[The fans begin to boo Linch as he is obviously insulting EFNW and their superstars.]

“Don’t take this the wrong way but let’s be honest, there is a reason why ECCW has been voted the best Company there is whereas EFNW has fallen through more times than I can remember. That is just one example of why ECCW is much better than EFNW and why, come Powerplay, EFNW will once again fail to beat us. There is nobody on EFNW whom I can’t beat and who I haven’t already proved myself against because, let’s be honest, you can beat one guy in EFNW and then you have beat them all. Don’t get it? They are all the same you idiots!”

[Linch laughs as the fans begin to chant for EFNW. He leans on the ropes and stares at the fans as the tension grows.]

“Prime example of idiot’s right there in the crowd! Anyway, I didn’t come out here to get cheap heat and then leave again. I came here to issue a challenge. A challenge which you would be wise to avoid but I know that one idiot will accept it and give me the chance to show off my skills at Powerplay. There is one guy in particular who I would love to face on December 11th but I’ve got the feeling from past experience that he will let me down and shy away from my challenge. I hope you’re listening Twista XL because this next message is aimed directly at you!”

[There is an overwhelming amount of cheers at the mention of Twista XL. Linch shakes his head as the fans chant his name.]

“Twista me and you have only met once before and I was never given the chance to face you. I want to change that because I want it to be you who I embarrass on the night where EFNW dies. I don’t want some nobody like Nova or some idiot like Kevin Evans; I want you Twista. You, the one man who I despise more than anyone else. It has to be you.

[Linch stops pacing and stands at the ropes, staring up at the stage.]

“If you are really the man you say you are then you will get your ass out here right now and accept my god damn challenge. If not, then you prove to the entire world that what we have all said about EFNW is true; it is a shit-hole full of cowards. Come on then Twista, get your ass out here and prove me wrong!”

[Linch continues to lean on the ropes, anticipating the entrance of Twista XL.]

[The fans stand in confusion as an unknown man steps out onto the ramp rotating a microphone in his hands. To make matters more confusing, this man is white. A few EFNW fans start to cheer, but the crowd starts to boo loudly when the titantron reveals that there is an EFNW microphone in his hand. He raises it to his lips and begins speaking over the boos.]

"So, you're the guy who can climb a ladder eh? Nice to meet you, it's strange, usually when I insult someone who's standing in the ring, they're a wrestler. Not an entertainer. Oh, how rude of me, I almost forgot to introduce myself. My name is Marcelo.... Marcelo Evans. The nephew of none other than Daniel Evans."

[The fans stand in shock. A relative of ECCW tag team legend Daniel Evans is an EFNW wrestler? Oh the humanity! The injustice! Oh wait, he's talking some more!]

"Alot of you might be wondering why I haven't signed an ECCW contract yet, and my answer to that was, I did. Never did anything, wasn't given much of a chance. And honestly, that pissed me off. So I went off, worked hard on the independent circuit, won a tournament, and paid my dues until a man approached me. A man who said he could make all my dreams come true, a man who said he could make Jericho wonder how he screwed up with me, a man who actually knows a thing or two about the wrestling business. That man? Harry Jones. He said that he had to check with his father, but he could almost guarantee that I'd be back in mainstream wrestling in no time. And so I was. So I'm a major player in EFNW, while you look like a homosexual public defender with your eight dollar suit and briefcase."

[The fans boo as Evans insults their beloved Peter Linch, and he looks pretty fed up with them.]

"Oh just shut the fuck up!"

[The fans go silent as one of the seven dirty words you can't say on TV or Radio escapes the lips of this hated outsider. Evans looks pleased as he begins talking again.]

