WWE Friday Night Smackdown 7-6-12

Smackdown starts off with the music of Smackdown's General Manager, Theodore Long! Teddy Long walks out to a nice pop, he enters the ring with a microphone in hand. Teddy announces that next week on Smackdown, Drew McIntyre and Triple H will sign a contract for their Hell in the Cell match at Summerslam! Just then, Triple H's music hits! The Game walks out to a huge pop! Triple H enters the ring looking to handle nothing but business. Triple H grabs a microphone and says that there is no way he is signing that contract because just sitting across from McIntyre will cause him to want to put him in the hospital! Teddy says he understands because of what Drew did to Stephanie. Triple H cuts him off right away and says he has no idea what he or Stephanie is going through right now. He says Stephanie is broken, she can hardly move without being in pain. Triple H says his emotional pain is tearing him apart, and he will do things that shouldn't be done to people to Drew McIntyre at Summerslam! Drew McIntyre's theme hits! The WWE Champion walks out to mostly an uproar of boos! Security officials follow McIntyre out. McIntyre however stays put on the stage as his security steps in front of him on teh ramp. McIntyre says he shouldn't have to fight Triple H inside of a Cell at Summerslam because Stephanie put her self in harms way. Triple H looks furious and prepares to exit the ring to go after McIntyre but Teddy tells him not to. Triple H gives Teddy a look of frustration. McIntyre looks on with with a little fright before exiting to the back. Smackdown goes to commercial with Triple H looking furious in the ring.

Smackdown returns from commercial and Michael Cole, Matt Striker, and Booker T officially welcome the audience to Friday Night Smackdown! They hype up the Summerslam Hell in The Cell match between WWE Champion, Drew McIntyre and Triple H, but don't forget about Capitol Punishment this Sunday! Drew McIntyre will have to defend the WWE Title against the man who won a Fatal 4 Way #1 Contenders Match last week on Smackdown! The Great Khali!

Match 1: The Great Khali vs. Heath Slater

Heath Slater comes out first to mostly boos. He enters the ring and grabs a microphone and starts saying that the Great Khali is all hype. Khali's music hits and he comes out to a nice pop. He steps over the top rope, and Heath Slater goes on the attack! The bell sounds. Heath Slater starts nailing punch after punch, but Khali easily head butts him away! Heath Slater looks to be out of it as he makes it to his feet. Khali nails a big boot! Heath Slater uses the ropes to get to his feet and he staggers along the ropes. Khali turns him around and hits the chop! Slater falls flat on on his face. Khali calls for the Punjabi Plunge! Heath Slater lays motionless as Khali waits for him to get up. Khali eventually realizes that Slater isn't getting up anytime soon, so Khali wraps both hands around Slater's throat and hoists him up to his feet then into the air! Khali hits the Punjabi Plunge and places his foot on Slater's chest! 1, 2, 3!

The referee raises Khali's arm in victory. Khali celebrates his victory and signals that he'll be the WWE Champion at Capitol Punishment! Michael Cole hypes up that the Divas Champion, AJ Lee will speak after she and Kaitlyn were attacked backstage on RAW last week by #1 Contender, Kharma! They also hype up the Tag Team Championship match tonight! Primo & Epico will defend against Ezekiel Jackson & Sin Cara!

Match 2: Alex Riley w/ Damien Sandow vs. Tyson Kidd

Tyson Kidd comes out to a nice pop! He slaps hands with the fans around the ring before sliding in. Alex Riley's music hits. He walks out with new partner Damien Sandow! Replays are shown from last week's Smackdown when Sandow revealed himself as Alex Riley's saviour. Riley enters the ring and the bell sounds. Tyson Kidd offers a shake out of respect, but Alex Riley swats his hand away and it gains some major heat! Riley hits a quick kick to the gut and starts pounding away at Kidd's back. Riley grabs Tyson Kidd and throws him shoulder first into the steel turnbuckle. Tyson Kidd gets out of the turnbuckle yelling in pain. Alex Riley hits a swinging neckbreaker and goes for the cover! 1, 2, kickout! Sandow watches in approval. Riley lifts Kidd to his feet and throws him agains the ropes. Tyson Kidd ducks a clothesline, but Riley catches him on the 2nd rebound hitting a hip toss! Alex Riley applies a head lock! Tyson Kidd fights out of it after a moment and explodes with a drop kick! He crawls for the cover! 1, 2, kickout! Both men make it to their feet at the same time and Kidd goes for the Fisherman suplex! Alex Riley reverses into his own suplex!

Both get up at the same time again, and exchange blows. Alex Riley rakes Kidd's eye and throws him into the corner! He puts Tyson Kidd on the top rope and climbs up with him! Alex Riley goes for a superplex! Tyson Kidd starts pouding away at Riley's gut which causes him to crash to the canvas below! Tyson Kidd stands up on the top rope and leaps off hitting a splash! He hooks the leg! 1, 2, kickout! Tyson Kidd taunts Alex Riley to get up. Riley staggers to his feet and Tyson Kidd hits an enziguri! Riley falls to the mat. Tyson Kidd calls for the Fisherman suplex! Damien Sandow climbs the apron and starts yelling and tauting at Kidd! Tyson Kidd gets in his face and the referee tells Kidd to get back to the match and for Sandow to get off the apron! Tyson Kidd turns to face Riley again, and Riley hits a low blow as the referee is distracted with Sandow! Riley connects with a spike DDT and goes for the cover! The referee goes back to the match! 1, 2, 3!

Winner by Pinfall: Alex Riley

Damien Sandow enters the ring and shvoes the referee out of the way. Sandow raises Riley's hand in victory. The music of the Intercontinental Champion hits! Randy Orton walks out onto the stage to a huge pop! Orton has a look of disappoint ment as he raises the microphone. He says he can't believe Alex Riley just went from being a future star in the WWE to this puppet of Damien Sandow's! Sandow grabs a microphone and tells Orton to shut his mouth! He says that the WWE was holding Alex Riley back, and that Sandow will take him to the top instantly! Orton asks where did the Alex Riley with the never say die attitude that never gave up on trying to capture the Intercontinental Title? Where did the Alex Riley full of excitement and charisma go that would take him through a Hell ride in their recent battles over the past few months? Sandow says it's the same Alex Riley, and next week he'll show Randy Orton that! Orton glares at the two, as Sandow and Riley glare right back. Smackdown goes to commercial.

Smackdown returns from commercial. Cole, Striker, and Booker announce that Intercontinental Champion, Randy Orton will take on Alex Riley next week on Friday Night Smackdown!

Match 3: CM Punk vs. Alberto Del Rio

CM Punk comes out to a fantastic reaction! Alberto Del Rio comes out next to a big reaction of boos! The bell sounds. They lock up and exchange quick submissions. CM Punk hits a scoop slam and goes for the quick cover! 1, kickout! Punk lifts Del Rio up and goes for a round house kick! Del Rio ducks it and rams Punk into the corner. Del Rio goes for a right hand, and Punk ducks, escaping the corner! Del Rio charges at him and Punk hits an arm drag! Both get up at the same time and Punk knocks him down with a clothesline! Punk tries to lock in the Anaconda Vice! Del Rio grabs the ropes, and when Punk breaks, he exits the ring! Punk exits the ring and he chases Del Rio around the ring. Del Rio enters the ring, followed by Punk! Del Rio tries to go on the attack, but Punk grabs him and hoists him up for the GTS! Del Rio lands behind him and hits a back body drop! Del Rio goes for the cover! 1, 2, kickout! Del Rio gets to his feet and starts stomping away at Punk! Del Rio lifts Punk and and places his arm behind his back, before scoop slamming him! Del Rio tries to work on Punk's arm to set up the Cross Arm Breaker! Del Rio throws Punk shoulder first into the corner. Punk falls out of the corner and Del Rio sets up for the Cross Arm Breaker! Punk quickly rolls out of it and both get up at the same time. Punk hits a drop kick!

CM Punk climbs the top rope and calls for his signature Elbow Drop! He connects! Punk goes for the cover! 1, 2, kickout! CM Punk gets to his feet and signals for the GTS! Just then, "YES! YES! YES!" Daniel Bryan walks out onto the stage yelling out his signature catch phrase! Punk turns to him looking confused on why Bryan is out here anyway. Del Rio gets to his feet and rolls Punk up! He pulls on the tights! 1, 2, 3!

Alberto Del Rio has his arm raised in victory. CM Punk looks on with a confused look. Daniel Bryan smirks and points at CM Punk before heading to the back. Up next Primo & Epico defend their Tag Team Titles against Sin Cara & Ezekiel Jackson!

