WWE SmackDown 2/1/13

"Then. Now. Forever." The WWE video leads us into the show.

We go to the arena with Michael Cole and Mick Foley welcoming us to the show live from Sacramento, California. Tonight we will have some 6 man tag team action as Chris Jericho teams up with The Big Time Players to take on Randy Orton and the WWE Tag Team Champions CM Punk and Kane.

Cody Rhodes comes out. Rhodes says that apparently he is not welcome here on SmackDown because he is a Raw guy. He says that brand differences can be put aside when you need to make a statement. He shows footage from last Monday on Raw when Mick Foley said he would be the special guest referee for Miz vs Rhodes at No Way Out. Rhodes exits the ring and gets up into the announce table. Rhodes asks Foley what the hell he thinks he is doing. He asks Foley if he finds this funny or amusing. He says that the Miz and Mick Foley have disrespected him more than anyone else in the past weeks. Rhodes says that at No Way Out he will defeat the Miz, letting everybody know that he should be in the main event of WrestleMania and there is nothing that Foley can do about it special guest referee or not. Foley says that he will call it down the middle and let the best man win. Cody tells him to shut up. Rhodes says that if Foley screws him out at No Way Out he will automatically become undeserving to become a Hall of Famer. Foley goes to speak but once again Rhodes tells him to shut up. Rhodes says that he will not be disrespected anymore. Booker T comes out and Rhodes returns to the ring. Booker says that he is the personal assistant of Co-GM Ric Flair and is his duty to tell Rhodes that he is not welcomed here. He tells Rhodes that this is not Raw so he can't insult commentators and waste everyone's time. Booker asks Cody to leave or he will be escorted out of the building by security. Rhodes says that he will not allow Booker to disrespect him. Cody says that he will not leave this building until he decides to do so. Eric Bischoff comes out. Bischoff says that this is his show and Booker has no authority to take such decisions as throwing people out of the building. Bischoff says that he is in charge and he commands Booker to leave the ring now. Booker does as he is told but Ric Flair catches him up on the ramp. Flair says that they things go around here it's 50-50. He says that Bischoff has half authority around here and the other half goes to the Nature Boy. Flair says that since Bischoff wants to keep Cody here he may do so. But Rhodes will have to compete in a match. So tonight Cody Rhodes will go one on one against Christian. Bischoff asks Flair if that's the best he's got. Eric says that he brings excitement to SmackDown and not Flair. He says that he will top Flair's match with tonight's main event which will be a possible WrestleMania main event. The World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler will face the 2013 Royal Rumble winner The Miz. Flair admits the he has one hell of a partner.

Commercial break

We are back and tonight's main event is set with Dolph Ziggler facing The Miz as also tonight Cody Rhodes will face Christian.

Heath Slater and Jinder Mahal are in the ring. Slater says that tonight they continue their path of dominance in singles competition. He says that one of them will compete tonight and the right way to decide who, is by letting luck decide. Mahal flips a coin and "it" picks Slater. Sin Cara comes out next.

Back in the ring, Slater gets a nearfall. Slater elbows away at Cara and applies a headlock. Cara fights up, but Slater knees him down. Cara ducks a clothesline and hits a springboard back elbow. Cara stomps the hand, wrenches it, and hits a flipping arm drag that sends Slater out of the ring. Cara hits a twisting plancha over the ropes taking out Slater on the outside. Cara sends him back in the ring and gets to the apron. Mahal gets close so Cara leaps with a hurricarana to Jinder on the outside. Sin Cara returns to the ring and Slater greets him with a backbreaker for a nearfall. Cara counters a bodyslam attempt with an arm-drag. Cara gets to the apron and catches Slater with a pele kick. Cara springboards and connects with a headscissors that sends Slater in the middle rope. Sin Cara then hits a 619 in honor of Rey Mysterio. Sin Cara follows up with the West Coast Pop for the win.

Winner: Sin Cara!

After the match, Jinder Mahal attacks Sin Cara and puts him in the Camel Clutch as Slater taunts him.

