RIP Larry Sweeney

We reported earlier today that former ROH manager Alex "Larry Sweeney" Whybrow is dead at the age of 29.

Sweeney, widely considered one of the great modern managers, suffered from drug problems and depression. We've now learned that he committed suicide either last night or this morning. Sweeney's death is believed to have been from hanging himself. More on the story as it develops.

On behalf of everyone here on the website, I would like to express our condolences to the family, friends and fans of Mr. Sweeney.

Poor guy, I honestly liked him. One of the few remaining wrestling managers, gone.

That sucks man...another death in pro wrestling well before his time.

Hope he has a nice funeral, if I was the sensitive type I would send him flowers or something. Because all dead people need flowers