Match 4: WWE Tag Team Championship: (C) Epico & Primo w/ Rosa Mendes vs. Ezekiel Jackson & Sin Cara

Primo and Epico are lead out by Rosa! They come out to some heat. Sin Cara and Ezekiel Jackson come out next to a nice pop! As the bell sounds, Sin Cara and Epico start things off. Cameras cut backstage to where tag team partners, Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins are watching the match! Epico tries to grab Sin Cara, but Sin Cara uses his speed and hits a quick hurricanrana! Epico looks frustrated and runs at Sin Cara. Sin Cara slides under him and pops up behind him hitting a leaping neck breaker! Sin Cara goes for the cover! 1, 2, kickout! Sin Cara takes Epico over to his corner and tags in Ezekiel Jackson! Jackson enters the ring and hoists Epico over his head and slams him to the mat! He taunts Epico to get up. Epico gets to his feet and runs toward his corner tagging in Primo, wanting nothing to do with Ezekiel Jackson! Primo enters the ring looking un-confident. He tries to lock up with Ezekiel Jackson, but if ails miserably! Jackson hits a huge powerslam! He goes for the cover! 1, 2, kickout! Jackson tells Primo that it wasn't wise to kick out! Jackson powerslams Primo again and tags in Sin Cara! Sin Cara springboards off the top rope and leg drops Primo! Ezekiel Jackson tells Epico to try and break in the pin up! Epico wants nothing to do with Ezekiel Jackson! Sin Cara hooks the leg! 1, 2, 3!

Sin Cara & Ezekiel Jackson are awarded their new titles! Jackson hoists Sin Cara up on his shoulder and they celebrate their title victory as Smackdown goes to commercial! AJ Lee is next!

Smackdown returns from commercial and the music of the Divas Champion hits! AJ Lee comes out to a huge pop! AJ walks down to the ring looking focused! She enters the ring and grabs a microphone. She instantly calls out Kharma! AJ says she doesn't want to wait for Capitol Punishment because of what Kharma did to Kaitlyn. AJ says she can care less that Kharma slammed her on the wooden pallets, but when she did it to Kaitlyn she crossed a line that shouldn't be crossed. Teddy Long's music hits and AJ rolls her eyes. She tells Teddy that she has no disrespect toward him, but she needs to handle this now. Teddy tells AJ that he is sorry, but she must wait for the title match at Capitol Punishment. AJ says its no longer about her defending the Divas Championship, its personal now. AJ says that Kharma should be the one who is scared going into Capitol Punishment. AJ raises her Divas Title high and drops her microphone. The fans give her another huge pop as she heads to the back.

Smackdown goes to commercial.

Ted DiBiase's theme hits! He comes out to mostly boos. He grabs a microphone and starts saying how it is crap the way he is treated. He says the only reason he is out here is to make a statement! The lights go out and pyro shoots off! Chris Jericho comes out to a huge pop! Jericho makes his first Smackdown debut since being traded to Smackdown 2 weeks ago.

Match 5: Ted DiBiase vs. Chris Jericho

The bell sounds and Jericho quickly drops DiBiase with a Code Breaker and locks in the Walls of Jericho! DiBiase instantly taps, but Jericho refuses to let go until the referee gets in to break it up!

Winner by Submission: Chris Jericho

Jericho grabs a microphone and says that was a true statement. He poses on the top rope and gets a big pop!

Cameras cut to the backstage where the WWE Champion, Drew McIntyre is running away from someone. Triple H comes around the corner with a sledge hammer in hand! One of McIntyre's security officials tries to wrestle the hammer away from Triple H, but he ends up being stricken with it instead! McIntyre runs into someones locker room. It ends up being his #1 contender, the Great Khali! McIntyre looks scared for his life as he stands infront of Khali. Khali signals the title around his waist, and McIntyre quickly runs out of his locker room. Triple H chases McIntyre into the parking lot. McIntyre climbs into a limo, and before it speeds off, Triple H smashes the back window of the limo. McIntyre can be seen looking at Triple H with major fright in his face as the limo speeds off. Triple H is shown standing in the parking lot with a furious face as Smackdown goes off the air! Don't forget Capitol Punishment is this Sunday! July 8, 2012!

Capitol Punishment opens up with the fans on their feet and cheering their lungs out! Michael Cole and Jerry the King Lawler welcome everyone to the pay-per-view! They introduce the Smackdown broadcast team, Booker T and Matt Striker. The bell sounds and the first match is ready to get under way!

United States Championship: (C) The Miz vs. Brodus Clay w/ Naomi & Cameron

The Miz's theme hits and the United States Champion walks out onto the stage to a huge amount of heat! He holds his U.S. Title high as he makes his way down to the ring. Brodus Clay comes out next to a nice pop. He tells Naomi and Cameron to wait backstage. Cole reminds everyone that Miz prepared to Skull Crush Finalie Naomi last week on RAW. Brodus enters the ring and the bell sounds! Miz goes for a quick shot and connects. He goes for another, but Brodus catches him and hits a scoop slam! Brodus lifts Miz up and throws him into the ropes. Miz ducks a clothesline, but eats an elbow on the rebound! Brodus Clay goes for the cover! 1, 2, kickout! Brodus lifts Miz up and throws him into the corner. Brodus charges at Miz going for a splash, but Miz runs out of the corner. Brodus stops himself so that he wouldn't collide with the turnbuckle pads. Miz runs behind Brodus and goes for a back body drop! He isn't able to lift Brodus! Brodus Clay instead hits a back body drop on Miz! He goes for another cover. 1, 2, kickout! The Miz rolls under the bottom rope and exits the ring. He grabs his U.S. Title and starts to head up the ramp! Brodus Clay exits the ring and grabs him. Miz tries to strike Brodus with the United States Title, but Brodus dodges it and lays Miz out with a clothesline.

Brodus drags Miz back to ringside and rolls him into the ring! Miz crawls to the opposite side of the ring and goes under the ropes. Brodus doesn't allow him to make it to the outside though. He lifts Miz up on the apron and prepares to bring him back into the ring, but Miz latches onto Brodus' head and jumps off the apron. Brodus hits his neck off the top rope. Miz gets back into the ring and starts hitting random lefts and rights. Brodus shoves him away, but Miz goes right back on the attack! He dives down and takes Brodus' ankle out! Miz gets to his feet and stomps on Brodus' ankle! Miz hits an elbow drop on Brodus and goes for the cover. 1, 2, kickout! Miz stomps away at Brodus again and goes for another cover. 1, 2, kickout! Miz calls for the Skull Crushing Finale! Brodus hobbles to his feet and Miz locks in the grasp! Brodus powers out of it! He runs at Miz, but his ankle gives out! Miz gets behind Brodus and lifts him up all the way and connects with the Skull Crushing Finale! Miz hooks the leg! 1, 2, 3!

Miz is awarded his title and he holds it high. He climbs the top rope and poses with the title while taunting the fans. Naomi and Cameron come to ringside and check on Brodus as cameras cut to Triple H! Triple H is shown entering the building. Smackdown General Manager, Theodore Long is waiting for him. Teddy asks Triple H to please not interfere in the WWE Championship match tonight. Triple H pats Teddy on the back and says he won't interfere in the match, and then carrys on down the corridor.

A video package is shown highlighting Seth Rollins! The rookie who is taking the WWE by storm! The video ends with highlights of the recent rivalry between Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins!

Match 2: Cody Rhodes vs. Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins comes out first to a nice pop. He slaps his with the fans before entering the ring. Cody Rhodes comes out next to a ton of heat! He ignores the crowd and keeps his eyes on Rollins as he enters the ring. The bell sounds. They circle the ring for a moment before locking up! Rollins gets behind Cody and side slams him! He slaps Cody in the back and Cody rolls away from him. Cody looks very frustrated. Cody wants to lock up again, this time for a test of strength. Seth Rollins starts winning the test of strength, and Cody delivers a kick to the mid section! He hits a neckbreaker and goes for the cover! 1, 2, kickout! Cody lifts Rollins up and puts him in the corner. Cody delivers a few kicks to the gut before throwing Rollins to the opposite corner. Cody runs at him and delivers a shoulder to the gut! Rollins staggers out of the corner and Cody hits a hip toss! He goes for the cover! 1, 2, kickout! Cody tells the referee to count faster! Cody lifts Rollins up, and Rollins turns it into a small package! 1, 2, kickout! Cody Rhodes rolls away once again and looks very frustrated. Seth Rollins gets to his feet and smiles. He tells Cody to bring it! Cody charges at him and Rollins hits a back flip! Cody crashes into the matc, and Rollins goes for the cover! 1, 2, kickout! Seth Rollins signals for the Super Kick! Cody Rhodes gets to his feet and Rollins goes for the kick! Cody catches him and spins him around for the Cross Rhodes! Cody nearly connects, but Rollins escapes at the last second! Cody turns to him and is nailed by the Super Kick! Seth Rollins covers him! 1, 2, kickout! Seth Rollins can't believe it. He lifts Rhodes up and goes for antoher Super Kick! Cody Rhodes ducks it and leaps to the ropes and comes back hitting the Beautiful Diaster out of no where! He crawls over Rollins for the pin! 1, 2, kickout! Both men are down as the referee starts his 10 count! At 8, both are up and the count breaks. They exchange right hands for a moment, until Seth Rollins hits a drop kick out of no where! He goes for the cover. 1, 2, kickout! Cody out of no where uses a small package of his own! 1, 2, kickout! Rollins rolls out of it and they both get up. Cody goes for a drop kick and misses! He gets to his feet and Seth Rollins rolls behind him and rolls him up! 1, 2, 3!!