Backstage Dolph Ziggler catches up to Eric Bischoff. Ziggler says that he was supposed to take the night off and now he has to face Miz. Ziggler says that this is wrong. He says that he thought he and Eric were seen eye to eye. Bischoff says that he didn't have any other choice. He says that must stay the man in charge on SmackDown and to do so he mustn't allow Ric Flair to overshadow him. He says that he needed a strong main event to top the match that Flair made. Plus, in case that Ziggler is not the World Champion come WrestleMania or Miz picks the WWE Champion we might not get to see this one on one match so this is a good chance. Ziggler says that's garbage. He says that he is the World Champion and he should be treated properly. Bischoff tells Ziggler to get ready for his match and don't get in his nerves. Ziggler says that maybe Ric Flair should be the permanent GM of SmackDown. Bischoff says that this was the worst thing that Ziggler could say right now. He tells Ziggler that when he opens his loud-mouth he needs to know when to shut it. He tells Ziggler that he just got himself a match for next week too. Next week on SmackDown, Dolph will face Kane.

Sheamus smacks Tensai in the back with the chair twice and the big man rolls out of the ring. Sheamus helps up Santino and Santino shouts at Tensai to get back in the ring if he has the guts. Miz says that tonight's match against Dolph Ziggler will help him make his decision regarding his WrestleMania opponent. He says that no matter the outcome it's going to be a great match but it's up to the people who are watching to determine whether it's a WrestleMania quality match or not. He asks the fans to let him know via Facebook or Twitter after tonight's SmackDown if they consider this match a possible WrestleMania main event. Cody Rhodes shows up and asks Miz to stop being so ridiculous. He asks Miz since when does he cares about what the fans think. He says that Miz is nothing but a fraud. A punk that got lucky. Miz says that he should be offended by that but he understands that being a loser messes with your brains. He says that he feels sorry about Cody and at No Way Out he will put him out of his misery with all due respect. Miz leaves as Rhodes looks extremely mad. He drops Striker's mic down and then shoves him away.

WWE Monday night Raw (2/4/13)

"Then. Now. Forever." The WWE video leads us into the show.

We go to the arena where Jerry Lawler and Jim Ross welcome us to the show live from Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Chairman of the Board Mr. McMahon himself comes out to open the show. Vince says that tonight the road to WrestleMania continues in Las Vegas. He says that WrestleMania XXIX is going to be the biggest, greatest show in history. The Most Electrifying man is sports entertainment, the Brahma Bull, the Great One, The Rock will take on the Heartbreak Kid, the Showstopper, Mr. WrestleMania himself Shawn Michaels. He says that apart from that he has a major announcement regarding a very special guest who will attend WrestleMania this year. He says it's not Justin Bieber. Vince announces that the special guest of WrestleMania XXIX will be the famous Korean artist PSY! Vince says that he would do the Gangnam Style dance right now but he really doesn't wanna spoil the fun we will have come WrestleMania. He says that there is one more major announcement he needs to make and it's not about WrestleMania. It's about next week. He says that for the past few years the road WrestleMania was about to go through the Elimination Chamber at this point of the year. Vince says that this year things are a bit different though because at the No Way Out PPV there will be no Elimination Chamber matches. However, next week on Raw and for the first time ever, we will have an Elimination Chamber match live on Monday night Raw! Vince says that it's not going to be just a regular Elimination Chamber match. For the first time, it will be a 6 man tag team Elimination Chamber match. It's going to be the World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler teaming up with Mason Ryan and Cody Rhodes to take on the team of the 2013 Royal Rumble match winner, The Miz, Christian and the WWE Champion John Cena. Vince says that this match will surely affect those 6 superstars and will cause them to move into No Way Out without being 100%. But this is the prize you pay to be a WWE Superstar. Cody Rhodes comes out on his new theme song. Cody says that he feels disrespected once again and this time it hurts knowing that it comes from a man who knew his father. Cody says that he is the future of this industry and his destiny is to become the new face of the WWE. Vince says that if Cody is all that then he should prove it by winning the Elimination Chamber match next week, beating the Miz at No Way Out and also winning his WrestleMania match. Until he does all that no one will respect him. The World Champion Dolph Ziggler comes out. Ziggler says that he is the World Champion and he deserves to be respected more than anyone else. He says that his title is on the line at No Way Out so it's crazy to expect him to compete in a match as dangerous as the Elimination Chamber just 6 days before the PPV. Vince says that this is how it go down and he better get over it. Both Cody and Dolph says that they will not do it. Vince says that this is America and we have free will. No one is forced to do anything. But, if Ziggler doesn't compete in the Elimination Chamber match he will be stripped off the World title. And if Cody does not compete he will be fired. Rhodes and Ziggler agree that this is unfair. Vince says that since they both are on the same page then they will be in a tag team match tonight. Ziggler asks Vince to save it because he can already imagine who their opponents will be. Christian and The Miz. Rhodes mockingly says that he never saw that coming. Vince tells Dolph that if he ever interrupts him again he will regret the day he ever signed up with the WWE. He says that their opponents tonight are the WWE Tag Team Champions Kane and CM Punk.

