World Wrestling Entertainment ~ A Kubz Production - Page 4 Otlposter
May 20th 2012

[Over The Limit comes on the air with War of Change blaring through the speakers. Pyro explodes on the stage as the camera sweeps through the crowd. The fans hold up many signs but the majority of them are for CM Punk and John Cena. The camera sweeps over to the RAW commentary booth as Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler welcome us to the show before moving over to the Smackdown commentary booth as Matt Striker and Josh Mathews do the same. We cut back to the ring as the first match is set to get underway.]

Lilian Garcia: “The following match set for one fall is for the United States Championship!”

Veil Of Fire!

Lilian Garcia: “Introducing first from Parts Unknown and weighing 323lb, Kane!”

[The lights go out and fire begins to bellow from the minitron to the titantron before Kane’s music blares through the speakers. When the lights come back on, Kane is standing on the stage with his big silver mask on. He slowly walks down the ramp, ignoring the booing fans the entire time. He grabs the top rope and steps onto the apron before entering the ring over the top rope. He stands in the centre of the ring and looks around before raising his arms and throwing them down as fire erupts from the four corners of the ring. He takes off the silver mask and throws it to the outside before awaiting his opponent.]

La Vittoria E Mia, E Mia!

Lilian Garcia: “Introducing his opponent from Calabria, Italy and weighing 233lb, he is the current United States Champion, Santino Marella!”

[Santino Marella runs out onto the stage with his arms in the air and the United States Championship around his waist to many cheers from the crowd. He looks out at the crowd as he powerwalks down the ramp and then around the ring before rolling in. He climbs to the second rope and raises his arm in the air to cheers from the crowd before jumping down. He hands over his United States Championship and takes off his shirt, throwing it to the outside.]

Kane v Santino Marella©

[The bell rings and Kane goes straight for Santino but Santino does his best to avoid Kane, making sure to keep his distance. Kane goes for a boot to Santino but Santino drops to all fours and crawls away but Kane turns and grabs him by his singlet. He drags Santino back and picks him up before throwing him into the corner. Kane charges at him for a clothesline but Santino moves out of the way and runs off the ropes before hitting Kane with a clothesline of his own but Kane just turns and stares at Santino. Santino looks at Kane in fear before dropping to the mat and rolling out of the ring.]

Matt Striker: “Santino was smart to get out of the way there but I don’t think he’s going to stay out there for long!“

Josh Mathews: “I don’t think he’s got a choice Matt, Kane is already hot on the heels of the United States Champion!”

[Santino slides back in the ring and Kane is in moments after him but before he can get up Santino runs over and knocks him back out of the ring with a baseball slide. Kane is quick to get back to his feet and Santino’s actions appear to have just angered him even more. He gets in the ring and goes straight after Santino, who does his best to avoid his opponent. However, the chase doesn’t last long as Kane is quick to corner Santino and begins to hit him with a flurry of shots to the chest and midsection.]

Josh Mathews: “Santino has done the one thing he probably shouldn’t have; angered the giant.”

Matt Striker: “Indeed he has Josh and the giant is now taking out his anger on his much smaller opponent.“

[Kane backs up a little, giving the referee time to check that Santino can continue. Santino stumbles forward and walks right into a big boot from Kane. Kane drops down to his knees and makes the cover but Santino kicks out at 2. Kane gets to his feet and Santino begins crawling towards the ropes. Santino reaches them and uses them to drag himself to his feet. He leans against the ropes and motions for Kane to bring the fight. Kane lets out a slight chuckle before charging at Santino. Santino ducks underneath an attack from Kane and pulls down the top rope, sending Kane reeling to the outside.]

Josh Mathews: “Great ring awareness from Santino there and he may have just saved the match right there!”

[Santino shakes his head, trying to shake off the cobwebs, as Kane holds his shoulder in pain on the outside. The referee gets to a count of 5 before Kane manages to get to his feet and roll back in the ring. He gets to his feet and throws a wild right at Santino but Santino drops into the splits, dodging the punch. Santino throws out a leg and trips up Kane, bringing him down to a knee. Santino kicks him in the side of the head, which sends him down to the mat, before hooking the leg for a close count.]

Matt Striker: “Santino finally managing to gain some offense here and I have to admit, I did not see this coming!“

[Both men get back to their feet right after the count but Kane is still a little dazed from the quick attack from Santino. Santino goes for a low dropkick but Kane moves his leg just in time and Santino is now in danger. Kane drops his foot on the neck of Santino and begins to choke him. The referee starts the five count and at the count of four Kane removes his boot and Santino begins to choke for air. Kane wastes little time and begins to stomp away at the chest of Santino before dropping down and choking Santino with his hand.]

