July 30th 2012

[RAW comes on the air as Monster blares through the speakers. The commentators introduce us to the show before the camera sweeps over the crowd, showing many signs. The camera snaps round to the ring as Dolph Ziggler walks out with his RAW Money In The Bank briefcase in his hand. Vickie Guerrero walks out behind him and Dolph lifts his briefcase up to a mixture of both cheers and boos. He proceeds down the ramp, a massive grin on his face the entire way. He jumps onto the apron before entering the ring and climbing to the second rope. He raises his briefcase in the air before jumping down and grabbing a mic from Vickie. Dolph turns to the crowd and says that last week he competed in the Main Event of the 1,000th episode of RAW and teamed up with a guy he grew up watching; The Ultimate Warrior. Dolph says that history was made last week and he was proud to be part of it. Back on topic, Dolph says that tonight things go back to normal and that means looking towards the future, which involves this briefcase. Before Dolph can continue, Daniel Bryan’s music hits and he walks out onto the stage with his Intercontinental Championship around his waist to cheers from the crowd. He repeatedly thrusts his arms in the air while shouting out “YES” as he sidesteps down the ramp. He jumps up onto the apron and stares in at Dolph before entering. He walks over to the other side of the ring and grabs a mic before turning back to Dolph. Bryan stands right in front of Dolph and asks him why he interfered in the Battle Royal two weeks ago on RAW. Dolph just laughs at Bryan before replying. Dolph says that he sees Bryan as a stepping stone for him. Dolph goes on to say that in order to prove himself worthy of being World Champion, he must first conquer the lower level. Dolph says that in order to do so he has to win that Intercontinental Championship and he interfered two weeks ago to get the attention of Bryan. Bryan stops Dolph from continuing and tells him that nobody uses him as a stepping stone. Bryan gets in Dolph’s face and tells him that he can’t just get a match at the Intercontinental Championship whenever he wants to. Dolph tells Bryan that the fact that he is standing here with the Money In The Bank briefcase means he has already proven himself to be better than the Intercontinental Championship but wants it anyway. Bryan says that he obviously has the wrong attitude but he is willing to give him a shot at the Intercontinental Championship at Summerslam but on one condition. Bryan tells Dolph than in order for him to get a shot at his Intercontinental Championship then he must put his Money In The Bank briefcase on the line as well. The fans give a loud pop at Bryan’s challenge and Dolph looks around, trying to decide what to do in his mind. Vickie stands by the side of Dolph and tells him just to say no because the Intercontinental Championship is not worth giving up a shot at the World Championship. Dolph nods his head listening to Vickie and goes to speak but Bryan cuts in. Bryan calls Dolph a coward and says it is about time he stands on his own two feet and makes his own decisions. This appears to rile Dolph who quickly retorts with his answer to Bryan’s challenge; yes. Bryan grins as Dolph glares over at him. Bryan walks right up to Dolph and gets in his face, raising his Intercontinental Championship in the air. Dolph responds by raising his RAW Money In The Bank briefcase in the air. The two continue to stare right through each other before Dolph goes to leave the ring. Before he steps out onto the apron, Dolph turns to Bryan and says that his briefcase will be on the line so long as it is still in his possession by the time Summerslam comes about. Dolph then winks at Bryan before throwing his mic down to the mat and leaving the ring. Dolph heads up the ramp with Vickie as Bryan stares after him, eyeing him up suspiciously.]

[We open up in the interview area with Josh Mathews and John Cena. There are massive boos coming from the crowd as Cena stands with his head bowed. Josh asks Cena the question that has been on everyone’s mind since the Battle Royal two weeks ago on RAW; why did he come back into the match after being eliminated and cost CM Punk, The Great Khali and Ezekiel Jackson a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship? John looks up and stares into the camera as he speaks. John says that, from the bottom of his heart, he is sorry for what he did last week. John says that after he lost at Money In The Bank, he felt the same pain he felt after his Wrestlemania loss but this time the pain was even worse. John says that he felt his chances at once again being World Champion slip out of his fingers after losing the Money In The Bank Match. John says that he wants to apologise to not only CM Punk, The Great Khali and Ezekiel Jackson but also to everyone in the WWE Universe. John says he knows he will have to make it up to everyone but he will find a way to do so.]

[Titus O’Neil makes his way out to the ring as we come back. As he slowly walks down the ramp, shouting out to the crowd, a replay of two weeks ago is shown when Andy Leavine debuted to save Percy Watson from an attack at the hands of Titus. The replay ends and Titus is in the ring, shaking his head at what he just watched. Andy Leavine is out next to relatively good cheers from the crowd. He makes his way down the ramp as the commentators remind us that he won Tough Enough last year. Andy gets in the ring and stands opposite Titus, ready to make his in-ring debut.]

Titus O’Neil versus Andy Leavine

[Titus and Andy collide in the middle of the ring as things get started, trading right hand after right hand. Andy takes control and backs Titus up into the ropes before hitting him with a massive clothesline that sends him toppling to the outside. Titus gets to his feet on the outside and leans against the barricade, staring in at Andy in anger. Andy takes a step back and shouts for Titus to come back in. Titus slides in and gets to his feet in time to catch a kick to the midsection from Andy. Titus proceeds to knock Andy down with a stiff clothesline before dropping down and making the cover for just a one count. Titus gets back up and pulls Andy back up with him before shoving him into the corner. Titus charges at him and squashes him hard against the turnbuckles. Titus takes a few steps back and lets Andy stumble forward before kicking him hard in the midsection. Andy doubles over and Titus snatches him by the head before nailing a DDT. Titus once again makes the cover but this time just gets a two count. Titus gets back up, beginning to get frustrated. Titus turns as Andy begins getting up and goes to grab him by the head but Andy surprises him with a stiff right hand to the abdomen. Titus doubles over and Andy proceeds to send him down to the mat with an uppercut. Andy stands up straight and waits for Titus to get up before charging at him and sending him down to the mat with a big boot to the face. Andy begins stalking Titus, waiting for him to get up. Titus does so and Andy snatches him up before powerslamming him back down to the mat. And steps out onto the apron and shouts out for the elbow drop, to which the fans cheer. Andy climbs up to the top rope and stands up straight before diving down, nailing the Elbow Drop. Andy rolls over and hooks the leg of Titus for the 1..2..3!]

Spoiler:

[Andy gets back to his feet and raises his two arms in the air to cheers from the crowd. He looks down at Titus and just grins before turning and leaving the ring. Andy heads up the ramp, celebrating his victory, as the scene fades.]

[We open up backstage in the locker room area as Curt Hawkins and Tyler Reks are in the midst of a heated argument with Drew McIntyre. Curt and Tyler are shouting at Drew that he shouldn’t have allowed himself and Brodus Clay to get through to the Quarter Finals of the Tag Tournament. Drew tells Curt and Tyler that he did what he had to do to get himself noticed and if that involves winning this Tournament and then beating Curt and Tyler at Summerslam for the WWE Tag Team Championships then so be it. The three continue to argue until Vickie walks in and screams at them all to stop. The three look at Vickie and shake their heads before reluctantly walking away from each other. Drew storms out of the locker room and heads down the hallway as Curt and Tyler take a seat at the far end of the locker room.]

~

[We open up in the parking lot area just outside of the arena as a limousine pulls inside. It stops just outside of the entrance to the arena before the back door opens and Vince McMahon steps out. The commentators mention how last week Vince McMahon returned and stated that he wanted his company back and would do anything to do so. Vince struts inside the arena with a massive grin on his face.]

~

[Alberto Del Rio makes his way out to the ring as we come back with Ricardo Rodriguez doing the introductions. Del Rio slowly makes his way down the ramp before getting in the ring. Brodus Clay is out next as the commentators remind us that this Friday Night on Smackdown Alberto Del Rio and Ricardo Rodriguez will take on Brodus Clay and Drew McIntyre in the first Quarter Finals bout of the Tournament. Brodus dances down the ramp before getting in the ring, ready to take on Alberto.]

