The pyro goes off for the first edition of WWE NXT! We feature 9 rookies and 9 WWE pro's this season should not disappoint at all! The fans are going wild as they hear some wild superstars have signed to be part of this years competition to determine the next breakout star. They holds up various signs as the fireworks stop and Striker is in the ring holding a microphone.

Matt Striker: Welcome ladies and gentlemen to another season of WWE NXT. Like in the past it will NOT disappoint! In the past we have done various competitions and challenges and the rookies AND pro's have competed in. It's been a wild ride and we promise to bring it back to your television sets! Without further a due, let me introduce one by one your NXT ROOKIES!

He introduces the rookies names one by one as the theme plays in the background when Shark Boy enters last Striker finally starts to speak again.

There they are ladies and gentlemen! This seasons rookies, now before we start this night off, let me introduce the rookies and what they bring this year! After he's done introducing the rookies the fans give them a round of applause and they head to the back as the first match is announced!

Skip Sheffield w/ Triple H [v] Richie Steamboat w/ Alex Riley

--Start--

Both men are fired up at the beginning of the match both fighting it out evenly with no distractions from either corner surprisingly. Skip throws in some big kicks in the corner stunning Steamboat and then a big power bomb. Richie then responds by nailing various kicks and strike attacks sending Skip out to the outside landing on his pro Triple H. He then runs over to give Riley a high five and waits for him to get back in the ring as Triple H gives Skip a little pep talk.

--Middle--

Both men are on the ground, Richie at this point has Skip in a rear naked choke on the ground looking for the submission victory but he powers out and sends him flying across the ring, he then waits for him to get up nailing a big clothesline and only getting a two count from the ref. He then picks Richie up and has full momentum now as he lifts him up with both hands showing the power of skip and drops him with a thud. Richie is slow to get up Skip tries another clothesline but fails and Skip bounces off the rope and goes face first into a boot from Richie he only gets a two count. Now to the top rope and misses as skip rolls out of the way of a 450 splash.

Nearing the end of the match Riley is up on the mat with Skip having Richie in a headlock in the middle of the ring he lets go as Skip goes face to face with Riley, at this point Triple H is yelling at the top of his lungs for Skip to get back to focus on the match Richie then fakes a poke to the eye while the ref is turned Riley low blows Skip and hops off just as the ref turns around Richie nails a superkick and Skip falls hard and Richie capitalizes for the pin and wins the match.

A chilly night in Jacksonville as we see in the back Bobby Rude is getting a pep talk from the veteran Edge and teaching him some moves to get ready for tonight's main event against Keenan James Sterling. After that Sterling enters the room and tells Roode that he doesn't need to break a sweat in their match that he knows this competition is already in his grasp.

(Christmas Trivia Game Show)

All men are in the ring standing behind podiums like in Jeopardy and stare at Matt Striker who will explain the rules

"All men will have 30 seconds to write down their answer after I give them a Christmas Trivia question. If you get it wrong please step out of the ring. The superstar who is victorious will recieve a point in the standings. Ready please approach the podium."

All men step up Striker reads the first question
"Their is a reindeer on of Santas with his name starting with a 'B' who is it?"

All mens answers have been revealed and Striker tells them that Skip, Sterling, and Shark Boy & Shelton have all been eliminated and are asked to step out of the ring, as security escort Skip out of the ring to the back for dis respectable behaviour towards fans we head into our commercial break with 4 stars remaining

We are back with NXT live from Jacksonville Florida and the 4 remaining participants are behind their podium with 4 out. The next question is asked.

Once again Striker announces the losers and they step out of the ring showing the fans some love and then Striker says that Roode and Steamboat are the only two left and this is the final question. He asks.

The results are in and Striker announces that Steamboat wins the first competition and gets one point! He celebrates in the ring and as he turns around Roode nails a big boot which sends him out of the ring as we head to another commercial break

We come back from the commercial with 4 superstars in the ring as Husky Harris teams up with Sharkboy to take on the team of Carlito and Benjamin

Harris & Sharkboy [v] Carlito & Benjamin

--Start--

At the beginning all men are in the ring for this old fashioned tornado tag team bout. Benjamin quickly goes after Harris and lands some kicks and punches to his sides. While in the meantime Sharkboy flies at Carlito who dodges the attack and Sharkboy hits the turnbuckle hard collapsing to the mat. Carlito picks him up and nails a flap jack and only gets a two count when Harris moves away from Benjamin breaking it up. Harris whips Carlito into the Turnbuckle and runs at him only to get a boot to the face.

