PWR Newswire
~ The local who particiapted in the Adonis Lock challenge at rise of the phoenix was Ricky Marvin
~ In regard to the releases this week. There are a few more expected to come also
~ The main reason for the release of Teddy Hart was due to the fact that he was not well liked backstage and regarded as dangerous in the ring. Rocky Romero's release was due to the fact that he had developed a bad attitude as of late regarding his standing in the company. PWR was planning on a possible latin stable involving him at the top of the group but it got pushed back down the line when the Regime storyline began. Brent Albright's release was one PWR did not want to do but Albright started trying to hold out for more money knowing he was set to debut as part of a tag team with Harry Smith. PWR officials instead released him. Whether this will affect Harry Smith is unknown. Rhyno's release was a mutual agreement between PWR and Rhyno. Officials have loved working with him and may bring him back down the line.
~ Shaun Ricker has been signed to a contract with PWR. Ricker is most known for his time in NWA Hollywood. Many expect PWR to push him straight from his debut. PWR has also brought in his manager Percy Pringle iii to give Ricker more credibility among the fans.
~ This year's King Of Lion's cup may see more then just the winner signed to a contract. After last years cup in which we saw Prince Devitt, Giant Bernard, Willie Mack, Chuck Taylor, Frightmare, Elix Skipper, Ryan Taylor and CIMA. PWR only signed Bernard and Devitt who made it to the final. Many felt this was a wasted oppourtunity by PWR especially since Willie Mack's emergence in PWR has led to him becoming one of the most popular guys on the roster. Out of Taylor, Frightmare, Skipper, Cima and Taylor many see Taylor and Cima as being likely to join the company some point this year.
~ Rumours have been going round today. That Dave Prazak discovered a contract for a new talent who had been signed by Animal a few weeks before his departure. Apparently the individual had been sent on a tour of japan by animal to get himself fully prepared for PWR so he is most likely unaware of the hostile enviroment he will be in soon. The only things known about this talent is he is an ex WWE superstar.

King of Lion's Cup Press conference Highlights
~ The conference featured PAC, Ricochet, Synn Bowdee, Doug Basham, Conrad Kennedy, Kenny Omega and Ricky Reyes ~ Drew Hankinson No showed the conference as he has with any other activity signed for him to participate in ~ PAC, Omega and Ricochet all come off extremely well in the conference. Being very respectful and humble to the other participants ~ Conrad Kennedy on the other hand was full of smack talk as he dressed down all his oppoosition in the tournament and also proclaimed himself as a man wiht talent on loan from God ~ Basham also participated in smack talk but he mainly directed it towards PAC and Omega calling them 'Indy Darlings' ~ Synn Bowdee provided much of the humour at the conference by making some very bizarre answers to questions he was asked. Bowdee aslo began talking in gibberish towards the end which enfuriated Ricky Reyes. ~ Reyes was openly hostile throughout the press conference. Many felt Reyes did not want to be there what so ever and he projected that onto the reporters. ~ All the participants bar Bowdee and Reyes were dressed in suits ~ It was also confirmed that Prince Devitt will be on hand as a guest commentator at the Tournament ~ The Drew Hankinson attitude was discussed and many found it strange how where as the others were promoting themselves and building up support he wanted none of it. Instead Hankinson was beleived to be training

Dark Match II: Mike Mondo and Mikael Judas beat Low Rider and Jamin Olivencia Mondo got the win after a bulldog on Low Rider
[As the second ever King of Lion's Cup opens. The crowd in attendance cheers loudly. On the big screen a 3 minute long video highlight reel plays of the 8 men involved tonight. After the video ends we cut to the fans in attendance. Many are holding signs up for the man doing the draw in the tournament tonight 'Edge'. A loud 'Rated R' chant can also be heard from the crowd. We then go to the commentary table where Scott Steiner and Todd Grisham are seated. However they have a guest with them tonight in the man who won the first King of Lion's Cup Prince Devitt.]
Todd: Ladies and gentleman. Welcome to the second ever King of Lion's Cup. My name is Todd Grisham and joining me as always is Scott Steiner. But tonight we also have another man here with us in Prince Devitt.
Scott: Now Devitt of course has been through this before. So do you have any insight to what the participants are feeling right now?
Devitt: Well I remember when I was standing in the back at this point. I had butterflies in my stomach and I was looking round at my competition. Unfortunately I was stood next to Giant Bernard and that made me even more nervous. To be fair though look at the devastation he is causing now up North and you can see why I was so nervous. But this tournament is more then just a 8 man format with a cool name. This can change your life. You get a contract with PWR for winning. You go from toiling on the indies trying to support your family to gaining national exposure.
Scott: Well without further ado let's go to our ring announcer Lucy.....
[Grisham coughs and can be heard saying 'Lacey' Under his breath.]
Scott: I mean Lacey.
[We then cut to the ring where Lacey is standing next to a small roller cage which is filled with 8 numbered balls.]
Lacey: At this time allow me to introduce the man doing the draw for the King of Lion's Cup. He is the Rated R Superstar Edge.
{Insert Theme for Edge}
[The crowd explode in cheers as Edge's theme plays. As Edge walks out from the back dressed in a suit some extremely loud Edge chants can be heard. As he walks down to the ring highfiving fans. A loud Thank you Edge chant begins. Once in the ring Edge is handed a microphone.]
Edge: Before I start. I want to thank each and everyone of you for that response right there. It means a lot. Now I have to admit when I was asked to do the drawing for PWR. I was unsure at first what to think. I had never really took the chance to have a look at PWR but I knew that they had some great talent. So I decided to check out some of their past shows including the first King Of Lion's Cup and I thought that I would have a lot of fun doing the draw for this tournament after Batista told me how much he enjoyed his trip here last year. So far I have been very impressed with the brand and the Pro Wrestlers they have under contract.
[The crowd in attendance cheers loudly and begins a PWR chant.]
Edge: So Then why don't we bring out the men set to compete in the tournament.
[The crowd again pops.]
Lacey: Introducing Participant number one. He stands at 6'7 and weighs in at 291 pounds. Hailing from Cumberland Maryland 'The Outlaw' Drew Hankinson.
[The crowd boos loudly as the antisocial Drew Hankinson slowly walks out from the back. Hankinson then takes his place on the ramp.]
Lacey: Introducing participant number two. He stands 6'2 and weighs in at 235 pounds. From Wizard Beach 'The Warlord of Weird' Synn Bowdee.
[The bizzare and strange Bowdee walks out from the back as the crowd give him a mixed response.]
Lacey: Introducing Participant Number Three. He stands at 6'0 and weighs in at 202 pounds. From Manitoba Canada 'The Cornerstone' Kenny Omega.
[The crowd cheers as Omega slowly walks out from the back.]
Lacey: Introducing participant number four. He stands 5'10 and weighs in at 163 pounds. From Paducah Kentucky 'The Future of Flight' Ricochet.
[Another loud cheer comes from the crowd as Ricochet walks out from the back.]
Lacey: Here is Participant number Five. He stands at 6'2 and weighs in at 245 pounds. From Tampa Florida he is the 'Bashman' Doug Basham.
[As the arrogant Basham walks out from the back wearing a pair of mirrored shades the crowd boos.]
Lacey: Introducing Participant number six. Standing at 5'9 and weighing in at 192 pounds. From Havana Cuba 'The Havana Pitbull' Ricky Reyes.
[Reyes walks out from the back to a mixed reaction from the crowd.]
Lacey: Participant number seven. He stands 6'1 and weighs in at 235 pounds. From Greenwich Connecticut 'The man with Talent on Laon from God' Conrad Kennedy iii.
[The crowd boos loudly as Conrad walks out from the back. Conrad is full of confidence as he takes his spot on the ramp.]
Lacey: And finally. Participant Number Eight. He stands 5'8 and weighs in at 171 pounds. From Newcastle England he is 'The Man that Gravity Forgot' Pac.
[PAc gets one of the loudest cheers as he walks out from the back.]
Edge: Now first of all guys. I want to congratulate all of you for making it this far. So best of luck to all of you as the draw begins.
[The roller cage is spinned by Lacey who then lifts open the small door on the cage. Edge then reaches his arm in and draws out a number.]
Edge: Number Seven. Conrad Kennedy.
[The brash Conrad stands forward as the crowd boos. Edge then draws another number]
Edge: And his opponent Number Two Synn Bowdee.
[As Bowdee walks forward. Kennedy smirks. The two men then stare at each other for a second with Conrad talking trash. Kennedy then walks backstage followed by Bowdee. Edge then draws another number.]
Edge: Number Three Kenny Omega.
[Omega steps forward as the crowd roars.]
Edge: Number Four Ricochet.
[The crowd explodes in cheers as Ricochet steps forward. The two men then shake hands before also walking backstage. Just then Edge is about to draw another number when a disturbance can be heard from the crowd. Just then a man hops over the rail and lays out the security before climbing into the ring. As he gets in the ring he is recognised as Lance Archer. Archer gets ahold of the microphone from lacey as Edge looks confused.]
Archer: Stop right now. Don't you dare draw another number out. There is no way any of these pathetic losers deserve a shot at a title before me. Nor do any of them deserve a contract with PWR. I am 'The American Psycho' Lance Archer and I am demanding that I am added to the tournament right now!'
[The crowd boos loudly.]
Archer: If I am not added then I will make it my mission to not only make all 8 men involved suffer. But I will also beat down the man a lot of you paid to see. In the Rated R Superstar.
[Archer stares at Edge who looks like he is getting ready to scrap. However just then Todd Grisham stands up from the announcer's table.]
Todd: Excuse me. Can I have your attention everyone. I have just recieved confirmation from PWR Managment that Lance Archer is in fact going to be added to the King of Lion's Cup Tournament.
[The crowd in attendance boos.]
Todd: However Lance. You will not be taking one of these Wrestler's spots in the match. Instead your match will be a triple threat match with the next two men whose names are drawn.
[The crowd in attendance cheers. As Archer starts to argue. Edge reaches into the cage and draws out Two Numbers.]
Edge: So tonight it will be Lance Archer vs Ricky Reyes vs Drew Hankinson.
[Reyes can be seen nodding his head as Hankinson just stares right at Archer. The crowd erupt in cheers again.]
Edge: Which of course means that kicking off the show tonight we have Doug Basham taking on PAC.
[The crowd cheers at the announcement. PAC and Basham then make their way to the ring as we cut to a commercial.]
~~~~~~~~~~ {Commercial Break} ~~~~~~~~~~
Todd: What a match we have right now to kick off the show. As Doug Basham takes on Pac.
Scott: Experience and size goes to Doug and speed and overall Dynamicism goes to Pac.
Devitt: Well I for one am looking forward to this match. PAC is a close friend of mine so even though I am supposed to be unbiased. I have to admit I am rooting for him.
Todd: Honestly Devitt. That's completely unbiased when you consider how my broadcast partner here Scott Steiner acts to his favourites
Match One: PAC vs Doug Basham - First round Match
The bell rings to start the match and these two men circle each other. PAC and Basham lock up with Basham taking control early on. Basham knees Pac in the gut before sending him into the ropes before catching him with a powerslam.As the arrogant Basham gets to his feet he begins to taunt the crowd before dropping and elbow on PAC. Doug then follows up by dragging PAC to his feet and attempting a Slingshot Suplex only for PAC to drop behind and land a nasty reverse hurricanrana. PAC then follows up with a hurricanrana which sends Basham across the ring. As Basham gets to his feet he is met with a dropkick. Pac then follows up with a big tornado DDT on Basham before raising his arm in the air. As the crowd cheers loudly PAC then climbs up to the top rope. PAC then goes for a big crossbody on Basham but Doug catchs him and plants him with a spinning side slam.
As Basham gets to his feet the crowd boos loudly. Doug then lifts PAC up and plants him with a sit out spinebuster for a quick near fall. Doug then gets to his feet and raises both of his arms in the air before stalking PAC to his feet. As PAC is up Doug attempts a leaping Enzugiri kick only for PAC to avoid it. Basham hits the mat hard and as he staggers to his feet PAC catches him with a Bridging Tiger Suplex. PAC keeps Doug's shoulders down and the ref begins to count the fall. One....Two.....Three.