Seth Rollins has his arm raised in victory. Cody Rhodes looks to be in shock. Rollins exits the ring and celebrates his victory with some of the fans at ringside. Cody looks at him with an angry expression. Cody turns his attention to the referee and prepares to strike him, just then, Rollins enters the ring again and turns Cody around! Seth Rollins hits the Super Kick laying Cody Rhodes out! Rollins celebrates in the ring as cameras cut to Divas Champion, AJ Lee who finishes taping her wrists up. She is greeted by RAW General Manager, John Laurinatis. He tells AJ that he has already talked to Kharma and she has agreed. Laurinatis has made the match not only No DQ as the original stipulation, it is now a Falls count Anywhere Match! AJ says nothing as she grabs her Title and walks off. Laurinatis smirks and wishes her goodluck. Laurinatis turns away and heads down the hall where Kane cuts him off! Kane says Laurinatis better watch what he does around here or there will be Hell to pay, literally! Laurinatis looks scared to death as Kane walks down the hall.

Match 3: Divas Championship, No DQ, Falls Count Anywhere: (C) AJ Lee vs. Kharma

Kharma's music hits and she walks out onto the stage to nothing but boos! She enters the ring looking focused. AJ's theme hits and she comes out to a huge pop! She looks to be focused also, and doesn't take her eyes off of Kharma. She enters the ring and holds the title up. Kharma charges her and goes for a clothesline, but AJ ducks! AJ starts throwing forearms as the bell sounds! She nails Kharma in the jaw which busts her lip! Kharma realizes she is bleeding and laughs. AJ runs at her and drop kicks her! Kharma backs up a few feet toward the ropes. AJ does it again and Kharma falls through the ropes to the outside! Kharma gets to her feet and AJ runs against the ropes and thrusts herself at Kharma on the outside! Kharma catches her and rams her back first into the steel turnbuckle. She drops AJ and AJ yells in pain as she holds her back. Kharma rips her to her feet and forces her back to the floor. Kharma nearly breaks AJ in half and punts her in the stomach! AJ goes about a foot into the air and uses the steps to get to her feet. Kharma charges and AJ ducks out of the way. Kharma smashes herself into the steps! AJ runs at her and connects with the Shining Wizard! Kharma falls on her back, and AJ looks to pull of the win! 1, 2, kickout! Kharma powers AJ off of her! AJ uses the apron to get to her feet as Kharma recovers on her own power. AJ runs at Kharma and Kharma side steps her and grabs AJ and uses AJ's own momentum to send her over the security barrier!

Kharma climbs over the barrier and grabs AJ. AJ throws a forearm catching Kharma in the jaw again. Kharma comes back with a head butt knocking AJ down. Kharma grabs AJ and drags her into the backstage area! Kharma throws AJ onto a catering table and drags her across it before throwing her to the floor. Kharma refuses to go for the pin as she rips AJ to her feet again and rams her into the wall! AJ falls slides down the wall and falls face first onto the floor. The referee asks AJ if she wants to stop the match and AJ mutters "no" to him. Kharma laughs as she lifts AJ to her feet. She throws her through a set of doors that leads to the parking lot. AJ crawls and secretly grabs a lead pipe! As Kharma lifts her up, AJ swings and hits Kharma in the knee with it! Followed by a shot to the gut then the head! Kharma however, doesn't fall over. AJ runs and drop kicks her, and Kharma falls onto a car hood! AJ covers her! 1, 2, kickout! As AJ lays across Kharma from the cover, Kharma grabs AJ by the throat and gets up. She rams AJ's back intot he hood of the car a few times before lifting her up over her head. Kharma prepares to slam AJ on the wind shield! AJ squirms out of her grip! AJ lands behind Kharma and lifts the lead pipe up again! She swings for the fences and hits Kharma across the top of her head! AJ drops the pipe and hits the Shining Wizard! Kharma goes down! AJ climbs ontop of the car and stands on the roof of it! She drops an elbow right where Kharma's heart is! AJ covers her! 1, 2, 3!

Winner by Pinfall: Still Divas Champion, AJ Lee

AJ gets to her feet, but falls onto a knee. She is given her title by the referee. She sits back against a car. Kharma looks to be knocked out as AJ is announced the winner. AJ yells out that the match and her victory was for her best friend Kaitlyn. AJ is helped by the trainers back to the locker room area as some more trainers check on a downed Kharma.

Cameras cut to the two General Managers. John Laurinatis looks a little angry. Teddy says that the match was very brutal. He hopes that there isn't serious injuries to ether divas. Laurinatis says he can care less if there are any injuries, he can't believe what Kane said to him earlier tonight. Teddy says that he wants nothing to do with the situation Laurinatis and Kane had earlier tonight.

A promo airs for WWE Summerslam, which is August 19th, 2012!

Match 4: Mason Ryan vs. John Cena

A promo airs highlighting Mason Ryan's reign of terror over the past 2 and a half months, and his new rivalry with John Cena! Cameras cut backstage to where Josh Mathews is standing by with John Cena! Cena says that he is fighting for the boys in the locker room, the ones Mason Ryan has destroyed and brutally assaulted for no reason. Mason Ryan's music hits and he comes out to a big mixed reaction where there are way more boos then cheers! Mason Ryan threatens to hit a fan at ringside, before entering the ring. John Cena's theme hits and he comes out to quite arguably the best reaction of the night! He enters the ring and the bell sounds. They circle the ring then engage in a stare down. Mason Ryan throws a right hand and Cena catches it! Cena throws a right hand and Ryan catches it! They have a test of strenght which stalemates! Cena gets behind Ryan, but Mason Ryan elbows Cena and turns to him connecting with a boot! Mason Ryan goes for the cover! 1, 2, kickout! Mason Ryan lifts Cena to his feet and pushes him into the corner. Mason Ryan rams a shoulder into Cena's cut before powerslamming him out of the corner! Mason Ryan goes for another cover. 1, 2, kickout! Mason Ryan backs up a few feet and calls for Cena to get up! Cena gets to his feet and Mason Ryan charges going for a devistating clothesline! Cena ducks and hoists Ryan up for the AA! Mason Ryan quickly escapes and lands behind Cena. Cena how ever gets on the attack first and hits a snap suplex! Cena gets to his feet, as does Ryan! Cena hits a shoulder ram! Mason Ryan gets to his feet and Cena hits the spin out powerbomb! Cena calls for the Five Knuckle Shuffle! Mason Ryan leaves on his own as they tend to Cena. Mason Ryan yells that no one will ruin his destiny of becoming a Champion by WrestleMania!

Cameras cut backstage to Sheamus, who is moments away from challenging Christian to try and regain his World Heavyweight Championship! Josh Mathews tries to get a few words. Sheamus answers him by telling him to get his answer, watch what happens in the ring!

Match 5: World Heavyweight Championship: (C) Christian vs. Sheamus

The World Champion, Christian comes out first. As he makes his entrance a promo for the match is shown, from when Christian cashed in Money in the Bank and took advantage of a knocked out Sheamus, to capture the World Heavyweight Championship! Christian smirks as the video finishes. Sheamus' music hits and he comes out to a big pop! He enters the ring and the bell sounds. Sheamus and Christian lock up and Christian tries to slam him right away. Sheamus counters easily and delivers a big right hand knocking Christian down! Sheamus lifts Christian up and throws him into the corner. Sheamus hits lefts and rights before bringing Christian out of the corner and decking him with a clothesline! Sheamus goes for the cover! 1, 2, kickout! Sheamus calls for the Brogue Kick early! Christian gets to his feet, and as Sheamus charges, Christian slides through the middle rope and swings his momentum up, kicking Sheamus in the face! Christian climbs back into the ring and hits a running neck breaker! Christian goes for the cover! 1, 2, kickout! Christian lifs Sheamus to his feet and chops his chest. Sheamus comes back with one of his own, and then another, followed by another! Sheamus hits a back body drop on Christian! Christian staggers to his feet, and Sheamus hits the Irish Curse! Sheamus goes for the cover! 1, 2, kickout! Sheamus calls for the Brogue Kick once again! Christian uses the ropes to get to his feet, Sheamus misses again! Christian rolls him up! 1, 2, kickout! Christian goes for the Kill Switch, but Sheamus counters and goes for White Noise! Christian lands behind him and hits a reverse DDT! Christian climbs to the top rope and goes for the Frog Splash! He misses! Sheamus lifts Christian up and throws her into the corner! Sheamus goes for the Brogue Kick at 3rd time! Christian moves out of the way and Sheamus once again misses! This time he gets hung up on the rope. He gets his leg un-caught after a moment. He turns back to Christian, who hits a spear! Christian hooks the leg! 1, 2 kickout! Christian rolls to the outside and grabs the World Title. He brings it into play. He charges at Sheamus with it, but Sheamus Brogue Kicks it back in his face! The referee calls for the bell!