--Middle--

At this point all men are outside beating on each other after a replay is show of Benjamins signature running off the ropes and flying out of the ring landing on EVERYONE including his own partner. Harris is working on Carlito's left leg while Benjamin throws Sharkboy into the ring. Carlito struggles out of this ankle hold and slams Harris's head onto the announce table. Meanwhile in the ring Sheltons getting momentum and hitting flying forearms and then goes on the top turnbuckle and hits a moonsault The ref looks at Sharkboy if he's okay not paying attention to the outside!

Outside the ring Husky capitalizes on the opportunity and pulls out a pair of brass knuckles and nails Carlito knocking him out cold as Shelton gets up and looks at Husky along with the ref trying to take the knuckles away from him Benjamin then turns to Sharkboy who has his own pair and knocks him in the head and go's for the pin Husky then drops the knuckles and points to the mat where the ref counts the 3 fall.

After the match we are seen in the back as Skip is still outraged by his loss of the competition. He walks by people tipping tables and everything then meanwhile Sterling is talking to his pro Miz and he yells at him then tells him to get into focus on tonight's big main event where he has to show his stuff as we cut to another commercial break.

Nearing the end of the night close to the main event The Awesome one heads down to the ring for an announcement with his rookie James Sterling.

He stands in the ring with a cocky smirk with the mic to his lips

"Enough, cut the chatter. All you pathetic and worthless people came down here tonight to watch this unfold? This show they call NXT, and I was selected to be a pro for a reason. You know why? Because I AM the WWE champion, and I know that me and James here will go to the end. I have made Daniel Bryan what he is today, and that's Because IM THE MIZ..... AND IMMM AWESOOOOOOOOOOMEEE!"

His theme cuts off to where it left off and they wait as Edge's theme hits as his rookie Bobby Roode is set to face off against Keenan in this main event... NEXT!

Sterling James Keenan w/ Miz [v] Bobby Roode w/ Edge

--Start--

At the start of the match Keenan goes right after Roode doing everything the Miz tells him to do in his corner as he shouts instructions Edge glares at him from a distance knowing Roodes got this. Keenan has Roode in a headlock as he then whips him into the rope and puts his head down to go for a flapjack but gets booted in the face by Roode. Roode now grabs Keenan by the back and hits 3 backdrops in a row! then only gets the 2 fall. The fans aww in excitement. Keenan gets up rather quickly and nails various combinations of kicks and punches that send Roode into stunned mode then James goes up on the turnbuckles and hits a dropkick on Roode then gets a one fall didn't do much damage. Roode gets picked up by Keenan only to release the headlock he has with some elbows to the gut then runs on the ropes ducking one clothesline attempt then nailing a big boot OH! Then getting a nearfall at 2. Roode picks up Keenan and throws him to the outside where his pro Miz glares at Keenan picking him up and throwing him back into the ring with Roode string intently at Keenan on the ground

--Middle-

At this moment Keenan has control now with a distraction by Miz during break and has him in the corner landing some big shots the the face then moves back and lands a huge splash putting Roode down he drags him to the middle of the ring and runs off the rope and hits a classic Hulk Hogan style leg drop. Then goes for the count but gets 2. He picks him up again hitting a few slaps to the face and throws him to the corner and gets a boot as he runs for another splash Roode then capitalizes and goes on the top rope hitting a half a 5 star frog splash what athleticism! He only gets a 2 count.

At the dying moments of the match Keeenan has fans on his side and so does Roode, Keenan has Roode in another headlock in the middle of the ring Roode dodges and goes off the rope to get distracted by Miz who is on the mat. He tries to catch him but he quickly jumps off then Keenan capitalizes jumping on Roodes back and initiating a sleeper hold for 15 seconds Roodes arm is lifted and just about to get to the 3 one he keeps it up and elbows Keenan off himself and throws big shots building momentum nearing the end soon. He runs and hits everything he's got in his arsenal. Edge then enters the ring while the ref begs for him to get out he taps Roode on the back. Roode Turns around and yells at him to get out of the ring. Edge doesn't listen. While Roode is distracted by his OWN pro Sterling hits his MK ULTRA piledriver and goes for the pin.

