- PWInsider.com is reporting that following this week's WWE Smackdown taping at the Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, company officials sat down with Luis Ignascio Urive Alvirde, aka Mistico, who originally played Sin Cara, and decided to send him home.
It was then decided that going forward, Jorge Aria, aka Hunico in FCW, will now exclusively play the Sin Cara character. While it is unknown at this time exactly why WWE decided to send home Alvirde, and it's also unknown whether or not he will be released from the company, it is worth noting that WWE had to re-shoot Alvirde's match against Heath Slater at the SD! tapings due to several botched spots during the bout. Thoughts?

| I've heard several different stories on this one.
That Mistico wrestled the first match, was sent home, Hunico did the second.
And that Mistico was sent home initially and Hunico did both.

Thoughts? That really sucks. He had a lot of potential and deserves to be wresting in such a big spotlight. Hopefully we will see him return in a few years, maybe as the his original Mistico character -- by then his ringwork will have improved.