Alberto Del Rio w/ Ricardo Rodriguez versus Brodus Clay

[Alberto kicks Brodus hard in the side of the leg as soon as the bell rings. Brodus stumbles a little but Alberto quickly responds with a second kick to the leg. Brodus’ leg gives away and Brodus falls to one knee before Alberto sends him down to the mat with an enzeguri. Brodus hits the mat and Alberto pounces on him for the cover but Brodus throws him away before the referee even has the chance to make the count. Brodus gets back to his feet as Alberto charges at him and catches him with a headbutt to the chest. Brodus begins to get fired up and dances for the crowd before turning as Alberto begins getting back up. Brodus grabs Alberto by the waist and picks him up in the air before slamming him back down hard. Brodus runs off the ropes and goes for the splash on Alberto but Alberto manages to roll out of the way. Brodus slowly rises back to his feet after hitting the mat but Alberto comes out of nowhere with a hard kick to the side of the head. Brodus falls back down to the mat and Alberto leans over him, beginning to wail away on the head of him. Alberto gets back up and stalks Brodus, slapping him over the chest over and over again. Brodus gets up but is still doubled over when Alberto snatches his arm. Alberto spins over for the Rolling Cross Arm Bar but Brodus blocks it and lifts him into the air before throwing him back down to the mat. Brodus proceeds to run off the ropes before coming back with a massive splash. Brodus hooks the leg of Alberto and gets the 1..2..3!]

Spoiler:

[Brodus gets back up and has his arm raised in victory by the referee before being joined in the ring by Naomi and Cameron. Brodus dances with the two women as Ricardo and Alberto stare in at them from the ramp.]

[We open up backstage to see Triple H walking down a hallway backstage looking extremely pissed off. Triple H storms down the hallway, ignoring everyone he walks passed.]

~

[Vince McMahon’s music hits when we come back to the ring and he makes his way out onto the stage. Vince looks around at the crowd before strutting down the ramp. He gets in the ring and grabs a mic before turning to the crowd. Vince starts off by thanking everyone for tuning into the show last week and celebrating the 1,000th episode of RAW with everyone in the WWE. Vince then goes on to remind everyone that last week he stated he wants his company back and he is not going to let anything get in his way of doing so; not even Triple H. Vince continues to say that Triple H has proven that he cannot be trusted to take care of the day to day goings on in the WWE, especially after the mass walkout of WWE personnel last year. Vince goes to continue but is interrupted as Triple H’s music hits. Triple H walks out to massive cheers from the crowd and stops on the stage, staring down at the man in the ring. Triple H slowly makes his way down before hopping up onto the apron and entering the ring. He grabs a mic before walking over and standing in front of Vince. Triple H starts off by reminding Vince that the reason he was relieved of his powers last year was because he had shown that his own personal agenda was clouding his judgement as being in control of the WWE so something had to be done. Triple H goes on to say that Vince needs to remember who has been there for him through everything he has gone through and that if Vince decides to make this personal then he is going against his own son-in-law. Vince tells Triple H that he is prepared for what is sure to come, even if that means dis-communicating Triple H from his family. Triple H stops Vince from going any further and tells him that if he wants to do this then they should both go backstage and discuss this in private in his office. It is at this point when Brock Lesnar and Randy Orton come running in the ring from the crowd and join Vince’s side. Triple H looks at the two men before looking back at Vince and asking if it is really going to go down this way. Vince just nods his head and then Brock and Orton take this as their signal to pounce on Triple H. Both men begin to punch away at Triple H but Triple H manages to block a couple of the shots and get a few shots in himself. However, the strength in numbers soon overcomes Triple H as he is taken down to the mat by the two men who proceed to stomp away at the COO of the WWE. Brock drops down to his knees and pulls Triple H’s coat off of him before throwing it to the outside and proceeding to hit Triple H over the head over and over again. Brock then rips Triple H’s shirt off and tosses that out as well before dragging Triple H over to the centre of the ring. Brock throws Triple H back down before joining Orton in stomping away at him. The two men stop their attack as Triple H is obviously hurt and can barely stand. The two men pull Triple H to his knees and hold him up by his arms as Vince leans down and gets right in his face. Vince shouts at Triple H that this is not over before spitting in his face. Brock and Orton release their grip on Triple H and allow him to flop to the mat before standing either side of Vince. Vince raises both men’s arms in the air and pose over Triple H’s fallen body as the scene fades.]

[We come back to the ring as Zack Ryder makes his way out to cheers from the crowd. He heads down the ramp as Justin Roberts announces this as the last match in this round of the Tag Team #1 Contender Tournament. Zack gets in the ring before Santino Marella makes his way out as his partner. Santino panders to the crowd on his way down the ramp before getting in the ring. The Miz is out next to the usual boos and jeers from the crowd. He makes his way down the ramp and stops outside of the ring before Christian’s music hits. Christian makes his way out to cheers and boos from the crowd and joins Miz outside of the ring before both men get in the ring.]

Zack Ryder & Santino Marella versus The Miz & Christian ~ Tag Team #1 Contender Tournament

[Zack and Miz start things off by locking up in the centre of the ring. Miz takes control and locks Zack in a headlock before flipping him over onto his back. Miz locks in the hold nice and tight, keeping Zack grounded on the mat. Zack eventually manages to loosen Miz’s grip and slips out from under him. Miz soon gets to his feet but Zack meets him with a stiff kick to the midsection. Miz doubles over and Zack lifts him back up before hitting him over the jaw with a right hand. Miz stumbles back and Zack grabs his arm before tossing him in the corner. Zack holds Miz in the corner and tags in Santino, who enters the ring and goes straight on the attack. Santino hits Miz with knee after knee to the midsection in the corner until Miz falls into a seated position in the corner. Santino grabs Miz’s feet and goes to lift him up into the air but Miz kicks out at Santino and forces him to release his grip. Miz gets up and avoids a running attack from Santino before running over and tagging in Christian. Christian enters the ring as Santino gets the tag to Zack, who also gets in the ring. Both men charge at each other and meet in the centre of the ring where they commence to trade blows. Christian takes control and sends Zack down with a hard right hand. Zack slowly gets back up but is met by a knee to the head from Christian before he even gets back to his feet. Christian begins to stomp away at Zack before dragging him back to his feet. Christian spins Zack around and begins turning him for the Killswitch but before he can get him in position Zack shoves him away. However, he pushes him right into his own corner and Miz tags himself in unbeknownst to Zack. Christian turns back around and walks right into the Rough Ryder from Zack. Zack bends down to make the cover on Christian but Miz sneaks in behind him and nails the Skull Crushing Finale for the three count.]

Spoiler:

[Miz gets back to his feet and helps Christian to his feet before both men have their arms raised in victory. Santino checks on Zack in the corner as he rolls over hurt after the Skull Crushing Finale. Christian and Miz continue to celebrate in the ring as the scene fades.]

~

[Josh Mathews stands in the interview area and is joined by CM Punk. Josh asks CM Punk how he is preparing himself for his big match at Summerslam against The Rock. CM Punk responds by saying that he is doing what he always does, train as hard as he can in order to be able to come out and prove that he is the best in the world. CM Punk says that John Cena may have been unable to defeat The Rock at Wrestlemania but he has proved on more than one occasion that he is better than John Cena and at Summerslam he will prove that he is better than The Rock.]

~

[Rosa Mendes is in the ring when we come back and Beth Phoenix is out next to team up with Rosa in this match. Beth gets in the ring and Tamina is out next to cheers from the crowd. She gets in the ring before Kharma makes her way out with the Women’s Championship over her shoulder. She is slow in making her way down the ramp before getting in the ring alongside Tamina.]