Matt Striker: “Kane is getting into the zone here; he has Santino right where he wants him!“

Josh Mathews: “Just as it started to look like Santino was in control, Kane has turned it right around and now looks to have complete control of the match.”

[Kane gets up to his feet and stalks Santino, who is punching the mat in pain as he holds his throat with his other hand. Kane grabs him by the head and drags him to his feet before grabbing him by the throat and lifting him up for the Chokeslam. Santino manages to get free and lands behind Kane. He quickly reaches into his singlet and puts on his Cobra before setting it up and going to strike but Kane catches it before grabbing Santino’s throat with his other hand and hoisting him into the air before slamming him back down with a huge Chokeslam. Kane drops down to his knees and hooks the leg of Santino for the 1..2..3!]

DING! DING! DING!

Lilian Garcia: “Ladies and Gentlemen here is your winner and the NEEEEEWWW United States Champion, Kane!”

[Kane gets to his feet and pulls at his glove before being handed the United States Championship. He raises it high in the air with one hand before laying it down on the mat. He puts his arms in the air and throws them down as fire erupts from the four corners. The arena goes dark except for a light orange tint, the shade of fire. He picks up his Championship and flips over the top rope before throwing it over his shoulder. He heads up the ramp as we are left with the image of Santino lying in pain in the ring.]

~

[We open up in the Interview area as Eden Stiles stands alongside Daniel Bryan.]

Eden Stiles: “Daniel tonight you face Big Show for the Intercontinental Championship. Many are saying you have gotten into Big Show’s head but Big Show disputes these claims and still firmly believes that he will defeat you tonight and retain his Intercontinental Championship. What’s your opinion on all of this?”

Daniel Bryan: “I am the greatest wrestler this company has and Big Show is just big. Big Show has no wrestling ability and the only reason he is the current Intercontinental Champion is because he managed to face a guy about half his height. Tonight I am going to prove that ability trumps size any day. I am going to walk out of here with the Intercontinental Championship and Big Show is going to realise that his career is just about up!”

[Bryan begins to shout “YES” at the top of his voice and walks off down the corridor pointing in the air and continuing to scream “YES”.]

~

Justin Roberts: “The following match is scheduled for one fall!”

This Right Here Is Domination!

Justin Roberts: “Introducing first from Guyana, South America and weighing 270lb, Ezekiel Jackson!”

[The fans give a small amount of cheers as Ezekiel Jackson walks out onto the stage. He stops at the top of the ramp and flexes his muscles for the camera before raising his arm in the air and proceeding down the ramp. He runs up the steps and enters the ring before flexing his muscles once again.]

Shrine!

Justin Roberts: “Introducing his opponent from Japan and weighing 360lb, Lord Tensai!”

[Sakamoto walks out onto the stage as the fans begin to boo. He throws something in the air before stepping aside and bowing his head as Lord Tensai walks out with a shawl covering his face and his red robe on. He walks down the ramp as Sakamoto follows from behind, not looking up once. Sakamoto gets onto the apron and opens a gap between the top and middle ropes, allowing Tensai to enter the ring. Sakamoto stands behind Tensai and takes his robe off before Tensai rips off the shawl covering his face. Sakamoto leaves the ring with Tensai’s entrance attire as this match is set to get underway.]

Ezekiel Jackson v Lord Tensai w/ Sakamoto

[Both men lock up in the centre of the ring as soon as the bell rings. Jackson manages to gain a slight advantage but before he can get Tensai in a headlock, Tensai shoves him away. Jackson turns back around but is met by a chop to the throat. Jackson falls to the mat, clutching his throat in pain. Tensai wastes little time and gets Jackson back to his feet before hitting a suplex. Tensai makes the cover but Jackson is quick to kick out and both men are soon back on their feet.]

Jerry Lawler: “A fast paced start to this match and neither man can seem to get the upper hand!”

Michael Cole: “I think Lord Tensai is toying with Ezekiel Jackson King, just you wait and see.”

[Tensai spins around and goes to elbow Jackson but Jackson sees it coming and catches it before lifting him up for a back body drop. Tensai manages to elbow Jackon in the head and Jackson has to release his grip, causing Tensai to drop back down to his feet on the mat. Tensai turns and headbutts Jackson, causing Jackson to stumble back dazed. Tensai charges at him and hits a running crossbody on Jackson. He hooks the leg but Jackson once again kicks out.]