Christian is announced the winner by DQ. Sheamus looks to be in shock as he hears the result. Christian rolls out of the ring and holds his title high while in tremendous pain. Sheamus looks on with a shocked expression as cameras cut backstage.

Josh Mathews is shown exiting the General Manager office. He has a medical update on John Cena, Kharma, and Divas Champion, AJ Lee. He starts with AJ and says that she has suffered a few bruised bones, but other than that, a few scratches and bumps. Kharma on the other hand will be out with a concussion for at least 2 months. As he prepares to announce Cena's diagnosis, John Cena limps into the camera shot and places his hand over Mathews' microphone. Cena says it doesn't matter what happened to him. He enters the GM office as cameras cut back to ringside for the Main Event!

A video package airs replaying the Fatal 4 Way #1 contenders match that the Great Khali won, which has set up the Main Event!

Main Event, WWE Championship: (C) Drew McIntyre vs. The Great Khali

The Great Khali makes his entrance first to a decent pop. He signals that he will be WWE Champion. Drew McIntyre's entrance theme hits and the WWE Champion walks out to a ton of heat! Boos reign down on him as he walks down to the ring with a smirk. He enters the ring and the bell sounds. Khali and McIntyre meet center of the ring and stare each other down. Khali grabs McIntyre and throws him into the ropes, he hits a big boot! McIntyre rolls to the outside. Khali steps over the top rope, and McIntyre elbows him in the ankle! Khali crashes off the apron to the outside! McIntyre starts delivering stomps to Khali as he makes his way to his feet. Khali grabs McIntyre and slams his head off the apron and rolls him back into the ring. As Khali slides into the ring, McIntyre baseball slides him in the face and goes for the cover! 1, 2, kickout! McIntyre goes for another cover! 1, kickout! McIntyre calls for the Future Shock! Khali gets up and McIntyre hooks his arms, but Khali counters and slams McIntyre with a powerful scoop slam! Khali goes for the cover! 1, 2, kickout! McIntyre crawls to his feet, and turns into a big chop by Khali! Khali goes for another cover! 1, 2, kickout! Khali calls for the Punjabi Plunge! McIntyre gets to his feet and Khali wraps both hands around the throat! He lifts McIntyre up! But McIntyre punches Khali right in the face as he had him in the air! McIntyre lands and kicks Khali in the gut! McIntyre hits the Future Shock! 1, 2, 3!

The fans go into an uproar of boos as McIntyre is announced the winner! He taunts the fans and celebrates his title defense. Triple H's music hits! McIntyre looks scared for his life! He yells for security to come out! Security comes out and blocks off the entrance ramp! Triple H comes from under the ring! He climbs in behind McIntyre with a sledgehammer in hand! He turns McIntyre around and swings and hits him in the gut! Security enters the ring and Triple H forces them to run because of the sledgehammer! Triple H climbs over top of McIntyre and delivers blows to the head busting him wide open! Triple H gets McIntyre to his feet and throws him out of the ring! He beats him to the top of the stage! McIntyre begs Triple H to stop. Triple H hits a Pedigree on the steel stage! McIntyre looks to be knocked out! Triple H walks to the back as medical officials aid the WWE Champion. Triple H comes back out and lifts McIntyre up! He throws him off the stage and McIntyre crashes through a few tables that were set up for equipment! Triple H stands at the top of the stage looking on as McIntyre lays in the rubble below the stage. Capitol Punishment goes off the air with Triple H doing his signature pose.

WWE Monday Night RAW 7-9-12

RAW's intro opens up the show, and Michael Cole & Jerry the King Lawler welcome everyone to the show. Michael Cole announces the return of the Gold Rush Tournament! The winner of the Tournament will go on to face Christian for the World Heavy Weight Championship at Summerslam! Both RAW and Smackdown superstars will take part in the Tournament! They lay out the participants! Kane, John Cena, Mason Ryan, Sheamus, Dolph Ziggler, Daniel Bryan, Kofi Kingston, MVP, Jack Swagger, Justin Gabriel, Chris Jericho, Alberto Del Rio, William Regal, Zack Ryder, Wade Barrett and finally CM Punk! Here is the First set of matches!

The first match of the tournament is ready to get under way!

Match 1: Gold Rush Tournament, Sheamus vs. Jack Swagger

Sheamus' music hits and he comes out to a big pop! As Sheamus makes his way to the ring highlights of last night's Capitol Punishment PPV are shown, where Sheamus was DQed for hitting the Brogue Kick on Christian as he tried hitting Sheamus with the World Title, Sheamus would accidentally kick the title in Christian's face! Sheamus shakes his head in disappointment as watches the video. He grabs a microphone and says that last night was only a bump in his journey back to the top. He says that he will earn his way back to the top. Jack Swagger's music interupts him and he comes out to a lot of boos. He enters the ring and takes Sheamus' microphone. He tells Sheamus to shut his mouth and let destiny go in Swagger's rightful direction. The bell sounds and they lock up! Neither man budges and Sheamus backs off and charges in taking Swagger down with a clothesline! Swagger gets back to his feet and Sheamus drops him with another clothesline! Swagger gets up, slower this time. Sheamus goes for the Brogue Kick! Swagger ducks it and grabs Sheamus from behind. He connects with a German Suplex! Swagger goes for the cover! 1, 2, kickout! Swagger gets Sheamus to his feet and throws him into the corner! Swagger splashes on Sheamus and hits a belly to belly suplex! Swagger hooks the leg again! 1, 2, kickout! Swagger gets up and taunts Sheamus by doing his own taunt for the Brogue Kick! Sheamus gets to his feet and Swagger attempts his own Brogue Kick! Sheamus catches Swagger and hits the Irish Curse! Sheamus goes for the cover! 1, 2, kickout! Sheamus crawls to his feet and calls for the Brogue Kick! Christian's music hits and the World Champion walks out onto the stage with a microphone in hand. He starts taunting Sheamus and telling him that he doesn't deserve to be in the Tournament! Sheamus turns all his attention to Christian, and Swagger comes from behind and rolls Sheamus up! 1, 2, 3!

Swagger exits the ring and runs up the ramp taunting everyone as he is announced the winner. Sheamus looks at Christian with a furious face as Christian laughs and tells him that he won't be in any title match anytime soon. Christian heads to the back as RAW goes to commercial.

RAW returns from commercial break with the Divas Champion, AJ Lee walking backstage. She turns the corner and bumps into RAW GM, John Laurinatis. Laurinatis looks furious and demands an apology. AJ rolls her eyes at him and tells him that she wishes Kane would have destroyed him last night after their little confrontation backstage. Laurinatis has a sarcastic smrik and tells AJ if she likes what Kane said last night, she'll be booked in a match tonight against an opponent of his choosing! He shoves past AJ and keeps on walking. AJ shakes her head as cameras cut back to ringside.

Match 2: Gold Rush Tournament, Mason Ryan vs. Kofi Kingston

Mason Ryan comes out first. He receives a ton of boos. Highlights of him losing to John Cena at Capitol Punishment are played, but the after math is also shown from when Ryan destroyed Cena with a steel chair. Kofi Kingstom comes out next to a good pop. He enters the ring and goes right after Mason Ryan throwing lefts and rights as the bell sounds! He gets Mason Ryan backed up against the ropes. Kofi tries to Irish whip Ryan to the other side of the ring, but Ryan counters into his own. Kofi ducks a huge clothesline and comes back with a cross body! Mason Ryan catches him and throws him up on his shoulders. Kofi slips out of his grip and hits a running bull dog! Kofi goes for the cover! 1, 2, kickout! Kofi gets to his feet and so does Ryan. Kofi hits a few kicks to the lower leg areas of Mason Ryan. Kofi goes to finish the combo with a kick to the head, but Mason Ryan catches his leg. Mason Ryan spins Kofi around and he connects with Trouble in Paradise out of no where! Mason Ryan falls out of the ring however. Kofi looks disappointed.

Kofi heads to the outside to get Ryan, but as Kofi lifts Mason Ryan up. Mason Ryan counters and hits a huge spinebuster on the outside! Mason Ryan lifts Kofi up and throws him back into the ring. Mason Ryan taunts Kofi to get up. Kofi uses the ropes to pull himself up, and nearly falls over again. Kofi turns to Mason Ryan and Mason Ryan charges! Mason Ryan connects with a devistating clothesline! Mason Ryan lifts Kofi up and hoists him up for a Sit Out Powerbomb, and easily connects! Mason Ryan doesn't go for the pin though! He lifts Kofi up and hits another Powerbomb! He goes for the cover this time. 1, 2, 3!

Mason Ryan doesn't allow the referee to raises his hand in victory. Ryan grabs a microphone and tells everyone that he is going to reach his World Title goal, before it is even time for WrestleMania! He says that Summerslam, he will walk out the World Champion! Mason Ryan drops his microphone and notices Kofi starting to stir. Mason Ryan rips him to his feet and hits another Powerbomb before heading to the back. Up next, Divas Champion, AJ Lee will take on John Laurinatis' mystery opponent!