Rosa Mendes & Beth Phoenix versus Tamina & Kharma

[Kharma start things off against Rosa, grabbing her by the throat with two hands and throwing her into an empty corner. Kharma charges at Rosa and squashes her hard against the turnbuckles before stepping back and tossing Rosa down in the centre of the ring. Kharma wastes no time and drags Rosa back to her feet before grabbing her by the throat and nailing her with the Chokeslam. Kharma looks out to the crowd as they cheer her before turning back to Rosa and dragging her up. Kharma gets Rosa in position for Bad Kharma and points over to Beth before lifting Rosa up and slamming her back down with the move. Kharma rolls Rosa onto her back and instead of going for the cover walks over and tags in Tamina. Kharma remains in the ring, glaring over at Beth to make sure she does not attempt to get in the ring. Tamina climbs up to the top rope and stands up straight before diving down and hitting the Snuka Splah. Tamina hooks the leg of Rosa and gets the three count.]

Spoiler:

[Tamina gets back to her feet and throws her arms in the air in victory as Kharma grabs her Women’s Championship from ringside. Kharma stands in the ring and stares out at Beth Phoenix on the ramp as Tamina continues celebrating behind her.]

~

[Ric Flair leans on his desk in his office as we open up in his office. Ric says that tonight we continue on the road to the next 1000 episodes of Monday Night RAW and in order to ensure we get things rolling tonight the Main Event will be a Champion v Champion Match. The World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus will be going one on one with the WWE Champion Chris Jericho!]

~

[We come back to the ring as Daniel Bryan makes his way out with his Intercontinental Championship around his waist. A replay of his altercation with Dolph Ziggler earlier on tonight is shown and by the time the video ends Bryan is in the ring. CM Punk is out next and is introduced as Bryan’s partner. Punk does his usual entrance before getting in the ring. Wade Barrett is out next and the commentators remind us that at Summerslam Barrett will take on Sheamus for the World Heavyweight Championship. Out next is Seth Rollins to a pretty big amount of cheers from the crowd. Rollins stops on the stage and whips his head around repeatedly before making his way down the ramp and joining Barrett in the ring.]

Daniel Bryan & CM Punk versus Wade Barrett & Seth Rollins

[Barrett and Bryan start things off in the centre of the ring, locking up to get things started. Barrett takes control by getting Bryan in a headlock before flipping him over onto his back. Barrett locks it in tighter but Bryan is able to quickly slip out. Bryan gets to his feet moments before Barrett and goes to surprise him with a kick to the side but Barrett manages to catch it. Barrett proceeds to knock Bryan down to the mat with a big clothesline. Barrett begins to stomp away at the grounded Bryan before dragging him to his feet and shoving him into the corner. Barrett goes to hit Bryan with a hard right hand but Bryan dodges it and Barrett’s own momentum sends him into the corner instead. Barrett turns around and Bryan begins to repeatedly kick Barrett hard in the midsection. Bryan finally gives in and pulls Barrett out of the corner before hitting him with a snap suplex. Bryan rolls over and hooks the leg of Barrett but only gets a one count. Bryan pulls Barrett up to his feet and pulls him into the corner, getting the tag to Punk. Punk jumps over the top rope and comes crashing down on the back of Barrett’s neck with a leg drop. Punk gets back up and drags Barrett away from the ropes before lifting him up to his feet. Punk kicks Barrett in the midsection before grabbing his arm. Punk goes to get Barrett with the Anaconda Vice but Barrett turns it around and hits Punk with the STO. Barrett begins crawling to his corner as Punk slowly rises to his feet. Barrett reaches his corner and gets the tag to Rollins as Punk reaches his feet. Rollins jumps up onto the top rope and springboards over with a big clothesline to Punk. Rollins gets back to his feet and stalks Punk as he begins getting to his feet. Punk gets up and turns into a big dropkick from Rollins. Rollins quickly makes the cover on Punk but only gets a two count. Rollins drags Punk back to his feet but Punk stops him from doing anything by meeting him with a right hand to the midsection. Punk continues to hit Rollins with right hand after right hand to the jaw before running off the ropes. Punk goes to hit Rollins with a clothesline on the rebound but Rollins ducks underneath it before running off the ropes himself but runs right into a running forearm from Punk. Rollins hits the mat and Punk steps out onto the apron. Punk climbs up to the top rope and points up to the Heavens but before he can dive down, Rollins runs over and hits the top rope which causes Punk to fall hard onto his groin area. Rollins spins Punk around before getting underneath him and slamming him back down with a turnbuckle powerbomb. Rollins then spreads out his arms and motions for the end to come as Barrett comes rushing round the ring and pulls Bryan off of the apron to ensure he won’t stop Rollins. Punk gets to his feet and turns right into the Avade Kedavra from Rollins. Rollins pulls Punk away from the ropes before hooking the leg for the three count.]

Spoiler:

[Rollins gets back to his feet and has his arm raised in victory by the referee before climbing to the second rope. Rollins begins to repeatedly whip his head around before jumping down and heading backstage.]

~

[We open up backstage to see Sheamus heading down a hallway with his World Heavyweight Championship around his waist. Sheamus continues down the hallway when he passes Dolph Ziggler and Vickie Guerrero who are leaning against a wall speaking in hushed voices. Sheamus stops and stares at Dolph who stares right back at him with a sly grin on his face. Sheamus shakes his head and continues down the hallway as a “NEXT” logo appears at the bottom of the screen.]

~

[Sheamus makes his way out onto the stage with his World Heavyweight Championship around his waist when we come back. Sheamus makes his way down the ramp before getting in the ring as Chris Jericho makes his way out. Chris takes his time making his way down the ramp before getting in the ring, ready for this match.]

Sheamus versus Chris Jericho

[Sheamus and Chris walks up to each other in the centre of the ring and eye each other up before Sheamus extends his hand for Chris to shake. Chris slaps Sheamus’ hand away before kneeing him in the midsection and proceeding to hit him over the jaw repeatedly with right hand after right hand. Chris backs Sheamus into the ropes before grabbing his arm and going to whip him across the ring. Sheamus manages to turn it around and instead whips Chris across the ring before catching him on the rebound with a big clothesline. Sheamus pulls Chris back to his feet and lifts him up before slamming him back down with a side slam. Sheamus wastes no time and gets Chris back to his feet once again before hitting him with repeated blows to the ribs. Sheamus grabs Chris and lifts him up as if for the Irish Curse backbreaker but Chris reverses it and instead hits Sheamus with a jumping reverse STO. Chris rolls Sheamus over onto his back before hooking his leg for a one count. Chris gets back to his feet and begins to stalk Sheamus as he slowly rises. Sheamus gets up and turns into Chris who jumps up for the Codebreaker. Sheamus catches Chris and gets him up on his shoulders before going to get him in position for White Noise but Chris turns it around into a sunset flip for a two count. Both men get back to their feet and Sheamus throws a right hand at Chris but Chris ducks underneath it before hitting Sheamus with a dropkick. Chris gets back up and grabs Sheamus’ legs before dragging Sheamus to the centre of the ring. The fans begin to cheer as Chris begins rolling over Sheamus until he locks in the Walls Of Jericho. Sheamus looks to be in pain as Chris locks the hold in nice and right. Sheamus reaches out for the ropes but they are just out of his reach. Sheamus looks set to tap out when all of a sudden the lights in the arena go out. The fans begin to cheer and chant Undertaker’s name but there is no sound. When the lights come back on both men are on their feet in the ring and Chris has his back turned to Sheamus, looking around for Undertaker. Sheamus is holding the small of back in pain as he stalks Chris. Chris turns around and walks right into a big Brogue Kick from the World Heavyweight Champion. Sheamus drops down on top of Chris and hooks his leg for the three count.]

Spoiler:

[Sheamus gets back to his feet, still holding his back as he is in obvious pain. The referee hands Sheamus his World Heavyweight Championship before raising his other arm in the air. Chris rolls to the outside and takes a seat at the apron, holding his head as he is still dazed from the Brogue Kick. Sheamus continues to celebrate in the ring and climbs to the second rope, raising his World Heavyweight Championship in the air. He jumps back down and is met by Wade Barrett who had come in through the crowd. Wade takes down Sheamus with a big boot to the face before beginning to knee away at the back of Sheamus. Wade drags Sheamus back to his feet before getting him on his shoulders and nailing the Wasteland. Wade stands over the fallen body of Sheamus and smirks down at him as the crowd begin to chant “We Want Ziggler!” Wade picks up Sheamus’ World Heavyweight Championship and stares at it for a few moments before dropping it down on Sheamus. Wade turns and heads up the ramp as Sheamus slowly rises to his feet in the ring.]

