ECCW: Extreme Created Championship Wrestling 23.0

[There are an overwhelming amount of cheers as Money blares through the speakers. A green spotlight shines down on the stage but there is no sign of Peter Linch. Eventually, Peter Linch comes out but in an unexpected fashion; he wheels himself out on a wheelchair. He has his right leg propped up in a cast yet is somehow still able to wear a suit. He rolls down the stage, a solemn look on his face the entire time. He reaches the bottom of the ramp and stops outside of the ring. A referee runs down the ramp and helps Linch to his feet before helping to slide him in the ring. The referee lifts up the wheelchair and folds it up, sliding it in the ring. The referee proceeds to get in the ring and sets the chair back up before helping Linch into it. The referee then leaves the ring, leaving Linch sitting in the centre of the ring with a mic in hand.]

Peter Linch: “As you all may have heard, this past Sunday at the Heavy Metal PPV I was injured and had to forfeit the match. When I went through that pod in the Elimination Chamber Match I felt the most excruciating pain that I have ever experienced in my entire life. I wanted to continue, trust me I did, but I just couldn’t and it hurt me so much when I had to get stretchered out of there.”

[Linch cracks his neck a little as the fans give him a small cheer.]

Peter Linch: “I went to the hospital straight away and it took the doctors God knows how many tests before they finally gave me a diagnosis and it crushed me when they gave me the news. Unfortunately I have suffered a Torn ACL due to the impact of smashing against the steel chamber and the glass pod. I spoke to the doctors after finding out my diagnosis and I was informed that I will be out between six and eight months.”

[Linch laughs as the fans begin to boo, growing louder and louder until Linch silences them.]

Peter Linch: “You know what the best part of all this is? I have finally saw sense and can now see exactly how stupid I have been. For months now I have been treating you all as if you were equal to me and, let’s be honest, we are anything but equal. I am an ECCW Superstar and one of the biggest things to come out of this company. You lot, on the other hand, are scum. Pure scum. You sit there and you criticise guys like me who put their lives on the line for your entertainment and what do we get back? Nothing! You are nothing but ignorant little pricks!”

[Linch grins out at the crowd, laughing at their immediate change in attitude towards him.]

Peter Linch: “This is exactly what I mean; every single one of you are bigger hypocrites than those politicians that sit and say they are going to make all of these changes. Just because I am injured I don’t want your sympathy and I certainly don’t want your pity. I am not called “The Money Maker” for nothing; I am what brings you to this arena! If I were not here then neither would any of you! I know it, you know it and Mathew Jericho knows it!”

[Linch looks around at the fans with a sort of bored yet smug look upon his face.]

Peter Linch: “I am the future of this business, hell I am the future of this industry! Five years from now everyone will be talking about ME! In fact, this time next year I will be World Champion and I will be running this company and making it better than it has ever been before! I am going to be the future and after me this company, this business, will never be the same again because I am irreplaceable and my shoes could never be filled. I will be back and when I am back I am going to pick up where I left off and I WILL get to the top one way or another. You will all be sorry for the way you have treated me.”

[Linch throws the microphone aside, grinning out at the crowd. He wheels himself over to the corner and manages to use the strength in his arms to lift himself off of the chair and awkwardly step out onto the apron. He manages to balance himself on one leg and reaches in, picking up the wheelchair. He lifts it over the top rope and drops it down to the ramp before hopping down the steps. He slumps into the chair and rolls up the ramp until finally reaching the stage. He turns to the fans as a “You suck!” chant breaks out. He stares out at them, glaring, before turning his back on them and rolling backstage.]

*The video opens and it's an image of Riff Radley sitting on a crate. The camera is tilted slightly and there is a poster of Dustin Shore, the World champion, behind him. Riff has a pair of aviators on, but he doesn't have his supposedly "usual" suit and such. He just looks normal for once. His big juicers aren't with him either. Riff brushes back his now long hair from his face before speaking.*

Riff Radley
"A lot can change in a matter of days. A lot can change in a matter of hours, in minutes, in seconds. And that's what happened last night. That's what's happened over the past month or so. I lost my fortune, you know. Put it all in the wrong places and now it's all gone. I'm basically broke. I've begun to rethink my approach to life. I don't want to be that stupid piece of shit using money to fuck with people. No, that's not how it's supposed to be. I was raised better than that I would think. Better than the worthless hunk of junk I've been over the past while actually."

