Gimmick: Surge is a varyingly mysterious masked wrestler who is "crazy" to a point. However, the gimmick itself is based on being original, as Surge may be mentally unstable like many other failing wrestlers, Surge's promo ability and charisma allow the character to have substance and actually be believable as an intelligent, albeit somewhat unstable monster of a masked wrestler. This is, of course, why the fans love Surge, which explains why he's always so over, most likely no matter what. He's also known for being a very good wrestler, especially at working crowds and innovation in the ring.
An XCW original wrestler who's success started there. Was and continues to be heavily hyped by the Internet Wrestling Community as one-of, if not the best wrestler currently on the planet. Has returned to XCW as a loyal worker. Surge has revamped his look, also coming in with a female punk valet (and possible wrestler) he refers to as "Syn".
Known for his distinct wrestling style: stiff Puroreso mixed with some aspects of Lucha Libre; also a good technical wrestler and brawler. Also known for "playing dirty" in innovative ways.

Would go on to more success, rising in the ire of the fans and other wrestlers, promoters, etc. Group would expand, being lead by Surge, who gained much success, going from mid-card to main event and the 24/7 and Inferno Titles to the Xplosion World Title with which he had the most reigns, as well as holding the Tag Titles simulatenously. Group would separate, as Surge fueded with Johny Thunder, beating him on multiple occasions until XCW's closing. Surge won the Duality Brawl by surprise at XCW's last event after previously being beaten by Johnny Thunder in a Loser Leaves XCW match. Surge has kept the contract in case he ever has the chance to cash it in.
