RED's World Wrestling Entertainment - The Return - Page 3 Wwe-night-of-champions-2014

The Night of Champions live pre-show begins with Rene Young welcoming us to tonight's panel which features the analyst Alex Riley, 5x time WCW Champion Booker T and special guest, the Hall of Famer Bret "The Hitman" Hart. They talk about how important it is to be a Champion and they discuss the Champion of Champions battle royal. Riley predicts that Dolph Ziggler is going to shock the world tonight while Booker feels like this is going to be the Viper's night. Hart roots for Cena.

We get a promo for the Champion of Champions Battle Royal.

Back to the panel, they talk about the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match between Wade Barrett and Roman Reigns. Riley predicts the Barrett will find a way to hold on to the title while Booker and Hart go with Reigns. Then they talk about Bray Wyatt vs. Big Show.

We get a video vignette for Big Show vs. Bray Wyatt.

Backstage, Tom Philips interviews Paige. Paige says that she is waiting for her mother who will be watching from the front row tonight as she defeats AJ again. Paige says that when she gets her third and final match against AJ she is going to have her entire family watching from ringside while AJ will have no one to give her a shoulder to cry on because every person close to her "walks out" on her.

The Ravishing Russian Lana comes out. She says that while Mark Henry is considered the World's Strongest Man he is not as powerful as Mother Russia's supreme warrior. And he is not close to be as powerful as our leader, the great Vladimir Putin. She says that tonight, Mark Henry will fail and Russia's hero will rise. She orders everyone to rise for the super athlete, Rusev. Rusev comes out and along with Lana gets to the ring. Mark Henry comes out next to a big pop from the crowd. We see replays from their match on Raw where Henry crashed through the barricade. As a result Henry's ribs are bandaged.

Back in the ring, Henry hits a JYD head-butt before going for a Vader Bomb, but Rusev picks the ankle and brings him down to the mat hard. Rusev grunts and begins to stomp away at the mat. Henry slowly begins to get up. Rusev goes to apply the Accolade, and he’s able to lock it in. Henry has a hard time fightign back as the crowd wills him on. Henry manages to break free his right arm and eventually he breaks the hold. Rusev charges for a super kick but Henry catches him wit a World's Strongest Slam. Henry takes his time before covering for a nearfall. Henry misses a splash and Rusev drops him with a super kick to the chest. Rusev applies the Accolade again and this time Henry has no power left to fight out of it. Henry taps out.

Winner: Rusev!

After the match, Lana raises Rusev’s arm for the crowd as a giant Russian Federation flag unfurls above the ring. The ringside doctor comes into the ring to check on the now unconscious Mark Henry.

We get a promo for the Hell in a Cell PPV.