After the match Edge leaves the ring starting to head to the back. Meanwhile Miz and Sterling James Keenan enter with malicious intent of destroying Roode, and start pounding on him. Edge turns around and sprints to the ring. He starts by cleaning house and takes James out of the ring throwing him as he hits the barrier hard and goes down. Roode gets up slowly Miz doesn't notice Edge as he turns he moves back scared. Roode gets up holding his head extending his hand to his pro for saving him Edge then Nails and Edge-cu-tion then Roode is pain and rolls out of the ring. Miz then tries to take out Edge with a skull-crushing finale! But Edge counters and goes off the rope and HITS A SPEAR SPEAR SPEAR!!!! His theme hits as we end the first edition of NXT with a bang Edge calls out to Miz while he's on the ground and he leaves putting a fake belt around his waist pose saying he'll be the next WWE champion as the show goes off air with Edges theme playing in the back.

NXT comes back from the commercial break, ready for the next match.

Richie Steamboat and Shelton Benjamin versus Carlito and Husky Harris
Winners will receive 1 NXT point.
In an epic tag team match, these new faces managed to co-exist together, to pull out a awesome match. Richie Steamboat nailed Carlito in the gut, and hit the ropes, taking him down with a quick Hurricanronia. Both men crawled towards their tag team partners, to get a tag. Richie quickly jumped to one leg and tagged in Shelton, as Carlito leaped and got the tag in to Husky. Husky came in and dominated Shelton for most of the match. Shelton was taken down, feeling the effects from one of Husky's splashes. Husky picked Shelton back up to his feet, and nailed him with two knees to the gut. Husky Harris then nails Shelton with an irish whip into the ropes, but Shelton comes back to take Harris down with a dropkick. Shelton then jumps over, and tags in Richie, who dives off the turnbuckle, nailing Harris, with a Splash of his own. Richie goes for a cover, but suddenly, Carlito runs in, and drags Richie off of Harris. Carlito kicks Richie in the gut, as Shelton comes running in to take Carlito out. Carlito though, holds down the ropes, causing the Golden Standard to flip to the outside. Carlito then pulled himself back to his base, and nailed Richie Steamboat with a quick Backstabber! Carlito then got on the outside, as the referee restored order. This allowed Husky Harris to crawl over, and get the cover!

Backstage, Alex Riley meets up with Richie Steamboat, and tells him that he will get them next time. Richie Steamboat thanks Riley, and Riley tells Steamboat that next week, the Main Event is rumored to be a 8-Man Tag Team Match. Riley is going to talk to Matt Striker, in getting himself and Richie in that match. Richie then meets up with Shelton Benjamin backstage, and the two talk about their great points. They both thank each other, and move on. Shelton Benjamin continues to walk down the hallway, as his pro, Chris Jericho stops him. Chris Jericho says that Shelton better step up his game, before next week, because if he loses again next week. There will be hell to pay!

Backstage The Miz is pacing back and forth, plotting his revenge against Rhoode and Edge. Sterling tells Miz that he is glad that The Miz is his pro, but he isn't going to be Miz's lacky. The Miz tells Sterling that he will do what The Miz says, or else Sterling won't continue on NXT. Sterling just sits down and shuts up.

Meanwhile, Edge is explaining to Rhoode that he was late, because his limo driver had no clue where to go. Rhoode thanks Edge anyway for coming to his aid. Edge said that he is responsible for Rhoode, while here on NXT. Matt Striker then knocks on the door and enters. He says that The Main Event is NEXT! So, they better be ready. NXT then goes to the final commercial break.

Matt Striker then appears and says that instead of the Main Event being a 8-Man Tag Team Match, we will have;
Bobby Rhoode w/ Edge versus Sterling James Keenan w/ The Miz
Also, we will have our First Rookie versus Pro Match;
Skip Sheffield versus Chris Jericho

We cut back to the ring, ready for our Main Event.