RAW returns from commercial, and AJ's theme hits! The Divas Champion comes out to a huge pop. She enters the ring ready to compete. John Laurinatis appears on the titantron. He receives a ton of heat. Laurinatis says if AJ wants to run her mouth, then she'll have to pay the price! Tensai's music plays! Sakamoto walks out and Tensaid follows. AJ has a look of fear as Tensai enters the ring.

Match 3: Divas Champion, AJ Lee vs. Tensai w/ Sakamoto

The referee hesitates, but Laurinatis tells him to ring the bell! The bell sounds. AJ looks frozen in the corner from the fright. Tensai walks up to her and grabs her by the hair. He drags her to the middle of the ring. Just then, pyro ignites! Kane walks out onto the stage and charges down to the ring. He climbs into the ring and decks Tensai with a big boot! Kane lifts his hand up for a Chokeslam, and Tensai exits the ring. Sakamoto enters the ring and kicks Kane in the back. Kane quickly turns to him and wraps his hand around Sakamoto's throat! Kane hits a massive Chokeslam! Tensai retreats up the ramp, giving Kane a angry look. Kane turns his attention to AJ and helps her to her feet. Kane prepares to hit his ring pyro, but Laurinatis appears on the titantron again! John Laurinatis tells Kane that since he interfered in Laurinatis' business yet again, Kane is stripped of his Gold Rush Tournament match! Kane has a furious look, but he turns to AJ and says its okay. Kane helps AJ out of the ring and the two head to the back.

Up next, Gold Rush Tournament members will go at it in a 6 Tag Team match! Zack Ryder, CM Punk, and Rey Mysterio take on Wade Barrett, Alberto Del Rio, and Daniel Bryan. Also later tonight Justin Gabriel will go one on one with Chris Jericho in a Gold Rush Match, and in the Main Event, John Cena and Dolph Ziggler will go one on one in a Gold Rush Match!

Match 4: Zack Ryder, CM Punk, & Rey Mysterio vs. Wade Barrett, Alberto Del Rio, & Daniel Bryan

The team of CM Punk, Zack Ryder, and Rey Mysterio come out first to a huge pop! Barrett, Daniel Bryan, and Del Rio come out next to a lot of heat, but as always many of the fans join in on the "YES"" chants of Daniel Bryan! The bell sounds. Ryder and Bryan start off the match. They lock up, and Bryan gets behind Ryder and locks in a waist lock. Zack Ryder spins behind Bryan and hits a side slam. Ryder goes for a quick cover. 1, kickout! Bryan rolls to his feet and he and Ryder lock up again. Bryan stomps on Ryder's foot and hits a DDT! Daniel Bryan tags in Alberto Del Rio! Del Rio enters the ring and Bryan holds Ryder up. Del Rio hits a shot to the gut before hitting a neckbreaker! Del Rio goes for a cover. 1, 2, kickout! Del Rio lifts Ryder up and tags in Wade Barrett. Barrett enters the ring and slaps Ryder on the head as he tries to get up. Barrett gets Ryder to his feet, and Ryder hits a drop kick out of no where! Ryder crawls and tags in CM Punk! Punk hops over the top rope and Barrett gets to his feet. Punk hits a chop to the chest on Barrett, and hoists him for the GTS! Barrett elbows his way out of it. Barrett hits a scoop slam on Punk and goes for the cover. 1, 2, kickout! Barrett tags in Bryan.

Daniel Bryan delivers stomps to Punk and yells out "YES" as he kicks at Punk. Daniel Bryan heads to the top rope and leaps off going for the headbutt! CM Punk rolls out of the way and Daniel Bryan crashes into the mat! CM Punk dives and tags in Rey Mysterio! Rey jumps up and spring boards off the top rope and splashes onto Daniel Bryan! He goes for the cover! 1, 2, and it is broken up by Wade Barrett! Zack Ryder enters the ring and clotheslines Barrett over the top rope! Ryder is thrown out of the ring by Del Rio. CM Punk tosses Del Rio to the outside. Daniel Bryan gets to his feet and Rey Mysterio leaps up and drop kicks Daniel Bryan into the ropes. Rey runs against the ropes and hits the 619! Rey spring boards again this time leg dropping Bryan! He hooks the leg! 1, 2, 3!

The World Heavyweight Champion, Christian is shown walking backstage, he runs into Laurinatis. Christian tells Laurinatis that he is doing the best job that he's ever seen as a GM. Laurinatis thanks Christian that someone finally appreciates his work. Laurinatis says that he loves how Christian is the face of Monday Night RAW, and when this Gold Rush Tournament is over, he expects nothing but a match full of amazing highlights of Summerslam! Christian promises him the best match he'll ever see, with Captain Charisma remaining the World Heavyweight Champion!

Match 5: Gold Rush Tournament, Justin Gabriel vs. Chris Jericho

Justin Gabriel makes his entrance first to a nice pop. Cole reminds everyone how the Smackdown superstar has been very high on Smackdown GM, Teddy Long's rankings. Chris Jericho comes out next to a great pop. Smackdown's newest superstar makes his way to the ring and slaps hands with Gabriel as the bell sounds. They circle the ring for a moment. Jericho reaches for Gabriel, and Gabriel spins behind Jericho. Gabriel drop kicks Jericho in the back and knocks him down. Gabriel goes for the first cover of the match! 1, 2, kickout! Gabriel taunts Jericho to get up. Gabriel charges at Jericho, and Jericho lifts his knee catching Gabriel in the gut! Gabriel flips onto his back and Jericho goes for the cover! 1, 2, kickout! Jericho goes for the Lionsault and Gabriel moves out of the way. Jericho lands on his feet infront of Gabriel. Gabriel reaches up and kicks Jericho in the side of the head! Gabriel gets to his feet and hits a swinging neckbreaker! Justin Gabriel heads to the top rope! Gabriel hits a corkscrew moonsault! He goes for the cover! 1, 2, kickout!

Gabriel looks on in disbelief. He heads back up and goes for the 450 Splash! Jericho moves out of the way! Jericho gets to his feet and hits the Lionsault! Jericho hooks the leg! 1, 2, kickout! Jericho calls for the Code Breaker! Gabriel gets to his feet and as Jericho prepares to go for the Code Breaker, Justin Gabriel hits a spinning wheel kick! He crawls over Jericho for the cover! 1, 2, kickout! Both men crawl to their feet and exchange blows, Jericho tackles Gabriel and locks in the Walls of Jericho! Gabriel yells in pain, but refuses to tap, he reaches the ropes! Jericho breaks the hold. Jericho gets Gabriel to his feet and throws him against the ropes. Gabriel comes back with a cross body! Gabriel and Jericho get up at the same time, and Gabriel goes for a drop kick! Jericho catches Gabriel's legs and locks in the Walls of Jericho yet again! He pulls Gabriel center of the ring and applies a ton of pressure. Gabriel has no choice and he taps out!

Chris Jericho lets go of the hold and has his arm raised in victory. Jericho helps Gabriel to his feet and they shake hands. Gabriel holds Jericho's arm up and the fans give them a huge pop! Michael Cole announces that he has just gotten word. Kane will take on Tensai next week live on Monday Night RAW! Up next is the Main Event! John Cena will go one on one with Dolph Ziggler!

Main Event: Gold Rush Tournament, Dolph Ziggler vs. John Cena

Dolph Ziggler's theme hits and he comes out to a big mixed reaction. He enters the ring and grabs a microphone. He says the Gold Rush Tournament is a joke, but not because it is pointless. He gives a shout out to John Laurinatis for bringing it back. Ziggler says its a joke because he will crush everyone in it and go on to Summerslam to win the World Heavyweight Title! John Cena's theme hits and he comes out to a giant pop! Cena enters the ring and the bell sounds. They circle the ring before locking up. Cena hits a hip toss on Ziggler, and Ziggler quickly gets to his feet. They lock up again, this time Cena hits him with an arm drag! Ziggler quickly gets up again, and Cena hits a fisherman suplex! Cena goes for a quick cover! 1, 2, kickout! Cena gets Ziggler up, and Ziggler trips him up and Cena hits the middle rope. Ziggler stalks Cena and hits a back drop! Ziggler gets up and drops a quick elbow, following up with the pin! 1, 2, kickout! Ziggler goes for the Sleeper Hold, but Cena quickly counters it!