Lacey: And the winner of the match PAC.
[PAC gets to his feet and raises his arms in the air to the roar of the crowd. PAC then leaves the ring and makes his way backstage.]
Todd: A big win for Pac right there. At first it looked like he was in trouble when Basham set up for that nasty Enzugiri kick of his.
Scott: Doug has been known to KO with that shot so all I can say is good on Pac for having ther where with all to avoid it. Basham crashed on the mat and winded himself which then allowed PAC to catch him with the Tiger Suplex.
Devitt: Now the question is does being the first one up give Pac an advantage or disadvantage. I mean sure he can study all the others but also he now has a long wait in between matches which may allow fatigue to set in.
~~~~~~~~~~~
[Backstage in the parking lot. Drew Hankinson can be seen sitting on the steps with his back pressed against the railing. As Drew sits there silent a few people in the background are very uneasy around Hankinson. Just then Ricky Reyes approaches Hankinson. Drew is not happy at Reyes approaching him and he gets up from the steps like he is ready to fight now.]
{Reyes} 'Drew hang on a second. I am not here to fight you man. Tonight we got a match which has some pretty high stakes. Why am I going to sabotage that right now?'
[Hankinson just stares at Reyes.]
{Reyes} 'But now we have a problem. His name is Lance Archer. He has somehow wriggled his way into the tournament and has took a place in our match. Now that must bother you as much as it does me. I mean come on we earnt our way in this tournament. We both one qualifying matches and he just comes along and bitches his way into the tournament.'
[Hankinson lowers his arms obviously he is more willing to listen to Reyes now.]
{Reyes} 'So look tonight in our match. I propose we eliminate the American Psycho from the equation. Before we have the rightful match between each other. What do you say Drew?'
[Reyes extends his arm for a handshake. Drew stares down at his arm.]
{Drew} 'I'll Think about it.'
[Hankinson then walks past Reyes and walks through the doorway leading him into the hallway of the arena. Reyes begins to smirk as we cut back to ringside.]
~~~~~~~~~~~
Todd: A Reyes/Hankinson duo could certainly do some damage. I would say I feel sorry for Archer but he has brought it all on himself.
Scott: Well speaking of bringing things on themselves up next we have the freakish Synn Bowdee taking on Conrad Kenneddy iii. Kennedy when the match was announced mouthed off to Bowdee so it will be interesting to see if he is made to pay for it.
Devitt: The real danger with Bowdee is he is so weird and being as weird as he is makes him incredibly unpredictable and wild. So he may catch Conrad with something so surprising that it keeps Kennedy down.
Match Two: Conrad Kennedy iii vs Synn Bowdee
The bell rings to start the match and for some reason Bowdee crouches down in a squat position. Kennedy looks a bit confused before smirking arrogantly. Kennedy then charges at Bowdee but Synn quickly pops up and clotheslines Kennedy. Bowdee then follows up with another clothesline before following up with a jumping snapmare. Bowdee then monkey flips Conrad who then rolls out on the apron to compose himself. Synn tries to attack Kennedy but Conrad pokes him in the eye. Conrad then performs a stun gun bringing Bowdee chest first across the ropes. Kennedy then rolls back in the ring and lands a running dropkick to the downed Synn's head. Conrad then attempts a cover for a quick nearfall.
As Bowdee slowly staggers to his feet. Conrad sets him up for the Chump Change but after kicking him in the gut and getting him in position. Bowdee manages to push Conrad away before catching him with a big boot to the face. Bowdee then follows up with a running polish Hammer on Kennedy. Bowdee then attmempts the Tallulah Bell but Conrad spins out of it and sends him hard into the ring post. Kennedy then catches Bowdee with the Ode to Tully as the crowd boos. Conrad then lifts a stunned Bowdee to his feet and plants him with the Chump Change '00. Kennedy then hooks the leg for a cover. One...Two....Three
Lacey: And the winner of the match and advancing in the tournament Conrad Kennedy.
[As the crowd boos loudly. Conrad slowly gets to his feet. Kennedy then raises his arms in the air to more boos before placing his foot on the chest of Bowdee. Kennedy then rolls under the ropes to the outside where he taunts the fans and proclaims himself the next King of lion's cup winner. Conrad then makes his way backstage as the crowd in attendance boos.]
Todd: There you have it. The guy with the biggest ego in the world just got through to the next round. It appears Kennedy can back up his smack talk.
Scott: Now take nothing away from Bowdee. He put up a fight and has some downright strange offense which led to him taking conrad to the limit. But he come up short and conrad beat him.
Devitt: Well in the next round. It will be Conrad taking on PAC. Now these two are complete opposites so it will be very interesting to see them square off.
~~~~~~~~~~ {Commercial Break} ~~~~~~~~~~
Todd: Welcome back fans. So far in the King of Lion's cup both Pac and Conrad Kennedy have progressed to the next round. Up next we have a match between two incredibly talented athletes in Kenny Omega and Ricochet.
Devitt: I know both of these guys personally and I have to say. When this match was announced I was extremely excited. Both men have unorthodox styles with Omega utilizing some strange offense and Ricochet prefering to fly round the ring.
Scott: Well then let's see which one is the better man right now.
Match Three: Kenny Omega vs Ricochet
The bell rings and these two men shake hands before tying up. Omega sends Ricochet into the ropes and leapfrops him as he comes back off the ropes. Omega then drops down for a backdrop but Ricochet leap frogs him. As Ricochet again comes off the ropes Omega attempts a dropkick but Ricochet does the same at the same time. Both men then get to theit feet and Omega tries for a clothesline but Ricochet kicks his legs out from under him before attempting a quick pin for a 1 count. Omega then gets to his feet and Ricochet attempts a spin kick only for Kenny to duck under and school boy him for a 1 count. Both men then hop to their feet and nod their head towards the other in a sign of respect before Ricochet attempts another spin kick. This time Kenny ducks under and then meets him with a dropkick. Omega then follows up with a cross body block for a quick near fall.
Kenny then tries for a suplex but Ricochet ducks behind and hits him with a neckbreaker. Ricochet then hits a standing moonsault. Omega slowly staggers to his feet and it met with a running bulldog by Ricochet. Ricochet then begins to climb to the top rope. As Ricochet gets to the top he signals for The Double Rotation Moonsault. The crowd in attendance are buzzing expecting something big when Omega hops to his feet and hits Ricochet in the gut. Omega then climbs up to the top rope. Omega then lands another shot on Ricochet before attempting a top rope Hurricanrana. However Ricochet pushes Omega off. Omega crashes stomach first on the mat before rolling onto his back. Ricochet then comes off the top with a breathtaking 450 splash. Ricochet then hooks the leg for a cover. One....Two.....Omega kicks out.
As a shocked Ricochet gets to his feet. The crowd in attendance cheers loudly. Ricochet then signals for the Burning Screwdriver. As Omega staggers to his feet. Ricochet tries to clamp on the Cobra Clutch to start the moves but Omega manaes to land a back elbow which appears to rock Ricochet. As Ricochet is staggers Omega lands the Flash Man's Time Stopper on Ricochet. Omega then follows up with the EX Hadouken to the roar of the crowd. Omega then waits for a stunned Ricochet to get to his feet before landing the Aoi Shoudou. Omega then covers Ricochet. One....Two.....Three.
Lacey: And the winner of the match Kenny Omega.
[As the crowd roars. Kenny Omega slowly gets to his feet. After getting his arm raised in the air. Omega walks over to Ricochet and helps him too his feet. The two men shake hands before Omega raises Ricochet's arm in the air. The crowd in attendance cheers loudly as both Omega and Ricochet stand proud in the ring.]
Todd: Now that was one hell of a match. Both men gave their all but in the end it was Kenny Omega who managed to pull out the victory.
Scott: Yeah but in a match like that there is no winner or loser. Both men went balls to the wall and tore it up. If PWR management had any sense it would give Ricochet and Omega a contract.
Devitt: I totally agree. Omega and Ricochet really went for it and both did all they could to win. In my opinion these two are both finalist worthy.
~~~~~~~~~~
Todd: Up next is the final first round tournament match. Originally this match would have been Ricky Reyes vs Drew Hankinson. But earlier tonight Lance Archer waged war on the Lion's cup. Demanding entrance into tourney and threatening our special guest Edge.
Scott: You know normally I like people doing mad stuff like that to get notice. But by no means should he have threatend Edge. Edge was just doing his job in the draw and has no authority as to the talent. Plus everyone knows Edge is unable to compete. So in my opinion Archer is a Thug plain and simple.
Devitt: Yeah Archer is definitely not going about it the right way. I mean I am pretty sure a lot of the guys in the back are not happy. Edge is one cool dude and this outsider just threatens him. What a dick.
Match Four: Lance Archer vs Ricky Reyes vs Drew Hankinson
The bell rings and the three men circle each other. As quick as anything however both Reyes and Hankinson jump 'The American Psycho'. Reyes and Hankinson land several punches and forearms to Archer before hitting him with a double clothesline. Hankinson then hits the ropes and lands a running big boot to the face of Archer. Reyes then drops a knee across the face of Archer before Drew drops a leg drop. The two men then stomp away at Lance before lifting him up and sending him into the ropes. As Lance springs off the ropes Drew meets him with a knee to the gut and Reyes follows up with a knee to the head. Archer drops to the mat and appears to be out. But as Ricky goes for a cover he is stopped by Hankinson.
Hankinson and Reyes begin shoving each other back and forth before Reyes headbutts Hankinson. Drew staggers back and Ricky attempts to forearm him but Hankinson catches him with a headbutt of his own. Drew then knees Reyes in the gut and follows up with a gutwrench suplex. Hankinson then makes a cover for a quick near fall. As Reyes slowly staggers to his feet he is kicked in the gut by Hankinson who then sets him up for a powerbomb. Reyes manages to mounvre out of it before catching Drew with a DDT. Ricky then begins to set up for the Avalanche Brainbuster but Drew manages to block it and sets Reyes up for the 12th Step. But as Drew lifts Reyes up he is low blowed by Archer. Archer follows up with a boot to the head of Drew before also landing a boot to the head of Reyes. Archer then lifts Hankinson to his feet before planting him with a nasty chokeslam. As Reyes then staggers to his feet Archer signals for the end and kicks him in the gut before dropping him with the Final Days. Archer then makes the cover. One....Two.....Three.
Lacey: And the winner of the match and going through to the next round Lance Archer.
[As Archer gets to his feet the crowd in attendance boos loudly. Lance then makes his way to the ropes leaving the ring as both Hankinson and Reyes are still down on the mat.]
Todd: Albeit by dubious methods but still. The American Psycho Lance Archer is moving on to the second round.
Scott: Archer was smart he took a beating at the start and then played possum waiting for the oppourtune moment. Lance then capitalised and got the win.
Devitt: It was a very smart move as you said Scott. He let them do the work and then took advantage. In the next round however his match will be one on one as he takes on Kenny Omega. So I don't see him stealing that win.
~~~~~~~~~~
[We then cut backstage to the office of Bret Dibiase. Dibiase is talking on his iPhone but when he sees the camera. He quickly hangs up.]
{Brett} 'Now I have to say. So far I have been very impressed with the King of Lion's Cup. There are some extremely talented individuals here. From Kenny Omega to even our late entrant Lance Archer. It is berefit of talent. However I am now going to do something the old PWR management would never do. I am going to give the 5 men eliminated a chance.'
[Dibiase smiles before continuing.]
{Brett} 'I am going to book a 5 man match tonight with the 5 men tonight. Now there are no guarantees for the winner or any of you for a contract. But if you want to increase your chances you only have to do one thing. Impress me. My opinion is what matters in this. So if you want a chance at redeeming yourself and getting a contract go out there and wow me.'
[Dibiase then smirks before picking up his phone and beginning texting. Just then we cut to a commercial.]
~~~~~~~~~~~ {Commercial Break} ~~~~~~~~~~~~
Todd: Up next we have our first semi final match as PAC battles Conrad Kennedy. Pac beat Doug Basham in the first round and Kennedy beat Synn Bowdee.
Scott: Both of these men have momentum on their side. The question is who can use their's to it's fullest and pull out the win in this clash of styles.