Michael Cole: “Tensai completely dominating Jackson right here!”

[Jackson gets back to his feet but Tensai was waiting on him and goes to kick Jackson. Jackson catches it and lifts Tensai up before slamming him down with a spinebuster. Jackson takes a step back as Tensai slowly makes his way back to his feet. As soon as he is up Jackson grabs him and looks to be going for the Book of Ezekiel but Tensai gets free and kicks Jackson in the back of the leg. Sakamoto jumps up onto the apron, distracting the referee, as Tensai spits green mist into the eyes of a recovering Jackson. Tensai grabs Jackson’s head, locking in the Clawhold and bringing Jackson down to the mat. Tensai keeps the hold locked on tight and Jackson’s shoulders eventually slump to the mat as the referee counts the 1..2..3!]

DING! DING! DING!

Justin Roberts: “Here is your winner, Lord Tensai!”

[Tensai releases his hold on Jackson and gets to his feet. He takes a look at Jackson before turning and leaving the ring.]

Lilian Garcia: “The following match is set for one fall and it is for the Intercontinental Championship!”

Flight Of The Valkyries!

Lilian Garcia: “Introducing first from Aberdeen, Washington and weighing 210lb, Daniel Bryan!”

[An enormous amount of “YES” chants breakout throughout the crowd as Daniel Bryan runs out onto the stage. He stops on the stage and repeatedly thrusts his arms upwards. He runs down the ramp sideways, still pointing upwards the entire time. He slides in the ring and gets onto the second rope and finishes off pointing upwards. He jumps down and listens to the crowd chanting as he waits for his opponent.]

Weeeeellll, Well It’s The Big Show!

Lilian Garcia: “Introducing his opponent from Tampa, Florida and weighing 441lb, he is the current Intercontinental Champion, Big Show!”

[Big Show storms out onto the stage to cheers from the crowd. He raises his arm into the air and grins out to the fans as he slowly makes his way down the ramp. He walks up the steps and enters the ring over the top rope before raising his Intercontinental Championship into the air. He hands it over to the referee before standing opposite Bryan and waiting for the bell.]

Daniel Bryan v Big Show ©

[Show charges at Bryan as soon as the bell rings but Bryan is quick to move out of the way and runs across to the other side of the ring. Show turns and charges at him again but Bryan once again moves out of the way and this time retreats out of the ring. Show charges out of the ring and chases Bryan around the ring but Bryan slides back in and waits for Show to begin making his way in but Bryan meets him with a dropkick which sends Show toppling to the outside.]

Matt Striker: “That was smart of Daniel Bryan there, making sure that the big man doesn’t get back in.”

Michael Cole: “It was very smart indeed Matt but he better make sure that Big Show doesn’t get counted out or he won’t win the Championship!”

[Bryan begins getting the crowd chanting “YES” once again as Show gets back to his feet on the outside. He steps onto the apron and Bryan charges at him to knock him down but Show grabs his head before headbutting him, sending him down to the mat. Show steps over the top rope and gets in the ring as Bryan scurries over to the corner. He goes to leave the ring but Show grabs him and drags him back before he has the chance. Show gets Bryan to his feet before picking him up and sending him back down to the mat with a powerslam.]

Matt Striker: “Oh, that must have hurt! Bryan appears to be in pain but Big Show is wasting no time feeling sorry for Bryan.”

[Show gets Bryan back to his feet and grabs Bryan by the throat, looking to go for the Chokeslam. As Show lifts Bryan, Bryan gets free and drops down behind Show. He begins to kick away at Show’s leg but Show just turns and shoves Bryan back. Bryan rebounds off the ropes and hits a dropkick to Show’s leg, bringing him down to two knees. Bryan begins to unload with kick after kick to Show’s body. To finish it off, Bryan hits a big kick to the side of Show’s head before making a cover.]

Michael Cole: “Show kicks out at two and a half! I thought Bryan had him there but Show managed to get his weight under Bryan.”

[Bryan gets back to his feet and goes to stomp on Show’s head but Show catches Bryan’s boot before throwing him up in the air, causing Bryan to fall on his back. Both men get back to their feet at the same time and Show charges at Bryan for a spear but Bryan sees it coming and moves out of the way, grabbing Show’s arm in the process. Bryan uses Show’s own momentum to get him down to the mat and just lock in the Yes Lock. Show’s arm bends awkwardly and he manages to get his boot underneath the bottom rope just before he taps out. The referee doesn’t see his boot and calls for the bell instead.]

DING! DING! DING!

