As the familiar music blares through the speakers, the fans begin to boo. However, there is a small cheer let out as Ricardo Rodriguez walks out onto the stage wearing a suit. He looks around with a sly grin on his face before proceeding down the ramp. He slowly walks up the steps before wiping his feet on the apron and stepping in through the middle rope. He walks over to the far side of the ring and is handed a mic before he stands in the centre of the ring, looking out at all of the fans.

“Para todos aquellos que no me conocen, mi nombre es Ricardo Rodriguez.”

Ricardo lets out a slight laugh as the fans chant “WHAT”.

“Más temprano el día de hoy he firmado un contrato con la WWE y ahora luchará en la marca Smackdown.”

The fans once again chant “WHAT” and this time Ricardo turns to them angrily.

“¡Cállate! Yo soy Ricardo Rodríguez y será respetado!”

The fans once again chant “WHAT” but this time, instead of getting angry, Ricardo bursts out laughing.

“Who am I kidding; of course I can speak English! For those of you that don’t know me, my name is Ricardo Rodriguez and, earlier on today, I a signed a contract with the WWE which will see me wrestle on the Smackdown brand. I know a lot of you may be sitting there laughing and thinking what idiot would sign me but let me assure you, I can wrestle. I may be known in the past for being nothing but a Ring Announcer but I have talent and I am willing to do whatever it takes to prove that.”

Ricardo smiles to the fans as they chant his name.

“For so long I have been stuck in the shadows, not being given the chance to shine. Trust me, being stuck doing nothing gives you a lot of time to build up to that big moment when you finally get your chance. This moment will come on Friday when I make my debut with the WWE. I don’t care who I face or what type of match it is I want to fight on Friday.”

Ricardo looks up at the stage as he thinks about what to say next.

“He esperado el tiempo suficiente y mi tiempo es ahora! I have waited long enough and my time is now! No more Alberto Del Rio, no more Ring Announcing and definitely no more toro mierda.”

The fans in the crowd who understand him cheer as he laughs.

“En palabras de Booker T, yo voy por ti negro. Now I don’t want some surprise on Friday, I want to be prepared for my fight. I am issuing an Open Challenge to anyone in the back who wants to face me on Friday. No me importa quién es porque estoy listo para una pelea! It is time to be out with the old and in with the new; the new obviously being me. So come on, who wants to face me on Friday? Es mejor que date prisa y consigue tu culo aquí! I’m waiting.”

Ricardo walks over to the ropes and leans on them as he awaits a Challenger.

Christian is walking around the arena, smirking at his own skills.

Internet Champion Zack Ryder is in his lr, going over plans for RAW.

Shane McMahon is in his office.