I’m Here To Show The World! I’m Here To Show The World!

[The fans jump to their feet cheering as Dolph Ziggler walks out onto the stage with his RAW Money In The Bank briefcase in his hand. He runs down the ramp and slides in the ring before walking over to the referee. However, before he is able to hand it to him Daniel Bryan’s music hits and the Intercontinental Champion comes rushing down the ramp. He jumps into the ring and Ziggler is already waiting for him. Bryan lunges at Ziggler and takes him down with a flying forearm shot. The two begin to trade blows on the mat until Ziggler grabs his briefcase and slides out of the ring. Ziggler backs up into the barricade and stares in at Bryan who is now on his feet. Bryan laughs at Ziggler as he walks around the ring and backs up the ramp, completely pissed off that Bryan just ruined his moment. Sheamus gets to his feet in the ring and he and Bryan stand awkwardly staring at each other as the show goes off the air.]

August 3rd 2012

[Smackdown comes on the air and the brand new theme song, Burn It Down, begins to blare through the speakers. The cameras sweep through the crowd, showing the signs supporting various supporters. The commentators welcome us to the show before the camera snaps round to the stage as Randy Orton slowly walks out to massive boos from the crowd. Randy Orton stops on the stage and looks around at the crowd with a look of disgust before making his way down the ramp as a replay of both him and Brock Lesnar attacking Triple H on this past Monday Night on RAW and then leaving with Vince McMahon. We come back to Smackdown with Randy standing in the centre of the ring with a mic in hand. Orton starts off by informing everyone that what happened this past Monday Night on RAW is between him, Brock and Vince and he is not going to explain himself to anybody, at least not now. Randy goes on to say that tonight he is in the Main Event and he will be teaming up with a man he really doesn’t like; Christian. Randy says that he will be fine teaming up with Christian though because he also doesn’t like his opponents; Jack Swagger and Undertaker. Randy says that after he defeats Undertaker tonight he is going to send him where he should be; in a retirement home. Randy says he will then take Undertaker’s place in the Main Event of Summerslam and defeat Chris Jericho to once again become the WWE Champion. With that being said, Randy throws down his mic and taunts the crowd before leaving the ring and heading backstage as the scene fades.]

~

[We open up in the interview area as Eden Stiles stands with a smartly dressed Kofi Kingston, who has his Smackdown Money In The Bank briefcase in his hands. Eden goes to ask Kofi a question but he snatches the mic from her before shoving her out of shot. Kofi looks into the camera and says that he just wanted to take this time to remind everyone that tonight he begins his weekly Open Challenge and he wants a real challenge tonight. Kofi says that he doesn’t want some little idiot coming out who wants to make a name for himself, he wants someone who truly thinks they can beat him so he can prove them wrong. Kofi goes to leave but stops himself, turning back to the camera. Kofi says that he is so confident in his ability to beat anyone on the Smackdown roster that he is going to put his Smackdown Money In The Bank briefcase on the line in every Open Challenge Match.]

~

[Alberto Del Rio’s music hits when we come back to the ring and both he and Ricardo Rodriguez make their way out as Justin Roberts announces this is the first Quarter Final Match of the Tag Team #1 Contender Tournament. Ricardo comes out in a black singlet and runs around the stage, shouting out to the crowd. Alberto shakes his head and makes his way down the ramp, getting in the ring before Ricardo does the same. Brodus Clay is out next to cheers from the crowd. He dances down the ramp with Cameron and Naomi before getting in the ring. Drew McIntyre comes out next with Vickie Guerrero and is surprisingly accompanied by the WWE Tag Team Champions, Curt Hawkins and Tyler Reks. Drew is deep in conversation with Curt and Tyler and he gets in the ring as Curt, Tyler and Vickie head round and take a seat in front of the commentary table.]

Alberto Del Rio & Ricardo Rodriguez versus Brodus Clay & Drew McIntyre w/ Vickie Guerrero ~ Tag Team #1 Contender Tournament Quarter Finals

[Alberto goes to start things off against Drew but Ricardo chooses to tag himself in and tells Alberto he will start things off. Alberto reluctantly steps out onto the apron and Drew begins to laugh as Ricardo limbers up in the corner. Drew walks into the centre of the ring and mockingly putting one arm behind his back, telling Ricardo to hit him with his best shot. Ricardo walks over and takes up on Drew’s offer, punching him hard across the jaw. Drew stumbles back, holding his jaw in surprised pain. Drew lunges at Ricardo and goes for a clothesline but Ricardo ducks underneath. Drew stops in his steps and turns right into a dropkick from Ricardo. Ricardo crawls over and makes the cover on Drew but Drew is quick to kick out. Ricardo gets back to his feet just before Drew and meets him with a hard kick to the midsection. Ricardo lifts Drew back upright and hits him with another shot to the jaw before shoving him into the corner. Ricardo gets the tag to Alberto who steps in the ring and kicks Drew hard in the midsection. Alberto takes a few steps back and lets Drew stumble forward before hitting him with an enzeguri. Alberto rolls Drew onto his back and hooks the leg for a two count. Alberto pulls Drew back to his feet but before he can do anything Drew lifts him up onto his shoulders before flipping him over onto his back. Drew goes to walk over and tag in Brodus but then realises what he is doing and changes his mind. Drew looks from the rising Alberto to Curt and Tyler on the outside before making his decision. Drew turns and steps out onto the apron before hopping down onto the ground. He throws his hands in the air as he slowly walks up the ramp, causing the referee to begin his ten count. The referee reaches a count of five as Drew reaches the midway point on the ramp. Brodus jumps down onto the floor and runs round the ring before chasing after Drew. The referee reaches the count of seven before Brodus gets his hands on Drew. Brodus kicks Drew in the midsection before grabbing him by the head and running back down the ramp before throwing him in the ring, just as the referee reached the count of nine. Brodus quickly grabs Ricardo’s feet and pulls him off of the apron, driving his head into it as he does so. Brodus then gets in the ring and charges at Alberto, nailing the Ah Funk It! Brodus then gets back to his feet and grabs Drew by the throat before nailing him with a Chokeslam. Brodus throws Drew down on top of Alberto and holds him down for the three count.]

Spoiler:

[Brodus quickly runs out of the ring as Curt and Tyler run in. Curt and Tyler help Drew to his feet but he shoves them away. Drew has a surprised grin on his face as he leans against the ropes and stares back at Curt and Tyler. The two ask him what he is grinning about but he just winks at them before leaving the ring. Vickie joins him on the outside and the two head backstage as Curt and Tyler look on from the ring.]

~

[Roddy Piper stands in his office as we open up. Roddy says that earlier on this week he sat down with a RAW Superstar and Ric Flair and they came to an agreement which will see a top RAW superstar join the Smackdown roster. Roddy says that the identity of this man is being kept under wraps but he is here tonight and he will be revealed later on.]

~

[We open up in what appears to be the boiler room and there is an eerie red tint to the lighting. Kane walks into the shot and he has the United States Championships hanging over his shoulder. Kane says that yet again he has been overlooked by the WWE and will not be competing at Summerslam. Kane does say, however, that they will have no choice in the matter when it comes to Night Of Champions when he defends his United States Championship. Kane says that he will prove at Night Of Champions why you always give a monster what they want because no matter who his opponent will be, he will use them to set an example to everyone else.]

~

[Back in the ring and Ezekiel Jackson and The Great Khali are making their way out to cheers from the crowd. The two big men get in the ring before Epico and Hunico make their way out. These two get in the ring opposite Jackson and Khali and we look set for the second Quarter Final of the Tag Team #1 Contender Tournament.]

