ECCW: Extreme Created Championship Wrestling 18.0

As “Smack Down” blares over the P.A. system, a young man with long brown hair steps onto the ramp. He is dressed in a pair of blue jeans and an unbuttoned pinstripe suit jacket, and he looks extremely smug as he starts to walk towards the ring. A young fan tries to high five him, but he simply messes up the kid’s hair and says something that obviously offends the child’s father, who starts to cuss at the unknown wrestler. The young man just laughs it off as he steps into the ring and is brought a microphone by the ring girl. The lights darken and a lone spotlight falls on him as he begins to talk.

“Some of you may be wondering who I am. My name is Magnus Matvey, but many are known to call me ‘The Marvel.’ Recently, I met with the man known as Randall Westbrooks who runs the Terror brand, and I made him an offer he couldn’t refuse. I offered him the talents of a rising star who would help his show’s ratings jump somewhere in the area of three ratings points and I offered him protection from the scum that contaminates most of ECCW. So what does Westbrooks do for me? He signs me to a rather significant multi-year contract and gives me a Main Event tier opponent for my first match. He gives me an opportunity to take out the man known as Azazel. That’s right; a man who has held multiple World Championships is going to have his career ended on Monday night. He’s going to fall at the feet of a man who most of you probably feel has never done anything, a man who is going to shock you all with his extreme amount of talent. And after I hit Azazel with the dreaded Rebecca Black Driver, none of you will be able to doubt my abilities, and I’ll jump to the front of the line for a World Title opportunity. Without a doubt, I am the hottest thing to come to ECCW, and I plan on getting to the top before I’m even old enough to drink. Of course, anybody who thinks otherwise is welcome to come down to the ring and prove me wrong.”

Matvey drops the microphone and stares at the entrance ramp, waiting for an unfortunate soul to make the mistake of issuing a challenge to him.

OOC: Short, simple, and to the point. I didn't want to have Matvey go on for too long, I'll make sure to cut a much better promo after his match with Azazel.

{“The Life Of The Party” Ricky Lackett walks out onto the stage, dressed in a flashy looking Gray and Blackish suit with The Doom World Championship on his shoulder, grinning from ear to ear while the crowd both cheers and boos for him, Ricky makes his way down ramp, slapping hands with some of the fans before walking over to the steel steps and climbing up them onto the apron, he then steps into the ring through the middle rope and walks over to the Ring Announcer and asks for his Mic, which is handed to him by the latter, the former then proceeds to stand in the middle of the ring, looking out at the crowd, who are still both booing and cheering for him}

In the years before I joined ECCW’s rookie program, Doom. I was wasting my life away at clubs, parties, bars, you name it by doing everyday things like drinking, partying and hooking up with hot chicks... I was very fortunate to have the cash that I got from my father because I most certainly wasn’t earning a wage since all I was doing was spending as much as I could but there came a time in my world, when things turned sour because my dad unfortunately went bankrupt leaving me to join the one thing that I loved just as much as my night life lifestyle... Wrestling, so of course, it felt great when I won The Doom World Championship, but the thing is, I have come here looking for a real challenge in the sport that I grew up watching as a child and that I have idolised since the age of five, which was put aside for a life of Booze and one night and sadly I ain’t finding that to be the case with my fellow wrestlers of Doom because the requirements that I am keeping an eye out for has got to be that ‘extra something’ in someone that can test me as a pro wrestler and lead me into further greatness and a lot more gold and so far, there is only to two people that I see that fit it perfectly and that’s your Terror World Champion, Harry Jones and your Crush World Champion, John Leopold... You see, along with me, they are your world champions, but seeing as how Leopold is mentoring Kevin Silver and their kind of like butt buddies and since I don’t want to get stuck in between their close relationship, I’ve decided that Harry Jones will be my future mentor and he can guide me to beating people like that big ape, Azazel, who he will beat at Hell Unleashed along with Jake Lyndon... This is all revolved around a bigger picture and that’s me getting into the world title picture on either Terror or Crush, once I leave Doom and the only way I see that working out is if I become a part of Harry’s Age of Extreme philosophy and follow in his footsteps and become quite similar to him in the way of leadership, being a world champion and taking things into my own hands because by the end of Doom five, I’ll still be your Doom World Champion and I’ll also be your winner

{Ricky turns his attention to the camera and stares into it with a huge grin on his face}

Oh, and by the way Kevin Evans and Mikey Wreckingball, I almost forgot about you two, but thankfully I just remembered at the last second, so here is a few parting words from me to you... It doesn’t matter, which one of you wins on Doom this week because whenever our title match takes place, I’ll be the one that comes out on top and you’ll both be sore losers either way, so until then I’m going to do what I do best and “Wrestle” my way into a “Party”

{Ricky give a cheesy smirk to both the fans and the camera before dropping the Mic and leaving the ring to some more boos and cheers from the crowd as he walks back up the ramp, only to slap hands with party looking people this time just before goes backstage}

[The fans erupt into boos as Mikey Wreckingball walks out with a smirk on his face. He struts down the ramp, ignoring the fans as he does. He rolls in the ring and shouts at the fans as he snatches a mic from a crew worker. He stands in the center of the ring and laughs before speaking.]

"So Ricky Lackett has stated that he will win DOOM Season 5 and he will hold the DOOM World Championship for the entire season. Well Ricky, I hate to break it to you, but that aint gonna happen! It's not going to happen because tonight I will defeat Kevin Evans and then I will go on to defeat you for MY DOOM World Championship. And after I beat you I will remain on top of the competition until I am finally crowned the winner. You seem to think that you are some sort of God Ricky but you are from it. You see I am the best wrestler there is and I will win DOOM Season 5 and what will happen to you? I'll tell you what will happen; you will be forgotten about. You will just fade out of ECCW and will be forgotten about by every single wrestling fan."

[The fans boo as he continues to speak.]

"And that will be the exact same fate for Kevin Evans. Evans shouldn't even be in this competition. This guy can't wrestle and the only reason he is here is because a spot was needed before the Season started. And Evans, don't think I have forgotten about you did last week. You cost me my DOOM World Championship and I will get my revenge tonight when I defeat you to become the number one contender. Nobody in this competition is better than me. Hell nobody in this company is better than me! So this is a warning for everyone who has anything to do with ECCW; watch your back because when The Wreckingball strikes, you will not be getting back up."

[He smirks as he drops the mic. He goes to leave when...]