Lilian Garcia: “Here is your winner and the NEEEEWWW Intercontinental Champion, Daniel Bryan!”

[Bryan jumps to his feet as he is announced the winner and does a victory lap, screaming “YES” as loud as he can. The crowd continue this chant as he is handed the Intercontinental Championship. He climbs to the second rope and lifts the Championship into the air to a huge chorus of “YES” chants from the crowd.]

~

[We open up in the parking lot area as a sports car comes speeding in and comes to an abrupt halt next to the entrance door. The door opens and Brock Lesnar steps out to a both cheers and boos from the crowd. He walks inside and a crew worker runs up to him and tells him his locker room is next to John Laurinaitis’ office. Lesnar walks off in that direction as the scene fades.]

~

Justin Roberts: “The following match set for one fall is for the Divas Championship!”

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Justin Roberts: “Introducing first from Parts Unknown, Kharma!”

[There are loud cheers audible throughout the crowd as Kharma slowly walks out onto the stage. She stops and unclips her shoulder pads before dropping them to the ground and continuing on down the ramp. She walks up the steps and enters the ring before standing in the centre. She throws her hair back and finally lifts up her head, looking out to the fans before stepping back and awaiting her opponent.]

Glamazon!

Justin Roberts: “Introducing her opponent from Buffalo, New York, she is the current Divas Champion, Beth Phoenix!”

[As soon as Beth Phoenix’s music hits, the fans begin to boo. The boos just grow as Beth walks out onto the stage with the Divas Championship around her waist. She proceeds down the ramp, not once taking her eyes off of her opponent in the ring. Beth walks up the steps and climbs to the second rope before getting into a seated position and raising the Divas Championship in the air with both hands. She flips down and lands on her feet in the ring, handing over her Championship to the referee.]

Kharma v Beth Phoenix ©

[When the bell rings Kharma shows no sign of moving, instead she stays fixated on the spot just staring at Beth. Beth begins edging forwards and goes to hit Kharma but Kharma catches her hand and throws her back. Beth gets back to her feet and stares across at Beth in disbelief. Beth charges at Kharma and goes to knock her down but Kharma does not move. Beth takes a few steps back and goes again but once again Kharma does not move. Beth goes back across the ring and stands, staring at Kharma in frustration.]

Michael Cole: “Kharma is like an immovable object, I have never seen Beth at such a disadvantage.”

Jerry Lawler: “Kharma is definitely a worthy opponent for Beth and I think this may be Beth’s last night as Champion!”

[Kharma begins moving towards Beth but Beth moves from her position and moves behind Kharma. Kharma turns and grabs Beth by the throat, keeping a tight grip on her. Beth hits Kharma’s arm over and over again, trying to get her to release her grip, but Kharma just tightens her hold. Kharma throws Beth back and Beth holds onto the rope, grasping for breath. Beth looks over at Kharma and shakes her head before dropping to the mat and rolling out of the ring. Beth grabs her Championship from ringside and walks around the side of the ring and begins making her way up the ramp.]

Jerry Lawler: “Where the hell does Beth think she’s going? She has a match to finish!”

Michael Cole: “I think Beth has had enough King and who can blame her!”

[Beth stops at the top of the stage as the referee reaches a count of six. Kharma stands in the ring and stares out at Beth, not even blinking. Beth stands on the stage, the Divas Championship draped over her shoulder, as the referee finishes his ten count and rings the bell.]

DING! DING! DING!

Justin Roberts: “Here is your winner as a result of a countout, Kharma! However, STILLL Divas Champion, Beth Phoenix!”

[Beth grins down at Kharma as she stands in the ring staring back at her. Beth mockingly waves to Kharma before turning and heading backstage. Kharma turns around to the referee who is about to leave the ring. She grabs him and pulls him to the centre of the ring before nailing him with her Bad Kharma Implant Buster. She remains on the ground, kneeling, and throws her head back before laughing maniacally. The fans chant her name as she gets to her feet and leaves the ring.]

Justin Roberts: “The following match set for one fall is for the World Heavyweight Championship!”

Somebody’s Gonna Get Their Ass Kicked!

Justin Roberts: “Introducing first from Silsbee, Texas and weighing 412lb, “The World’s Strongest Man” Mark Henry!”

[There are audible boos as Mark Henry walks out onto the stage, blocking the camera behind him. He stares out at the crowd with a slight grin on his face as he slowly stomps down the ramp. He walks up the steps and enters the ring before raising both arms in the air. He steps back into the corner and leans there, waiting for his opponent.]