The Miz & Sterling James Keenan versus Edge & Bobby Rhoode
Winning Team's Rookie will receive 2 NXT points.
In a Main Event to be beaten, this Tag Team Match was Awesome, to say the least. When SJK managed to knock Edge off of the apron, everyone though it was over, and The Miz and SJK had won the match, but they were wrong. At the last minute, Edge slid back into the ring and took SJK down with a quick SPEAR! This left Miz, leaned against the turnbuckle. Edge helped Rhoode to his feet, and told him to be ready. Edge then stalked for a Spear on The Miz. Edge ran for the finishing touch on the match, The Miz managed to side step it, sending Edge straight into the turnbuckle, and outside of the ring. The Miz would then quickly snap Rhoode with a swift boot, and lock him in, connecting a Skull Crushing Finale! Since, The Miz was not the legal man, he left it up to his Rookie, Sterling James Keenan to get the win. Miz jumped to the outside, to stop Edge, while Sterling climbed the turnbuckle. Sterling jumped off, nailing Rhoode with an elbow. Sterling then covered Rhoode for the win!
Winners - The Miz & Sterling James Keenan

After the Match, The Miz slid back into the ring, trying to get all of the glory for the teams win. SJK didn't like this, and distracted Miz, long enough for Edge to get to his feet and back into the ring, stalking for another Spear. Miz and Sterling both turned at the same time, and Edge ran, to get his revenge, but SJK pushed his Pro, The Miz into Edge, causing Miz to be taken out by a vicious SPEAR! SJK quickly left the ring, and head to the back, while Edge helped Rhoode to his feet. Rhoode and Edge looked down at The Miz, then raised their arms high in the air, as NXT goes off the air.

Matt Striker started things off tonight, bringing out all of the NXT Rookies. First, he introduced Carlito, Sterling James Keenan, Shelton Benjamin and Richie Steamboat. He said that all the other Rookies will have to be on watch, as Sterling will hold nothing back, with The Miz as his Pro. This left one man, Pro-less. Bobby Rhoode stood in the middle on the ring. The Miz called him out, and said that Edge doesn't want to be here, to put up with him. Rhoode ended up slapping The Miz, which broke into a huge battle. Sterling attacked Rhoode, leaving him helpless in the ring. Matt Striker finally restored order. Telling the fans that tonights Main Event will be The Miz and his Rookie, Sterling James Keenan, against Bobby Rhoode and his Pro, The Rated R Superstar, Edge!

We then cut over to Cody Rhodes, who is sitting on a crate with his hood covering his face. Shark Boy comes up behind him and taps him on the shoulder. Shark Boy asks Rhodes why he is so strange. Rhodes tells Shark Boy that he hides behind a protective mask, for different reasons then Shark Boy would think. Shark Boy hides behind the mask because he is ugly, Rhodes has a reason. Rhodes says that it will only take Rhodes 2 seconds to snap Shark Boy into injury, so he better smarten up. Rhodes then notifies Shark Boy that he is in action. Next.

Shark Boy versus Skip Sheffield
Winner will receive 1 Point.
Shark Boy and Skip Sheffield had the first match in the spotlight for NXT. Both men can say that they held their own, in the match. Skip Sheffield tried everything to take Shark Boy down, but Shark Boy wouldn't stay down. Shark Boy dove off the top turnbuckle, nailing Sheffield with a flying elbow shot, taking him down. The fans went insane as Shark Boy taunted for the match to be over. He stalked as Skip Sheffield began to crawl to his feet. Shark Boy kicked Sheffield in the gut as he got up, and went for his Chummer, but Sheffield pushes Shark Boy off, and took him out with a HUGE clothesline, to pick up the win!
Winner - Skip Sheffield (6:43)

Sheffield thanks his Pro for the comment. He goes to continue walking, when Triple H stops him. Triple H informs Sheffield that he will have another match Next Week, against a Pro, just to see exactly what he can do.

