And to touch on what the three of you mentioned, even suggesting that the US armed forces of ANY sort, be it Army, Air Force, Marines, Navy, or any others, are somehow PARALLEL to al Qaeda or the Taliban is downright disgraceful. I condemn this idiocy.

God damn, the US armed forces aren't a radical-Islam-based "kill the Christians and Jews" gang that terrorize and attack every other UN country just because. Every terrorist organization must (and someday will, one way or another) pay for their actions, and so will any country that harbors the bastards. As for the military, unless they acted individually and did something wrong, they should be honored for their service, and I find it rather offensive to be comparing them in any way, shape, or form to al Qaeda or the Taliban. I am expecting a reply to this, so I must say ahead of time, whatever bullshit argument you decide upon that we "do the same thing as them," the US and the Bush administration for that matter handled the events of the past eleven years EXACTLY the way they should have. It was ugly, yes, but it could've been much uglier.

I just get mad when disrespect like this is shown. Not just to the military, but (even though not mentioned here) the Bush administration, because I feel obligated to stand up for what is right and President Bush and company did it right.

It was moreso directed at Marik saying we are "parallel" to them. Yes, to them we're the bad guys but that is because we are doing good. They're doing wrong and we're doing right. That's the difference.

Let me set the scene for you scrubs, though: the year is 2021. A small group of rogue Americans hijack an airplane and fly it into the Burg Al-Arab, which is in Dubai (just had to point it out, since you guys are retarded). Anyways, the United Erab Emirates spend the next (over) 10 years invading Canada and torturing its citizens, eventually leaving over 100K dead.

Now, imagine that somewhere in Texas, there is a large foreign military base. Let's go with a Chineseseseses or Russki, 'cause America still thinks the Cold War is going on. Not only that, but thousands of armed foreign troops constantly patrol American streets in heavily armed military vehicles. Why are they here? Under the auspices of keeping the people safe, of course! That, and "promoting" democracy, and protecting their "strategic interests."



Of course, these foreign troops operate outside of US law, and the Constitution does not apply to them. And every now and then they make "mistakes" and "act on bad information", ergo "accidentally" killing and terrorizing innocent Americans. This of course includes women and children, most of the time with little to no repercussions. These troops set up check points on American soil, and routinely search and ransack entire neighbourhoods. Of course, Americans are fearful of these foreign troops and overwhelmingly think that America would be better off without their presence. Some Americans get so angry that foreign powers occupy them that they join together to fight them off, in defence of American soil and sovereignty. This is due to leadership and government refusing, or being unable to do so. Then, those Americans are labelled terrorists or insurgents for their defensive actions. And they are routinely captured, tortured, and killed by the foreign troops on American land. The occupiers attitude is that if they just kill enough Americans, the resistance would stop. Instead, for every American killed, more would take up arms against them, resulting in perpetual bloodshed.
