ECCW Crush Results — Friday, February 15, 2013 — Episode 189: No Love Here

The arena turns green as the pyro display hits, fireworks lighting up the stage. The fans are excited for another Friday night of action.

A recap of last week's episode of Crush is aired.

The ECCW CEO Matthew Jericho comes out to open the show. His appearance is only partially surprising, as his presence was expected after last week's announcement that he would be on tonight's edition of Crush. What exactly he will address remains a mystery up until the point that he begins speaking. He welcomes all of the fans to the show, which promises to be a good one. He also reminds everyone that Heavy Metal is right around the corner, just two days away. It is the final pay-per-view before the grandest of them all, Slam-Mania. He talks about how important a time of the year this is in ECCW, for everybody involved. He says that he wants to make sure that everybody has a chance to secure their Slam-Mania moment. He then turns to other orders of business, stating that he is aware of Harry Jones' goal to find a dirty way of entering an elimination chamber match at Heavy Metal. He says that one of the reasons that he is at Crush tonight is to make sure that the rest of management has a definitive plan to counter these attempts. In the meantime, Jericho says that he will be giving Harry Jones something to keep himself busy with at Heavy Metal: a match with Adam Jones, who halted what would have been a brutal attack by Harry Jones on Peter Linch last week. Knowing that this double books Adam Jones, Jericho says that he has already spoken to Mr. Money in the Bank who has no issue with competing twice. Finally, he says that there will be a strong management and security presence at Heavy Metal to put an end to any attempts by anybody to disrupt the show. With that, he thanks the fans for their time and attention and hopes that they all enjoy the remainder of the program.

Backstage, Matthew Maddox is shown walking down a hallway with a graphic in the lower left reading "up next." The commentators say that he is looking to go 5-0 tonight, while his opponent will be hoping to stop him at 4.

COMMERCIAL BREAK

It is announced that the night's main event will be Peter Linch and Adam Jones versus Harry Jones and Ryan McKinnon.

Match 1: Matthew Maddox defeated Ricky Lackett by pinfall at 8:06.
In his fifth televised ECCW match, Matthew Maddox impressed yet again with a decisive pinfall victory over ECCW regular Ricky Lackett.

Backstage, an interviewer is standing by with Peter Linch. Considering the big main event announcement for tonight, he asks Linch what he thinks about Adam Jones, his apparent tag team partner. Linch says that he honestly say no idea what to think. If he were asked this question up until a week ago, he'd be able to give a decisive answer that he would want no part of tagging with Jones. However, despite being bitter rivals, the fact that Adam Jones saved him from an attack by Harry Jones while Ryan McKinnon stood by doing nothing, Linch says that his mind is in a definite state of confusion. Whether or not he likes Adam Jones is debatable but he says that he will work with him if his partner is willing to do the same.

COMMERCIAL BREAK

A Wednesday Night Doom recap is aired.

Match 2: Keith Copeland defeated Christian Storm by pinfall at 14:40.
The newly-repackaged Keith Copeland put up an impressive fight, but so did Christian Storm. The ECCW Legend's Champion Ali Fernando was at ringside as a special guest commentator for the match.

Laughing at Christian Storm's loss, Ali Fernando entered the ring looking for a blindside attack for the second week in a row. In a familiar yet surprising turn of events, Storm repeated his actions from last week to put Fernando away, knocking him out of the ring. Despite his loss, Storm gets to stand tall yet again over Fernando.

Backstage, Christopher Styles and Oliver Walker are shown in their locker room. They seem to be having a mild disagreement. Despite their clashing attitudes, they both recognize that they have been knocked off the path to success. Walker tells Styles to let him be just for the night and see what happens without him at ringside during a match. Styles does not see the point in not accompanying his partner to the ring, but sarcastically permits the younger Walker to have his way.

COMMERCIAL BREAK

Match 3: Alex Nova and Zack Horror defeated Trenton York and Sean Shamrock by pinfall (Horror over Shamrock) at 15:13.
This match had a little bit of everything; an elimination chamber participant, a battle royal participant, and two former partners turned bitter enemies. Zack Horror picked up the pin on Sean Shamrock to earn his team the win.

A video package highlighting the best moments from past elimination chamber matches in ECCW is aired. It also covers the rules of the match.

COMMERCIAL BREAK

Match 4: Omega defeated Oliver Walker by pinfall at 10:32.
Omega, one of the biggest threats to take Will Williams' ECCW World Championship at Heavy Metal, had a dominating performance over Oliver Walker. Christopher Styles followed Walker's wishes and never showed up during the match.

COMMERCIAL BREAK

Match 5: Twista XL defeated Angel by pinfall at 17:17.
The 2013 Royal Crumble winner Twista XL prevailed over fellow ECCW veteran Angel in a hard fought, back and forth contest.

Backstage, Dustin Shore is shown joking around with a crew member when Will Williams approaches him, the ECCW World Championship on his person. Williams gets Shore's attention by slapping him on the back. The crew member takes this as his cue to leave. Shore seems to be in good spirits in the confrontation, as does Williams, though he has his usual snarky attitude. Williams asks how it must feel to have to enter an elimination chamber where the other competitors all hate you. Shore jokes that it's just another day for him, but Williams clarifies that he doesn't hate Shore; he just hates the fact that he has to beat such a nice guy. Shore tells him "we'll see" and Williams walks off, seemingly satisfied with the answer.

COMMERCIAL BREAK

Match 6: Harry Jones and Ryan McKinnon defeated Adam Jones and Peter Linch by pinfall (Jones over Linch) at 22:26.
The match just about defined back and forth action. It was a surprise HKO from Harry Jones that caught an otherwise distracted Peter Linch off guard and sealed the deal.

Know that it will be a little while longer for the show to be finalized and put up. Also know that I'm still working on it and will not stop doing so until it's to my liking. The "transformation" is looking to be an overnight thing.