*Riff hops down off of the crate and now leans against it.*

Riff Radley
"To show a comparison, I'd like to bring up my first match in CWW. It was a dark match before the show, but I'll give you one guess at who I faced."

*Riff points behind him.*

Riff Radley
"That man. Not only did I face him, I beat him. I haven't faced Dustin Shore since then and he's now the World Champion here in ECCW. I've got no idea what changed, but the fact that I won my match lat night, against a man Dustin thought he'd face should be enough to show management that I deserve a shot at Shore himself. At least a reuninon match. A check up of sorts. So, how about it Dustin? You in or what?"

*The video cuts to black as Riff walks away.*

Backstage Todd Grisham interviews John Leopold.

Josh: John, last night on Crush you lost to Will Williams in a match for the ECCW Legends Championship. Many have stated that you came up short because Will cheated his way to the victory. Care to comment?

Leopold smirks and he nods.

"Well yeah actually I would like to comment on that, you see people blame Will that he uses underhanded aways to win his matches. Well people you are right. Will cheated to beat Me just like he cheated in the past to get some big victories. But this is his style. Will doesn't give a rats-ass about the rules and he does whatever it takes to win. Look, what I'm trying to say is that...wait, may I borrow this? Thanks."

Leopold takes the mic from Todd and he heads out to the arena.
The former millionaire takes a seat in the empty arena. The camera follows him.

"So, let's pretend that I'm a fan ok? And I watch Will Williams defending the ECCW Legends Championship against John Leopold. Roll the footage."

Footage from the finish of the match between Leopold and Will is shown in the screen.

"Now as a fan I don't like what I see and I boo Will. But let's take a moment to think about it. Will is defending his Legends Championship, his opponent is a former World Champion and Will is in trouble until he finds an opening and he takes a cheap shot to secure the win. If you really think about it, you can't blame him. I can't blame him and for damn sure I will not start bitching about this and I will not claim that Will is a piece of trash that can't get a clear win. See, I haven't been an Angel here in ECCW either. I did some worse things to beat guys like Jarrett Calloway, Dustin Shore and even Will Williams. Heck, I even used to call Myself the "Lord of ECCW"! When you try to make a name for youself you do whatever it takes to succeed. And when you do get to the top you do whatever it takes to stay there. Of course all that doesn't mean that cheating your way to the victory is something good but it's a desperate move. The fact that Will had no other choice but to cheat so he can beat Me assures Me that I am better than him. I am better than Will and I damn sure can beat him if I get another shot at him. So with that said I will admit in front of the camera that I respect Will for his legacy here in ECCW especially on the Crush brand. I like his character and I think his kinky jokes are epic. However, I won't let what happened last night slide away. I will get a rematch against Will and I will beat him. But, and that's a big BUT, if Will beats Me fair and square then I will come out to the arena in front of a live audience and I will admit that Will Williams is better than Me. So here I drop the challenge Willy. One more match. You win, I embarrass myself in front of the entire world. I win, then I just win. Think about it, bitch!"

Leopold leaves the mic to a chair next to him and he gets up to head to the back.

Alex Nova's theme hits and the fans cheer him out, cause over here on ECCW he's a mothafuckkin FACE. He walks out at the rapping part of the song, not the beginning.. so yeah he walks out with the title slung around his shoulder and wondering what Kevin's doing in the back with his title and another replica belt. He walks down the ramp giving some fans high fives then heading into the ring with a mic.

Alex Nova: So yeah I'm here.. but where oh where, has Kevin Evans gone... oh where oh WHERE could he be? Could he be in the back walking around with a fake replica belt, looking for what's on my shoulder? that's right Kevin, I thought you'd snap any day, but I didn't think it would all unfold right here. So come on out here, for the second time.. sorry to keep you waiting. Come on out!

The Demon Azazel is working out in the gym.

John Leopold is hanging around backstage with some guys from the crew.

Alex walks in looking down at the ground then quickly snaps his head up eye to eye with Matthew. There's an awkward silence in the room, and he swallows, and backs up a few steps.

"Is there a reason you're staring at me like that..?"
