World Booking Alliance

Okay so every booking league started on here so far has, well they've all failed or been killed off or whatever, so I'm going to take whatever free time I have and try and get one up and running. I won't be competing in the competition but I will be reading and rating the shows and giving feedback each week. Each season will run for 6 months, that means two seasons a year. I will be looking for 5 brands and will be adding 1-2 more at the end of the season. Fill out the application below. There will be no developmental brands or whatever, just one main brand. Rosters
Once every brand has signed up, each brand will be assigned 22 wrestlers to their brand, randomly, to be the start of their roster. Once the thread is made you will then be able to extend your roster out to 35. This number does not include General Manager or Backstage Interviewer(s). You will not be required to sign commentators. There will be 2 people set aside as WBA Commentators, you are not required to use them.

This is a company based solely around the legends of the business! (sorry for stealing your idea Jake )

The Wrestling Revolution is a brand new concept to grace the land of professional wrestling. Founded by Nigel McGuiness and Jerry Lynn these two men have devised a plan which will see 16 men enter The Wrestling Revolution program before being split into two teams to be trained under these wrestling legends. For the winner, a contract with one of the biggest promotions in North America, Ring of Honor, is up for grabs and the losers, a missed opportunity. The two coaches will be assembling a support team to assist them in training their team of rookies as cameras follow their every move 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and streams live to thewrestlingrevolution.com! What will happen when 16 men vying for one contract enter the The Wrestling Revolution house? Whose tempers will flare? Who will walk away as Ring of Honor’s next big thing?

The Format
Wrestlers from around the world will send their audition tapes into The Wrestling Revolution staff stating why they deserve a spot in the The Wrestling Revolution house while also providing a 5 minute clip showing exactly what they’re capable of in the ring. The Wrestling Revolution staff will then chose the 32 most deserving men from these audition tapes and fly them to The Wrestling Revolution house in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where they will be paired up and square off in the The Wrestling Revolution ring for 5 minutes. Following this Nigel McGuiness and Jerry Lynn will draft their desired team and move them into The Wrestling Revolution house. It is here that these 16 men will spend the next 4 months, eating, sleeping, living, training and competing for a Ring of Honor contract.

Mondays and Thursdays the teams of eight will meet with their training for a group training session while also having the option to set up solo and group training sessions with their squads support team. Friday night the two captains nominate a wrestler from their team to compete on the Sunday with the loser being eliminated from the competition and sent home from The Wrestling Revolution house. When two men are left standing they will compete on a Ring of Honor show with the winner earning a contract with the promotion.

But it isn’t all business as these men kick back and relax, and generally mess with each other, all in a big to the be the next Ring of Honor wrestler, to be the first Wrestling Revolutionary!

Nigel McGuiness
A former Ring of Honor Heavyweight and Pure Champion, the longest reigning in the titles history, a sting in TNA as Desmond Wolfe and over 12 years’ experience makes Nigel McGuiness one of the most recognisable and respected veterans of the industry. Now retired from in ring action Nigel McGuiness is focusing his immense talents on creating a new wave of professional wrestlers, an incredibly talented wave.

Jerry Lynn
24 years and still kicking. Jerry Lynn is one of the most respected men to ever step foot inside a wrestling ring, having won World Championship gold in ECW and Ring of Honor. Jerry Lynn also competed in WCW, WWE and TNA, where he helped mould the infamous X Division! Through The Wrestling Revolution experiment, Jerry Lynn plans on creating the next best professional wrestler in the world!

So basically what I’m going to do is this. Mondays I’ll cover the Team Lynn training sessions, Thursdays the Team McGuiness training sessions. Throughout the week I’ll post “footage” from the house and then Friday the meeting where the competitors for the week are announced and then the match Sunday. This is based on The Ultimate Fighter somewhat and relies heavily on kayfabe. The Support Squads will interact with the competitors through the week; hopefully it isn’t too farfetched to get behind.

Adam/Karl as for your GM's, they were put into the roster making process do-hingy and have been moved to your brand as active competitors. It is your choice whether you make them GM or not.