Ezekiel Jackson & The Great Khali versus Epico & Hunico ~ Tag Team #1 Contender Tournament Quarter Final

[Epico and Jackson look set to start this one off and Epico goes on the attack early, getting a few rights and lefts on Jackson. This doesn’t last long though as Jackson grabs Epico by the head before sending him down to the mat with a big clothesline. Jackson wastes little time in getting Epico up to his feet before tossing him into the corner. Jackson holds him against the turnbuckles while getting the tag to Khali. Khali gets in the ring and instantly meets Epico with a hard kick to the midsection. Khali hits a couple more boots before stepping back and picking Epico up in the military press position. Epico manages to get free and drops down behind Khali before jumping up and grabbing him by the shoulders. Epico drops back and executes the Backstabber but only manages to get the two count. Epico gets back to his feet while Khali is still grounded and gets the tag to Hunico, who climbs up to the top rope. Hunico dives down for the moonsault and nails it perfectly before making the cover on Khali for yet another two count. Hunico gets to his feet and begins to stomp away at the body of Khali but Khali grabs Hunico’s boot before throwing him back. Hunico gets back up and ducks underneath a clothesline attempt from Khali before jumping onto the second rope in the corner. Hunico waits for Khali to turn back around before diving down for a cross body but Khali catches him. Khali slams Hunico down hard before getting the tag to Jackson. Jackson enters the ring and picks Hunico up to his feet before slamming him back down again. Jackson does this once more before signalling for the Torture Rack. Jackson drags Hunico up to his feet and goes to get him up on his shoulders for the Torture Rack but Hunico drops down behind Jackson and rolls him up for a close three count. Hunico quickly crawls over to his corner and gets the tag to Epico. Epico springboards off of the top rope and takes down the bigger Jackson with a dropkick. Epico rises back to his feet and stalks Jackson as he begins getting to his feet. Jackson gets up and turns into Epico who jumps up before hitting the Double Knee Facebreaker. Jackson sprawls over onto his back and Epico hooks his leg for the three count before Khali is able to get in the ring to break up the count.]

Spoiler:

[Epico gets back to his feet with a massive grin on his face and is soon joined in the ring by Hunico. The two celebrate together in the ring as we cut backstage.]

~

[Eden Stiles stands in the interview area with the WWE Champion Chris Jericho by her side. Eden asks Chris if the fact that he will be facing Undertaker in a Casket Match at Summerslam has sunk in yet. Chris gives Eden a look of annoyance before informing her that it has obviously sunk in. Chris says that he isn’t worried about it though because regardless of what type of match it is, he will defeat Undertaker and will walk out of Summerslam the way he walked in; WWE Champion.]

~

[Jack Swagger and Abraham Washington are standing somewhere in the backstage area, seemingly in a deep conversation about a possible match at Summerslam. Jack tells AW that as soon as he hears about an opening for a spot on the card to jump on it because he needs the chance to prove that he can win on a big stage. AW promises Jack that he will get him on that card no matter what it takes but for now he should go and get ready for the Main Event.]

~

[R-Truth is making his way down the ramp with Little Jimmy when we come back to the ring area. Truth jumps in the ring and Cody Rhodes is out next to massive boos from the crowd. Rhodes completely ignores the crowd on his way down the ramp before getting in the ring for this match.]

R-Truth versus Cody Rhodes

[Cody and Truth go straight at it when the bell rings, trading blows to start things off. Truth takes control and backs Cody up with hard right after hard right, getting him backed up against the ropes. Truth kicks Cody in the midsection before lifting him up in a suplex position and planting him down on the top rope. Cody slides over onto the apron and Truth goes to hit him with a right hand to send him down but Cody catches it and hits Truth with a right hand of his own which causes him to stumble back. Cody steps back in the ring and drops Truth with a big dropkick. Cody gets back to his feet and drops to his knees, hitting Truth over the head with right hand after right hand before getting back to his feet. Cody drags Truth up with him but when Truth gets to his feet he throws Cody’s hands off of him before planting a right hand perfectly on the jaw of Cody. Cody hits the mat and Truth waits for him to get back to his feet before running off the ropes and hitting him with the Lie Detector. Truth drops down on top of Cody and hooks the leg but is only able to get a two count. Truth gets back to his feet and shouts for the Little Jimmy as Cody begins getting to his feet. Cody gets up and Truth jumps up for the Little Jimmy but Cody sees it coming and catches Truth before throwing him down to the mat on his own. Cody wastes no time and pulls up a hurt Truth and grabs him in the inverted DDT position before nailing the Cross Rhodes. Cody pulls Truth over to him and hooks the leg for the 1..2..3!]

Spoiler:

[Cody quickly gets back to his feet after securing the three count and has his arm raised in victory by the referee. Cody climbs to the second rope and shouts out to the crowd before jumping down and heading backstage.]

~

[Zack Ryder stands in the backstage area, talking to some crew worker about his plans to become the United States Champion again. The crew worker mentions that David Otunga has been vying for months to win a Championship and asks Zack if he thinks he can beat him for the belt, given Otunga’s stature. Zack just laughs and tells the crew worker that despite Otunga’s physique, he is as bad a wrestler as he is a lawyer. Zack continues to mock Otunga until the crew worker abruptly walks off. Zack turns around and Otunga is revealed to be standing behind him, not amused in the slightest. The two engage in a little argument before Otunga challenges Zack to a match, a challenge which Zack accepts.]

~

[Natalya stands alongside Eden Stiles in the interview area with a grin etched across her face. Eden informs the crowd that Natalya has something she wishes to say before leaving Natalya standing alone in the interview area. Natalya begins by reminding the fans that Natalya’s best friend, Beth Phoenix, takes on Kharma at Summerslam for the Women’s Championship but Natalya says that she has other plans in mind. Natalya says that she knows that both herself and Beth can put on a show at Summerslam and is challenging Kharma to a Women’s Championship Match next week on Smackdown and if Natalya wins she will get to face Beth at Summerslam.]

~

[We come back to the ring as David Otunga makes his way out, still looking pissed off after the comments from Zack Ryder. Otunga gets in the ring and Zack makes his way out next to major cheers from the crowd. Zack gets in the ring and stands opposite Otunga, looking forward to this match.]

David Otunga versus Zack Ryder

[Zack charges at Otunga as soon as the bell rings but Otunga sees him coming and takes out Zack with a massive clothesline. Otunga looks down at Zack with the same pissed off look on his face before pulling him to his feet. Otunga knees Zack hard in the midsection before lifting his head up and hitting him hard over the jaw with a right hand. Zack stumbles back a little but Otunga snatches him before lifting him in the air and nailing a suplex. Otunga rolls over and makes the cover on Zack but Zack kicks out just after the one count. Otunga gets back to his knees and begins to unload on Zack with rights and lefts but Zack quickly rolls away and holds onto the ropes as he begins getting to his feet. Otunga charges at Zack but Zack ducks underneath his attack and pulls down the top rope, sending Otunga toppling to the outside. Zack gets back to his feet and watches as Otunga begins getting up on the outside. Zack waits for him to get to his feet before propelling himself over the top rope and landing the crossbody on Otunga. Both men are now down on the outside as the referee begins his ten count. Zack begins rising at the count of three and gets to his feet before pulling Otunga up with him. Zack grabs Otunga by the tights and rolls him in the ring before rolling in after him. Zack goes straight in with the cover but Otunga kicks out after the two count. Zack gets back up and does his signature LI taunt as he stalks the rising Otunga. Otunga gets up and Zack instantly nails him with the Rough Ryder. Zack hooks the leg of Otunga and gets the three count for the victory.]

Spoiler:

[Zack rises back to his feet and has his arm raised in victory before celebrating in the ring.]

