Friday Night Crush Results | February 17, 2012
Dustin Shore opens up the show, coming to the ring with a microphone and his ECCW World Championship belt slung over his shoulder. The crowd cheers for the champion as he enters the ring and begins to talk about the challenge that awaits him this Sunday at Heavy Metal. He says that he was twice entered the elimination chamber and twice failed to win it. Referencing the common phrase "third time's a charm," he says that he has also never entered Slam-Mania as a champion before, but has managed to leave it with victories. He says that this year will be different for him; he will enter Slam-Mania as ECCW World Champion and will do that by defeating five other men in the chamber. He is cut off by Peter Linch, who comes out with his Money in the Bank briefcase. Linch tells Shore that he has nothing to lose in the match because he still has a briefcase regardless. He says Shore shouldn't get too comfortable because Linch is a serious threat to whoever the champion is, reminding him that he will always be there to pick up the pieces once Shore is down. A third man, Will Williams comes out and tells the two to cut out the nonsense and just admit that he will leave Heavy Metal as a dual champion. He doesn't get very long into his tirade before John Leopold interrupts. Leopold claims that he will be the one winning the match and that there is nothing anybody can do to stop his destiny from being achieved once again. This prompts Jarrett Calloway to come out, joining the other four in the ring and adding to the chaos. Calloway says that out of everyone in the ring, he has beaten some and lost some. He says that he is confident however that he will regain what is rightfully his come Sunday. He says that he never got a one on one rematch for the title he lost last month, but claims the elimination chamber match will suffice because he isn't a coward like Harry Jones. The very mention of Jones seems to bring Jones out next. He goes about the usual routine of trash talking Calloway, but that's not all. He explains that aside from Calloway, the other four men are jokes as well. He says that Williams' abilities will never compare to his own; that Leopold is an overrated excuse for a superstar; that Linch shouldn't even have that briefcase because he isn't deserving enough; and that Shore is a weak champion to have headlining an event like Slam-Mania. After his speech, Matthew Jericho comes out onto the stage, cutting off whoever planned to speak next. He says that he is very excited to see the talking come to an end on Sunday and see who will truly leave as champion. Matthew claims he is so enthused to see the six go at it that they will do just that; fight in tonight's main event, in a six pack challenge match for an early advantage.

Christopher Styles defeated Christian Storm by pinfall.

Adam Jones enters Matthew Jericho's office and sees that he is not in there. Stephen Jericho comes to the door instead, asking Jones what he wants. Jones looks at Jericho and asks him why he isn't booked in a match. He says that Crush cannot afford to go on without an Adam Jones match. Jericho stops him and says that there is no need to continue. He says that he will put him in a match for tonight. Jericho introduces a tag team match, Jones and a partner against the champions Kevin Evans and Alex Nova. Jones demands to know who his partner is, when Jericho replies with a smile, "Michael Ausberry." Jones looks furious that he has to team with his Heavy Metal opponent, but Jericho reminds him that he asked for it. Jones storms out of the office, but Jericho calls out to him, "Don't go too far! Your match is next!"
Kevin Evans and Alex Nova defeated Adam Jones and Michael Ausberry by pinfall (Nova over Jones).

John Leopold is given more time to speak as he is backstage with an interviewer, who asks him why he believes he will win the ECCW World Championship at Heavy Metal. Leopold says that it is simple. He claims that he has been training hard and looking forward to such an opportunity ever since his return a month ago. He says that he missed being in the ECCW spotlight in his time away from wrestling and was dying to return to that position. He said that he is ready to start the journey back to his position at the top and that the journey has all but just begun.
Oliver Walker defeated Mark Mayhem (w/ Max Mayhem) by pinfall.

The ring announcer begins announcing the main event, as the first man to come to the ring is Harry Jones, who is carrying a microphone, which is not a surprise to anyone. Jones reminds the crowd of when he said that his ultimate goal is to end Jarrett Calloway, with a secondhand goal being to win the ECCW World Championship. He says that the beauty of Sunday's elimination chamber match is that he gets the chance to do both. He promises the fans that their beloved Jarrett Calloway will be no more once he is through with him at Heavy Metal. He also promises that he will leave the show as ECCW World Champion.
John Leopold defeated Dustin Shore, Jarrett Calloway, Harry Jones, Will Williams, and Peter Linch by pinfall (over Linch).
After the match, Leopold celebrates yet another big win for him, as he will now enter the elimination chamber on Sunday with all the momentum in the world. He seems to be on top of the world, that is until he is blindsided by Will Williams, who initiates a brutal assault. Williams finishes Leopold with the Dream Crusher. Not liking what he sees, Shore steps in and slips Williams into the Shore Leave. Calloway goes to congratulate Shore, who accepts the offer, but is stunned when Calloway surprises him with the Run Down. Calloway thinks he is the last man standing until he turns around into an HKO by Harry Jones who stands tall over the five to end the show.