They both get up at the same time, and Ziggler hits the drop kick! Ziggler hooks the leg! 1, 2, kickout! Dolph Ziggler signals the end is near, and he calls for the Zig Zag! Cena gets to his feet, and as Ziggler leaps for the Zig Zag, Cena catche him and throws him up on his shoulders! Cena nearly hits the AA, but Ziggler holds onto the ropes! Ziggler lands behind Cena and hits the Zig Zag! Ziggler goes for the cover! 1, 2, kickout! Dolph Ziggler has a look of shock on his face! Ziggler goes for the cover again. 1, 2, kickout! Ziggler lifts Cena up and goes for the Zig Zag again, but Cena holds onto the ropes! Ziggler gets up, and Cena hits a shoulder ram! They both get to their feet, and Cena hoists Ziggler up for the spin out powerbomb! Cena goes for the Five Knuckle Shuffle and connects! Cena calls for the AA! Ziggler staggers to his feet and Cena hoists him up for the AA! Ziggler again lands behind Cena and rolls him up! 1, 2, kickout! Ziggler meets Cena in the middle of the ring and Cena finally connects with the AA! He covers Ziggler. 1, 2, 3!

Rules
Heres how the Gold Rush Tournament works! There are 16 Participants, who will face off in certain matches. If your opponent defeats you, they advance in the tournament and you are eliminated. The last man standing, will be declared the winner and will become the Number One Contender and will face Christian for the World Heavyweight Championship at Summerslam! The Tournament is done in Rounds and Parts. Round 1 will feature 8 matches in total. There will be 2 Parts to a Round. Part 1 and Part 2. Each Part will consist of 4 matches. Every Round, the brackets will get smaller and smaller, eventually coming out with a winner!

WWE Friday Night Smackdown News 7-13-12

Drew McIntyre successfully retained his WWE Championship, but McIntyre payed the ultimate price when Triple H came seeking revenge! The Game through beat McIntyre with a sledgehammer, and then sent him off the stage through equipment tables! What will happen when Triple H and Drew McIntyre sign their Summerslam Hell in a Cell contract? And what condition is the Champion in?

Plus! Randy Orton had some words for Damien Sandow and Alex Riley this past week on Smackdown. The Intercontinental Champion, Randy Orton will take on Alex Riley! How will Riley's so called "saviour" Damien Sandow same him from the Viper!

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 7-13-12

Smackdown opens recapping the WWE Championship match between Drew McIntyre and The Great Khali! McIntyre successfully retained. McIntyre would only be the victim of a brutal attack by the Game, Triple H, who wanted revenge early on the WWE Champion. Triple H ended Capitol Punishment by throwing the WWE Champion off the stage and into tables and equipment! Smackdown's signature intro plays, followed by the pyro display! Michael Cole, Booker T, and Matt Striker welcome the fans to the show! They preview tonight's matches and the contract signing for Hell in a Cell at Summerslam, between WWE Champion, Drew McIntyre and Triple H! The bell sounds for the opening contest!

Replays from last week's Smackdown are shown, from when Randy Orton confronted Alex Riley and Damien Sandow about how Riley was an actual competitor, and a future star, just not some pet of Sandow's. Sandow had Riley challenge Orton to this match.

Match 1: Intercontinental Champion, Randy Orton vs. Alex Riley w/ Damien Sandow

Alex Riley's theme hits and he walks out with Damien Sandown to a lot of heat! Sandow taunts the crowd with small gestures as he enters the ring. Riley completely ignores the crowd. Randy Orton's theme hits! The Intercontinental Champion walks out to a huge pop! Sandow and Riley glare at Orton as he enters the ring. Orton holds his title up high, and Alex Riley takes the cheap way out and delivers a kick to Orton's mid section. The referee calls for the bell and the match is underway! Riley hammers away at Orton, but Orton mounts a come back and hits a powerslam on Riley out of no where! Orton lifts Riley to his feet and hits a Euorpean uppercut! Followed by 2 more! Riley falls into the corner and Orton grabs him and Irish whips him into the opposite corner! Orton charges and clotheslines Riley in the corner. Orton throws Alex Riley up on the top rope! Orton climbs the top rope and prepares to hit a superplex! But Damien Sandow climbs up on the apron! Orton kicks him away and down to the floor, but Riley takes advantage of the distraction and shoves Orton crashing to the canvas! Riley stands up on the top rope and leaps off splashing onto Orton! Riley hooks the leg! 1, 2, kickout!

Alex Riley gets Orton up and hits a neckbreaker! He goes for the cover again! 1, 2, kickout! Riley stomps away at Orton, but Orton eventually gets to his feet. Riley runs at him and Orton dips his shoulder hitting a back body drop on Riley! Orton taunts Riley to get up, and as Riley gets to his feet, Orton hits his signature back breaker! Damien Sandow is throwing a fit and yell at Riley to get up! Orton taunts Sandow, and Sandow out of rage tries to enter the ring, but Orton drop kicks him off the apron! Alex Riley starts to stagger to his feet, and Orton leaps up for the RKO! Riley shoves Orton away however and rolls him up! 1, 2, kickout! Both men get up at the same time and Riley goes for a drop kick! Orton shoves him down. Riley quickly gets up and Orton hits a drop kick of his own! Riley uses the ropes to get up and Orton turns him around connecting with the RKO! 1, 2, 3!

Winner by Pinfall: Intercontinental Champion, Randy Orton

As Orton is announced the winner, Damien Sandow enters the ring with Orton's Intercontinental Title in hand! Orton turns and Sandow blasts him in the head with it! Alex Riley gets to his feet and lifts Orton up. Riley hits his finisher on Orton. Damien Sandown holds the Intercontinental Title high and stands over Orton as Smackdown goes to it's first commercial break!

Smackdown returns from commercial and replays what just happened moments ago between Randy Orton, Alex Riley, and Damien Sandow. Michael Cole hypes up the contract signing between Triple H, and WWE Champion, Drew McIntyre later tonight.

RAW Rebound airs.

Match 2: Kaitlyn vs. Rosa Mendes

Kaitlyn comes out first to a nice pop. Rosa comes out next to a good amount of heat. She has a microphone in hand. She states that Primo and Epico will envoke their rematch clause for the WWE Tag Team Championships at Summerslam. She says that they challenge Ezekiel Jackson and Sin Cara to an Elimination Match! Rosa enters the ring and the bell sounds. They lock up, and Kaitlyn with the strength advantage side slams Rosa! Kaitlyn goes for the cover. 1, 2, kickout! Kaitlyn lifts Rosa to her feet, but Rosa lowers her shoulder and rams Kaitlyn into the corner! Rosa throws an elbow catching Kaitlyn in the jaw. Rosa drags Kaitlyn out of the corner and hits a DDT! Rosa goes for the cover! 1, 2, kickout! Rosa gets Kaitlyn to her feet and puts her in a sleeper hold! Kaitlyn quickly escapes and flips Rosa over her. Rosa staggers to her feet and Kaitlyn lifts her for a scoop slam! Rosa however slips behind Kaitlyn and rolls her up! Rosa pulls on Kaitlyn's attire for extra leverage! 1, 2, 3!

Rosa quickly exits the ring and grabs a microphone. Kaitlyn sits on her knees with a bummed facial expression as Rosa runs up the ramp. Rosa claims that is exactly how the Tag Team Title match will end at Summerslam, with Epico and Primo walking out on top! Rosa dances at the top of the stage as cameras cut backstage!

CM Punk is standing by with Josh Mathews! Josh asks Punk on his thoughts on the Gold Rush Tournament, and if he thinks he can win it. CM Punk says the Gold Rush creates opprotunity, and it's anyones to win! CM Punk says his opponent in the tournament Monday is none other than Daniel Bryan! Just then, Daniel Bryan walks up to Punk. Daniel Bryan tells Punk that he is right, anyone can win, but as long as Daniel Bryan is in the tournament, only he can win! Bryan claims that he will make Punk tap out tonight, when they square off for their tournament match up!

Match 3: Chris Jericho vs. Camacho w/ Hunico

Camacho is already in the ring as cameras cut to ringside. The lights dim and Chris Jericho's theme hits! Y2J walks out to a huge pop! Jericho enters the ring and the bell sounds! The two circle the ring for a moment before locking up. Camacho gets a waist lock on Jericho, but Jericho quickly breaks free and hits a back suplex! Jericho lifts Camacho up and throws him into the ropes! Camacho ducks a clothesline, but runs into an elbow! Jericho runs to the ropes and hits a Lionsault! Jericho lifts Camacho up and hits the Code Breaker! Jericho lifts Camacho's legs and locks in the Walls of Jericho! Camacho instantly taps!

Winner by Submission: Chris Jericho

Jericho refuses to let go of the hold! Hunico enters the ring and tackles Jericho off of Camacho. Hunico gets Jericho to his feet, but Jericho throws a big right hand and follows up with a Code Breaker laying Hunico out! Jericho grabs a microphone. He says he couldn't help but laugh when he saw Punk and Bryan bickering back and forth on who was going to win the Gold Rush Tournament. Jericho says it's easy, the era of Chris Jericho will once again rise! Jericho drops his microphone and heads to the back as Smackdown goes to commercial.