Devitt: Kennedy is more tactical I will say then PAC. He targets body parts specifically designed to affect the opponents style. So if I was Pac I would expect Kennedy to go for my legs. Basically to cut out his highflying moves.
Match Five: PAC vs Conrad Kennedy
The bell rings and the match starts. As they go to tie up the craft Kennedy side steps Pac and stomps on the back of his calf. Which buckles the leg of PAC. Conrad then follows up with a knee to the head of PAC before following up with a swinging neckbreaker. Kennedy then makes a cover but PAC kicks out at 1. Kennedy then gets to his feet and lifts up Pac before hitting him with a snap suplex. Conrad then makes his way over to the turnbuckle before climbing up and coming off with an elbow drop. As the crowd boos Kennedy then raises his arms in the air. PAC slowly gets to his feet but is met with a running knee smash by Kennedy. Conrad then begins to set up for a Figure Four Leg Lock on PAC but as he hooks the legs Pac small packages him for a quick near fall.
Pac then follows up with a quick spin kick before attempting a Tiger Suplex only for Conrad to duck behind and send Pac into the turnbuckle. Conrad then hits the Ode To Tully on PAC for a near fall. As Conrad gets to his feet he is clearly getting frustrated. Kennedy then lifts PAC up and sets him up for the Death Valley Driver but PAC starts landing a series of elbows to the side of Conrad's head. PAC then drops behind and hits Conrad with a reverse DDT. PAC then hits the ropes and attempts a running shooting star press but Kennedy rolls out of the way and PAC hits the canvas hard. A smug Kennedy then gets to his feet and lifts up PAC before kicking him in the gut. Kennedy then plants PAC with the Chump Change before making the cover. One....Two.....PAC Kicks out!
Conrad is in shock as he gets to his feet. The disbelief is apparent as then drags PAC to his feet. Kennedy then kicks him in the gut before setting up for the Chump Change '00. However as Conrad taunts the crowd it allows PAC to spin out and nail a desperation enzugiri kick. PAC then slowly begins to climb up to the top rope but he is cut off by Kennedy. Kennedy then climbs up to the top rope and attempts to suplerplex PAC but Pac shoves him off the top rope onto the mat. PAC then begins to recollect himself as Kennedy slowly gets to his feet. From here PAC leaps off with a tornado DDT on Kennedy which spikes him into the mat. PAC then makes the cover. One....Two.....Three
Lacey: And the winner of the match PAC.
[The crowd in attendance roars at the announcement of the victor. Both men are still laid out on the mat when PAC shows a few signs of life. Using the ropes for support PAC slowly gets to his feet and has his arm raised in the air by the ref. PAC then leaves the ring with help from the officials as the ref checks on Kennedy.]
Todd: That was one hell of a comeback by PAC. He looked like he was all but done and come out of nowhere catching the win over Conrad.
Scott: However it looks like this match has taken it's toll on PAC definitely.
Devitt: Hopefully he can muster up the strenght in the final. But I can't help but feel this is one of them times where you have taken such a beating you may not be yourself for a few a little while.
~~~~~~~~~~~
Todd: Up next is the second semi final as Kenny Omega takes on Lance Archer.
Scott: There is a massive size difference between these two. However do not be fooled by Archer that man is deceptively quick.
Devitt: Archer is deceptively fast for his size however I will say Omega despite his small stature compared to Lance. Will go in there and try and bang with him.
Match Six: Lance Archer vs Kenny Omega
The bell rings and right from the start Omega takes the fight to Archer. Blasting him with forearms and punches. Omega then hits the ropes and cracks Archer with a running Enzugiri. Archer drops to a knee and from there is met with a superkick by Omega which stuns him allowing Kenny to follow up with a DDT. Kenny then tries for a quick cover but Lance kicks out at 1. As Kenny gets to his feet he then hits the ropes and tries to land a crossbody on Lance but Archer manages to catch him before dropping him with spinning side slam which he spins out into a facebuster. Archer then raises his arm in the air before taking his place in the corner. As Omega slowly gets to his feet he is met with a Big Boot to the face by Archer. Lance then makes the cover but Omega kicks out at 2.
Archer gets to his feet before setting Omega up for the Blackout. However Kenny manages to drop behind before meeting Archer with the Flash Man's Time Stopper. As Archer is wobbled Omega then hits the ropes before catching Lance with the Tony Jaa. Omega then raises his arm in the air to the roar of the crowd before proceeding to climb to the top rope. As Archer gets to his feet Omega leaps off but is met with a Boot to the face by Lance. Lance then lifts up the stunned Omega and plants him with the Final Days before making to the cover. One....Two......Three
Lacey: And the winner of the match 'The American Psycho' Lance Archer.
[As the crowd in attendance boos loudly. Archer slowly gets to his feet. Lance then raises his arm in the air before leaving the ring. As Archer makes his way to the back officials tend to Omega.]
Todd: Well that was an impressive victory for Lance Archer. Kenny fought strong but he slipped up and Archer beat him. Now our final has been set up as PAC vs Lance Archer.
Scott: Now that match will be very good. I can not wait. PAC has shown heart and an ubreakable will where as Archer has shown an incredibly tactical and brutal style. The final is very hard to call.
Devitt: What you also need to take into question is how is PAC? I mean he looked a bit beaten down following that match with Conrad so who knows what condition he will be in.
~~~~~~~~~~
[Backstage in the locker room area. Keith Walker can be seen standing by with manager Dave Prazak. The two men are watching the tournament unfold on a TV. Both men are dressed in suits and Walker has his title on his lap. It is unclear as to whether they are scouting for Walker's next opponent or potential members of the Regime but there is a lot of back and forth talk between both men.]
~~~~~~~~~~ {Commercial Break} ~~~~~~~~~~
Todd: Up next we have a five man battle royal featuring the 5 men who were eliminated in the first round.
Scott: This is going to be straight over the top rope rules. So it will be interesting to see if any alliances are formed throughout the match.
Devitt: Makes me kind of wonder if Hankinson and Reyes will be teaming up again like they attempted earlier.
Todd: Well we will find out right now.
Match Seven: Drew Hankinson vs Ricky Reyes vs Doug Basham vs Ricochet vs Synn Bowdee - 5 Man over the top rope Battle Royal
The bell rings to start the match and almost immeadiatly Ricky Reyes and Doug Basham attack Synn Bowdee. This leaves Hankinson to attack Ricochet. Drew quickly levels Ricochet with a clothesline before following up with a big boot. Drew then turns his attentions to Reyes and Basham and lays out both men with a double clothesline. Hankinson raises his arm in the air and the crowd give him a mixed reaction before he turns round and is kicked in the gut by Bowdee. Synn then hits the ropes and tries for a big boot but Hankinson ducks under and kicks him in the gut before planting him with the 12th Step. Drew then gets to his feet but as he tries to lift Bowdee up he is attacked from behind by Ricky Reyes. Reyes with the help of Basham sends Hankinson into the ropes. Reyes then attempts to clothesline him over but Drew ducks down and backdrops Ricky over the ropes and to the floor.
Ricky Reyes has been eliminated
Hankinson then turns round and is met with an Enzugiri kick to the back of the head by Basham. Drew drops down hard on the mat as the Bashman then begins taunting the crowd. Basham then sees Ricochet getting to his feet and attempts the Last Impression but Ricochet ducks under and then catches him with a spin kick which sends Basham over the ropes and onto the apron. Ricochet tries to knock Basham off the apron but Doug pokes him in the eye before pulling him over onto the apron. The two men begin trading punches when Basham clotheslines Ricochet back over the ropes into the ring but in doing so manages to bring himself into the ring as well. Basham gets to his feet and begins bragging about how smart he is when he turns into a Tallulah Belle by Bowdee. Bowdee then lifts up Basham and tosses him over the ropes and to the floor.
Doug Basham has been eliminated
Bowdee then stalks Hankinson as he slowly gets to his feet before nailing him with a Big boot. Bowdee then follows up with another boot before hitting the ropes. Bowdee then charges Hankinson but is caught with a sidewalk slam. Drew then lifts up Bowdee and follows up with a Bicycle Kick to the face of Bowdee. Drew then lifts up Synn again and sets him up for a suplex but Synn lands a few shots to the gut before landing a knee to the head of Drew. Synn then hits Drew with the Eat Defeat move which stuns Hankinson. Bowdee then turns his attentions to Ricochet and attempts the Tallulah Belle but Ricochet spins out and lands a flying knee to the head of Synn. As Synn is wobbled Ricochet then follows up with a Hurricanrana which sends Bowdee over the ropes and to the floor.
Synn Bowdee has been eliminated.
Ricochet and Hankinson are left. and Ricochet attempts to get a quick elimination by catching Drew with a spin kick. Ricochet then tries to clothesline Drew over the ropes but Hankinson catches him with a boot to the face. Drew then follows up with a headbutt before attempting the 12th step. Ricochet blocks it and manages to dropkick Hankinson before hitting the ropes this time however Hankinson catches him out of nowhere with the 12th step. Drew then drags Ricochet to his feet and tosses him over the ropes and to the floor.
Lacey: And the winner of the match Drew Hankinson.
[Drew raises his arm in the air to the boos from the crowd. Drew then makes his way to the ropes before leaving the ring. As Drew makes his way backstage. A dissapointed Ricochet slowly gets to his feet outside the ring.]
Todd: That was a very impressive performance by Drew Hankinson.
Scott: Yeah Drew looked good in that match. Certainly much better then he did in his match earlier.
Devitt: Yeah he certainly did stand out. A few others also did such as Bowdee and Ricochet. A quality match up right there.
~~~~~~~~~~
Todd: Fans it is now time for our main event of the evening. The final match in the King of Lion's Cup. As Pac takes on Lance Archer. The difference in size between the two men is huge. Pac stands at 5'8 and weighs in at 171 pounds where as 'The American Psycho' stands 7'0 and weighs in at 259 pounds. This is as close to a David/Goliath Story as I have ever heard.
Scott: Also take into fact that PAC took a bit of a kicking in his last match against Conrad Kennedy. So I don't believe he will be 100%.
Devitt: Now having known Pac. I know never to doubt him. The kid is going to do all he can overcome the odds. They may be heavily stacked against him but he still has a chance.
Main Event: Lance Archer vs Pac
The bell rings and the two men circle round each other. Archer and Pac lock up and Archer quickly takes control with a knee to the gut before clubbing him across the back several times. Archer then follows up with a few more shots before sending Pac into the turnbuckle. From here Archer then lands a nasty elbow to the face of Pac before using his foot to choke him. As Pac staggers forwards Archer then plants him with a snake eyes on the turnbuckle before nailing him with a Uranage slam. Lance then makes the cover only for Pac to shockingly kick out at 1. Archer then drags PAC to his feet and sends him into the ropes before catching him with a back drop. Archer then raises an arm in then air before lifting up PAC and setting him up for the Final Days only for PAC to land a kick to the head of Archer which allows him to spin out.
PAC then catches him with a superkick before hitting the ropes for a running dropkick. PAC lands the dropkick and then attempts to spring up the ropes but Archer kicks his leg and PAC hits the mat hard. Archer then grabs the stunned PAC and drops a leg drop on him before dragging him to his feet and planting him with a DDT. Lance then stands in the corner and waits for PAC to get to his feet before charging at him with a Big Boot. Pac hits the ropes and attempts a tornado ddt but Archer pushes him off. Lance then goozles Pac and plants him with the chokeslam. Lance then makes the cover but Pac shockingly kicks out at 2. As a frustrated and angry Archer gets to his feet he then lifts PAC up and throws him hard out of the ring.
Archer then follows Pac outside and throws him hard into the ring steps. Archer then follows up by throwing him into the barricade. Archer then tries to powerbomb PAC on the outside but Pac manages to drop behind and land on the ring apron. Pac lands a back kick to the face of Archer which staggers him before springing up the ropes and landing a springboard corkscrew moonsault to the floor on Archer. The crowd roars as both men are laid out. A replay airs on the big screen of the move and the crowd are begin chanting 'This is Awesome'. The first man to move is Lance Archer who slowly uses the barricade to get to his feet. Pac uses the ring apron and once up he nails Lance with a punch to the face. Archer fires back with a shot of his own and then rolls Pac back into the ring.