It’s A Shame For They Lost Their Head!

Justin Roberts: “Introducing his opponent from Dublin, Ireland and weighing 267lb, he is the current World Heavyweight Champion, Sheamus!”

[The boos turn to cheers as Sheamus walks out onto the stage with the World Heavyweight Championship wrapped around his waist. He beats his chest a few times before spreading his arms out wide and walking down the ramp. He gets in the ring and hands over his Championship before standing opposite Henry.]

Mark Henry v Sheamus ©

[Sheamus and Henry go right at it as soon as the bell rings and begin trading blows straight away. Henry obviously has the size advantage and overpowers Sheamus, knocking him down with a hard right hand. Sheamus is quick to get back up but as soon as he is on his feet Henry takes him down with a hard clothesline. Henry runs off the ropes and goes for a splash on Sheamus but Sheamus wisely moves out of the way. Henry hits the mat hard and Sheamus gets him on his back before making the cover but only to get a one count.]

Matt Striker: “Henry using his sheer size to try and over power Sheamus here but Sheamus may be able to overcome Henry’s size with his own brute strength!”

[Sheamus gets up and, as Henry begins getting to his feet, goes to hit him with the Brogue Kick but Henry catches Sheamus’ boot and throws him back. Henry gets to his feet and catches Sheamus as he charges at him before slamming him down with a powerslam. Henry grabs Sheamus by the head and drags him to his feet before grabbing him by the throat with both hands. Henry goes to lift him up but Sheamus pulls Henry’s arms off of him before grabbing him by the waist and lifting him up, throwing him back down with a spinebuster. The fans cheer as Sheamus makes the cover but Henry is quick to count out at the count of two.]

Michael Cole: “It looks like you were right Matt, somehow Sheamus has managed to overpower the much bigger man.”

Matt Striker: “I told you Michael, Sheamus‘ brute strength may well be enough to secure him the victory here tonight.”

[Sheamus gets to his feet and takes a step back as Henry rises. Henry gets to his feet and both men once again begin to trade blows. Sheamus gets the upper hand and hits Henry with multiple right hands before taking a step back and taking down the bigger man with a massive double forearm smash. Henry hits the mat hard and Sheamus drops down on top of him to make the cover but Henry is once again able to kickout at 2. Sheamus gets to his feet and begins to repeatedly beat his chest over and over again as Henry begins rising. Henry gets to his feet and Sheamus charges at him, nailing him with the Brogue Kick. Henry falls to the mat and Sheamus drops down on top of him to make the cover 1..2..3!]

DING! DING! DING!

Justin Roberts: “Here is your winner and STIIIILLL World Heavyweight Champion, Sheamus!“

[Sheamus gets to his feet and has his hand rasied in victory as he is announced the victor. He takes the World Heavyweight Championship from the referee before climbing to the second rope and raising it high in the air. He jumps down and turns into a massive spear from Brock Lesnar. Lesnar pulls Sheamus to his feet before getting him up on his shoulders and nailing the F5. Lesnar picks up the World Heavyweight Championship and raises it high in the air while standing above the fallen body of Sheamus. Lesnar lays the Championship across the chest of Sheamus before leaving the ring and heading backstage.]

[CM Punk walks down the corridor in his ring gear, heading towards the stage entrance. He goes to turn the corner but is met by John Laurinaitis. Laurinaitis stands with his hands in his pockets, staring down at Punk.]

John Laurinaitis: “Punk I just wanted to come and wish you luck for your match tonight. I like to think that our differences have been put inside so I wanted to do what good friends do and wish you luck for your match.”

[Laurinaitis extends his hand while grinning at Punk. Punk looks at his hand and just shakes his head.]

CM Punk: “You really are a big idiot aren’t you? I’m going to go out there and I’m going to beat Dolph Ziggler and then tomorrow night I’m going to remind you exactly why I don’t like you.”

[Punk barges past Laurinaitis and continues on down the corridor as Laurinaitis glares after him.]

~

Justin Roberts: “The following match is set for one fall!”

I’m Here To Show The World, I’m Here To Show The World!

Justin Roberts: “Introducing first from Hollywood, California and weighing 213lb, Dolph Ziggler!”

[There are heavy boos emanating from the crowd as Dolph Ziggler runs out onto the stage with Vickie Guerrero walking out behind him. Ziggler stands on the stage and pulls his hair back before throwing it forward. He struts down the ramp as Vickie brings up the rear, applauding Dolph and grinning around at the fans. Dolph jumps up on the apron and gets in the ring before climbing to the second rope. He raises his arms in the air and screams out to the fans before jumping down. He stands in the corner and crouches down, talking to Vickie on the outside.]