Commercial break

We are back and they hype the tag team main event with Cody Rhodes and Dolph Ziggler taking on Kane and CM Punk. Also tonight, Teddy Long will host the official contract signing between John Cena and Mason Ryan for their Last Man Standing match at No Way Out.

Curt Hawkins makes his way down to the ring along with Cameron and Naomi. Hawkins gets a mic and says that having a cheap no good buffoon like PSY at WrestleMania ruins everything. He says that he is going to provide the entertainment that night and not some Korean loud-mouth chump. He says that he can do the Gangnam Style dance way better than PSY. Alex Riley comes out to interrupt Hawkins.

Curt Hawkins vs Alex Riley

The bell rings as Cameron and Naomi give Hawkins a good luck kiss on each cheek. They lock up and Riley with a side head lock. Hawkins backs into the corner and the referee breaks them up but Hawkins gets a cheap shot on Riley. Hawkins with kicks to Riley and then he chokes him in the ropes. Riley goes for the Final Score but Hawkins elbows out and sends him shoulder first into the steel ring post in the corner. Hawkins hits the Taste of Pain for the win.

Winner: Curt Hawkins!

After the match, Hawkins dances in the ring with Cameron and Naomi. Hawkins tries to do the Gangnam Style dance but losses his balances and falls down. Brodus Clay rushes out to the ring and Hawkins quickly bails out. Riley however grabs Hawkins and sends him back into the ring. Brodus hits an overhead suplex on Hawkins and he goes for the splash off the ropes but Cameron and Naomi pull Hawkins out of the ring in time. Brodus taunts them by doing the Gangnam Style dance.

Backstage Matt Striker catches up with John Cena. Striker asks him about the Elimination Chamber match next week. Cena says that as long as Mason Ryan is competing in the match he is fine with it. He then says that tonight he will keep his cool or at least try to do so but next week in the Elimination Chamber he will destroy Mason Ryan and then at No Way Out he will smack him with a steel chair over and over and over again until Ryan will stay down for a 30 count.

We get a promo for No Way Out.

They hype Miz taking on Mason Ryan later on.

Tyson Kidd comes out accompanied by Evan Bourne for our next contest. Primo comes out with Kofi Kingston on his side as JR says that next week, Kidd and Bourne will face the winners of the Ruthless Barrage/Gabriel & Dibiase match on SmackDown to determine new #1 Contender for the WWE Tag Team Championship.

Phelps rips off what seems to be a mask on his face and it reveals to be the Miz! The Miz was Cole Phelps all this time. Bischoff and Rhodes are stunned. But Rhodes is still handcuffed and he's in the ring along with an angry Randy Orton who has come back to his feet. Orton drops Rhodes with a clothesline and unloads with right hands on his defenseless prey. Orton drops Cody out of the ring and clears the announce table. He puts Rhodes over the table, he grabs a steel chair and he unloads with chair shots to the back of Rhodes. Orton then hits an RKO into the table. The Miz then celebrates over Rhodes as we go to credits.

Beastly

Raw's go home episode for No Way Out kicks off with the Beast Brock Lesnar coming out along with his advocate, Paul Heyman. Lesnar and Heyman get in the ring as we get a replay from last week's Raw where The Rock delivered a Rock Bottom to Lesnar during the Cutting Edge.