Archer then slowly climbs onto the apron but as he climbs into the ring. He is met with a DDT by PAC. PAC then follows up with the British Airways on Archer before hooking the leg for a cover. One....Two....Archer kicks out. A stunned Pac gets to his feet and lifts Archer up before hitting the ropes and attempting a running Hurricanrana only for Archer to counter mid move and drop him with a powerbomb. Lance then signals for the Moonsault before climbing the top rope. Archer leaps off for the moonsault as the crowd roars but PAC moves out of the way and Archer hits the canvas hard. PAc begins to get to his feet as a winded Archer takes a knee and cracks him with a Superkick. Pac then climbs up to the top rope before coming off with a 630 senton. Pac lands it before making the cover. One.....Two.....Three.
Lacey: And the winner of the match and the winner of the King of Lion's Cup PAC.
[As Pac is helped to his feet by the referee. The crowd in attendance explodes in cheers. Pac is joined in the ring by Ricochet and Kenny Omega both of whom shake his hand and raise his arms in the air.]
Todd: What at match that was. PAC truly overcome the odds right there. All I can say is congratulations to him.
Scott: Yeah without a doubt he really made the most of it. That kid took a beating all night and kept firing back.
Devitt: I told you earlier. It takes a lot to keep Pac down and he proved me right. He took everything what was thrown at him and managed to pull out the win.
Todd: Fans make sure you stay tuned because after the break we will be having the Coronation for PAC's King of Lions Cup victory.
~~~~~~~~~~ {Commercial Break} ~~~~~~~~~~
[As we come back from commercial. Standing in the ring is PAC, Kenny Omega, Ricochet, Edge, Lacey, Todd Grisham and Prince Devitt. Standing outside the ring are Drew Hankinson, Conrad Kennedy, Synn Bowdee, Doug Basham and Ricky Reyes. The crowd in attendance can be heard chanting for PAC as Prince Devitt is handed a microphone.]
{Devitt} 'PAC as your friend and also as a man who has been through this tournament myself. I want to say congratulations you deserved it. So without further ado allow us to crown you the Next King of Lion's Cup winner.'
[The crowd cheers again. Just then PAC is presented with the famed cup by Edge. Edge then shakes PAC's hand and raises his arm in the air to more cheers. Devitt then goes to hand Pac the microphone when he is hit with a big boot by Lance Archer. Archer then catches Omega and Ricochet with clotheslines before being met with a shots by Edge. Archer catches Edge with a knee to the gut when PAC runs at him Lance cheapshots PAC and then looks to bring the cup over onto the chest of PAC. But as he stands there he is met with a spear by Edge. Edge then begins to help Pac to his feet when Basham, Kennedy, Bowdee and Reyes climb onto the apron and into the ring. As the four men circle round Edge and Pac. The crowd begins to boo. Just then Omega, Ricochet and Devitt jump Basham, Bowdee and Reyes. Pac then hits Kennedy with a spin kick which sends him out the ring. At the same time Omega, Ricochet and Devitt throw Basham, Bowdee and Reyes out. All eyes then go on Hankinson who is still watching from the outside but instead he just walks up the ramp and heads backstage. With Devitt, Omega, Ricochet and Edge still standing by Pac raises the trophy high in the air and begins to celebrate his win finally. Just then Keith Walker and Dave Prazak can be seen watching from the ramp. The show then closes with Pac raising the trophy high in the air staring at Walker knowing that they will be facing off at All or Nothing.]

Akira Tozawa and Zach Sabre Jr beat Joel Redman and Scorpio Sky
Prince Devitt beat Shane Helms Critic's Review
Having Attended PWR's latest exploit. I was extremely impressed with the action they put on. The card was pretty solid from top to bottom and did a great job of focusing on new talents rising in PWR.
(The matches have all be rated out of 5. 1 = Poor - 5 = Great
In the first match on the card. Tony Nese took on Carlito. Nese has just been confirmed as signing a contract with PWR. Looked very impressive in this match. Carlito also looked good as the match went on. The contest lasted about 8 minutes and saw some great back and forth action. The finish of the match saw Nese hit Carlito with a Michinoku Driver for the win. 3/5
Match Two featured tag team action as new signings Shaun Ricker and Jamin Olivencia took on Aeroform. Out of the 4 men involved in the match it was Shaun Ricker who stood out. Ricker was accompanied by manager Percy Pringle. The match was pretty solid but did feature a few sloppy moments. After 12 minutes of action Ricker got the win over Kendrick after a Reverse STO. 2.5/5
Match Three saw King of Lion's Cup runner up Lance Archer battle Chavo Guerrero. This match was pretty much a squash as the sadistic Archer beat up Chavo. Towards the end of the match Chavo made a small comeback when he was met with a vicious big boot to the face by Lance. The finish of the match saw Lance hit the Final Days on Chavo. 2/5
The fourth match was triple threat action featuring John Hennigan, Brian Kendrick and AR Fox. This was an early match of the night candidate as the three men really went out to put on a show. The match lasted a good 18 minutes and saw some spectacular series of moves. The finish of the match saw Hennigan pin Fox following a shining Wizard. 4/5
The next match saw the latest King of Lion's Cup winner Pac take on MVP. The reaction for PAC was very impressive as the crowd was solidly behind him. MVP played an excellant heel throughout the match. The finishing series was very good as there was multiple false finishes. In the end PAC got the win following a Bridging Tiger Suplex. 4/5
In match six we saw Joey Ryan take on Low Ki. This was a decent match and featured some cool spots. Ryan seemed to shine in this match as a great singles heel. Showing potential for a run in the future. The finish of the match was a surprise as Ryan pinned Low Ki following a swinging neckbreaker. 3.5/5
In the co main event we got another tag team match as Akira Tozawa and Zach Sabre Jr teamed up to face Joel Redman and Scorpio Sky. This match was without a doubt the best match on the card as both teams went back and forth extremely well. The finish of the match was also memorable as it was Sabre who got the win after pinning Redman following a superkick. 4.5/5
The main event of the night saw Prince Devitt take on Shane Helms. The match was very good and some feel much better then their match at the last PPV. Helms played the heel very well through out the match. The finish saw Devitt pin helms following a Bloody Sunday. 4/5.

A few fans in attendance are holding signs such as 'End the Regime', 'We Want PAC' and 'Sign Tony Nese'. We then cut to the commentary table where Todd Grisham and Scott Steiner are seated as always.]
Todd: [/b]Welcome to Pro Wrestling R. Ladies and gentleman my name is Todd Grisham and I am joined as always by Scott Steiner.
Scott: It is a very exciting time to be a fan of PWR right now. With the King of Lion's Cup just having and the highly anticipated All or Nothing Battle Royal just around the corner. We are practically chock full of excitement.
Todd: Speaking of All or Nothing. Our first match tonight is an All or Nothing qualifying match. As Tyson Tarver takes on the undefeated Willie Mack. Now both of these men had rough nights at the last PPV. With Tarver suffering a loss to Jerry Lynn and Mack being assualted by Chris Mordetzky. So both men will be looking to redeem themselves.
Scott: Not only that but the winner of the match will earn a spot in the All or Nothing Battle Royal. So there is a high reward in this match as well as gaining redemption.
Match One: Tyson Tarver vs Willie Mack - All or Nothing qualifyer
The bell rings to kickstart the match and the two men circle each other. Tarver then shoves Mack hard before attempting a huge superman punch. Mack ducks under and then catches Tarver with a shot of his own. Mack then hits the ropes and catches Tarver with a dropkick before attempting to make a cover. Tarver grabs the ropes so Willie can not cover him so instead Mack hits a rope assisted Powerbomb. The crowd roars as Mack gets to his feet. Willie then hits the ropes and looks for a running senton but Tarver rolls out of the way in the nick of time. As Mack is stunned Tarver hits the ropes and catches him with a knee to the head. Tyson then follows up with a few shots to the body before forcing Mack to his knees. Tarver then hits the ropes and lands a running knee to the back of the head of Willie.
Tyson then climbs up to the top rope and motions for a fist drop. Tarver leaps off for the fist drop but Mack rolls out of the way. As Tarver gets to his feet holding his arm. Willie then hits the ropes and plants him with a Yakuza kick which stuns Tyson. Willie then follows up with a scoop slam before sending him into the turnbuckle. Mack then lands the MDX to the roar of the crowd before landing the Chocolate Thunder Bomb. Willie then makes the cover. One....Two....Three.
Lacey: And the winner of the match and advancing to the All or Nothing Battle Royal. Willie Mack.
[As Willie Mack gets to his feet. The crowd in attendance roars. Mack then raises his arm in the air to more cheers. Just then Chris Mordetzky can be seen watching Mack from the entrance Ramp. The American Adonis can be seen giving him some sarcastic claps as Mack stares at him. Chris then says 'See you at All or Nothing'. As Adonis walks backstage Mack leaves the ring and chases after him.]
---------- {Commercial Break} ----------
[The crowd in attendance boos loudly when Prince Nana's theme begins to play. As Nana walks out from the back dressed in a suit the crowd boo more and more. Nana then makes his way down to the ring before climbing through the ropes. Once in the ring Nana grabs a microphone.]
{Nana} 'Ladies and gentleman. Do not adjust your TV Channel and do not check your eyes. For I Prince Nana am truly gracing Pro Wrestling R with my presence. Now before any of you ask. I am not here in PWR to manage my Ring of Honor Charge Tommaso Ciampa. See although my client Ciampa has signed a part time contract with PWR. He is not my only client. See with my wealth and my worldwide connections. I am able to say I have managed the likes of Christopher Daniels, Rhino, Davey Taylor, Joey Ryan and Jimmy Rave.'
[The crowd boos as Nana smiles.]
{Nana} 'But my newest client is a man. With more potential and sheer force then anyone I have ever seen. I heard about him from a contact in Africa and I had to see it with my own eyes to believe it. Him destroying man after man. But not in the ring no. He destroyed people in the deepest and darkest parts of the jungle. There were no rules and no reprocussions only a matter of the last man standing. A true fight for survival. Which is why it brings me tremendous pleasure to announce that he accepted my offer. Next week you will all bare witness to the new breed of pro wrestler. He combines a hybrid of Sheer Agression, Raw Power and a surprising amount of speed. Next week all of you will see a man compete in this ring unlike anyone you have ever seen. Next week you see Uhaa Nation.'
[Nana then drops the microphone in the ring before slowly making his way to the ropes. The crowd in attendance boos as Nana then leaves the ring and slowly begins to walk backstage.]
----------
[Backstage in the hallway of the arena. Dave Prazak can be seen talking on his phone when he is approached by Tyson Tarver.]
{Tarver} 'Dave we need to Ta......'
[Prazak turns to Tarver before quickly ending his phonecall.]
{Dave} 'Do you mind. I am cleary busy right now. Too busy to deal with a loser. Tyson we had an agreement. No more screw ups. I expected you to beat Willie Mack and earn a spot in the All or Nothing Rumble. Instead you lost. I expected you to retire Jerry Lynn at the last PPV and instead you lost.'
[Tarver does not look happy as he then grabs Prazak by his jacket.]
{Tyson} 'NOW LISTEN TO ME. I am sick and tired of you getting in my face and telling me how I did not do this and did not do that. I have busted my ass night in and night out for the Regime and I do not need some stuck up wannabe big shot telling me how I failed.'
[Prazak looks to speak but Tarver cuts him off.]
{Tyson} 'I demand some respect from you Dave. I let you get away with talking down to me for too long. I want an apology and I want some respect.'
[Tyson then pushes Dave against the wall. As Dave leans against the wall a sly smile can be seen on his face. Just then Tarver is attacked from behind by Harry Smith. Harry is soon joined by Bobby Fish and Adam Pearce as the three men beat down Tarver. Harry then traps Tyson in a cross face on the floor and at the same time Fish locks in an Ankle Lock. As Tarver screams in pain Pearce begins to stomp at his back. Prazak then orders the men to stand him up. As Tarver is dragged to his feet Prazak slaps him across the face.]