Matt Striker then is joined at the top of the ramp, as the NXT Rookies gather out onto the ramp. He introduces the Obstacle Course to every Rookie. He tells them exactly what they have to do. First, they must run down the ramp, pulling bags of sand that are in a wagon. Once at the bottom, they must run around the ring, stepping through the tires. They must jump the two walls, and do a pull-up on the bars. After, they must run into the ring, for 5 Push-ups. Then, they must exit closest to the ramp, and grab the wagon, pulling it back up the ramp, crossing the finish line. The winner, will receive 3 NXT points!
1st - Carlito
Carltio runs down the ramp, letting the wagon of sand fly down with him. Carlito quickly stops the wagon as he reaches the bottom, then runs around the ring, stepping through and hitting, all the tires. Carlito then runs down by the announcers table, and jumps over the first wall. He trys for the second, but its too tall. He stands back, and runs. Carlito then jumps the second wall, and runs up, jumping onto the poll and doing one pull-up. Carlito then slides into the ring and does the five push-ups. Carlito then rolls out of the ring, and drags the wagon up, for a total time of 2:48

2nd - Husky Harris
Husky Harris runs down the ramp, kicking the wagon as he runs. Harris, lets the wagon smash into the ramp, as he runs around, stepping through the tires. Husky then looks at the announcers. Harris then plows down the first wall, and then the second. The fans boo Harris as he yells at them, bashing them. Harris then slides into the ring, and looks at the clock, before rolling out of the ring, and heading back up the ramp, going right backstage.

Matt Striker announces that Husky Harris has been disqualified and our Leader is still Carlito with the time of 2:48!

3rd - Shark Boy
The buzzer goes, and Shark Boy runs down the ramp, forgetting about the wagon. he runs around and does all of the tires perfectly. Shark Boy then jumps over both walls, and does the pull-up. His time just reaches 1:14. Shark Boy quickly does the five push-ups ten runs up the ramp.

Matt Striker stops Shark Boy, and tells him that he forgot the wagon. Shark Boy's time would of been 1:32 but since he forgot the wagon, Shark Boy will be disqualified! Shark Boy gets pissed, and yells at Striker, as he leaves the ring area. NXT then goes to a commercial break.

4th - Shelton Benjamin
Shelton Benjamin pushes the wagon, and jumps on it, gliding it down the ramp. The fans cheer. Shelton then jumps out and runs around the ring, stepping through all of the tires, but one. Shelton restarts, and redoes all of the tires, getting everyone now. Shelton then continues on to jump over the walls. He runs over and does the pull-up for sliding into the ring, and doing the five push-ups, with one arm behind his back. Shelton then slides out of the ring, and begins to run up the ramp, but struggles with it. Shelton finally crosses the finish line!

Matt Striker looks at his watch, and is shocked. Shelton Benjamin's time was exactly 2:49 which means, he is now in 2nd, after losing by A SECOND. Benjamin is abit upset, but he stands next to Carlito, happy that atleast he finished the course.

5th - Richie Steamboat
The buzzer goes, and Richie Steamboat drags the wagon down the ramp. He quickly runs through the tires, and over the first, then second wall. Richie forgets the pull-up though, and slides straight into the ring. He does the five push-ups, then remembers what he forgot. Richie runs back outside, and does the pull-up, before running back in, and doing five more push-ups. He slides out and grabs the wagon, running it back up the ramp.

Matt Striker reveals Richie Steamboat's time. 2:53 Richie Steamboat is now in 3rd Place.

6th - Skip Sheffield
Skip Sheffield runs down the ramp, as the buzzer goes. He grabs the wagon and runs down the ramp. Sheffield goes through the tires, but trips and falls, causing him to re-start the tires. He does, and finally gets through them. Sheffield then jumps, one leg over another, over the two walls, and does the pull-up. Sheffield then slides into the ring, and does the five push-ups, before rolling out of the ring, and grabbing the wagon, dragging it up the ramp.

At the top, Matt Striker reveals his time. 2:56 The trip really cost Sheffield sometime. Sheffield gets disappointing, that he didn't even make it to third, nor second. Sheffield heads to the back.

7th - Sterling James Keenan
The buzzer goes and SJK kicks the wagon, so it glides down the ramp. Just then The Miz hollers in a microphone.

The Miz
"STERLING! STERLING! COME ON! WE HAVE A MATCH TO PREPARE FOR!"

Sterling stops in his tracks, and turns back, walking towards The Miz. They disappear backstage.

