what Angel can do. He says that after tonight, once he beats Surge, people will once and for all realize how good he really is. As a departing message, he tells Surge to expect the unexpected.

ECCW Tag Team Championships Three Way Tag Match
Phil Brilliance & Beau Joist [c] vs. Kevin Evans & Alex Nova vs. Mark Mayhem & Max Mayhem

In this highly anticipated match, just three of ECCW's top tag teams will be participating. In two recent triple threat matches, the respective winners were Phil Brilliance and Alex Nova. However, on this night, it could go any of the three ways. The first segment of the match was controlled mainly by Black and White, the champions. However, the tables soon turned and Mark Mayhem and Max Mayhem, with guidance from their manager Riff Radley, took control.

Evander Rayne meanwhile after retaining his DOOM world title , and not losing it since the first DOOM show is staring at his title while it sits on his table . He has been undefeated in competition except for a DQ in his match last week.

ECCW Heavyweight Championship Match
Angel [c] vs. Surge

In the first world title match of the night, there is a lot on the line. Surge was declared the number one contender following a tournament on Terror which was created to crown the next challenger for Angel's ECCW Heavyweight title. With Angel's relationship with Casey Anomaly in an unknown state and with Surge's constant unpredictability, Angel must have quite a bit on his mind headed into the match. As expected, the match was turning out to be a great one. Towards the end of it, Angel appeared to be in some trouble.

After the match, Matt and Deacon entered the ring and celebrated briefly with Angel before directing their attention to Surge, who is just recovering. Angel commands them as they begin to pick apart Surge. On the attack, all three men begin throwing punches and kicking, bringing Surge right back down to the mat. At that moment, Roger Studley and Big Roy came running to the ring. Sliding in, they stand there face to face with Angel, Matt, and Deacon. Inaudible words are spoken and all five turn their heads to Surge. Soon, it is a five on one attack, continuing until the Disciples see fit. Once done, the five smirk at their work and head to the back.

ECCW World Championship
Jarrett Calloway [c] vs. Dustin Shore

This match has a very interesting backstory; Dustin Shore won the Royal Crumble two years ago, while Jarrett Calloway won it last year. Now this year, the two are going at it for the most prestigious title today at the same event they've both had great success at. But tonight, only one man will emerge as the champion. In the closing moments of the match, things looked like they were still down the middle; the entire match was mainly back and forth.

Dustin Shore is clearly very happy with his showing as he celebrates with the ECCW World Championship. He looks almost as surprised as everyone else. Once he is through celebrating in the ring, he takes his new title and heads up the ramp and to the back. His music stops and Jarrett is left in the ring to think things over, but not for long. Within seconds, Harry Jones' music hits. With a big smirk on his face, Harry Jones makes his way onto the stage. He mocks Jarrett and says that now instead of having a simple all-in-one goal of beating Jarrett to win the ECCW World Championship, he now has two goals. He says that first and foremost, he will defeat Jarrett one on one, fair and square whenever the opportunity presents itself. Secondly, he says he will become the ECCW World Champion, not caring who holds the title. He says that his journey begins tonight, where he will win the Royal Crumble match. He then holds up a small white ball with a black number one on it. He says that he will be entering first into the Crumble but says he is ready to overcome the odds. As Harry reaches the steps, Jarrett is exiting the ring. They both stare each other down for a moment before Harry enters the ring and Jarrett heads up the ramp.

Casey is backstage after the Crumble pissed things didn't go the way he wanted. He knocks over a bunch of shit in anger before calming himself. He tell's himself there will be other chances to get his finger's around Angel's scrawny neck. While walking backstage he asks a crew member to show him some of the clips from Angel's match to see if he won or not. Casey would have been paying attention but he was too engrossed in his pre-match ritual of blocking off the rest of the world via his headphones. When he sees what transpires after the match his jaw nearly hits the floor. And all of that rage he had just gotten rid of boils right back up again. He turns out of the room and as if by luck Will Williams is walking down the hallway. Casey can tell by the way hes walking he looks pissed.

"I'm guessing you just saw what happened to Surge right? Now it gives you more reason to kick Angel's teeth down his throat, huh?"