- Paul Heyman -

"Ladies and gentlemen my name is Paul Heyman and I am the advocate to the Beast Incarnate, the Conqueror, the man that retired Triple H inside Hell in a Cell, Boooroooock...Leeeesnar! Last week, Brock Lesnar made a surprise appearance during the Cutting Edge and he was disrespected by the man they call "the Great One" Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. The Rock took a cheap shot on my client because apparently he STILL can't get over the fact that my client conquered him at SummerSlam ten years ago! He nailed the Beast with a Rock Bottom in an attempt to once again steal the spotlight for himself. And you know, in any other case my client would be coming after The Rock for revenge but...he doesn't really have to. He has already conquered the Rock, when the Rock was on his prime so for now, but ONLY for now, my client is going to let that slide."

"After all, there are still other matters that my client needs to attend to. A few weeks ago my client made it perfectly clear that his target come WrestleMania would be someone that has it coming. And it was revealed that, that someone would be one of the following three: The Celtic Warrior Sheamus...The Apex Predator Randy Orton...and your current WWE Champion John Cena. One of those three men is going to realize that the road to WrestleMania can sometimes be a very brutal, destructive path. So the question now is, which one of these fine gentlemen will be Brock Lesnar's next target? Well, I'm afraid that the answer to that question will not be answered tonight, it will be answered very soon however!"

"And let me make something perfectly clear, see my client and I don't like to give out fake hype. So those of you that are expecting my client to reveal his next target at this Sunday's No Way Out PPV...Well, RUMOR KILLER, he is not. Brock Lesnar will not be at this Sunday's No Way Out PPV. So don't get your hopes up people. Be patient, and in time Brock Lesnar's next victim will be revealed and the road to WrestleMania will get very...very interesting. Prepare yourselves for a venomous WrestleMania!"

The Great White Sheamus comes out now as the crowd cheers while Heyman is caught off guard. Sheamus walks down the ramp and gets into the ring before getting a microphone.

- Sheamus -

"Hello Brock...Paul...nice to be the both of you at last. See, you and I Brock have never met face to face before so allow me to introduce meself. Me name is Sheamus and I love to fight!"

Some "Finlay" chants begin.

"And I know, that you love to fight as well. So I say, why wait? If it's me you want to face, if your issues are with me then let's finish it right here, right now!"

Sheamus drops the mic and takes off his shirt as Heyman exits the ring. Lesnar gets closer to Sheamus and they go face to face now. They have an intense stand down until Lesnar smiles and pats Sheamus in the shoulder. Lesnar then turns and leaves the ring as the crowd boos. Heyman laughs at Sheamus as he walks up the ramp along with his client Brock Lesnar. Sheamus is shaking his head now.

Sheamus hits the ropes, and Ambrose follows with a knee to the midsection. Ambrose hits the ropes, and Sheamus hits him with a Brogue Kick out of nowhere! Sheamus hooks the leg and gets the win!

Winner: Sheamus!

After the match, Sheamus celebrates in the ring while JBL on commentary, praises Ambrose's performance. We get a few highlights from the match leading to the finish. Back live, Sheamus continues to celebrate as Cole wonders whether Sheamus will end up being Brock Lesnar's next target.

Just When You Think You Have The Answers..

The legendary Rowdy Roddy Piper makes his way down to the ring, which has been adorned like The Pit. The crowd in LA gives a standing ovation to the Hall of Famer as he enters the ring.

Roddy says that in LA we do things the old way and tonight, Raw goes Old School with the Piper's Pit! The Ruthless Barrage come out and Wade Barrett is the first to talk. He asks who gave the old man a microphone. Barrett says that Roddy should thank God that there was no Ruthless Barrage in his day because if there was then Piper never would have reached 100 years old.

Piper says that he was cool before the word "cool" was even introduced to this world but Barrett wouldn't know that because he is just a lame boring excuse for a garbage can. Roddy says that there is only one team that can carry on the legacy of the Rockers, the Road Warriors and the Dudley Boyz and it isn’t the Ruthless Barrage, it’s The Usos. Barrett starts to shake and he yells to Piper that he should tread lightly in this situation.