Matt Striker announces that Sterling has also been disqualified on account of The Miz. He reminds everyone that Carlito still owns the top position, while Shelton Benjamin is in second and Richie Steamboat is in third.

8th - Bobby Rhoode
The buzzer goes, and Rhoode sprints down the ramp, with the wagon, still feeling the effects of the beating he suffered from SJK. Rhoode still manages to run through the tires, and jump over the walls, but his time is getting up there. Rhoode quickly does the pull-up and slides into the ring, as his time reaches 2:00 Rhoode quickly does the push up, but on the last one, his arm gives out. Rhoode does the final push up, and slides out of the ring, grabbing the wagon. He pulls it up the ramp, as his time gets to 2:36 Rhoode is about half-way up the ramp, when he just can't take it. He falls down, but shakes his head, and pushes himself to cross the finish line. Finally Rhoode makes it!

Matt Striker reveals his time! 2:50 Bobby Rhoode didn't manage to win, but he is now in second. Matt Striker announces the Winner of the Course to be Carlito with a time of 2:48 Shelton Benjamin follows in second with a time of 2:49 and Bobby Rhoode scores a point, coming in third with a time of 2:50 The fans cheer, for these men, when suddenly, Sterling James Keenan and The Miz run out from the back, and attack Bobby Rhoode from behind. Shelton Benjamin and Carltio quickly get out of there, as the attack continues. The Miz and SJK get Rhoode down to the ring, and continue to brutally attack him. Suddenly, the fans emerge into cheers, as Edge runs down the ramp, and hits the ring, taking Miz out with a clothesline. Edge watches as Miz quickly scrambles out of the ring, calling SJK. SJK quickly turns around, but Edge takes him down with a boot. The Miz watches on, as Edge stalks in the corner. SJK quickly makes it too his feet, to be taken down with a SPEAR! Edge checks on Bobby Rhoode as The Miz pulls SJK out of the ring, and NXT goes to another commercial break.

Richie Steamboat and Shelton Benjamin versus Carlito and Husky Harris

In an epic tag team match, these new faces managed to co-exist together, to pull out a awesome match. Richie Steamboat nailed Carlito in the gut, and hit the ropes, taking him down with a quick Hurricanronia. Both men crawled towards their tag team partners, to get a tag. Richie quickly jumped to one leg and tagged in Shelton, as Carlito leaped and got the tag in to Husky. Husky came in and dominated Shelton for most of the match. Shelton was taken down, feeling the effects from one of Husky's splashes. Husky picked Shelton back up to his feet, and nailed him with two knees to the gut. Husky Harris then nails Shelton with an irish whip into the ropes, but Shelton comes back to take Harris down with a dropkick. Shelton then jumps over, and tags in Richie, who dives off the turnbuckle, nailing Harris, with a Splash of his own. Richie goes for a cover, but suddenly, Carlito runs in, and drags Richie off of Harris. Carlito kicks Richie in the gut, as Shelton comes running in to take Carlito out. Carlito though, holds down the ropes, causing the Golden Standard to flip to the outside. Carlito then pulled himself back to his base, and nailed Richie Steamboat with a quick Backstabber! Carlito then got on the outside, as the referee restored order. This allowed Husky Harris to crawl over, and get the cover!

Backstage The Miz is pacing back and forth, plotting his revenge against Rhoode and Edge. Sterling tells Miz that he is glad that The Miz is his pro, but he isn't going to be Miz's lacky. The Miz tells Sterling that he will do what The Miz says, or else Sterling won't continue on NXT. Sterling just sits down and shuts up.

Meanwhile, Edge is explaining to Rhoode that he was late, because his limo driver had no clue where to go. Rhoode thanks Edge anyway for coming to his aid. Edge said that he is responsible for Rhoode, while here on NXT. Matt Striker then knocks on the door and enters. He says that The Main Event is NEXT! So, they better be ready. NXT then goes to the final commercial break.

We cut back to the ring, ready for our Main Event.