Alex Nova walks out to a rather big pop from the crowd after his victory last night on Friday night Crush. His victory came over Adam and Ausburry, and what a surprise it was they got the win. Nova does not know what to expect come pay-per-view time, but one things for sure, he's going to do whatever it is he can to keep those titles. He walks out to his theme with the lights dimmed down to red and white flashing simultaneously, and the crowd getting fired up. His back is facing the crowd with a bright white t-shirt on and blue jeans with a pair of high tops. The spot-light shines down on his and he extends his arms and the red pyro ignites and the fans go crazy. This is Nova's signature entrance, and the fans sure do enjoy it. He turns around ,not in ring attire as you know. He high fives a couple of fans while holding his tag-title belt of his right shoulder. He then proceeds up the steps and into the ring. The guy on the outside tosses him a mic and he nods as his theme finishes off, and dies down to fans cheering and Nova has to wait a while until they finally dies down.
Well the pay-per-view is not far away. And you know what? For once in my life, I'm nervous. I'm nervous of the fact that soon, after this pay-per-view I could be heading into my first Slam-Mania. But let me tell you this; I'm not that nervous, that I'll fuck up. Because I'm going to have my own Slam-Mania moment. And I'll share it with the rest of you. Since it is my first I will make your moneys worth that night. I will do something, anything to get you to your feet, to tweet about it, to Facebook it, whatever the hell it is you guys wanna do, do it. Nobody is going to stop you. Now let's get down to some things here. Last night, on a rather special edition of Crush, I teamed up with my tag-team partner Kevin Evans, to take on two guys we knew nothing about. We didn't know how they fought, how they acted how they looked, hell we didn't even know their names. But we went out and gave them exactly what we should've. hat's our mission, to deliberate any challengers who come our way. We are the tag-team champions for a reason, and that reason is simply because we are the best. The best tag-team to ever set foot in an ECCW ring, and don't get me wrong.. there's some serious talent in the back but we are always one step ahead. Ausburry and Adam, they gave us a surprise, and it wasn't in their favor either. They are opponents at the View, and I don't blame them for not wanting to team up. But I see big things in those kids careers and nobody can say otherwise.

Alright so at Heavy Metal, me and Kevin face a big test of our team work. We go up against, Matt Brookes, and Deacon Carmine. Now I've heard of Carmine, a little bit.. and I have never heard how Matt wrestles, but his name rings a bell. These two are going to be tough, because I don't know anything about them, but I'm sure Kevin does. And I'll pick up on that information as the match progresses. So it's no big deal. They've held gold before I'm guessing, just about everyone on the roster has. But it sure will be an exciting match, and you don't want to miss it. Now another reason I'm out here tonight, is for two more things. I want to give a shout out to my boy Evander Rayne, he had a hell of a time on DOOM, and is now released from his cage, and the first victim, is Azazel. Once Evander has his focus set on one thing, he will go out at NO quit at all, and tear it to bits like an angry Hound. He is a 400 plus pound machine I bought from NAWA myself, and will now unleash hell here on ECCW. He may look like a cute little teddy bear, but he's ferocious. Azazel fails to realize, what is on the line when you go into a three stages of hell with Rayne. First, there's the pain, the anguish, the torment.. then second comes the non-stop suffering and bleeding and lack of sense... and finally he puts you down like a man does with his dog out in the country, the final toppings, the cream on the cake. He will demolish you, and all your little fantasies about bringing ECCW's roster to an end like CWW. but here's a little something to remember. ECCW is the corner stone of wrestling. You want to end it by yourself? Well that's easier said then done Azazel. Good luck, ha, you'll need it. So the last thing, I want to mention while I'm out here.. is the warfare. I've constantly been traveling from EFNW, to ECCW, and one is just slightly a bit ahead of the other in terms in my head. One gives me wha I want, matches, and I feel comfortable there. The other not so much. Even though I hold titles on both companies, it's getting to that point where you have to choose sides. And it will come, soon enough.
Alex looks into the camera before his theme hits again and he walks up to the top rope and holds his title in the air for the fans and hops off. He then makes his way out of the ring, rolling out then onto the ramp.. there he gives a few fans high fives before heading to the back.

In an epic turn of events, Riff's left arm makes a last minute effort and pins the right arm! Riff's arms begin to shake and he suddenly turns into SURGE! No wait, he's still Riff! But for some reason, he holds a Surge mask! What is he doing! He walks over to Harry and places the mask on Harry! He stands there as the championship continues ticking, watching Harry/Surge burn!
"Alright, I think I should save this now."
Riff takes a fire extinguisher and sprays Harry/Surge, who still does not flinch. He then proceeds to rip the belt off of Harry and jump out the window with it.