{Prazak} 'You was always ungrateful Tyson. You know that right?'
[Prazak then punches Tyson in the gut before allowing Smith and Fish to throw him back first against the wall. As Tarver is prone against the wall. Pearce then hits him with a running knee to the head. Prazak then stands over Tyson before slapping him again.]
{Dave} 'Tyson. It is my great pleasure to tell you that you are Fired!'
[The live crowd can be heard booing. As Prazak then walks off down the hall followed by Bobby, Adam and Harry. Official then begin to tend to the now fired Tyson Tarver.]
---------- {Commercial Break} -----------
Todd: The Regime is truly out of control. They are now turning on their own. Tyson Tarver was a loyal soldier and they brutalized him before Prazak fired him. And now they have Harry Smith as a member as well.
Scott: They are growing more dangerous day by day Todd. Without a doubt.
Todd: Well anyway up next we have a very interesting match. Featuring not just one but two tag teams debut. As Aeroform take on the Japanese duo of Violence Inc. Now these two teams have battled each other countless times over the world and it appears their feud is coming to Pro Wrestling R.
Scott: The other day I personally Youtubed some of their matches. These two teams do not like each other what so ever and their bad blood certainly translates into their matches. So I am really looking forward to this.
Match Two: Aeroform vs Genki Horiguchi and Ryo Saito
The bell rings to start the match and it is Louis Lyndon and Ryo Saito who start off for their teams. After circling each other Saito tries to rush in but Lyndon quickly throws his leg up in a Crane stance. Saito backs up as Lyndon stands there in the Crane position. Ryo then attempts a clothesline but Louis ducks under and catches him with a Open Palm Strike to the chest. Lyndon then follows up with a spinning back kick to the stomach of Saito. Lyndon then follows up with a leg sweep which takes Saito off of his feet. The crowd in attendance give 'The Kung Fu Master' a decent response as he gets to his feet. Saito then tags out to Genki Horiguchi. As the Demonic Horiguchi gets in the ring he circles round Lyndon before charging at him. Lyndon lands a kick to the gut of Genki before hitting the ropes.
As Louis springs off the ropes he attempts a spin kick but Genki ducks under and catches him with a T-Bone Suplex. Horiguchi then hits the ropes and lands a running Forearm on Lyndon before raising his arm in the air to boos from the crowd. Louis then tags out to Flip Kendrick. Instead of climbing through the ropes Kendrick somersaults into the ring before running at Horiguchi and catching him with a monkey flip. Flip then follows up with a dropsault as the crowd cheers. Flip then runs to the ropes before springing back off the second with a back elbow to a huge pop from the crowd. Genki then tags out to Saito. Saito charges into the ring and lands a forceful knee to the gut of Flip before following up with a belly to belly suplex.
Saito then lands a running elbow drop on Kendrick before tagging out to Horiguchi. Genki and Ryo then lift up Kendrick and hit him with a Atomic Drop/Big Boot combination for a quick near fall. Horiguchi then drags Kendrick to his feet and tries for a piledriver but Flip manages in a desperation move to spin out of it and land a enzugiri. Kendrick then makes a desperation tag to Lyndon who gets in the ring with a full head of steam quickly taking out Genki with a dropkick. Ryo Saito then runs in the ring and tries to blindside Lyndon only for Louis to duck under and catch him with the Crane Kick which sends Saito over the ropes and to the floor. Lyndon then tries to clothesline Genki but Horiguchi ducks under and tries for a backslide. Lyndon blocks it and the two men are back to back with thier arms locked. Genki gets pushed towards the referee who turns away for a second to avoid getting hit but this allows Horiguchi to land a back lowblow to Lyndon before following up with a Backslide. The ref turns round and makes the count. One....Two.....Three.
Lacey: And the winners of the match Henki Horiguchi and Ryo Saito.
[The crowd in attendance boos loudly as Horiguchi gets to his feet and raises his arm in the air. Genki is joined by Saito and the two men celebrate their win before leaving the ring. As they make their way backstage. Flip Kendrick can be seen arguing with the ref about the Low Blow.]
Todd: Genki Horiguchi and Ryo Saito pull out the win. In rather questionable circumstances I have to say.
Scott: He took perfect advantage of a situation. Lyndon was a bit stronger and was pushing him towards the ref only for Genki to be smart enough to kick him low before getting the cover. Todd: But take nothing away from Aeroform despite the loss. They came here to win and they nearly did. Both teams looked impressive. It was just a shame it ended like that
----------
[We then cut to backstage. In the office of Brett Dibiase. Dibiase can be seen sitting behind a desk on his mobile phone. In the background is a poster for the all or nothing PPV. Brett then looks at the camera before hanging up his call.]
{Dibiase} 'My name is Brett Dibiase. And I am the co founder of the Prazak/Dibiase Regime. Now whilst my associate Dave Prazak is busy dealing with various talent relation issues. I am taking some time right now to tell you about something big happening next week. See with the All or Nothing Battle Royal coming up. I feel we could do with a little high risk/Hig reward match next week. So I have decided that 10 of PWR's top superstars who are set to compete in the All or Nothing Gauntlet will take part in an over the top rope battle royal next week. Now here is where the High Rick part factors in. See I have decided that the first man eliminated from this match will be the man who has to enter first at All or Nothing.'
[Dibiase smirks.]
{Dibiase} 'Now as for the reward. The winner of the match will infact go on to be number 30 in the All or Nothing Gauntlet. So as you can see this is going to be very, Very risky for the participants involved. Because no one wants to be number 1 in this match. So now allow me to announce the participants for the match. It will be 'The New Horror' Sami Callihan vs AeroStar vs Akira Tozawa vs Zach Sabre vs Joey Ryan vs Scorpio Sky vs YAMATO vs Prince Devitt vs Shane Helms vs John Hennigan.'
[The live crowd can be heard cheering at that announcement.]
{Dibiase} 'Also next week I can confirm there will be 2 more All or Nothing Qualifying matches. As 'The American Adonis' Chris Mordetzky will take on Carlito and Low Ki will take on The Sheik and Shawn Davari in a triple threat match.'
[The crowd in attendance boo the last match announcement. On realising the deck is stacked against Low Ki. Dibiase then goes back to his desk as we cut back to the ring.]

Todd: There was some huge announcements for last week there. The main event in particular is one to watch.
Scott: What about the All or Nothing matches confirmed for next week. I have to say the deck is stacked against Low Ki in his match. Not only are Sheik and Davari a team but are also both loyal Regime Members.
Todd: Speaking of having the deck stacked against them. In our next match Jack Evans is going to take on Jon Davis. Davis has been on a tear since debuting and no one has lasted a match with him. Basically when Jon is in the ring you do not get any flashy pin falls or moves instead you just get a beating.
Match Three: Jon Davis vs Jack Evans
The bell rings to start the match and Evans tries to take the fight to Davis. Quickly hitting him with several forearm blows. Jack then hits the ropes but on the rebound he is met with a nasty big boot to the face. Jon then drags Jack to his feet before hitting the ropes himself before nailing Evans with a forceful lariat which spins Evans in the air. Davis then drags Jack to his feet and throws him across the ring with an T-Bone Suplex. Evans rolls under the ropes and to the floor as Davis follows him outside. The crowd start cheering for Evans as Davis lifts him to his feet. Jon then knees Jack in the gut before lifting him up for a Powerbomb. Davis then sickeningly powerbombs Evans onto the Barricade. As Jack's body contorts over the rail the crowd look horrifed and begin to boo Davis.
Jon then follows up by lifting Jack to his feet and throws him hard into the ring apron before following up by sending him into the steps. Davis then belly to belly suplexes Jack on the floor before dragging him to his feet yet again. Jon then rolls him into the ring. Davis then begins to climb into the ring as the referee checks on Jack. As Davis gets into the ring the referee rings the bell declaring that Jack is unable to compete.
Lacey: The referee has declared that Jack Evans is not fit to continue the match. So the winner and going on to the All or Nothing Gauntlet Match. 'The Dark City Devastator' Jon Davis.
[As Davis stands over Evans in the ring. The crowd boos loudly. Jon then leaves the ring not allowing the ref to raise his arm in the air. As Davis dissapears backstage officials begin to tend on Jack Evans. Medics then come down to the ring with a stretcher as we cut to a commercial.]
---------- {Commercial Break} ----------
[Backstage in the PWR Locker Room area. Colt Cabana can be seen standing by. Colt is not his usual happy go lucky self instead he has this intense vibe about him.]
{Colt} 'Now normally. I would be here making jokes or pulling out a series of witty one liners. But the time for jokes is not now. See I have been with PWR for a long while. I have fond memories of this promotion from it's start in small arenas and having only 100 to 200 people in attendance. Like many I was excited for us to pick up momentum and then with that momentum we was able to mix some of the best talents from around the world who many fans had not heard of such as Akira Tozawa, Prince Devitt and Zach Sabre Jr and have them face off with such alumni as Chris Jericho, Giant Bernard, Sean Waltman and Finlay to name a few. However things then began to slowly change after our Sky One Debut. The change was subtle but in the arena it was noticeable that a clique was slowly forming amogst some of the talent. You would see Dave Prazak and Brett Dibiase engaging in meetings a lot. Now I and many assumed they was up to something but none of us expected the Takeover!'
[Colt pauses for a brief second before continuing.]
{Colt} 'When the Regime formed no one knew what to do. We knew we would have to fight to survive but we did not know how. The resistance formed but unlike the Dictatorship that is the Regime we was without a leader and that has left us at a disadvantage. But now I have realised there is a way to take a small chink out of the Regime's armour. See as much as Walker can claim to be an undefeated and undisputed Champion. There is another Title in the Regime in which the Champs have looked just as undefeatable for an even longer duration. They are of course the PWR Tag Team Champions. Joey Ryan and Scorpio Sky. Now I realise that I come up short against them at the past Pay per view with my tag team partner Homicide. But I will not be giving up in my quest to take them titles. See I am no stranger to being apart of great tag teams. I was a former second city saint teamed with a man who is 'The Best in the World', I was apart of Team Shag with Darren Burridge and we ran riot over England. Now I am looking to duplicate that success by taking the PWR Tag Team Titles from the team who proclaim they are the best tag team in the world today.'
[Colt then leaves the locker room as the crowd in attendance can be heard buzzing about Colt challenging for the tag titles again.]
----------
Todd: It is now time for our main event of the evening. As Matt Cross takes on PAC. This is Pac's first match since winning the King of Lion's cup so it will be a big test for him.
Scott: Not to mention that it is also a test to see if he is ready for his title match against Keith Walker at All or Nothing. This is going to be an just as important as his matches in the KOL Cup.
Main Event: PAC vs Matt Cross
The bell rings to kick this match off. Both PAC and Cross circle round each other before tying up. Cross takes control early on by snapmaring PAC before following up with a kick to the back. Matt then hits the ropes and lands a dropkick to the face of PAC. Cross then gets to his feet and raises his arm high in the air to boos from the crowd. Matt then hits the ropes and attempts a running dropkick but PAC sidesteps him and catches him with a Reverse Hurricanrana. PAC then hits the ropes before landing a running Senton Splash. PAC then follows up with a standing moonsault for a quick nearfall. As PAC gets to his feet he grabs Cross and sets him up for a Tiger Suplex. Only for Matt to land a back headbutt. Cross then follows up with a knee to the gut before following up with a spinkick to the face.
Matt then plants PAC with a suplex before clamping on a single leg boston crab. As PAC screams out in pain Cross does all he can to amp up the pressure. PAC begins a slow crawl to the ropes but before he can make any headway. Cross manages to transition into an STF. Cross really plies on the pressure as PAC tries to crawl to the rope. PAC barely grabs the bottom rope but Matt does not let go. The ref begins a count of 5 to force a break and it is only at 4 that Matt releases his grip. Cross gets to his feet with a smug look on his face which draws more ire from the crowd. Matt then begins to stalk PAC as he slowly gets to his feet before kicking him in the gut. Cross then sets up for a powerbomb but as he lifts PAC up. The man That Gravity forgot manages to drop behind and perform a sunset flip. The ref drops down for the count but Cross kicks out at 2. A pissed off Cross gets to his feet and kicks PAC in the gut again before hitting the ropes.
