"Whereas the current number of nominations needed for a candidate to proceed into step four of the administrative election process is three, totaling thirty points,

Let the guidelines be amended to change this number of nominations to two, totaling twenty points.

To be enacted immediately after a majority administrative vote."

#2: Amending the Universe Site Rules

"Whereas the currently enacted rules for the Universe website have been deemed out of date and unnecessarily concise, and revision of these rules deemed necessary,

Let rule number one be amended from 'No flaming/cyberbullying' to the following:
'There is to be no flaming of other site users at any time, under any circumstance. Flaming is to be defined as hostile and insulting interaction between internet users.'

Let rule number two be amended from 'No spamming/trolling' to the following:
'There is to be no spamming in any thread, especially those pertaining to a specific, on topic subject matter, nor in private messages or on the portal. Spamming is to be defined as the usage of electronic messaging systems to send unsolicited bulk messages, especially advertising, indiscriminately.'

Let rule number three be amended from 'No advertising of any sort without consent of an administrator' to the following:
'There is to be no advertising in any thread, nor in private messages or on the portal without the prior consent of a Universe administrator. Advertising is to be defined as a form of communication for marketing and used to encourage or persuade an audience.'

Let rule number four be amended from 'No posting of live streams is acceptable; this is illegal practice that we are not able to condone' to the following:
'There is to be no sharing of live streams on any Universe threads, nor in private messages or on the portal, for pay-per-views and other paid, online events, in compliance with the United States and others' federal laws on piracy.'

Let rule number five be amended from 'No sharing spoilers without using the spoilers forum code or without saying spoilers in the thread title' to the following:
'There is to be no sharing of spoilers with other non-interested users in any thread or in private messages or on the portal without the proper usage of the forum spoiler code or without a clear indication of contained spoilers in the title of the thread in question.'

To be enacted immediately following a majority administrative vote."