The Miz & Sterling James Keenan versus Edge & Bobby Rhoode
Winning Team's Rookie will receive 2 NXT points.
In a Main Event to be beaten, this Tag Team Match was Awesome, to say the least. When SJK managed to knock Edge off of the apron, everyone though it was over, and The Miz and SJK had won the match, but they were wrong. At the last minute, Edge slid back into the ring and took SJK down with a quick SPEAR! This left Miz, leaned against the turnbuckle. Edge helped Rhoode to his feet, and told him to be ready. Edge then stalked for a Spear on The Miz. Edge ran for the finishing touch on the match, The Miz managed to side step it, sending Edge straight into the turnbuckle, and outside of the ring. The Miz would then quickly snap Rhoode with a swift boot, and lock him in, connecting a Skull Crushing Finale! Since, The Miz was not the legal man, he left it up to his Rookie, Sterling James Keenan to get the win. Miz jumped to the outside, to stop Edge, while Sterling climbed the turnbuckle. Sterling jumped off, nailing Rhoode with an elbow. Sterling then covered Rhoode for the win!
Winners - The Miz & Sterling James Keenan (14:26)

After the Match, The Miz slid back into the ring, trying to get all of the glory for the teams win. SJK didn't like this, and distracted Miz, long enough for Edge to get to his feet and back into the ring, stalking for another Spear. Miz and Sterling both turned at the same time, and Edge ran, to get his revenge, but SJK pushed his Pro, The Miz into Edge, causing Miz to be taken out by a vicious SPEAR! SJK quickly left the ring, and head to the back, while Edge helped Rhoode to his feet. Rhoode and Edge looked down at The Miz, then raised their arms high in the air, as NXT goes off the air.

Without further a due, let me introduce one by one your NXT ROOKIES!

He introduces the rookies names one by one as the theme plays in the background when Shark Boy enters last Striker finally starts to speak again.

There they are ladies and gentlemen! This seasons rookies, now before we start this night off, let me introduce the rookies and what they bring this year! After he's done introducing the rookies the fans give them a round of applause and they head to the back as the first match is announced!

Skip Sheffield w/ Triple H [v] Richie Steamboat w/ Alex Riley

--Start--

Both men are fired up at the beginning of the match both fighting it out evenly with no distractions from either corner surprisingly. Skip throws in some big kicks in the corner stunning Steamboat and then a big power bomb. Richie then responds by nailing various kicks and strike attacks sending Skip out to the outside landing on his pro Triple H. He then runs over to give Riley a high five and waits for him to get back in the ring as Triple H gives Skip a little pep talk.

--Middle--

Both men are on the ground, Richie at this point has Skip in a rear naked choke on the ground looking for the submission victory but he powers out and sends him flying across the ring, he then waits for him to get up nailing a big clothesline and only getting a two count from the ref. He then picks Richie up and has full momentum now as he lifts him up with both hands showing the power of skip and drops him with a thud. Richie is slow to get up Skip tries another clothesline but fails and Skip bounces off the rope and goes face first into a boot from Richie he only gets a two count. Now to the top rope and misses as skip rolls out of the way of a 450 splash.

Nearing the end of the match Riley is up on the mat with Skip having Richie in a headlock in the middle of the ring he lets go as Skip goes face to face with Riley, at this point Triple H is yelling at the top of his lungs for Skip to get back to focus on the match Richie then fakes a poke to the eye while the ref is turned Riley low blows Skip and hops off just as the ref turns around Richie nails a superkick and Skip falls hard and Richie capitalizes for the pin and wins the match.

All men step up Striker reads the first question

Once again Striker announces the losers and they step out of the ring showing the fans some love and then Striker says that Roode and Steamboat are the only two left and this is the final question. He asks.

The results are in and Striker announces that Steamboat wins the first competition and gets one point! He celebrates in the ring and as he turns around Roode nails a big boot which sends him out of the ring as we head to another commercial break

--Start--

At the beginning all men are in the ring for this old fashioned tornado tag team bout. Benjamin quickly goes after Harris and lands some kicks and punches to his sides. While in the meantime Sharkboy flies at Carlito who dodges the attack and Sharkboy hits the turnbuckle hard collapsing to the mat. Carlito picks him up and nails a flap jack and only gets a two count when Harris moves away from Benjamin breaking it up. Harris whips Carlito into the Turnbuckle and runs at him only to get a boot to the face.