As Cross springs off the ropes he attempts a forearm blow but PAC manages to duck under and land a Crucifix Driver. The crowd roars as the plucky brit then slowly makes his way to his feet. PAC then for Matt to get to his feet before catching him with a nasty Tornado DDT which spikes Cross on his head. PAC lifts Matt up before hitting the ropes. PAC catches matt with a running cutter which causes Matt to plant face first off the mat. PAC then follows up with the British Airways to the roar of the crowd. PAC hooks the leg for a cover. One...Two...Three.
Lacey: And the winner of the match PAC.
[As Pac gets to his feet. The crowd in attendance cheers loudly. PAC then raises his arm in the air to more cheers before slowly making his way out of the ring. As PAC makes his way backstage. We cut to the locker room area where Keith Walker has been sitting in front of a monitor watching PAC's match.]
Todd: A big win for PAC right there. He took it to a very game Matt Cross and scored the win.
Scott: It could be a sign of things to come. I mean as we just saw the Champ was doing his bit of studying there. Trying to see if there are any weaknesses of PAC's to try and take advantage of. But at the same time he has got to realise on of PAC's main strengths is that this kid will not stop. He keeps on coming. I don't think Keith has been pushed as much as PAC has the potential to push him.
Todd: Well we will get a definitive answer at All or Nothing Scott. Fans that is all we have time for tonight. See you again next week.

In an All or Nothing Qualifying match. Carlito is going to take on 'The American Adonis' Chris Mordetzky. Both men have had a long tenure under the PWR Banner and are looking to reach that next level by making their way into the All or Nothing match. Mordetzky claims to have an unbreakable submission hold in the Adonis Lock and is looking to latch it on Carlito this upcoming week. one of the main questions is however is Chris Mordetzky focused on this match. Chris has as of late been more occupied with Willie Mack as of late so many are wondering is he entirely focused on Carlito.

[A cold an eerie silence blankets the car park. As cars come in and out with various PWR superstars pulling up in their cars before walking inside the building. Everyone from Akira Tozawa to Chavo Guerrero can be seen arriving. Just then a Dark Blue Ford Focus pulls into the car park and begins circling round looking for a space. After parking the door opens and a rather large man can be seen getting out of the car. His face is concealed as he is wearing a Dark Hooded Jacket with the hood covering his face. He goes round to the boot of his car and grabs his bag before locking up and making his way through a small door into the arena. As he walks in a few of the backstage guys give him a once over but the atmosphere in the building is pretty terrible.]
(Here I am finally. Pro Wrestling R. Have to say though this place does not seem as friendly as my friends Petey{Williams} and Sonjay{Dutt} said. May just be a bad day. Let's just find the locker room and hope for the best. Maybe one of those guys will know where the locker room is.)
[The man walks over to one of the guys standing by who is a production worker.]
'Hey mate. I'm new hear do you know where the locker room i.....'
[The guy just walks away followed by the other men standing around.]
(What the hell was that about. Must be a really bad day. Just my luck this bad day is my first day. Maybe if I find Animal he can help me.)
[The man carries on walking down the hall. On one of the walls nearby is some graffiti which states 'The Regime will reign supreme.']
(Kids these days. They have no respect. Grafitti on the wall of the arena. I have to say however. The saying is quite catchy. And many kids from my home town would have spelt it very wrong as well.)
[The man then carries on until he finally sees a door to his left. He walks through the door and finds the locker room. But instead of being full of wrestlers it is pretty trashed and empty. Basically a wasteland.]
'What the hell Happend here? looks like a bomb hit it.'
[Just then he hears a noise from behind him and Thwack!!! He is hit over the head with something from behind. As he drops to his knees the man who hit him stands infront of him. The man standing infront of him is easily recognisable as Colt Cabana. Cabana is weilding a mop and begins to raise it over his head for another swing.]
{Colt} 'Are you Restistance or Regime? Whose side are you on?'
(What the hell is he talking about?)
[Colt then raises the mop up again for another swing but this allows the man to tackle Colt against the wall. Colt tries to his him with the mop but the man is too strong and manages to press the mop against Cabana's chest so Colt is trapped against the wall.]
'Why did you attack me?'
{Colt} 'You know why. Your a member of the Regime aren't you?'
(What is he on about? Regime?)
'What the hell are you on about?'
{Colt} 'Don't lie to me. Your a Regime Member.'
'Look I have no clue what you are on about. Animal never said anything to me about a Regime.'
[Colt's expression changes pretty quickly at the mention of Animal.]
{Colt} 'Hang on a minute so your a member of the Resistance?'
(This guy is getting on my nerves now. Regime? Resistance? what is he on about. Animal has got a lot of explaining to do.)
'I am not a member of anything. Today is my first day. I have just got back from a long tour of Japan. I am tired as anything and I want to see Animal. So tell me where he is now.'
{Colt} 'Animal is gone.'
'What do you mean he is gone? Gone home?'
{Colt} 'No he has dissapeared since the takeover happend.'
'What takeover?'
{Colt} 'You know the takeover. When the Regime led by Dave Prazak and Brett Dibiase took over PWR. Since that time PWR has gone from a wrestler's paradise to one of the most dangerous enviroments around. No offense mate but you have really picked the wrong time to debut. This is a warzone.'
[The man releases Colt from the wall and takes a step back.]
'Well I have no interest in playing war or picking sides. I am just here to compete and win titles.'
{Colt} 'Well my friend. That is not going to be easy. I mean I wouldn't recomend flying solo if I was you.'
(The guy who smacked me over the head with a mop just called me a friend. It's been a long time since anyone said that to me.)
'Well your not me. So I really don't appreciate the advice Friend. Look where can I find Dave Prazak and Brett Dibiase?'
[Colt looks a bit shocked.]
{Colt} 'Why would you go looking for them?'
(God he asks a lot of questions. Luckily for him. I don't want to get into a scrap on my first day. Besides he seems like a decent enough guy.)
'I want to set the record straight. To lay down the law. That I am not a member of the resistance nor am I a member of the Regime. I mean if you guys all want to beat each other up that is fine. Just leave me out of it.'
{Colt} 'Well I don't make a habit of associating with Prazak or Brett. But they usually hang round their office. Which is normally guarded.'
(Guarded! what the hell is this a wrestling promotion or Fort Knox.)
'Guarded by who?'
{Colt} 'Well they both have their own guys really. Brett is pretty much always followed by Patrick Brink but has lately had the likes of The Sheik, Shawn Davari and Adam Pearce around as well. Prazak on the other hand normally walks around with the PWR Wrestle Kingdom Champion Keith Walker. But usually has guys like Harry Smith, Alex Koslov, Jimmy Rave and Bobby Fish lurking around somewhere.'
(Sounds like they have an army. That the Champ is associated with them as well is more interesting to me. In fact..... Hang on a second.)
'Did you just say Bobby Fish?'
[Colt looks a bit confused]
{Colt} 'Yeah Bobby Fish is one of Prazak's self proclaimed Eliminators. Do you know him or something?'
'Kind of.'
(Fish took a chance of a lifetime away from me. I am sure we will be meeting up soon.)
'Well look Colt. Thanks for the help I guess. But do me a favour. Next time you see me. Do not try and cave my head in with a mop!'
[Colt looks a tad nervous.]
{Colt} 'But how will I know who you are. I don't know your name infact I have not even seen your face.'
[As Colt stands there the man raises his arms up before pulling his hood down revealing his face.]
'My Name is Paul Burchill and I have come to Pro Wrestling R.'

Talent confirmed for Tryout this week
Under going a tryout this week with PWR is Caylen Cage. This former WWE Alumni is set to go on the road with PWR to not only compete at their house shows but also a possible dark match at the upcoming show. Cage has been on the radar for a little while by PWR and it is said management feels he has a lot of talent. How his tryout will go no one can tell yet. But the man who refers to himself as 'Double C' is very, very confident he will impress.

[As the latest edition of Pro Wrestling R comes to you live. We get a highlight package from the last show airing on the big screen. Things highligted are Mack/Davis qualifying for All or Nothing, Aeroform vs VI, PAC vs Cross and Prince Nana's Promo. We then go to the crowd where various signs are being held high such as 'Where is Alex Shelley?' and 'I came to see Uhaa Nation'.]
Todd: Welcome to Pro Wrestling R. As always I am Todd Grisham and sitting next to me is my broadcast partner Scott Steiner.
Scott: And what a show we have for you tonight. A star studded 10 man battle Royal, The debut of one of the top prospects from around the world and not one but Two All or Nothing qualifying Matches.
Todd: That is right Scott. Tonight is definitely a great show. You know a show is going to be stacked when in the first match we have the man who main evented the last PPV in Low Ki.
Scott: And like that match with Keith Walker. He has the odds firmly stacked against him as he takes on The Sheik and Shawn Davari in a triple threat match. Now Sheik and Davari have been known to team up regularly and are also Regime Members so it will be interesting to see if Low Ki can pull this out.
Todd: Well Scott as you like to pick a wrestler to win the match a lot of the time. Who do you feel will win this one?
Scott: Now this may surprise people. But as much as I like Low Ki. My money is on The Sheik. He is one of the most dangerous competitors in PWR. I mean a lot of people still talk about the wars he had with Sami Callihan. In fact I spoke to a member of the Regime the other day and he said even now there is still bad blood between Sami and Sheik. In fact he also said many are surpised that they have not tried to kill each other yet as both men are out of their mind.
Match One: Low Ki vs Shawn Davari vs The Sheik
The bell rings to start the match and unsurprisingly both Davari and Sheik attack Low Ki. Both men begin wearing down the 'World Warrior' with punches and kicks before hitting him with a double suplex. Sheik then drops a knee across the chest of Ki before Davari follows up with an elbow drop. Sheik then drags Low Ki to his feet and sends him shoulder first into the ring post before catching him on the rebound with a Back Suplex. Davari then climbs up the ropes and comes off with a fist drop on Low Ki. As Davari gets to his feet he and Sheik smile before shaking hands when Sheik kicks him in the gut! Sheik then nails Davari with a forearm blow before sending him into the ropes. As Davari springs off the ropes Sheik drops down for a backdrop but is met with a kick to the face by Shawn.
Shawn then plants Sheik with a Neckbreaker before lifting him up and attempting a Hammerlock DDT. Sheik manages to spin out of it and land a throat thrust to Shawn which causes Shawn to gasp for breath. In this brief moment Sheik lands a vicious Spike DDT. Then for some strange reason Sheik begins to grab at the boot of Davari. It soons becomes clear as to why as he was doing that when he pulls a Spike out of the boot of Davari. The ref can do nothing but look on as Sheik waits for someone to get to their feet. Low Ki slowly gets to his feet and Sheik charges him with the spike but Ki moves out of the way and he drives the spike into the turnbuckle. Sheik then turns round into a roundhouse Kick by Low Ki which appears to KO him as he falls through the ropes and to the floor.
In this distraction Shawn Davari gets to his feet and quickly chopblocks Ki taking his leg out from under him. Davari then walks over to the corner and tries to grab the spike himself but it is stuck in the corner. Davari finally manages to pull it out and leaves the ring before helping a dazed Sheik to his feet. As Davari and Sheik get in the ring. Sheik raises Ki to his feet and holds him in place. Davari then charges at him with the spike but Ki ducks under and Davari catches Sheik in the face with the spike. As Sheik writhes around in Pain Low Ki kicks Davari hard in the gut before following up with a shot to the knee which drops him to his knees. Ki then follows up with a brutal Kick to the head before making the cover. One...Two.....Three.
Lacey: And the winner of the match and moving on to the All or Nothing Match Low Ki.
[The crowd cheers loudly as a victorious Low Ki gets his arm raised in the air. Ki then leaves the ring and slowly makes his way backstage as the ref checks on the Sheik.]
Todd: A big win there for Low Ki. Hopefully he is finally back on the right track. I mean I know we did not mention this but When you come off a loss the way he did at the last PPV some times it has a bad effect on you. But Low Ki seemed to do fine.
Scott: Yeah Low Ki looked very good. Sheik and Davari were very game here and tried to do some serious damage to Ki with the spike. I mean I hope Sheik is alright as he took that Spike to the face.