~

[Randy Orton is seen walking down the corridor towards his locker room but just when he reaches the door, Eden Stiles runs over and blocks his way. Eden asks Randy to further explain his actions from RAW this past Monday; what is going on between himself, Brock Lesnar and Vince McMahon? Randy gives Eden a glaring look and tells her to mind her own business or face the consequences before barging passed her and walking into his locker room, slamming the door shut behind him.]

~

[Kofi Kingston makes his way out to the ring with his Money In The Bank briefcase in his hands when we come back the ring. Kofi gets in the ring and begins warming up, waiting to see who will answer his first open challenge. Just then, Big Show’s music hits and the giant walks out onto the stage to big cheers from the crowd. Show makes his way down the ramp before getting in the ring, grinning across at Kofi.]

Kofi Kingston (Smackdown Money In The Bank Holder) versus Big Show ~ Smackdown Money In The Bank Briefcase

[Kingston looks worried as the bell rings and instead of going on the attack, both he and Show circle one another. Kingston goes to run at Show for some form of attack but Show stops him in his tracks by grabbing him by the head before nailing him with a headbutt. Kingston sprawls to the mat before rolling over to the ropes and getting back to his feet. Show runs at Kingston but Kingston moves out of the way before running off the ropes and coming back with a dropkick to Show. Show stumbles bit does not fall so Kingston goes for the second attempt. Kingston runs off the ropes and goes for a running crossbody this time but Show catches him in midair and has a grin on his face as he holds Kingston in his grasp. Show lifts Kingston up into the air and Kingston snatches Show’s head before pulling him down and hitting the DDT to the surprise of everyone. Kingston hooks the leg of Show and, once again to the surprise of everyone, gets the three count.]

Winner and still Smackdown Money In The Bank Holder: Kofi Kingston

[Show just manages to kick out after the three count but it is already too late. Kingston jumps to his feet and snatches his briefcase from the referee before raising it in the air. Kingston quickly leaves the ring as a dazed Show gets to his feet. Kingston backs up the ramp as Show shouts out at him that he got lucky.]

~

[Eden Stiles stands in the interview area for the last time tonight and is joined by Darren Young. Eden asks Darren what his plans are from now on since he has yet to compete after suffering his first loss at Money In The Bank. Darren laughs at Eden and calls her an idiot before proclaiming his plans are obvious. Darren says that after Summerslam the next PPV is Night Of Champions and at that event the United States Champion, Kane, needs a challenger. Darren just points to himself and winks at Eden before walking off.]

~

[We come back to the ring for the Main Event and Christian is out first to the usual boos from the crowd. Christian quickly makes his way down the ramp before jumping in the ring. Randy Orton is out next, also to boos, and he gets in the ring before Jack Swagger comes out with Abraham Washington. Swagger and AW head down the ramp, talking tactics, before Swagger gets in the ring opposite Orton and Christian. Undertaker’s music hits and the crowd instantly begin to cheer. Undertaker takes his time on his way down the ramp before getting in the ring alongside Swagger.]

Christian & Randy Orton versus Jack Swagger w/ Abraham Washington & Undertaker

[Swagger starts things off against Christian, both men locking up in the centre of the ring. Swagger gets Christian in a headlock and holds it in tight but Christian is able to get himself free. Christian throws Swagger towards the ropes and by the time Swagger turns around, Christian is there to meet him with a dropkick which sends him toppling to the outside. Swagger is soon back up on the outside and Christian runs off of the ropes before springboarding over for a crossbody but Swagger catches him before charging into the ring post, crushing Christian’s back against it. Swagger doesn’t let go of Christian and instantly slides him in the ring before getting in after him. Swagger hooks the leg of Christian but Christian manages to kick out after the two count. Swagger gets back to his feet and drags Christian over to the corner before getting the tag to Undertaker. Undertaker gets in the ring and the fans already begin to cheer very loudly. Undertaker grabs Christian by the arm and climbs up to the second rope before stepping onto the top. Undertaker walks along the top rope before jumping down and hitting Christian with the Old School. Undertaker makes the cover on Christian but Christian is able to kick out after the two count once again. Undertaker wastes little time in getting back to his feet and begins pulling Christian up with him but Christian shoves him away before jumping back into his corner and getting the tag to Orton. Christian rolls to the outside and takes a seat against the apron, holding his back in pain. Orton gets in the ring and charges at Undertaker, who goes to meet him with a clothesline. Orton ducks underneath and runs off the ropes before coming back and taking down Undertaker with a stiff clothesline. Orton waits for Undertaker to get back up before whipping him across the ring and catching him with the scoop powerslam on the rebound. Orton hooks the leg of Undertaker but Undertaker kicks out just after the two count. Orton gets back up and spreads out his arms, stalking Undertaker. Undertaker begins rising and when he gets up Orton spins him around before jumping up for the RKO. Undertaker manages to catch Orton and throws him down to the mat before stumbling over to his corner and getting the tag to Swagger, just as Orton rolls over to his corner and tags in Christian. Both Christian and Swagger get in the ring and charge at each other. Christian goes straight for the Spear but Swagger sidesteps it and runs off the ropes before taking down Christian with a big shoulder block. Swagger begins to get fired up and pulls Christian to his feet before grabbing him and hitting the belly to belly suplex. Swagger gets back to his feet and pulls down the straps, signalling that the end is coming. Christian slowly gets to his feet and when he gets up Swagger grabs him for the Gutwrench Powerbomb but all of a sudden The Miz comes rushing down the ramp. Miz’s first course of action is to grab Undertaker by the ankles and pull him off of the apron before shoving him hard into the steel steps. Miz then jumps up onto the apron and Swagger throws Christian aside, going to hit Miz with a right hand but Miz smartly jumps off of the apron. By this time, Christian has been able to get the tag to Orton who is now in the ring, stalking the unaware Swagger. Swagger tells Miz to back off before turning back around and Orton instantly hits him with the RKO. Orton pulls Swagger away from the ropes before hooking his leg for the three count.]

Spoiler:

[Orton gets back to his feet as he is announced the winner but instantly leaves the ring and heads backstage. Miz gets in the ring and meets Christian, who is standing above the fallen Swagger with a mic in hand. The two slap hands before Christian passes the mic to Miz, who turns to the crowd. Miz has a cocky grin on his face as he raises the mic to his mouth. Miz reminds everyone that earlier on tonight Roddy Piper announced that Smackdown had made a major signing and Miz can now reveal that he is that major signing. There are both cheers and boos from the crowd as Miz announces this. Miz then looks directly into the camera and says that he is going to run Smackdown because he’s The Miz and he is awesome. Miz drops the mic and gives a slight grin into the camera before turning and joining Christian in the centre of the ring. The two men stand above Swagger and raise each other’s arms in the air as the show goes off the air.]

Interesting note that, as of today, Curt Hawkins and Tyler Reks are tied for the 14th longest reigning WWE Tag Team Champions in history. They are currently tied with the Los Guerreros reign of 2002 into 2003.

Another interesting note is that in two days time Sheamus will be tied for the 5th longest reigning World Heavyweight Champion in history. Sheamus will be tied with King Booker's reign in 2006 and Batista's reign in 2006 into 2007.

This might be the biggest waste of time in WWE history.

August 6th 2012

[RAW comes on the air as Monster blares through the speakers. The commentators introduce us to the show before the camera sweeps over the crowd, showing many signs. The camera snaps round to the ring as Triple H’s music hits and the COO of the WWE walks out onto the stage to a loud ovation from the crowd. Triple H looks out to the crowd before continuing down the ramp and getting in the ring, grabbing a mic on his way. Triple H stares into the camera and begins to laugh slightly before saying that last week Vince McMahon proved that the older he gets the more cowardly he becomes. He goes on to say that the fact he got two guys who have an obvious beef with himself, Triple H, to attack him from behind shows that Vince knows that he could have taken Randy and Brock on if the fight had been face to face. Triple H continues to say that regardless of how much Vince wants the company back in his sole control, he is going around it the wrong way. Triple H goes to say more but is cut off by the music of Randy Orton. Randy walks out onto the stage and remains there with a mic in his hand. Randy goes to begin talking but Triple H cuts him off and tells him that nobody interrupts him and gets away with it. Triple H goes on to say that he wants to talk to the man himself, Vince, and not his lackey. Randy just laughs this comment off and tells Triple H that if he wants to speak to Vince then he does it on Vince’s terms and not his own. Randy informs Triple H that Vince will be here tonight and if he wants to talk to Triple H then he will but if not then Triple H will just have to wait a little longer before getting his answers.]