--Middle--

At this point all men are outside beating on each other after a replay is show of Benjamins signature running off the ropes and flying out of the ring landing on EVERYONE including his own partner. Harris is working on Carlito's left leg while Benjamin throws Sharkboy into the ring. Carlito struggles out of this ankle hold and slams Harris's head onto the announce table. Meanwhile in the ring Sheltons getting momentum and hitting flying forearms and then goes on the top turnbuckle and hits a moonsault The ref looks at Sharkboy if he's okay not paying attention to the outside!

--End--

Outside the ring Husky capitalizes on the opportunity and pulls out a pair of brass knuckles and nails Carlito knocking him out cold as Shelton gets up and looks at Husky along with the ref trying to take the knuckles away from him Benjamin then turns to Sharkboy who has his own pair and knocks him in the head and go's for the pin Husky then drops the knuckles and points to the mat where the ref counts the 3 fall.

After the match we are seen in the back as Skip is still outraged by his loss of the competition. He walks by people tipping tables and everything then meanwhile Sterling is talking to his pro Miz and he yells at him then tells him to get into focus on tonight's big main event where he has to show his stuff as we cut to another commercial break.

Sterling James Keenan w/ Miz [v] Bobby Roode w/ Edge

--Start--

At the start of the match Keenan goes right after Roode doing everything the Miz tells him to do in his corner as he shouts instructions Edge glares at him from a distance knowing Roodes got this. Keenan has Roode in a headlock as he then whips him into the rope and puts his head down to go for a flapjack but gets booted in the face by Roode. Roode now grabs Keenan by the back and hits 3 backdrops in a row! then only gets the 2 fall. The fans aww in excitement. Keenan gets up rather quickly and nails various combinations of kicks and punches that send Roode into stunned mode then James goes up on the turnbuckles and hits a dropkick on Roode then gets a one fall didn't do much damage. Roode gets picked up by Keenan only to release the headlock he has with some elbows to the gut then runs on the ropes ducking one clothesline attempt then nailing a big boot OH! Then getting a nearfall at 2. Roode picks up Keenan and throws him to the outside where his pro Miz glares at Keenan picking him up and throwing him back into the ring with Roode string intently at Keenan on the ground

--Middle-

At this moment Keenan has control now with a distraction by Miz during break and has him in the corner landing some big shots the the face then moves back and lands a huge splash putting Roode down he drags him to the middle of the ring and runs off the rope and hits a classic Hulk Hogan style leg drop. Then goes for the count but gets 2. He picks him up again hitting a few slaps to the face and throws him to the corner and gets a boot as he runs for another splash Roode then capitalizes and goes on the top rope hitting a half a 5 star frog splash what athleticism! He only gets a 2 count.

At the dying moments of the match Keeenan has fans on his side and so does Roode, Keenan has Roode in another headlock in the middle of the ring Roode dodges and goes off the rope to get distracted by Miz who is on the mat. He tries to catch him but he quickly jumps off then Keenan capitalizes jumping on Roodes back and initiating a sleeper hold for 15 seconds Roodes arm is lifted and just about to get to the 3 one he keeps it up and elbows Keenan off himself and throws big shots building momentum nearing the end soon. He runs and hits everything he's got in his arsenal. Edge then enters the ring while the ref begs for him to get out he taps Roode on the back. Roode Turns around and yells at him to get out of the ring. Edge doesn't listen. While Roode is distracted by his OWN pro Sterling hits his MK ULTRA piledriver and goes for the pin.

After the match Edge leaves the ring starting to head to the back. Meanwhile Miz and Sterling James Keenan enter with malicious intent of destroying Roode, and start pounding on him. Edge turns around and sprints to the ring. He starts by cleaning house and takes James out of the ring throwing him as he hits the barrier hard and goes down. Roode gets up slowly Miz doesn't notice Edge as he turns he moves back scared. Roode gets up holding his head extending his hand to his pro for saving him Edge then Nails and Edge-cu-tion then Roode is pain and rolls out of the ring. Miz then tries to take out Edge with a skull-crushing finale! But Edge counters and goes off the rope and HITS A SPEAR SPEAR SPEAR!!!! His theme hits as we end the first edition of NXT with a bang Edge calls out to Miz while he's on the ground and he leaves putting a fake belt around his waist pose saying he'll be the next WWE champion as the show goes off air with Edges theme playing in the back.