Look In My Eyes, What Do You See? Cult Of Personality!

Justin Roberts: “Introducing his opponent from Chicago, Illionois and weighing 218lb, CM Punk!”

[The boos the fans gave for Dolph turn into massive cheers as CM Punk runs out onto the stage. He drops down to one knee and rubs the ground before clasping his hands around his mouth and shouting out “it’s clobbering time” before getting back to his feet. He spreads his arms out and turns around before walking backwards down the ramp. He turns and jumps onto the apron before climbing to the second rope. He looks in at Ziggler before jumping in the ring and standing opposite him.]

Dolph Ziggler w/ Vickie Guerrero v CM Punk

[As soon as the bell rings both men charge at each other and begin throwing punches at each other and the fans are divided between the two, making different noises as each throws a punch. Punk takes control and backs Dolph up with multiple rights to the face. Dolph is backed up against the corner and Punk goes to kick Dolph but Dolph catches his boot and throws him back. Dolph quickly takes the opportunity and charges at Punk before knocking him down with a big dropkick.]

Michael Cole: “A picture perfect dropkick from Dolph Ziggler right there, square on the jaw of CM Punk!”

Jerry Lawler: “I hate to agree with you Cole but Ziggler got it right on the dot!”

[Dolph gets back to his feet and waits for Punk to get back up before dragging him into the corner. He climbs to the second rope and begins to punch Punk’s head over and over again before Punk finally manages to get underneath Ziggler and throw him down to the mat. Dolph is quick to get back to his feet and throws a wild right at Punk but he ducks underneath it before hitting Dolph with a right of his own. Punk begins to unload but Dolph fights back and soon enough we have a back and forth brawl on our hands.]

Jerry Lawler: “You can tell that this match is about more than just the victory, neither of these men are going easy on the other.”

[Punk takes control and whips Dolph across the ring before smashing his knee into his midsection. Dolph flips over Punk’s knee and lands hard on his back. Punk makes the cover but Dolph is quick to kick out and Punk gets his opponent back to his feet. Punk throws Dolph into the corner and charges at him for his signature knee to the head but Dolph moves out of the way and Punk smashes against the top turnbuckle. Punk hops down and is hobbling on his bad knee as he turns into a big superkick from Dolph. Dolph drops down and top of Punk and makes the cover, only to get a two count.]

Michael Cole: “Dolph Ziggler is starting to gain control of the match here, capitalising off of a stupid mistake of CM Punk’s.”

[Dolph gets back to his feet and stalks Punk, waiting for him to get up. Punk begins rising and Dolph goes to hit him with the Namedropper but Punk manages to avoid it, causing Ziggler to hit the mat hard. He begins to get to his feet but as soon as he is at a vertical base Punk knocks him right back down with a big kick to the side of the head. Punk falls down on top of Dolph and hooks the leg for a count of two.]

Michael Cole: “This is such a back and forth match, this one could go either way!”

Jerry Lawler: “It’s definitely going to be a close call Cole but whoever wins will thoroughly deserve it.”

[Both men take their time getting back to their feet. Dolph throws the first punch but Punk sees it coming before ducking underneath and getting Dolph up on his shoulders. Punk throws Dolph up for the GTS but Ziggler manages to land behind Punk. Dolph jumps up and goes for the Zig Zag but Punk manages to keep on his feet and Dolph lands on the mat. Dolph is quickly back to his feet and Punk runs off the ropes but before he can rebound, Vickie grabs his foot and trips him up. The referee runs over and begins shouting at Vickie to get out. This serves as a distraction and Dolph low blows Punk before nailing him with the Zig Zag. The referee turns around in time to see Dolph make the cover and counts the 1..2..3!]

DING! DING! DING!

Lilian Garcia: “Here is your winner, Dolph Ziggler!”

[Dolph gets to his feet, laughing as he is announced the winner. He jumps to the second rope and raises his arm in the air as Vickie gets in the ring, applauding Dolph. Dolph jumps down but he and Vickie quickly flee out of the ring as Punk gets to his feet, holding his groin in pain. Punk leans against the ropes and stares out at Dolph and Vickie as they back up the ramp, mockingly waving at Punk.]

~

[We open up in the Interview area as Eden Stiles stands next to an exhausted looking Dolph Ziggler and Vickie Guerrero, who stands applauding Dolph.]