"What's wrong? You ECCW superstars don't need to cuss to get fired up? Well I do. So fuck you Peter Linch. And fuck all of you in audience to. Get a YouTube account, look up an EFNW match and learn about wrestling for fuck's sake. Seriously, nobody does anything worth talking about in ECCW! The only reason anyone wants to work here is because they get a bigger check than if they wrestle for a real promotion! And you think because Jericho sees something in you you're automatically all that and a bag of chips? Trying to jump to the front of the line and challenge Twista XL when you've never even done anything worthwhile? In EFNW, you'd be laughed out of the arena. My lord, Matty and Stevie are really paying you enough where after taking care of your child support and all your 'fancy ass' clothes, you can still afford to get your hands on enough drugs to make you deluded enough to think that's going to fly? Ain't gonna happen. The only reason I'm even wasting my time on you is because Twista XL has to focus on Cyrus Black so he doesn't try to ruin EFNW again. So what do you say? You want an opponent for PowerPlay or not? Because Twista doesn't give shots to anyone unless they've earned it.

[Evans mocks Linch by leaning against the ropes, awaiting an answer.]

OOC: Attack if you like, doesn't matter one way or another to me.

[Linch tries not to laugh as he watches Evans. He takes a step towards him and looks like he is going to attack him but instead begins to speak.]

"Are you serious Evans? Do you really think that you can beat me? May I remind you that I have only been with ECCW for a matter of months and already I have accomplished more than anyone thought could be possible. I did not accomplish this through kissing ass and doing as I was told; I accomplished this through sheer talent and ability so if you think that you can push me around and easily beat me at PowerPlay then you are sadly mistaken. If you want a fight then you've got a fight but the outcome won't be what you think it will be."

[Linch closes in, now face to face with Evans.]

"Come PowerPlay I am going to show you and the rest of the world why I am a future ECCW World Champion in the making and I am going to prove once and for all that ECCW has a hell of a lot more talent than EFNW. Don't like that? I've got two words for you. Fuck off."

[Linch hits Evans with a stiff right and Evans instantly falls to the ground. Linch goes to continue the attack but Evans smartly rolls to the outside. Linch leans over the ropes, shouting at Evans.]

[As Evans locks eyes with Linch from outside the ring, his scowl suddenly turns into a smirk, and he arrogantly flips Linch the bird. Evans then begins shouting, as he dropped his microphone.]

"See you at PowerPlay bitch! Better hope you've got medical supplies in that briefcase!"

[As Evans walks towards the backstage area, ECCW security is happy to meet him. Evans throws his hands up to signify that he's surrendering to them, although he's rather coy about it. As he's escorted out, the fans buzz about a great new matchup on the PowerPlay card.]

First of all, I'd like to thank everybody for making such a phenomenal build up for Powerplay. Don't work too hard to make it onto the card now, I don't want anymore matches added. Your efforts are what makes ECCW great. I expect this show will be one of the best ECCW (and the internet) has ever witnessed.

Secondly, sign ups for Doom have started. So how about posting up some apps?

[The Crush theme "Cross the Line" booms through the arena as a very familiar face appears on the stage; the co-founder of ECCW, Matthew Jericho. This is the first time in quite some time that Matthew Jericho is going to address something in the ring. He makes his way down the ramp and into the ring with a serious and determined look on his face. The audience gets quiet quickly, out of anticipation for what he has to say. He looks around and smiles before putting the microphone up to his lips to begin speaking.]

MATTHEW JERICHO:
"It's been a while since I've come out here to talk to you guys, hasn't it?"

[There is an almost instant crowd reaction, as they cheer him on before he even gets started.]