McIntyre now gets in the way to back Barrett off. McIntyre says that Piper’s problem must be jealousy. After all Piper never won the World title while both he and Barrett did it last year and it was just the beggining. McIntyre says that for 20 plus years Roddy Piper represented the Scottish culture but all he did was humiliate it. Now, Scotland finally earns the recognition that it deserves as a country because now it's represented by a REAL sinister Scotsman, Drew McIntyre!

Piper concedes that might be true, but there is something he knows. And that's that Drew McIntyre could never be a WWE Hall of Famer. He will never be remebered as a legend but as a prick that never managed to overcome the shadow of Roddy Piper!

Barrett tells McIntyre not to listen. McIntyre stares down Piper and says that he is going to break his old ass in half if he dares to disrespect him once more. The Ruthless Barrage looks to surround and attack Piper but the Usos run down to the ring and Barrett and McIntyre back off.

Piper says that finally his other guests have arrived and now business can finally pick up. He says that the Usos carry a weight on their shoulders that Barrett and McIntyre never really had to carry. That's the weight of their family and everything that their family has accomplished in the WWE. The legacy of such men as Yokozuna, The Rock and their Daddy Rikishi carries on through them and at No Way Out they finally have a shot to make their family proud. He recalls 1984 when he smashed a coconut on Jimmy Snuka's head. He then recalls having his own head smashed by a coconut, courtesy of Jey and Jimmy's old man Rikishi, ten years ago. Piper grabs a bag and pulls out a coconut, saying that tonight he wants to go old school and relieve this specific tradition. He asks the Usos who would they pick to get smahed by a coconut: Barrett or McIntyre?

He then says that it's his show after all so he should be making this decision. Piper then turns and smahes the coconut in the head of Jey Uso! Jimmy is stunned and then he gets a Bull Hammer elbow by Barrett! McIntyre then pulls Jey up and drops him with a Future Shock DDT. Piper is now once again surrounded by the Ruthless Barrage and he now announces them as the most dominant tag team of all time! Piper then raises their hands as Barrett and McIntyre also hold up their tag team titles. Piper, Barrett and McIntyre stand tall as the Usos are left broken in the mat.

A Perfect Challenge

Curtis Axel makes his way down to the ring as the advertised main event for tonight is John Cena, CM Punk and Kane taking on Big Show, Mason Ryan & Alberto Del Rio.

Axel cuts a promo to talk about how his friend Mason Ryan is going to become WWE Champion at No Way Out. Axel says that Ryan posseses the aggression of John Cena, the power of the Big Show, the speed of Alberto Del Rio and the charisma of CM Punk all together. He adds that Ryan is a far more intimidating monster than Kane. Axel says that tonight his friend is busy dealing with his opponents so for tonight he is on his own. He says that he is the son of Mr. Perfect but he is better than perfect. He makes an open challenge to anyone that dares to step in the ring with him and his perfection.

The challenge is soon answered by WWE's Apex Predator Randy Orton and the crowd in LA goes wild! Orton walks down to the ring as Axel looks to be having second thoughts about this.

Orton then kicks and stomps Axel's face. Orton soaks in the cheers from the crowd before going for a knee drop that Axel avoids. Axel hits a spinning neckbreaker for a nearfall. Orton gets out of the ring to recover.

Axel goes outside and Orton attempts to put him into the barricade but Axel blocks it. Axel bounces him off the barricade and the apron before rolling him into the ring. Axel gets enraged when the crowd chants that he sucks. Orton throws him to the apron and goes for a suspended DDT but Axel gets out, snaps him off the top rope and hits a cross body off the top for a nearfall. Dolph Ziggler, the World Heavyweight Champion, makes his way to the stage to observe the match as we will take a break.

Commercial Break

We come back from the break to see Orton punching away at Axel as Ziggler has taken a seat at ringside. Axel reverses a whip to the ropes and catches him with a dropkick for a nearfall. Axel goes to the top rope again and this time he jumps into a dropkick in mid-air!

Orton gets a crazy look on his face and the crowd is really into it. Axel charges into a boot and Orton clotheslines him down a few times. Orton hits a scoop slam and he gets the crowd into it. Orton hits a suspended DDT on him and stares at Ziggler before dropping down for an RKO. Axel slowly gets up and Orton drops him with an RKO for the decisive victory!