~

[We open up in the parking lot area which seems to be pretty full. A limousine pulls up just outside of the entrance to the arena. Brock Lesnar steps out of the back and the fans begin to boo loudly as he enters the arena. He heads inside and walks off down the hallway as the scene fades.]

~

[We come back to the ring and Sin Cara makes his way out onto the stage. He runs down the ramp and jumps in the ring before Big Show makes his way out to cheers from the crowd. Show gets in the ring before Daniel Bryan runs out with his Intercontinental Championship around his waist to massive “YES” chants from the crowd. He runs down the ramp before getting in the ring as Kane makes his way out with his United States Championship. Kane takes his time making his entrance before getting in the ring, ready for this match.]

Sin Cara & Big Show versus Daniel Bryan & Kane ~ Tag Team #1 Contender Tournament Quarter Final

[Show and Bryan look set to start this one off, taking us back to their short feud from a few months ago. Show and Bryan shake hands before Show takes down Bryan with a big clothesline. Bryan soon gets back to his feet but Show grabs him over the head with two hands before picking him up and throwing him into the corner. Show runs at Bryan and goes to squash him against the turnbuckles but Bryan quickly moves out of the way before running off the ropes and coming back with a big dropkick to Show. Show falls down to a seated position in the corner and Bryan begins to repeatedly kick him in the chest. Show eventually manages to catch Bryan’s foot and throws him back. Bryan gets to his feet and stumbles back into his corner and gets the tag to Kane. Kane steps over the top rope and squares up to Show in the centre of the ring. Kane throws the first punch and clocks Show over the jaw with a right hand before Show responds with a right hand of his own. Kane stumbles back a little but comes right back with a clothesline which causes Show to stumble back into the ropes. Kane charges at him and hits him with a clothesline which causes Show to slowly fall over the top rope to the outside. However, before Show went fully over the top rope Cara was able to reach over and tag himself in. Cara jumps up onto the top rope before springboarding over and catching Kane with a big hurricanrana which sends him packing into his corner. Kane gets to his feet and slaps Bryan’s chest, tagging the Intercontinental Champion in. Bryan gets in the ring and begins walking over to meet Cara but Kane spins him around and instead nails him with a Chokeslam. Kane shakes his head at the fallen Bryan before leaving the ring and heading backstage with his United States Championship in hand. Cara wastes little time and drops down on top of Bryan to get the three count.]

Spoiler:

[Cara gets back to his feet and throws his arms up in the air before he is joined by Show in the ring. The two celebrate their victory in the ring as the highlights are shown leading to the finish.]

~

[Josh Mathews stands in the interview area and is joined by RAW’s newest superstar, Seth Rollins. Josh starts off by congratulating Seth on a successful first two weeks on the RAW roster. Josh then goes on to say that tonight he faces a much bigger opponent in Brodus Clay. Josh asks Seth how he can be able to prepare himself for a fight with a guy so much bigger than him, to which Seth just laughs. Seth says that it doesn’t matter how big the fighter is, it is how big the fight he has and Seth says that he has the biggest fight out of the two of them and later on tonight he will prove that to the entire WWE Universe.]

~

[Drew McIntyre is standing backstage in the hallway with Vickie Guerrero when Curt Hawkins and Tyler Reks walk over with their WWE Tag Team Championships over their shoulders. Stephanie turns to Vince and tells him that he needs to stop this. Stephanie tells Vince that the Board Of Directors chose Triple H to run the day to day business but were kind enough to allow Vince to remain as the Chairman. Stephanie tells Vince that he needs to accept this fact and leave it be before things get out of hand. Vince is quick to retort and shouts at Stephanie to shut up. Vince says that Stephanie has always been a spoiled little brat and he has had enough. Vince says that Stephanie better get out of the ring because if she doesn’t she is going to get hurt. Triple H’s eyes flare up at this and he steps in between Stephanie and Vince, telling Vince not to lay a hand on her. Vince laughs and tells Triple H that he wasn’t planning on it.]

Your Time Is Up, My Time Is Now!

Check One Two!

[The fans continue to cheer as Jack Swagger slowly walks out onto the stage. He joins Cena before the two charge down the ramp and jump in the ring. Brock runs at Cena and Orton lunges at Swagger but both men see them coming. Swagger grabs Orton by the waist before hitting him with a belly to belly suplex which sends him flying over the top rope to the outside. Cena then kicks Brock in the midsection before tossing him over the top rope to the outside. The two men then turn to Vince who scurries out of the ring and runs around to join Brock and Randy at the bottom of the ramp. Triple H says that he knew Vince would do this so he made a couple of phone calls and got these two guys on his side. Triple H asks Vince if he really wants his company back, to which Vince obviously says yes. Triple H says that if he really wants it then he will face him at Summerslam. Vince, Randy and Brock will go up against Triple H, John and Jack. Vince looks at both men at either side of him before turning back to Triple H and nodding. There is a massive onslaught of cheers from the crowd as Triple H throws down his mic. He looks around at them all with a glare on his face as he slowly makes his way down the ramp. He hops onto the apron and steps in the ring before grabbing a mic. Miz starts off by telling the crowd that they’re welcome that he joined the Smackdown roster. Miz says that tonight he will be competing in the Main Event and he doesn’t care who he faces because regardless of who it is, he will easily beat them. Miz says that there is a new era here on Smackdown and it is the Era of Awesome and soon enough, he will be the WWE Champion again.]

August 13th 2012

[RAW comes on the air as Monster blares through the speakers. The commentators introduce us to the show before the camera sweeps over the crowd, showing many signs. The camera snaps round to the ring as Vince McMahon’s music hits and the Chairman of the WWE walks out onto the stage. Vince looks around at the booing fans with a sly grin on his face as he struts down the ramp. He stomps up the steps and gets in the ring before grabbing a mic. He steps into the centre of the ring and looks around at the crowd before finally speaking. Vince starts off by reminding everyone that in just six days the WWE will host the 25th anniversary of Summerslam. Vince says that at this event the control of the WWE will be on the line as Triple H, John Cena and Jack Swagger will take on himself, Brock Lesnar and Randy Orton. There is a massive pop from the crowd at the mention of this match but Vince quickly tells them to shut up. Vince goes on to say that there is one tiny little detail that he forgot to mention last week when Triple H made the challenge. Vince says that due to his age, he is unable to compete in the match this Sunday but he has come up with a worthy solution. Vince says that he won’t be competing in the match this Sunday but there will be a McMahon fighting the name. Vince points up the ramp and the crowd are already cheering as they know who is coming.]

Here Comes The Money!

[The crowd jump to their feet as Shane McMahon dances out onto the stage in a suit. Shane looks around at the crowd with a grin on his face as he walks down the ramp to join his father in the ring. The two men embrace before Vince turns back to the crowd and informs them that this Sunday a McMahon will win the match to ensure that the McMahons remain in control of the WWE forever. Vince then throws down the mic and raises Shane’s arm in the air to boos from the crowd as the scene fades.]

~

[We open up in the parking lot area as a limousine pulls up just outside of the entrance to the arena. Triple H steps out of the back door to massive cheers from the crowd. Triple H appears to be extremely pissed off and presumably has just heard about Vince pulling out of the match. Triple H heads into the arena with a determined look upon his face.]

~

[We come back to the ring and Sin Cara makes his way out with Justin Roberts announcing that this will be the second Semi Final of the Tag Team #1 Contender Tournament. Cara gets in the ring and Big Show is out next to massive cheers from the crowd. Show gets in the ring before The Miz & Christian make their way out to boos from the crowd. The two men get in the ring and we are ready to get this one underway.]