"I just figured, what better time than to do it? There's a lot that needs to be addressed and I'll try my best to address it all right here, right now. Things have really been heating up as of late with this whole ECCW versus EFNW debacle. I'm going to give you a little backstory here, folks. You hear a lot about the wrestling world and all of the backstage goings on these days. With the internet, dirt sheets are booming with information, many of it that's false. A lot of these so called smarks like to think that they know something about the industry. But in reality, they know nothing at all. I don't care what insider source you have, I don't care how spot on you think you are, but ECCW is not 'fake.' You see, there seems to be this growing feeling that wrestling is all around phony. But I guarantee you all that it's far from it, at least in ECCW. If fake is what you're looking for, try EFNW; which brings me to my next point. A long while ago, I was having a conversation with Travis Jones. It was just a simple talk. We had been remembering all of the great moments of wrestling, talking about the impacts all of the legendary moments made. And that's when we started to discuss a certain 'war' that happened about a decade ago. And that's when Travis and I wondered what it would be like if those companies were ECCW and EFNW instead. But that was the end of it. Just wonder, nothing more. But here we are in 2011, where a few ECCW superstars happened to take shots at EFNW superstars and EFNW superstars happened to take shots at ECCW superstars. And that is when I stepped in and tried to break things up. I felt that these conflicting ideas would not fare well for either promotion, so I tried to nip it in the bud before it became a problem. But this problem could not be stopped. Why you ask? Because I now realize that the problem isn't bickering between two different brands of athletes with conflicting ideals. I now realize that the problem is EFNW itself!"

[The devoted ECCW fans in attendance seem to be loving the EFNW-aimed insults.]

"EFNW is a cancer to the professional wrestling industry. This 'war' cannot be stopped until the real problem is taken care of. And that real problem just so happens to be EFNW. You see, everything is infected until you're able to do away with the cause of the problem. And therefore I intend to do just that! I intend to kill EFNW! I want to kill this cancer! I want to show the world that ECCW is the greatest company to ever be created! I want to show every single professional wrestling fan out there that EFNW is absolute garbage! Some of you think I'm only helping EFNW by mentioning them constantly on ECCW television and that maybe the case in the short run, but I'm looking at the long run! And what I see in the long run is no more EFNW! No more Harry Jones, no more Travis Jones, no more nothing!"

[Matthew's demeanor seems to have changed a bit, as he looks like he is growing more and more intense, standing on the line between anger and hatred.]

"How am I going to do it? I'll tell you how! At Powerplay on December 11th, 2011, I will see to it that ECCW dominates EFNW in every match possible! I will see to it that ECCW comes out on top just as it always has! And once it's all said and done, and once Jarrett Calloway has laid Harry Jones out on the mat for the three count, my next order of business will be to fly right on over to Perth, Australia, barge right into EFNW headquarters, and buy out EFNW!"

[The fans are shocked at first, but the cheers for Matthew become overwhelming in time.]

"That's right! I'll buy the entire company and every name, talent, logo, and building it owns! And once that day comes, we'll no longer have to worry about watching crappy wrestling. Let's face the facts! EFNW has made less of an impact in it's time than that other show on Thursday nights. It's time for a new start! A breath of fresh air in the wrestling world! And that starts as soon as we kill the cancer! EFNW, be on the look out! Harry, Travis, I hope you've enjoyed your reigns at the top, because come Powerplay, it's all over!"

[The fans cheer Matthew all the way to the back as he walks back up the ramp, looking even more determined than before, also appearing a little shaken after all of the emotion he put into his promo.]

The crowd does not die down even a tad bit as Malcolm makes his way around the ring snatching up a microphone from the ring announcer and sliding into the ring. Malcolm stands in the center of the boos as he lets out a cocky grin and snicker combination raising the microphone up to his lips letting out a sigh into the microphone echoing throughout the arena.<<<

Malcolm Gibson --- Ahh shut up all of you all I have heard out of all of you haters for months is boo this and boo that and it is about damn time that I put a end to all of that right here and right now! All I have heard these past few weeks is Malcolm Gibson has lost his game and now he is at the bottom and that there is no way that he will be able to win DOOM! Well let me be the first person to burst your bubbles and say that you are all crazy and that is a fact! Do I look like that I am at the bottom of the game? Do you see any of theme other wannabes coming out here to prove a lesson? I think not! I am at the top of my game and if I even fell a little bit I just tripled what I had before and now this show is going back into the Era of Malcolm Gibson as the ruler! I hope everyone got there cracks and jokes at me over with because now it is back all about me and me making the jokes about all of you stupid haters that just wish you could be half of the man that I am! I get girls, I get gold, and I get the money I am the thing that every guy in the world wish they were and that is greatness!