Winner: Randy Orton!

After the match, Dolph Ziggler gets in the ring and holds up the World title. These two will meet this Thursday night on SmackDown to determine who will be the last man to enter the World Heavyweight Championship Elimination Chamber match this Sunday.

Suddenly, Brock Lesnar's music hits and out comes the Beast again along with his advocate Paul Heyman. Lesnar gets in the ring as Orton and Ziggler stand side by side ready to fight. Lesnar just stares at them. Ziggler then gets in Brock's face and holds up the World title. Lesnar smiles at him but then he scoops him up and levels the World Champion with an F-5! Lesnar gets face to face with Orton now and the crowd erupts! Orton gets set to fight but Lesnar pats him on the shoulder and then rolls out of the ring. Orton is a bit confused as Lesnar heads to the back with Heyman following him while taunting Orton.

Eve then hits the Heartbreaker on Kaitlyn as Cameron pulls AJ out of the ring and Eve gets the pinfall!

Winners: Eve & Cameron!

After the match, Eve rolls out of the ring and celebrates with Cameron. AJ gets back in the ring looking mad. AJ looks on as Eve celebrates and taunts her from the ramp. AJ helps up Kaitlyn and says she is sorry. AJ then drops Kaitlyn with a DDT!

AJ dumps Kaitlyn to the outside and she sends Kaitlyn crashing to the barricade. AJ then whips Kaitlyn face first into the steel ring post! AJ mounts Kaitlyn - who is bleeding from the nose - and pounds her head against the floor until a handful of referees finally restrain her. Teddy Long and Stephanie McMahon are also out here for this. Teddy Long calls out some more officials to escort AJ to the back. AJ starts screaming as they drag her to the back but then she laughs - Harley Quinn style. Stephanie checks on Kaitlyn and calls for a doctor.

He says that he and Curt go way back as they practically started their careers in the WWE together. He says that tonight it's finally the time to see who the better Edgehead is!

Curt Hawkins appears on the titantron and says that it's good to see Zack again. He says that they used to be tag team partners, friends...Edgeheads. But that was a long time ago. The Dead is Watching

Renee Young is in the ring and she introduces one of WCW's and WWE's biggest stars, the legendary Big Daddy Cool Diesel aka Kevin Nash!

Kevin Nash comes out to a nice pop from the crowd in LA. Nash notices that WWE get hotter and hotter every passing year as he checks out Renee. Nash says that Bill Goldberg was always a dominant competitor back in WCW. He and Goldberg always had a beef against each other on a professional level. They were always destined to lock horns at some point and when it happened, he ended Goldberg's amazing undefeated streak at Starcade in 1998. Nash says that no one will ever be able to achieve such a streak as Goldberg's. Goldberg will forever be known as the man with the longest winning streak but Kevin Nash will always be remembered as the man that ended it.

Nash then talks about facing the Undertaker at WrestleMania. He acknowledges his history with the Undertaker and that he once failed to break the streak and that's because at WrestleMania, the Undertaker becomes ten times more powerful and ten times tougher. He says that Goldberg will fail at WrestleMania just like evry other soul before him did. But before that, Goldberg will have a Starcade recap when he gets his ss handed to him by Big Daddy Cool Diesel...Again!

Goldberg's music hits and the self proclaimed "Phenom of WCW" comes out as Nash gets ready to fight. Goldberg enters the ring and takes off his jacket. The two giants go at it as Renee gets out of the ring. Goldberg gets Nash in the corner and unloads with knees to the gut followed by a big clothesline. Goldberg backs up and sets up a Spear but...

GONG!

The Undertaker's gong hits and the lights go off. A cryptic vignette appears on the screen showing a Casket opening on its own and a hand coming out of it only for it to be pulled back in and the casket to close shut.

The lights turn on again and Goldberg is clearly distracted as Nash has recovered. Goldberg turns into a kick to the gut by Nash and Big Daddy Cool Diesel connects with a Jack-Knife powerbomb on Goldberg! Nash now stands tall over Goldberg and raises his arm as his music hits.

