ECCW: Extreme Created Championship Wrestling 17.0

Harry Jones arrives at the arena. He is trying to keep a low profile before he takes part in the biggest match of his ECCW arena, but he is suddenly approached by Todd Grisham. Harry tries to continue walking, yet Todd blocks Jones in his path...

Todd Grisham: "Harry ma' boy! Would you mind if we had a quick chat?"

[Somewhere inside, Harry begins to pitty Grisham]

Harry Jones: "Alright fine, but I've got to go stretch in about two minutes."

Todd Grisham: "Oh yeah, that's right! You are about to go one on one with Prince Awesome! The odds are definitely against you aren't they?"

Harry Jones: "How do you figure?"

Todd Grisham: "Well, Awesome has been with ECCW for so much longer than you have been here, an-..."

Harry Jones: "So what? I am a twenty-three time world champion! I have had twice the main event experience as this jerk off has! Ever since returning to ECCW, I have been on a winning streak! I am still undefeated and I plan to keep my winning streak in tact. I have never seen this 'Prince Awesome' character, but if he has been selected to compete in the Eight Man Tournament then I know for a fact that he will be a tough opponent."

Todd Grisham: "So you think that you can defeat him?"

Harry Jones: "I know I can beat him! Now Toddy, I've got a match to win...catch ya."

Harry pats Todd on the head and walks down the corridor to stretch out his legs.

What a night. What a last couple of days. Last Monday, Harry Jones found himself stealing the spotlight on Terror. A few nights later and he has been drafted to Crush! All the autographs he'd signed that morning, there'd only be more to come on Saturday. Harry and his wife Kelly had talked at that table all night as if there was no tomorrow, and the ideas were still flowing between the two of them. Harry knew he needed to relax, so he decided to turn the TV on and try to clear his mind. Starz was in the middle of airing "Mr. & Mrs. Smith". He figured that should serve as enough of an escape. It wasn't too incredibly dark to keep Harry awake, but not so mind numbingly stupid that he'd feel like a lesser man for watching it. It was just getting good. A now fully aware John and Jane Smith were engaged in a heated gun fight in their home. And while Harry had to make a mental note that he didn't condone violence against women, he had to admit the hand to hand combat was his favourite part. John came sailing out of a fiery blaze that had started in the kitchen. They punched and kicked and traded witty banter. It finally came to a head when John and Jane both reached for their respective weapons and pointed them at each other. There was a sudden pause in the action. And Brad Pitt managed his best look of guilt as he lowered his gun.

John Smith: I can't. I can't do it.

Angelina Jolie's face turned to that of a woman fighting back tears. She remained angry and shook the gun in his direction. The fact that John had lowered his gun proved his true love for her, and faced with that Jane might have to admit that she truly loved him too.

Jane Smith: Don't! Don't! Come on!

The sudden realization that they were actually in love with each other was too much for either of them to handle, and John delivered the final dialogue of the scene.

John Smith: You want it. It's yours.

Of course that starts kissing, and then stripping each other. Harry found himself watching it intently, and not just because Angelina Jolie was down to her skivvies. Harry certainly wasn't lacking in motivation. He was 29. He has a wife, a one year old son and he was one of the most popular ECCW superstars. Whatever that qualified as. He was completely unsatisfied with being drafted. After finally clawing his way up to the top of the ‘Terror food chain’, he would have to make a fresh start on Crush. Harry Jones picked up the TV remote and lobbed it across the room. It connected with the TV and made the screen crack. Harry sighed and got to his feet. He picked up his video camera and took a deep breath. He knew that he needed to…make an impression.

Harry Jones entered his personal room. On each wall there was a cabinet for all of the major championships he has won. For each belt has won more than once, there is a number next to it. Six EFNW Championships, three EFNW Extreme Heavyweight Championships, two CWW Revolution Heavyweight Championships, one TNW Championship, one IWA Championship; the list is long and unprecedented. Every wall in the room was completely covered in Championships. Harry paced over towards a small box in the middle of the room. He opened the box and inside there was a note which he had written a month ago when he made his shocking return to ECCW. It was his to do list, and there was two personal missions which he had for himself.

“Become Crush World Champion”
“Become Crush Legends Champion”
"Become Television Champion"

Harry had completely blanked this note out of his memory. A surge of anticipation rushed through his body. It was time.

[One Week Later...]

Harry Jones enters his private room for the first time all week, but on this rare occasion he has a visitor; the ECCW Television Championship! Harry removes the gold from his waist and places it on one of the very few available shelves. He glanced to his right and saw two shelves with no belts resting on them. He has come close to completing his mission. Blatantly staring at him on the opposite side of the room is Harry’s wife Kelly, who is recording his every movement on a video camera. In about one hour, this promotional video will be up on the ECCW.com website. Harry takes one last look at the Television Championship, before he clears his throat.

Harry Jones: “One night can create a legacy. It can defy our destiny! One night separates the weak from the strong. One night can make us immortal. One night can make us…a champion.”