Match 4: Alberto Del Rio vs. Justin Gabriel

Alberto comes out first to a huge amount of boos. Justin Gabriel comes out next to a nice pop. Del rio grabs a microphone and tells Gabriel to get out of the ring because he shouldn't have to face him because Gabriel has been eliminated from Gold Rush. Justin Gabriel pretends to go to exit the ring, but comes back with a spinning wheel kick! The bell sounds! Gabriel begins hammering away on Del Rio! Alberto Del Rio tries to battle back, but Gabriel keeps up the offense! Gabriel goes for a Irish whip, but Del Rio counters into one of his own! Gabriel comes off the ropes hitting a cross body! He goes for the cover! 1, 2, kickout! Gabriel gets Del Rio to his feet, but Del Rio rakes Gabriel's eyes! Del Rio tries for the Cross Arm Breaker, but Gabriel grabs the ropes. Alberto Del Rio hits a running knee to the gut! Del Rio goes for the cover. 1, 2, kickout! Del Rio gets Gabriel to his feet, but Gabriel out of no where connects with a drop kick! Del Rio nearly falls out of the ring! Gabriel runs and clotheslines Del Rio to the outside!

Gabriel hops to the outside as well! Ricardo Rodriguez tries to distract Gabriel, but Gabriel drops him with a right hand! Gabriel turns his attentions back to Del Rio. Alberto Del Rio tries to grab a chair, but Gabriel stops him from grabbing it! Gabriel throws Del Rio back into the ring and climbs the top rope! Gabriel goes for the 450 Splash but misses! Del Rio quickly snatches Gabriel's arm and locks in the Cross Arm Breaker! Justin Gabriel tries to fight it and reach the ropes, but after a few moments of the hold being locked in, Justin Gabriel caves to the pain and taps out!

Winner by Submission: Alberto Del Rio

Del Rio has his arm raised in victory and Ricardo enters the ring holding his jaw from Gabriel's punch earlier on in the match. Del Rio grabs a microphone and tells Gabriel that he told him he should have just went to the back, and to let the real tournament competitors do their thing! Del Rio locks in the Cross Arm Breaker again on Gabriel. Security and referees run to the ring and have to pull Del Rio off of Justin Gabriel. Del Rio heads to the back with a smirk on his face as Gabriel holds his arm in pain in the ring. Smackdown goes to commercial.

Main Event: Gold Rush Tournament, CM Punk vs. Daniel Bryan

CM Punk comes out first to a fantastic pop! Daniel Bryan comes out next to a big mixed reaction with mostly boos. The bell sounds. The two circle the ring and engage in a stare down. Daniel Bryan shoves Punk. Punk shoves back! Bryan goes for a kick to the head, but Punk ducks and throws a kick of his own! Bryan ducks Punks kick, but Punk drop kicks Bryan! Punk lifts Bryan up and throws a few chops to the chest before throwing him into the ropes! CM Punk hits a hip toss and goes for the cover! 1, 2, kickout! CM punk lifts Bryan up, and Bryan gets a knee to the gut on Punk! Daniel Bryan throws Punk into the corner! Bryan runs at him and drop kicks him in the corner! Punk staggers out of the corner and Bryan rolls him up! 1, 2, kickout! Daniel Bryan goes for the Yes Lock! Punk quickly rolls out of it and pushes Bryan into a pinning attempt! 1, 2, kickout! Both get to their feet at the same time and exchange blows! Punk begins getting the best of Bryan and he forces him into the corner! CM Punk hits a running knee followed up by a bulldog! CM Punk hooks the leg! 1, 2, kickout!

CM Punk gets to his feet. He stalks Bryan as he gets up. Daniel Bryan turns around, and CM Punk slams him down for the Anaconda Vice! Before Punk can lock it in, Bryan grabs the ropes which causes Punk to release the hold! Bryan slips under the ropes to the outside. Punk goes after him, but Daniel Bryan trips him up on the apron! Daniel Bryan re-enters the ring and tries to steal a pin! 1, 2, kickout! Daniel Bryan heads to the top rope and dives for the head butt! CM Punk rolls out of the way! Punk crawls over Bryan and goes for the cover! 1, 2, kickout! Both get up at the same time, but need the ropes to get to their feet! Punk goes for a right hand, but Daniel Bryan gets in a swift kick to the head first! Punk falls to the mat and Daniel Bryan falls on top of him! 1, 2, kickout! Daniel Bryan lifts Punk up and shoves him into the corner! Daniel Bryan charges at him and goes for a drop kick in the corner again! This time Punk dives out of the way! Bryan crashes and burns. CM Punk pulls Bryan out of the corner and climbs the top rope! Punk hits the Macho Man elbow drop! CM Punk goes for the win! 1, 2, kickout!

CM Punk gets to his feet and calls for the GTS! Daniel Bryan staggers to his feet. Punk goes to hoist him up, but Bryan grabs Punk's arm and takes him down! Daniel Bryan locks in the Yes Lock! CM Punk rolls through and locks in the Anaconda Vice! Daniel Bryan fights through the pain for a few moments and he then rolls threw locking in the Yes Lock again! Punk rolls through again and locks in the Anaconda Vice! Daniel Bryan again rolls through! This time Punk gets out of the hold. Daniel Bryan gets to his feet and CM Punk hits a kick to the head! Daniel Bryan falls into his grasp and Punk connects with the GTS! CM Punk hooks the leg! 1, 2, kickout! Punk can't believe it! He lifts Bryan up for another GTS! Daniel Bryan lands behind him and rolls him up! 1, 2, kickout! Daniel Bryan goes for the Yes Lock again! CM Punk tries to roll through it again, but Daniel Bryan turns it into a small package! 1, 2, 3!

Daniel Bryan gets to his feet and is anounced the winner! CM Punk looks shocked as he gets to his feet. Punk meets him center of the ring and the two have a stare down. Punk puts his hand out and Daniel Bryan takes a moment, but he shakes Punk's hand which generates a big amount of cheers! CM Punk claps for Bryan before exiting the ring and heading to the back. Daniel Bryan yells out "YES" chants as Smackdown goes to commercial.

The contract signing for Hell in a Cell at Summerslam between the WWE Champion, Drew McIntyre and Triple H is next!

~Commercial~

Smackdown returns from commercial with a table and 2 chairs set up in the ring. The music of Smackdown General Manager, Theodore Long hits! Teddy Long comes out to a nice reaction. He has the contract. He grabs a microphone and introduces the Game, Triple H! Triple H comes out to a huge pop! As he makes his way down the ramp, Drew McIntyre rushes down the ramp and smashes his WWE Championship in the back of Triple H's head! McIntyre begins beating down Triple H on the outside! Teddy begs for McIntyre to stop. McIntyre throws Triple H into the steel steps! McIntyre enters the ring and grabs a microphone. He says that he won't stop, he won't ever stop. He says that Triple H is getting exactly what he deserves because of his actions toward McIntyre at Capitol Punishment! McIntyre heads to the outside and smashes Triple's face off the stairs 5 times! Triple H is busted wide open! McIntyre slides back into ring and grabs the contract! McIntyre signs it and brings it to the outside. McIntyre grabs his microphone and tells Triple H that he wants him to sign it in a special way! McIntyre sets the contract down on the floor and Future Shocks Triple H onto the contract. McIntyre says now the match is sealed in blood.

Drew McIntyre tells Triple that he will get what's coming to him at Summerslam, and that this was just a small sample of whats to come! McIntyre goes to walk away, but he comes back and kneels down to Triple H. McIntyre says that he is glad that he put Stephanie McMahon in the hospital, and at Summerslam he will make sure Triple H lands in the bed next to her so that they may suffer together! McIntyre grabs his title and holds it high. He stands over a bloody Triple H as Smackdown goes off the air.

WWE Monday Night RAW 7-16-12

RAW opens up with highlights of all of the Gold Rush Round One matches that took place last week on RAW, and Smackdown! The First Round will come to a close tonight! Also tonight, Kane will go one on one with Tensai! Michael Cole and Jerry "The King" Lawler welcome the fans to tonight's show! The bell sounds for the opening contest!

Match 1: Gold Rush Tournament, Zack Ryder vs. Alberto Del Rio

Zack Ryder makes his way out first to a huge pop! Alberto Del Rio's theme hits and he walks out onto the stage, he looks like a man on a mission as he enters the ring. The bell sounds. The two circle the ring and lock up! Del Rio goes for a waist lock, but Ryder counters and hits a Russian leg sweep! Ryder goes for the first cover! 1, 2, kickout! Del Rio quickly gets to his feet and throws an elbow, but Ryder ducks it. Del Rio turns into a drop kick, which sends him through the ropes! Ryder taunts Del Rio and gets a big pop! Del Rio gets back into the ring and he eats another drop kick! Ryder goes for the cover. 1, 2, kickout! Del Rio quickly gets to the outside again. Ryder heads to the outside after Del Rio, but Del Rio catches him off the apron and trips him up onto the floor below! Del Rio gets Ryder to his feet and throws him into the steel steps! Del Rio taunts Ryder's "Woo, Woo, Woo" and the fans give him very loud boos in response! Del Rio lifts Ryder up and rolls him back into the ring. Del Rio hooks the leg. 1, 2, kickout! Del Rio gets Ryder to his feet and scoop slams him. Del Rio goes off the ropes and drops a knee across Ryder's chest and goes for the cover! 1, 2, kickout!