Back in the ring, Cena stalks Big Show, perhaps setting up an AA but suddenly...

Brock Lesnar's music hits and the Beast comes out for the third time tonight, along with his advocate Paul Heyman! Lesnar walks towards the ring, gettign Cena's attention. Lesnar looks at Cena and he smiles before he turns and leaves. Cena is confused but then he turns into a Knockout Punch by the Big Show! Big Show gets the pinfall over Cena!

Winners: Alberto Del Rio, Big Show & Mason Ryan!

After the match, Big Show celebrates in the ring as we get highlights from the match leading to the finish. Back live, Big Show grabs the WWE Title and stands tall over Cena but Ryan gets in and takes the title from Big Show. They push each other until Kane comes in. Big Show and Kane deliver a double Chokeslam to Ryan! Both Kane and Show go to pick up the title and now they grab each other by the throat. Del Rio sneaks in and steals the title from both of them. Del Rio rolls out of the ring taunting them but then he turns into a GTS by CM Punk! Punk holds up the WWE Title as Big Show, Kane and Cena look on from the ring.

Something Special

We come back from our final break as the ring is dressed with a black carpet and a conference table in the center. Valiant Cody Rhodes is out with two Security Guards. Two chairs are setup in the ring as Rhodes takes a seat. Teddy Long will oversee the contract signing.

Rhodes says they can boo him all they want, but it doesn't change the fact that he played Daniel Bryan into giving him what he wanted and thus after No Way Out he will be on the main event of WrestleMania 29. Rhodes talks about how he eliminated ten people in the same Royal Rumble match but Bryan ruined his shot to break Kane's record. Rhodes asks the crowd to enjoy Bryan's positive chants tonight because after No Way Out, the look on the face of the man that WON'T be headlining WrestleMania, will be priceless!

Daniel Bryan is out next to a HUGE ovation from the crowd in LA. Bryan leads a "YES" chant on his way down to the ring. He talks about how Rhodes got his stipulation for their match at No Way Out and now he gets one as well. Rhodes says he never agreed to allow Bryan to pick a stipulation but then he says that it's too late for arguments so he suggests clearing out the ring and having a fight so the news can be delivered over the other. Bryan says he likes complicated things because he's done that his entire WWE career. Rhodes adds that this is what power looks like and this is how you wield that power, but Bryan just CAN'T have that sort of power because he will be squashed by it.

Bryan says that's cute and then he announces that at No Way Out, his stipulation is to add a Special Guest Referee to their match! Someone who will call it down the middle and someone who TOTALLY doesn't have a beef with either of them.

Rhodes is not happy with this announcement. He asks Bryan if he thinks that scares him and says that Bryan will just be his first victim on his Valiant Road to WrestleMania. Rhodes says that he will not sign the contract until the Special Guest Referee is revealed to him.

Bryan says he doubts that and he turns over the chair Rhodes is in and attacks him. Bryan jumps on Rhodes and drops rights but the Security pulls him back. Bryan tosses them both out of the ring as Teddy Long backs off. Bryan gets Rhodes into the Yes Lock! Bryan breaks it up to pull the contract near Cody's hand before forcing Rhodes to grab the pen. Bryan locks in the Yes Lock again and yells at Rhodes to sign it. Eventually, Rhodes is forced to sign the contract. Bryan let's go as the security guards get back in. Bryan takes them both out with a double dropkick as Rhodes rolls out of the ring. Rhodes runs up the ramp as Bryan signs the contract.

Bryan then asks Cody to not leave just yet because he is about to meet the special guest referee for their match at No Way Out...

Mick Foley comes out and he catches up with Rhodes on the ramp! Foley punches away at Rhodes before sending him into the ring where Rhodes is greeted by a running knee to the face from Bryan! Foley gets in the ring and rips off his t-shirt to reveal a referee shirt underneath! Bryan pins Rhodes and Foley makes the three count as the crowd explodes! Bryan's music hits as Daniel Bryan and Mick Foley celebrate in the ring. Rhodes rolls out of the ring and regroups in the barricade as he looks on. Daniel Bryan and Mick Foley start a massive "YES" chant in the ring as the final Raw before No Way Out goes off...