Kelly maneuvers the camera to show each one of the four walls in the room, each wall being stacked with championships. Harry quizzically looks at the Television Championship.

“In one night...I became a legend! On my Crush debut, I was able to tick off one of my three objectives for the year. On this very special night, ECCW gave birth to a new Television Champion! But, I also advanced in the World Championship Tournament and I am still undefeated in ECCW…I fuck shit up! [Harry laughs], I have never been more focussed on winning in my life. I know I have what it takes to become the Crush World Champion and I will do whatever it takes to become the World Champion…Even though ECCW management doubts my abilities. As some of you may know, I have been booked to defend my Television Championship against Prince Awesome at No Holds Barred, so the people in the back obviously doubt that I will win the Tournament! But do you know what? Each one of them will bow down to the Extreme Angel when I turn the ECCW Universe on its head at No Holds Barred! I have no first priorities right now, except for one thing; ‘duh…winning’! If I happen to be double booked then so be it, I will win both matches with ease, because I will rise to the occasion! When the millions and millions of Harry Jones fans are shouting my name, urging me to get the three count against Prince Awesome, I will do just that! After I win the Tournament, I will go into No Holds Barred and give John Leopold the beating of his life! He will beg me for mercy, he will shout out uncle and he will put his pathetic lips on my butt because he knows that I can’t be stopped…BOOM! Harry Jones has left the arena!”

He turns around and walks towards the door. Jones grabs the Television Championship and puts it around his right shoulder on his way out the door.

Ring announcer: "Ladies and gentlemen please welcome, the Crush World Champion - The Lord of ECCW... John Leopold!"



The Crush World Champion comes out in a chorus of boos from the crowd.
John Leopold starts walking towards the ring with the World title belt hanging on his shoulder.
Leopold has a cocky smirk on his face as he gets to the steel steps and then into the ring.
Leopold takes the microphone from the ring announcer and gives him 10 bucks.
Leopold tells the ring announcer to bring him a chair. Leopold gets the chair and sits.
The crowd continues to boo.

"Alright...enough! You people can boo all you want, it ain't going to change anything! I am the Crush World Champion! Either if you like it, or not! Now those of you that said that I am a fluke and that I am not a deserving champion, I hope you all watched Whiplash! Because I did what I said I would do. I defeated Jarrett Calloway and Will Williams, there for I defeated each and every one of you! The punks that love Will, and the losers that believe in Jarrett. Now the board of directors has decided to give Me some time off to rest and prepare for My next title defense. Once again I get what I asked for. I wanted a number one contender who would be worthy enough to face Me for the title. Now the man who will challenge Me for My World title will be the man who will win the Crush tournament. Someone who will earn this opportunity. However...that doesn't change the fact that whomever that man will be I will retain My title at No Holds Barred. It might be Jarrett Calloway again...it might be the newcomer Neville Ryan! Still doesn't change anything. You know...I was really hoping that after the draft I would find some new and big competition. But all the superstars that came from Terror...they are not in My level. Neville Ryan; At Slam-Mania you successfully defended the Terror World title while I won the Crush World title. Still, I heard people talking how impressive you were! I really hope that you win the tournament so I can beat you at No Holds Barred. Harry Jones; You better focus on keeping your Television title and forget about facing Me for My Crush World title because you don't stand a chance pal. Cade Stafford, Christian Storm, Kevin Evans and Sean Shamrock; You are not even worthy of breathing the same air as I am. Now as far as it goes for the tournament....I will be watching what happens. And if there is one thing I can promise you is that Jarrett Calloway isn't going to win! Jarrett you will go to the back of the line just like Will. I'll see you next week Jarrett."

Leopold drops down the mic and his theme song hits.

Kevin Silver comes out in a big pop from the crowd.
Silver walks down to the ring and grabs a microphone.

"Thank you. Last week on Doom I finally pinned Mack Robinson and now I got one more shot at the Doom World title. You know...I can beat Mack again. I know it! So I made a decision...a very tough decision...Mack Robinson I am calling you out right now! Come out to this ring I have something to say that you really want to hear!"

[The theme music hits but not of the DOOM World Champion but instead of former DOOM World Champion, Dominic Johnson. He walks out to his theme music and thousands of boos as he pauses at the stage in his green superman hoody and his baggy pants. he stares at the fans through his shades before continuing to the ring. He grabs a microphone from the announcer and rolls into the ring and gets in Silver personal space.. Dominic shows no fear.]

You see I was the first champion and I could be the champion again before you could! Now you probably say something like "Why don't you then" So here is my answer! I DON'T NEED IT! Granger Engage already signed my contract to Terror! I am always one step above it.. You think I need this competition. HA! Yo man, I am the best DOOM has got to offer that is why i do not even try! I am the new wrestling god! Back in the day they said I would end up dead like my daddy but guess what now! All this boy needs is that black and gold! So Kevin in words advice.. quit trying and go above that wannabe Mack Robinson's head.