Todd: Well hopefully we can give you a update later on about the Sheik.
~~~~~~~~~~
[Backstage in the Hallway of the Arena. PWR Superstar Mark Copani can be seen standing by. The crowd in attendance can be heard booing Copani remembering him from his WWE days. Mark is dressed in a Black Suit and Orange Shirt.]
{Mark} 'Before I get started. I want all of you to know that since my signing with PWR. When I have competed in the ring on these Live events. I have been constantly booed by you people. This will stop now. You people have no reason other then a petty jealously to boo me. I mean I do not blame any one of you for being jealous of me. I have things that most of you can only dream of. Good looks, A high intelligence and also an incredible athletic Prowess. But instead of treating me like the role model that all of you people should be aspiring to be. You all decide to boo me and constantly bring up my past.'
[Copani smirks before readjusting his jacket.]
{Mark} 'Now for those of you who feel it is relevant to bring up my past. Let me clue you in right now. I am not a terrorist. I am a pro Wrestler and I am also a class above all of you.'
[The crowd boos loudly.]
{Mark} 'Speaking of being a class above. That brings me towards my debut. I will not be taking on some inferior opponent or some talentless Local. Instead I will be making my debut in the grandest way possible. As I Mark Copani will be taking part in the All or Nothing Gauntlet Match. So in my debut match I will surely be making a huge impression as I defeat the 29 other wrestlers in the match and become the number one contender for the Wrestle Kingdom Championship. Pro Wrestling R get ready as Your next Champion has come.'
[Copani smiles before slowly making his way down the hall. Copani then can be seen entering the office of Brett Dibiase as we cut to a commercial.]
~~~~~~~~~~~ {Commercial Break} ~~~~~~~~~~~
[Backstage in the locker room area. We see various members of the roster such as Chavo Guerrero, Jerry Lynn, Johnny Gargano, Willie Mack and John Walters. Just then The Violence Inc duo of Genki Horiguchi and Ryo Saito walk in the locker room. As the Japanese duo then survey the locker room on the other side of the room we see The Aeroform duo of Louis Lyndon and Flip Kendrick stand up from their chairs. Ryo smirks arrogantly as the two teams stare down for a minute before all hell breaks loose between both teams. As the two teams begin to brawl the wrestlers around the locker room watch on. Aeroform begin getting the better of VI until Horiguchi spits a mist in the eyes of Lyndon. Ryo then low blows Kendrick and the VI duo then look for a conchairto on Kendrick but at the last second he ducks and the chairs collide. Kendrick then dropkicks the chair into the face of Saito before he and Genki begin brawling. It is at this time that Security gets involved and with the help of the wrestlers this melee is broken up.]
~~~~~~~~~~~
Todd: What a heated brawl that was between Aeroform and V.I. We said last week there is bad blood between these two duos and they have not dissapointed yet.
Scott: Yeah with these two teams this isn't one of those bull crap fake hates. They legitimately hate each other and it seems they can not shake the other one off.
Todd: Speaking on legitimate. There is one thing what is certainly legitimate about the other man we saw before we cut to the commercial in Mark Copani. And that is he is extremely arrogant. Now I have only met him a few times but I have to say to all the fans at home. That is no act. Copani is exceedingly full of himself and thinks he is the be all end all. He has a chance to prove it at All or Nothing.
Scott: Well speaking of Arrogant. That is a word also brought up in response to the American Adonis Chris Mordetzky. Chris claims to have the unbreakable hold in wrestling and also claims to have been carved out of stone. Up next he takes on Carlito in a match which will determine a spot in the All or Nothing Gauntlet.
Match Two: Chris Mordetzky vs Carlito
The bell rings and the two men lock up. Chris quickly shoves Carlito off before catching him with a clothesline which spins Carlito in the air. Chris then drops an elbow on Carlito before flexing his arms to boos from the crowd. Chris then attempts a millitary press slam but Carlito manages to drop behind and land a neckbreaker on Mordetzky. Carlito then follows up with a springboard moonsault on Chris before hooking the leg for a quick near fall. Carlito then hits the ropes as Chris slowly gets to his feet and attempts a crossbody only for Chris to catch him and land a nasty backbreaker. Chris then backs up into the corner and waits for Carlito to get to his feet. As Carlito staggers to his feet Chris nails him with a brutal running Polish Hammer to the chest.
Chris then drags Carlito to his feet and begins to set up for the Adonis Lock but Carlito lands a back headbutt which staggers him. Carlito then manages to go behind Chris and tries a Backstabber but Chris grabs the ropes which leads to Carlito to snap back onto the apron. Chris then lifts the stunned Carlito to his feet and locks on the Adonis Lock. As The crowd cheers for Carlito to escape Chris begins to swing him round until Carlito goes limp. The ref then calls for the bell as Chris releases the hold.
Lacey: And the winner of the match and advancing to the All or Nothing match Chris Mordetzky.
[As Chris stands tall over the downed Carlito. The crowd in attendance boos loudly. Chris then places his foot on Carlito's chest before raising his arm in the air. Chris then slowly walks to the ropes before leaving the ring. As Chris walks backstage the crowd boos loudly. Backstage on a monitor Willie Mack can be seen watching.]
Todd: Well Chris Mordetzky has now advanced to the All or Nothing Match. I am sure Willie Mack is happy about it.
Scott: Yeah these two do not like each other and I am sure will be targeting each other in the Gauntlet.
~ Come to Life Alter Bridge ~
[As Alter Bridge's 'Come to Life' Begins to play. The crowd in attendance cheers loudly. Just then 'The man that Gravity Forgot' PAC slowly walks out from the back. PAC is wearing a pair of Blue Jeans and a Black Affliction T-Shirt. As PAC makes his way down to the ring he high fives various fans before climbing through the ropes and making his way into the ring. Once in the ring PAC is handed a microphone by Lacey.]
{PAC} 'It has been nearly 3 weeks since I won the King of Lion's Cup. Which is by far one of the most toughest nights in Pro Wrestling. As eight or in my case nine of the most talented and hungriest wrestlers from around the world compete in a one night tournament.'
[The crowd gives a small cheer.]
{PAC} 'I had to take on Doug Basham, Conrad Kennedy and Lance Archer in that respective order. So it was safe to say that the odds were not on my side. However I managed to overcome the odds and become the King of Lion's Cup winner.'
[The crowd cheer louder here.]
{PAC} 'Which of course brings me to my prize for winning. A Title match against Keith Walker at All or Nothing. Now Keith Walker has looked unstoppable since coming to PWR. His shoulders have never been pinned to the mat. In fact not many people have given him much of a fight. However Keith as you may have seen from my King of Lion's Cup victory and my win over Matt Cross last week. It takes a lot to put me down. As I will keep coming and I will keep bringing the fight to you until I become the Wrestle Kingdom Champion.'
[Pac smiles as the crowd erupts in cheers.]
~ Always Something by Cage the Elephant ~
[As Cage the Elephant's 'Always Something' Begins to play the crowd in attendance starts to boo. Just then Brett Dibiase's chief of security Patrick Brink walks out from the back closely followed by 'The Russian Hooligan' Alex Koslov and Jimmy Rave. As they slowly make their way down to the ring Brink grabs himself a microphone. Once in the ring Brink squares up to PAC.]
{Brink} 'Now for those of you who do not know who I am. My name is Patrick Brink and I am The head of Security for the Brett Dibase/Dave Prazak Regime.'
[The crowd boos loudly.]
{Brink} 'Now as the head of Security. One of my main job roles entitles getting rid of potential threats to the Regime. Unfortunately PAC you have been labelled a threat.'
[PAC gets ready to fight then and there as Rave and Koslov go either side of him.]
{Brink} 'But PAC don't worry. We will not be eliminating you tonight. In fact we are going to give you fair warning just this once. So you get the chance to put your tail between your legs and run away. If you are foolish enough to stay. Then next week it will be myself and my two associates here vs you and a partner of your choosing. Hopefully PAC your smart enough to realise that you do not stand a chance. But if not we will see you next week.'
[Brink then drops the microphone in the ring before he, Koslov and Rave slowly exit the ring and make their way backstage to boos. PAC does not look to happy in the ring and he slowly leaves as well as we cut to a commercial break.]
~~~~~~~~~~ {Commercial Break} ~~~~~~~~~~
'Harry Smith makes his in ring debut next week!'
~~~~~~~~~~
Todd: Next week's show certainly looks interesting. We have the debut of Harry Smith and a possible handicap main event as well.
Scott: But speaking of interesting Todd . Is our next match as we see the debut of a man constantly refered to as the next big thing in Pro Wrestling. As Uhaa Nation makes his in ring debut.
Todd: Nation has in particular been promoted as such by his manager Prince Nana who is at this time going to join us at the commentary Table.
Prince Nana: Yes I have joined you for commentary and you are more then welcome for that fact. Just like you are welcome to witness the debut of the most dominating and impressive wrestler of all time. In Uhaa Nation.
Scott: What gives you all this confidence in Uhaa?
Nana: I have seen this man dispatch 10 men at a time. I have seen him perform feets of strength and agility never seen before. These are not hollow promises either. You are about to witness a competitor unlike anything you have seen in your life.
Match Three: Uhaa Nation vs Local
The bell rings and Nation and the Local circle round each other before tying up. Nation manages to go behind his opponent and with ease lifts the Local in the air and plants him on his stomach. Uhaa then gets to his feet and as his opponent gets up he snapmares him. Nation then hits the ropes and surprisingly leapfrogs his opponent in a bit of graces for the big man. Before hitting the opposite side and coming back with a running dropkick to his opponent. The crowd in attendance give a slight applause mainly due to the fact that this big man is moving like a cat. Uhaa then drags his opponent to his feet and kicks him in the gut before setting him up for a powerbomb.
Nation then drops him with a powerbomb before lifting him up again and planting him with another powerbomb. Uhaa then lifts him up again and this time plants him on the ropes which sets up for a slingshot sitout powerbomb. Uhaa then lifts his opponent up for a scoopslam but instead drops him into a reverse DDT position before spinnng through with a Rolling Cutter. Nation again recieves a decent respone from the crowd. Uhaa then walks over to his downed opponent before busting out a standing Moonsault! Uhaa then follows up with a Standing Shooting Star Press. The ref begins to check on the local and begins to count him out when Nation instead of trying for a cover leaves the ring. Uhaa is joined outside by Prince Nana and the two men slowly walk backstage as the ref declares Nation's opponent has been KOed.
Lacey: And the winner of the match as a result of a Knockout. Uhaa Nation.
[With no one's arm to raise the referee begins to check on the local. Some of the fans in the crowd can be heard raving about Nation. In particular his finishing sequence of moves. Various replays of his match air on the big screen.]
Todd: Now all I can say to that is WOW. Uhaa Nation certainly lived up to the hype he has recieved. I am definitely a fan.
Scott: You know he did look very good. But then again he did not really have a challenge there did he? I mean don't get me wrong I have never seen a big man move like that but at the same time anyone can look impressive beating someone like that. I need to see Nation against a PWR superstar before I say if he has lived up to expectations.
Todd: But come on Scott. You have to admit Uhaa looked devastating out there. I mean there was no doubt in his mind the match was finished as he and Nana simply left the ring before his opponent was even declared to be out. That to me not only speaks confidence but also the way all his moves linked together speaks a lot of skill. Nation may have the tools to reach all the statements made about him.
Main Event: AeroStar vs Akira Tozawa vs Joey Ryan vs John Hennigan vs Prince Devitt vs Sami Callihan vs Scorpio Sky vs Shane Helms vs YAMATO vs Zach Sabre Jr in a 10 man over the top rope battle royal - First man eliminated has #1 at all or nothing and the winner gets #30
The bell rings to kickstart the match and almost straight away it looks like we will get a gangs of New York style fight. As Ryan, Callihan, Sky, Helms and YAMATO stand together on one side of the ring and AeroStar, Tozawa, Hennigan, Devitt and Sabre stand on the other side. The crowd are buzzing at the thought of this brawl when Sami Callihan is the first to take the plunge as he jumps AeroStar. YAMATO brawls with Tozawa, Hennigan brawls with Helms and Sabre and Devitt are brawling with Sky and Ryan. At first it seems the Regime members are the ones in control as they are taking the fight to the Resistance guys.