Eden Stiles: “Dolph moments ago you defeated CM Punk in what may well have been your greatest match yet. Many people did not expect you to win tonight but now that you have proved all of them wrong what do you have to say to them?”

Dolph Ziggler: “What do I have to say to them? Nothing! I don’t have to say nothing to somebody that doesn’t believe in me. Now that I have proved that I am the best wrestler in the world I am aiming for much higher things. I am a future World Champion and soon enough all of you will believe it!”

[Ziggler winks at Stiles before walking off with Vickie, screaming in victory on his way.]

~

Lilian Garcia: “The following match set for one fall is for the WWE Championship!”

You Can’t See Me, My Time Is Now!

Lilian Garcia: “Introducing first from West Newburry, Massachussetts and weighing 251lb, John Cena!”

[The fans are split down the middle for John Cena as he runs out to his music. He runs to the edge of the stage and throws his arms in the air to a loud pop before running back over to the top of the ramp. He says something into the camera before turning and saluting to the crowd. He runs down the ramp and slides in the ring before jumping to his feet and throwing his arms in the air once again to another pop from the crowd.]

Break The Walls Down!

Lilian Garcia: “Introducing his opponent from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada and weighing 226lb, he is the current WWE Champion, Chris Jericho!”

[All the lights in the arena go out and the fans begin to boo as they know what’s coming next. Jericho walks out onto the stage wearing his lit up jacket and spreads out his arms before the lights come back on. Pyro explodes on the stage and Jericho throws off the jacket , showing off the WWE Championship around his waist. He slowly walks down the ramp before walking up the steps and getting in the ring.]

John Cena v Chris Jericho ©

[Cena and Jericho lock up in the centre with Cena looking to gain the advantage but Jericho begins to kick away at Cena’s leg until he releases his hold. Jericho proceeds to run off the ropes and goes for a forearm shot but Cena catches it and shoves Jericho back before taking him down with a shoulder block. Jericho quickly gets back to his feet but is taken back down with a clothesline from Cena. Cena gets Jericho back to his feet and nails him with a suplex before making the cover only to get a one count.]

Michael Cole: “Cena taking early control here by literally overpowering his smaller opponent.”

Matt Striker: “Don’t count Jericho out just because of his size though Michael, he hasn’t gotten to his current stature by doing nothing.“

[Cena stalks Jericho and waits for him to get back up before going to grab him. Jericho sees him coming and snaps round, kicking him hard in the leg. Cena doubles over and Jericho knees him in the face. Cena stumbles back and Jericho takes him down with a dropkick that lands right on the jaw of Cena. Jericho makes the cover but Cena is quick to kick out and both men are back to their feet almost instantly. Jericho is first to make a move and goes to kick Cena but Cena catches it before turning it into a powerslam. ]

Matt Striker: “Ohh, that’s got to hurt! A big powerslam from the challenger to Jericho!”

Michael Cole: “Jericho just can’t get a break in this match, Cena’s strength has completely dominated Jericho.”

[Cena gets Jericho back to his feet and lifts him up for a suplex but Jericho manages to drop his knee and land it on the head of Cena, causing Cena to lose his grip. Jericho lands on the mat and hits a low dropkick to knock Cena down a peg before grabbing his head and nailing a DDT. Jericho makes the cover but Cena is quick to kick out and Jericho goes right back on the attack. He lays into Cena with vicious knees to the abdomen, not allowing Cena any time to breathe. Jericho finally stops his attack but only to roll Cena on his back and make the cover.]

Michael Cole: “One, two, thr- NO, CENA KICKS OUT!”

[Jericho gets up and gets in the referee’s face, shouting at him to count faster. Jericho turns and boots Cena hard in the midsection before positioning him in the middle of the ring. Jericho runs and uses the ropes to propel himself backwards and nail the Lionsault on Cena. Jericho hooks the leg but Cena once again kicks out at two and a half. Jericho gets up and kicks the ropes in frustration before turning and stalking Cena as he begins to rise. As soon as Cena is on his feet and turns to face Jericho, Jericho charges at him and goes for the Codebreaker but Cena catches him. Cena repositions Jericho and gets him up on his shoulders before walking over to the centre of the ring and nailing the Attitude Adjustment!]

Matt Striker: “Cena’s got him here! The referee is making the count but NO, Jericho kicks out just before the referee’s hand hits the mat for the three count! This match isn’t finished yet!”