Sin Cara & Big Show versus The Miz & Christian ~ Tag Team #1 Contender Tournament Semi Final

[Cara starts things off against Miz in this one. Cara runs at Miz as soon as the bell rings but Miz meets Cara with a stiff kick to the midsection. Miz hits Cara with a right hand over the jaw before taking him down with a big clothesline. Miz drops down on top of Cara but he is able to quickly kick out. Miz gets back to his feet and pulls Cara up before throwing him into the corner. Miz holds Cara against the turnbuckles and tags in Christian, who quickly gets in the ring. Christian kicks Cara in the midsection before lifting him up and nailing him with the suplex. Christian hooks the leg of Cara but he is quick to kick out and Christian gets back to his feet. Christian waits for Cara to get back to his feet before grabbing him by the head and smashing it off of the top turnbuckle. Christian does this a couple more times before throwing him to the centre of the ring. Christian jumps up onto the second rope and waits for Cara to get up before diving down and hitting the crossbody. Christian hooks the leg again and manages to get a two count this time before he kicks out. Christian gets to his feet and begins dragging Cara to the corner but Cara kicks Christian hard in the head, causing him to release his grip. Christian stumbles back into his corner and Miz tags himself in as Cara rolls over to his corner and gets the tag to Show. Show steps in the ring over the top rope and catches a charging Miz with a big shoulder block that sends him sprawling to the mat. Miz gets back to his feet but Show is there to meet him and throws him across the ring before going to meet him with a clothesline on the rebound. Miz manages to duck underneath it and runs off the ropes before coming back with a low dropkick right to the knee. Show falls to both knees and Miz grabs his head for the DDT but Show gets to his feet, lifting Miz up into the air. Show lifts Miz up even higher before tossing him in front of him, causing him to land hard on his front. Show cocks his fist and is getting himself set up for the WMD. Miz gets to his feet and Show throws the right hand but Miz drops to the mat, getting out of the way. Miz gets up and walks away from Show but Show turns and charges at Miz, only for Miz to move out of the way and send Show crashing into the referee. Show looks on in shock as the referee falls to the outside in pain. Christian wastes little time and runs to the outside, picking up a chair from ringside. Cara sees what Christian is doing and runs across the apron before going to dive down at Christian but is met by a massive chair shot to the ribs. Cara falls to the ground in serious pain and Christian throws the chair into Miz in the ring. Miz catches the chair and instantly swings at the back of Show but it doesn’t appear to hurt Show, only angering him. Show turns and begins to corner Miz but Christian comes in with another chair in hand and hits Show over the back. This one seems to hurt Show as he stumbles but then turns to go after Christian. Miz then takes another shot at Show, this time to the legs. Show’s legs buckle and he falls to his knees. Miz and Christian then both get their chairs in hand and both hit Show over the head hard at the same time. An extremely dazed Show falls down to the mat and Miz throws his chair out before making the cover. Christian throws his chair out as well before leaving the ring and getting the referee up. Christian rolls the referee in the ring and he makes the slow three count to give Miz and Christian the win.]

Spoiler:

[Miz gets back to his feet and embraces Christian as they are announced the winners. They both have their arms raised in victory before motioning for the Championships to be around their waists.]

He makes his way down the ramp before grabbing a mic and getting in the ring with Rock. Punk tells Rock that he can talk about winning the WWE Championship all he wants but he better stop overlooking CM Punk because he is not as easy to beat as Rock believes. Rock just laughs and says that when he looks at Punk he doesn’t see a wrestler who could possibly be the best in the world; he sees someone who needs to get their ass handed to them. Rock says that this Sunday he is going to put Punk in his place when he whoops his candy ass! Rock goes to say something else but Punk slaps the mic out of his hand and gets in his face. Punk says that he is sick of Rock and this Sunday he will prove him and everyone else wrong when he lays him out and gets the 1..2..3. Kofi tells Eden that he has spoken to Roddy Piper and has managed to get his Open Challenge in the Main Event tonight. Kofi assures Eden he will win that match later before walking off.]

Roddy says it is a good thing he walked in when he did because he was just trying to figure out who should face Kane later on tonight. [Kofi Kingston makes his way out to the ring with his Smackdown Money In The Bank briefcase in his hand when we get back to the ring. He gets in the ring and hands over his briefcase before Jack Swagger makes his way out with Abraham Washington to answer the challenge. Jack gets in the ring and seems very focused as Kofi just stares back at him.]

Kofi Kingston [Smackdown Money In The Bank Holder] versus Jack Swagger w/ Abraham Washington

[Kofi and Jack go straight at it the moment the bell rings and trade rights and lefts in the middle of the ring. Jack takes control of the match and knocks Kofi back into the ropes with hard right after hard right. Jack throws Kofi across the ring and goes to catch him on the rebound with a clothesline but Kofi ducks underneath before running off the ropes himself and coming back off the ropes with a big forearm shot to the top of his head. Jack staggers back into the ropes and Kofi charges at him before sending him crashing to the outside with a big dropkick. Kofi gets back to his feet and laughs as Jack pulls himself to his feet with the help of the announce table. Jack gets upright and turns to head back inside the ring but Kofi throws himself over the top rope, landing on Jack with a big crossbody. Kofi rolls off of Jack and gets to his feet before sliding in the ring as the referee starts the ten count. Jack doesn’t stir until the referee is at the count of four and finally rolls in the ring after the referee counts six. Kofi goes straight on the attack and begins to stomp away at Jack before pulling him to his feet and hitting him with a hurricarna that sends him across the ring. Kofi quickly makes the cover on Jack but he is able to get his foot on the bottom rope before the referee counts the three. Kofi gets back up and glares at the referee before turning to pull Jack to his feet. Jack sees him coming and punches him hard in the midsection which causes Kofi to double over. Jack hits Kofi with an uppercut to the jaw before climbing to his feet and turning Kofi inside out with a massive clothesline. Jack makes the cover on Kofi but only gets the two count before Kofi is able to kick out. Jack gets back to his feet and drags Kofi up with him before lifting him up for the Gutwrench Powerbomb but Kofi manages to use the momentum to get out of Jack’s grip and land on his feet behind him. Jack turns around and Kofi goes for the Trouble In Paradise but Jack catches Kofi’s foot before he hits him and quickly snaps on the Ankle Lock. The crowd are on their feet as it looks like Jack is on the verge of winning the Smackdown Money In The Bank briefcase. Kofi reaches out for the bottom rope but is too far away and is completely unable to turn the hold around to get out of Jack’s grasp. The fans begin to boo and, wondering why, Jack releases his hold to turn around. As soon as he does so, he finds Randy Orton waiting for him who jumps up and nails Jack with the RKO.]

Winner by DQ: Jack Swagger (therefore Kofi is still Smackdown Money In The Bank Holder)

[Orton gets back to his feet and stands over Jack as he is announced the winner. Kofi leaves the ring, hobbling, and grabs his briefcase before heading backstage. AW gets in the ring and shouts at Orton to get the hell out of the ring. Orton turns on AW and stares across at him with a glare. AW begins to back up but Orton grabs him by the collar and pulls him into the centre of the ring, getting in his face. Tyson Kidd and Booker T rush down the ramp to come to the aid of their manager. Orton throws AW away and turns as Kidd and Booker get in the ring. Kidd runs at Orton first and is met with a snap scoop powerslam from Orton. Orton gets back up and instantly catches Booker with a big RKO. Orton then gets back to his feet as Kidd does the same and nails Kidd with an RKO. Orton gets back up and AW goes to hit him before he gets to his feet but Orton springs up and nails the RKO on AW as well. The crowd are majorly booing Orton now as he stands in the centre of the ring with the camera panning out to show the four men sprawled out around him. Orton shouts into the camera that this will be the last night under Triple H’s control before throwing his arms up in his signature taunt. Smackdown goes off the air with Orton’s actions and words still firmly at the centre of our attention.]