As The 5 Regime members stand tall the crowd in attendance begins to boo when all of a sudden Shane Helms catches YAMATO with a Single Knee FaceBuster. Callihan then follows up with a lariat to Helms before turning into a double superkick from Ryan and Sky. Sky and Ryan then lift YAMATO up and hit him with a high and low comination before catching Devitt with a spear/Clothesline combination. As the crowd in attendance really begins to boo The reigning Tag Champs stand tall in the ring obnoxiously celebrating when Sky shockingly kicks Ryan in the gut before tossing him over the ropes and to the floor.
Joey Ryan has been eliminated from the match - As a result of the stipulation Ryan will enter #1 in the All or Nothing Gaintlet
The crowd cheers as a arrogant Sky smirks. On the outside of the ring Ryan begins protesting his elimination as Sky just shrugs his shoulders and says 'Every man for himself'. Sky then turns round into a superkick from Sabre which sends him through the ropes and onto the apron. Sabre then follows up by catching YAMATO with a leg lariat before turning his attentions to Akira Tozawa. As Tozawa slowly gets to his feet Sabre kicks him in the gut and attempts to clothesline him over the ropes but Tozawa manages to backdrop Sabre over the top rope. Sabre manages to take his footing on the apron and spins Akira round before pulling him over the ropes onto the apron. The two men then trade shots before Akira manages to shove Sabre back into the ring post. Sabre hit the ringpost hard and falls off the apron to the floor.
Zach Sabre Jr has been eliminated
Tozawa is a bit slow getting back into the ring and is met with a vicious running kick to the head by YAMATO. YAMATO then follows up with a dropkick to Akira which sends him flying back off the apron and crashing back into the Guard Rail. YAMATO then follows up by catching Devitt with a boot to the face before grabbing AeroStar and attempting to press him over his head. YAMATO walks Aerostar to the ropes but as he goes to drop him over Aerostar counters with a hurricanrana which sends YAMATO over the ropes and to the floor.
Akira Tozawa has been eliminated! YAMATO has been eliminated!
As AeroStar gets to his feet he quickly kicks Scorpio Sky across the chest before catching Sami Callihan with a dropkick. AeroStar then hits the ropes and tries for a crossbody only for Sami to catch him. Sami quickly slams him before hitting the ropes and landing a running Knee to the head. Sami then motions for the Assault Driver when he is spun round by John Hennigan. Hennigan quickly catches him with a superkick which wobbles the New Horror before clotheslining him over the ropes and to the floor. However as Hennigan turns round he is charged Scorpio Sky. Hennigan manages to backdrop him onto the apron before springing up the ropes and blasting him with a Flying Chuck Kick which sends Scorpio to the floor.
Sami Callihan has Been Eliminated! Scorpio Sky has been eliminated!
As we get down to the final four of Prince Devitt, John Hennigan, Shane Helms and Aerostar. The match pairs off with Devitt focusing on beating down Helms who he has a lot of history with and AeroStar and Hennigan paired off. After a few exchanges AeroStar attempts a Hurricanrana on Hennigan only for John to counter with a powerbomb. Hennigan keeps ahold of his legs and manages to slingshot AeroStar over the ropes eliminating him. Hennigan then hits Devitt and he and Helms begin to double team Devitt with a double suplex. Hennigan then hits Helms with a big shot before following up with a leg sweep to the roar of the crowd. Hennigan then lands a standing moonsault on Helms Devitt slowly begins to get to his feet. Devitt charges John but John ducks under and spins him round for the Moonlight Drive. Hennigan then taunts but as he goes for the move Devitt spins out and plants him with a Bloody Sunday before throwing him over the ropes and to the floor. As Devitt looks to the crowd who are chanting his name he is quickly dumped over the ropes by Shane Helms.
AeroStar has been eliminated! John Hennigan has been eliminated! Prince Devitt has been eliminated!
Lacey: And the winner of the match and the man who will be entering at Number 30 for the All or Nothing Gauntlet match. Shane Helms.
[The crowd in attendance boos loudly as a victorious Helms stands tall in the ring. Helms is then handed his Pure title by the ref before climbing to the top rope. As Helms shouts out 'Number 30' to the crowd he draws more boos. On the outside of the ring a pissed off Prince Devitt can be seen staring down Helms. As the show comes to a close we see the image of Helms standing on the turnbuckle with his title raised in the air.]
Todd: So there you have it. Shane Helms is the man who has won Number 30 in the All or Nothing Gauntlet Match.
Scott: Yeah it was a crafty move by Helms. He played a bit possum allowing Devitt to toss out Hennigan before dumping him over the ropes. But Todd there is one other pressing thing to mention. Joey Ryan will enter at Number one in the Gauntlet match. He is going to be at a severe disadvantage.
Todd: Yes Joey will. His odds in the match are not that good. Well fans that is all we have time for tonight. I am Todd Grisham and he is Scott Steiner. And we will see you next week.
Pro Wrestling R Next Show Preview
vs
Following their brawl this past week. The teams of AeroForm and V.I will be getting another shot at each other this coming week. The bad blood has been constantly building with these two teams so it will be interesting to see what happens this coming week.
Vs
Also set for this week is a handicap match as Colt Cabana takes on the PWR Tag Team Champions Joey Ryan and Scorpio Sky. Cabana has made it clear he wants Tag Gold which is why many feel this match was put together by Prazak/Dibiase to prove a point. Can Cabana overcome the odds? Or will the champs reign supreme?
Following his 'Impressive' Debut this past week. Uhaa Nation is set to be in action again this week. Nation will of course be accompanied by his manager Prince Nana.
Vs
Also set this week is a match between 'The Shooter' Harry Smith and 'Hurricane' John Walters. This match is an All or Nothing Qualifier and is also Smith's PWR debut. Can Walters pulls off a huge upset or will Smith make an impressive statement.
vs
In the main event of the evening. We will get a 2 on 3 handicap match as Patrick Brink, Alex Koslov and Jimmy Rave will take on PAC and Prince Devitt. PAC accepted the challenge on the last show and Prince Devitt stepped up to the plate straight away. This will be a first in PWR as we get not one but two King of Lion's Cup winners teamed up together in a match. Can PAC/Devitt beat the numbers game or will Patrick Brink do what he set out to do and eliminate the threat to the Regime.
All this and more next time on Pro Wrestling R!
The following is a PWR.Com Exclusive
March 1988 - Jerry Lynn
'It's hard to believe that it has been 24 years since that faithful day. A day which I will always look back on and think of fondly. As I made my in ring debut. Now that is the main reason I decided to announce my retirement for the end of this year. As I want to be able to look back on my time and say I went out on top. I went out with my head held high. I have been with some of the best wrestling companies from around the world. From dressing up as a superhero under the moniker Mr J.L to tearing it up in main events in ECW with the likes of Justin Credible and RVD. I went on to New York and I become the Light Heavyweight Champion before finally moving on to TNA. It was in TNA that I worked with some of the best up and comers I have ever seen at that time. Now I have started with PWR I get that same feeling. I see the same hungry, Talented and driven wrestlers that I saw back then. I see guys willing to go all out and bust their asses to send the fans home happy. So what better way for me to close out my career then in Pro Wrestling R. So I have made a decision that by the end of the year I will be retiring but also that by the end of the year I will be Champion!'
Jerry Lynn is officially announced for the All or Nothing Gauntlet Match
PWR News
~ Jack Evans and Tyson Tarver have officially departed from the brand. Both men are long time mainstays with the roster and it was felt their releases were mainly down to budget cuts. PWR wishes both men well in their future and are open about bringing both men back in the future.
~ Another man on the verge of being released is one AR Fox. Now this is down to an awkward situation involving a series of videos he has on the internet. The feeling is PWR has no problem with AR Fox as a talent or as a person but they can not have him being featured on TV as this is not the image PWR or SKY One want to project.
~ In other news expect PWR to be signing Ophidian soon. PWR are very, Very impressed with his talents as a Heel and will be using him in a main role from the start. Ophidian has had a few tryouts with PWR in the past and had one notable match with Jack Evans in which he challenged him to a dance off before beating him down.
~ The local defeated by Uhaa Nation was a young wrestler known as Luke Hawx. Hawx was said to have impressed management with his attitude backstage and also the way he worked with Nation. Whether this will lead to him recieving a contract is unknown.
~ Plans as of late are to hold a Tag Team Turmoil Match at PWR's Paradise Lost PPV. Paradise Lost is of course PWR's flagship show and is the month after All or Nothing. The idea management is having is to include PWR duos and a few Indy teams such as The Blackout, The Colony and D.U.F.
Critic's Review
The latest edition of PWR's live event did not dissapoint. We saw a variety of themes throughout the night from Strong Style Wrestling to Comedy.
The matches have all be rated out of 5. 1 = Poor - 5 = Great
Kicking off the show we saw Willie Mack take on Caylen Croft. Before the match Croft cut a promo mocking Willie for his 'Girth' which drew him some heat from the crowd. The match itself was nothing special but thanks to the opening promo and the additional heat it was better then it would have been. In the end Willie Mack got the win following a running senton splash on Croft. 3/5
The second match of the evening saw a over the top rope battle royal in which the winner would recieve a title shot in the main event against shane helms. There were many guest appearances in this match and the final four saw two regular names and two guests as we got down to Akira Tozawa, Alex Koslov, Ophidian and Mike Bennett. Tozawa managed to eliminate Koslov with a dropkick which sent him over the ropes before being double teamed by Bennett and Ophidian. However from here the Ophidian/Bennett alliance broke down as Ophidian eliminated Bennett. Ophidian then tried to eliminate Akira but was backdropped over the ropes instead. 4/5
Up next we saw El Generico take on Chavo Guerrero. This was a good match and saw some good highspots between both men. It must be said not many felt Chavo was going to come out on top. But towards the end of the match when he planted Generico with a BrainBuster the crowd was in shock at how close the near fall was. In the end however Generico scored the win following a top rope Hurricanrana. 4/5
Match Four saw Patrick Brink take on Carlito. This match wasn't really long or that good but that was manly due to the fact that Brink appeared to be suffering from ring rust. In the finish of the match Brink got the win with the Out on the Brink (F-5). 2/5
The 5th match saw PAC take on Amazing Red. It is great to here how the fans have warmed to the British wrestler and the feeling is management made the right choice in bringing him in. The match was a spot fest it has to be said featuring several intricate highflying sequences. The finish of the match saw PAC hit a breathtaking 630 splash on Red for the win. 3.5/5
Tag Team action was next as we saw Joey Ryan and Scorpio Sky team up to take on Colt Cabana and Zach Sabre Jr. This was a good match and saw several comedic spots between Colt and Joey Ryan. All four men were over with the crowd and did their best to put on a show for the fans. In the finish of the match Ryan pinned Sabre with a Rude Awakening Neckbreaker. 4/5
In the co main event we saw Prince Devitt take on Mark Copani. Devitt was one of the most popular guys on the show and was taking on a heat magnet in Mark Copani. Devitt and Copani had a great match which was 50/50 all the way through. In the end however Devitt got the win following a Prince's Throne. 3.5/5
For the main event Shane Helms defended his Pure Title against Akira Tozawa. This match stole the show as many expected it would do. As it looked that Tozawa would be walking out Champion tonight after hitting an impressive series of German Suplexes. Helms lowblowed him getting himself purposely DQed. After the match to send people home happy Tozawa planted Hems with 3 more suplexes with the crowd counting along. 4.5/5
(Participants in Battle Royal are as followed Akira Tozawa, Ophidian, Mike Bennett, Alex Koslov, Mixed Martial Archie, AeroStar, Chris Mordetzky, Luke Hawx, Jon Davis, Brian Kendrick, Emil Sitoci, Shaun Ricker, Carl Ouellet, Flip Kendrick, Genki Horiguchi, Johnny Gargano, MVP, Ryo Saito, Louis Lyndon. Brian Cage-Taylor, Adam Pearce, TJ Perkins, Kazuchika Okada, Tony Nese and Sami Callihan)