Del Rio gets Ryder to his feet, and Ryder quickly places Del Rio in a small package! 1, 2, kickout! Del Rio quickly gets up and hits a running knee on Ryder! Del Rio lifts Ryder up and throws him into the corner. Del Rio backs up and charges at Ryder. Ryder gets a boot in Del Rio's face! Ryder hops up onto the top rope and hits a flying cross body! Ryder hooks the leg! 1, 2, kickout! Both men get to their feet and exchange blows, Ryder begins to get the best of Del Rio! Ryder goes for a big punch, but Del Rio ducks and hits a swinging neckbreaker out of no where! Del Rio gets up and waves his finger, and laughs. The fans boo Del Rio as he calls for the Cross Arm Breaker! Ryder gets to his feet and Del Rio takes him down and locks it in center of the ring! Ryder tries to fight it, and he almost taps! Ryder rolls out of it and Del Rio gets to his feet. Del Rio grabs Ryder and throws him into the ropes, Ryder comes back out of no where and connects with the Rough Ryder! Zack Ryder goes for the cover! 1, 2, 3!

Zack Ryder gets to his feet and is announced the winner! He poses on the top rope and celebrates his victory. Del Rio recovers and has a shocked look on his face as RAW goes to it's first commercial break.

RAW returns from commercial with Cole and King recapping Zack Ryder vs. Alberto Del Rio! Cameras cut backstage to the Divas Champion, AJ Lee. RAW GM, John Laurinatis approaches her and tells her that if Kane were to lose tonight, then her match against Tensai that never happened last week, will happen next week live on RAW! AJ rolls her eys and walks off. Laurinatis laughs and walks off.

The music of the United States Champion hits! The Miz walks out to a ton of boos! He enters the ring and grabs a microphone. Miz asks why he isn't involved in the Gold Rush Tournament. Miz reminds everyone on how he was the number one must see WWE Champion of all time. He is cut off by the music of Kofi Kingston! Miz tells Kofi to get out of the ring, and that no one cares about him. Miz also tells Kofi that his title reign wasn't even relevant to his? He asks how long Kofi held the WWE Title, and Miz tells him not to answer that because a month and a half shouldn't even be considered a title reign. Kofi shakes his head and leaps into the air and connects with Trouble In Paradise! Kofi picks up the microphone and tells Miz that next week on RAW 1000, he better be able to back up the talk, because Miz will be defending his United States Championship against Kofi Kingston! Kofi drops the microphone and holds up the United States Title. He gets a big pop as RAW goes to commercial.

Match 2: Seth Rollins vs. Tyler Reks

Seth Rollins comes out to a big pop! He slaps hands with the fans at ringside before entering the ring. Tyler Reks is already in the ring. The bell sounds. They lock up and Reks, and Reks goes for a dirty elbow! Rollins ducks and hits a back drop! Tyler Reks quickly gets up and Seth Rollins hits him with a suplex! Seth Rollins gets to his feet and climbs to the top rope! Reks makes it to his feet and Rollins hits an axe handle! Reks collapses and Rollins goes for the cover. 1, 2, kickout! Seth Rollins calls for Tyler Reks to get up, but he is grabbed from behind! Mason Ryan nearly takes Seth Rollins' head off with a vicious clothesline!

Winner by DQ: Seth Rollins

Mason Ryan lifts Tyler Reks up and hits a huge spinebuster! Mason Ryan grabs a microphone. He talks about how he won in the first round of Gold Rush, and that next week on RAW 1000, he takes on MVP in round two! Mason Ryan says that he'd like to preview MVP's fate. Ryan drops the microphone and hoists Seth Rollins up for a powerbomb, but MVP storms the ring. He and Ryan exchange blows, but MVP gets him backed up to the ropes, and MVP clotheslines him over the top rope to the outside! Mason Ryan looks on with a furious face as he heads up the ramp. MVP helps Rollins to his feet and RAW goes to commercial.

Match 3: Kane vs. Tensai w/ Sakamoto

Tenasi comes out first to a ton of heat. Kane's pyro goes off and he comes out to a big pop! As Kane is about half way down the ramp, Divas Champion, AJ Lee emerges on the stage and walks down the ramp to be in Kane's corner. Kane enters the ring and the bell sounds. Kane and Tensai lock up and stalemate! Tensai stikres Kane with a big right hand. Kane returns with a huge upper cut! Tensai nearly loses his balence, but Kane drops him with a big boot! Kane goes for the cover! 1, 2, kickout! Kane lifts Tensai to his feet and goes for a powerslam, but Tensai slips off his shoulders and lands behind him. Tensai clotheslines Kane in the back and takes him down. Tensai gets Kane to his feet and throws lefts and rights, backing Kane into the corner. Tensai tries to Irish whip Kane into the opposite corner, but Kane counters into one of his own! Kane charges at Tensai, but Tensai runs out of the corner and side slams Kane! Tensai goes for the cover! 1, 2, kickout! Kane gets to his feet, and Tensai drops him with a powerslam! Tensai poses and taunts the crowd, and turns back to Kane, who sits up! Tensai has a shocked look, but he goes to boot Kane. Kane catches his foot and shoves him back. Kane gets to his feet and Tensai runs at him. Kane grabs him by the throat! Tensai fights out of Kane's grasp and throws him into the turnbuckle head first! Kane staggers out of the turnbuckle in to a big shoulder ram! Tensai goes for the cover! 1, 2, kickout! Tensai gets Kane to his feet again, and Kane comes back with another uppercut, followed by two more! Kane hits a side walk slam on Tensai and heads to the top rope! Sakamoto climbs the apron and tries to distract Kane! But Kane boots him off! Sakamoto gets up and grabs AJ! He threatens to hurt her. Kane turns his attention to them, taking his eye off of Tensai! Tensai gets to his feet and grabs Kane by the throat with both hands! Tensai hits a big plunge off the top rope and he goes for the cover! 1, 2, 3!

As Tensai is announced the winner, John Laurinatis appears on the titantron! Laurinatis tells AJ that it's official. She'll take on Tensai next week on RAW 1000! AJ looks scared for her life as Tensai gives her a vicious glare. Tensai and Sakamoto leave, and AJ helps Kane to his feet as RAW goes to commercial.

Match 4: Gold Rush Tournament, Wade Barrett vs. Rey Mysterio

Wade Barrett makes his way out first to a ton of heat! He ignores the crowd as he enters the ring. Rey comes out to a thunderous pop! The bell sounds. Rey uses his quickness to his advantage and gets quick strikes in on Barrett! Barrett catches Rey after a moment of Rey getting away, Rey slips out of his grasp and hits a head scissors! Rey goes for the cover. 1, 2, kickout! Rey gets Barrett to his feet, and Barrett rakes Rey's eyes! Barrett big boots Rey and goes for the cover. 1, 2, kickout! Barrett lifts Rey up and goes for Wasteland! Rey counters and drop kicks Barrett into the middle rope! Rey goes for 619 but Barrett gets up in time! Rey attempts a springboard and connects by hurricanranaing Barrett back into the ropes! Rey successfully hits the 619! He springboards and splashes onto Barrett, but Barrett gets his knees up! Barrett gets to his feet and rips Mysterio up! He throws him hard into the corner and Rey falls back down. Barrett gets him up and throws lefts and rights in the corner. Barrett hits a suplex out of the corner and goes for the cover. 1, 2, kickout! Barrett taunts and gets a lot of heat directed toward him. He laughs at the fans. Barrett lifts Mysterio up and goes for Wasteland again, Rey rolls behind him and rolls him up! 1, 2, kickout! Wade Barrett gets to his feet and Rey catches him with a drop kick! Rey goes for another pin! 1, 2, kickout! Rey starts to dominate the match! But as Rey comes off the top rope, Barrett catches him up on his shoulders and hits the Wasteland! 1, 2, 3!

Wade Barrett is announced the winner and he advances onto Round Two!

The World Heavyweight Champion, Christian! Christian states that he doesn't care who wins this tournament, because the results will be the same. He will walk out still World Champion! Christian talks about how at one point in his career he has probably defeated every participant! Sheamus approaches the World Champion and tells him that he just left Laurinatis' office. Next week Sheamus will go one on one with Christian in street fight to settle their differences once and for all. Christian looks scared as cameras cut back to ringside.

Main Event: John Cena & MVP vs. Dolph Ziggler & World Heavyweight Champion, Christian

In a great back and forth tag team match, Cena and MVP got the win when Cena hit the AA on Ziggler! Christian bailed on Ziggler in the middle of the match when Sheamus appeared up on the stage.

Monday Night RAW 1000 News 7-23-12

Past WWE Superstars, Divas, Legends, Hall of Famers, and many more will be appearing on the show to celebrate RAW's 1000th episode! Also, the World Heavyweight Champion, Christian and Sheamus will end their rivalry in a Street Fight! All superstars from RAW and Smackdown will be appearing live, and Round Two of the Gold Rush Tournament will begin!