[Cena sits up, shocked that Jericho managed to kick out. He gets to his feet and grabs Jericho’s leg before locking in the STF. Jericho struggles, flailing his arms in every direction in hope of reaching the ropes. He manages to drag himself and Cena over a little bit when he reaches out he is inches from reaching the bottom rope but just can’t make it. Jericho looks set to get his hand on the rope but Cena releases his hold and gets up to drag Jericho back but Jericho sees it coming and rolls it through, sending Cena crashing into the ring post in the corner. Cena stumbles back, holding his shoulder after the impact, and is met by a Codebreaker from Jericho. Jericho grabs both of Cena’s legs and turns him over, locking in the Walls of Jericho. Cena is miles away from the ropes and Jericho keeps the hold firmly locked in. Cena begins to fade and he has no choice but to tap out.]

DING! DING! DING!

Lilian Garcia: “Here is your winner and STIIIILLL WWE Champion, Chris Jericho!”

[Jericho releases his hold as soon as the bell rings and flops down to the mat. He uses the ropes to help him to his feet before the referee raises his arm in victory. He is handed the WWE Championship and climbs to the second rope before raising it in the air to many boos from the crowd. He jumps down and continues celebrating with his Championship as the show goes off the air.]

RED's Over the Limit review

- First thing's first. I don't like this style of show writting. I mean with the ring announcer announcing the superstars and the add of commentators during the contest. Oh and when Kane comes out they don't say "from parts unknown" they just skip that part.
- Kane vs Marella is our opening contest. Not a competitive match as expected with Santino being intimidated by Kane.
- Santino gets a few shots but can't really say they were close nearfalls not close to being an upset.
- Kane as the US Champion is good to me. Overall, it was a weak match and shouldn't have been the opening contest. Don't know which other match should be put first but obviously a match between a monster and a desperate Italian can't get the crowd excited and popped up for the show.
- 2nd match is Big Zeke vs Lord Tensai. I asume that this is just a "Tensai push" feud.
- Short match with Zeke getting a small offense as Tensai dominates most of the contest and wins it.
- I like Tensai and I hope this feud is over so he can move on perhaps to a feud for a title or to a feud with a better opponent.
- Third match is for the Intercontinental Championship as Danielson faces the Big Show.
- I was really hoping for Bryan to win and I'm glad he did but boy, a Veteran like Big Show shouldn't lose a match that way. I don't get why he tapped out since he could just put his foot into the ropes and not underneath them.
- Bryan is the Intercontinental Champion but really that was a disapointing finish.
- Divas title is next.
- Beth is over powered for the first time in her career.
- Now that wasn't a match. Kharma grabbed her, Beth broke the hold, rolled out of the ring and lost via count out.
- Not a PPV quality match and I hope there will be a rematch that will have at least one move.
- It's wrong, but I just love to see a referee getting his a$$ handed to him by a frustrated superstar (this time a Diva)
- Up next the World title is on the line.
- When you have Sheamus and Mark Henry competing in a match you don't expect any headlocks, just a fight, and that's exactly what we are seeing here.
- Don't like how the match ended because it made Henry look weak. The Brogue Kick is a move that can be used at any time so I'd rather see it coming out of nowhere.
- Glad that Sheamus retained though.
- Nice come back from Lesnar there and it will be cool to see him facing Sheamus for the first time. Not a fan of Lesnar in a World title match though.
- CM Punk vs Dolph Ziggler is next and this will save the show.
- Indeed, this match saved the PPV as it had some good, quick back and forth action.
- Good to see Ziggler winning, the only match I got wrong in My predictions.
- The main event is next and it's Jericho's and Cena's anniversary. It's the 500th time they face each other for a big title.
- Not a five star match but not bad either.
- Many people think I'm a Cena mark but I'm not. I just like the style of the guy. With that being said...
- When a guy gets slaughtered by Randy Orton in an I Quit match and refuses to quit and that same guy refuses to quit when the Miz hits him with a leather belt, it might be a Superman thing but still it's a thing. Having him tap out just like that, without suffering an injury already, just messes up everything. You could have used the Steve Austin thing back when he faced Bret Hart.
- Jericho could beat Cena clean at any time but this was just low even for Cena at least in My view.
- So the PPV goes off and I'll give it a 5/10.
- Don't get me wrong I liked the style of the show but except Sheamus all the other baby faces lost. It's not bad to have a heel winning, not at all, but 5 out of 7 matches (not including Beth-Kharma because of the count out ending) is just wrong to me.
- It was a nice try overall but I expect better things at the next PPV. Keep up the work.

Probably not the time to bring up the fact you've co-won a few PPV prediction contests too...

I am no more a fan of Kane holding the US Title than I am a fan of Kelly Kelly holding the WWE Championship.
