| Well, I got to thinking last night as I was watching DGUSA; Fearless. The PPV where Davey Richards defeats Masaaki Mochizuki for the FIP Belt, that Davey Richards is very over-rated. I realize this may frustrate a few people as many see him as the man who can take Danielson's place as "Best in the World" on the indy scene, but it's true, his matches are over-rated. As I was watching I was like, let me guess, Mochizuki works over his leg, tick! Richards fights back, tick! He no sells the work which was previously done on his leg, tick! He suddenly remembers he should be selling and limps around a tiny bit as the commentators try to say he's moving like this because of the adrenaline, tick! He works over Mochizuki's arm, tick! Completely no sells the work done on his leg and does an insane, totaly unrealistic suicide dive which barely connects and leaves him lying in the crowd, tick!
And the reason I could predict all this was, because he does the same thing every time he wrestles a match. The way I see it is, he needs to save the suicide dives for maybe, once a month, so they are actually spectacular. I mean the first time I saw him do one I was all like, mega sweet, now it's like, meh, didn't he do the same thing last week? He needs to continue selling and needs to start mixing it up or he is going to become very boring, very quickly to a lot of people

But Cena isn't all that bad You can predict how every one of his matches go, though. - Carried through 3/4 of the match by his opponent - Bounces back from a near KO situation - Running shoulder (x2) - That sorry excuse of a suplex - Five Knuckle Shuffle - Attitude Adjustment - STF - Match won (75% of the time; 24% outside interference otherwise; 1% clean loss) |

No ... his match with Batista at SummerSlam wasn't all that bad, and neither was his one against Khali

For once Cena's match wasn't terrible, though it didn't steal the show, Khali and Triple H didn't do phenomenal but did better than what was expected to be a squash match one way or the other. And of course, Undertaker vs. Edge in the Cell was tremendous and definitely highlighted the show. Also the first WWE PPV build-up I witnessed, since I began watching in late July, early August of 2008. |

| Totally agree on Richards. His lack of selling and the "fighting spirit" bit is getting old. The match he had with Roderick Strong was good until the end when Richards completely wrecked it.
Davey Richards is what is wrong with Indie wrestling and Indie wrestling fans.

Davey Richards is what is wrong with Indie wrestling and Indie wrestling fans. It has wrecked a lot of good matches, which is very dissapointing, because he could be brilliant if he sold more.

| He's not the best wrestler ever, but he's certainly not as bad as you guys make him seem. | |

He's predictable and boring. He's like the SmackDown! vs. Raw games, he's fun for like the first month
