"The dust is starting to swirl. Creation is upon us. A raging storm brews and when it settles a new man, a new beast, a new ME will emerge. The Bloodhunter is rising. I've faced many trials and tribunals on this dark and gloomy path but finally, finally a light is beginning to ascend over this dreary passage. It began it's ascension on the last day of last year when I took the ECCW Pure Championship. When I took it from the hands of the very first mortal who tried to oppose me - Michael DeJesus. Sean Shamrock fell, Aaron Kennedy fell, Roger Studley, Venom, Krimson, Azazel and his brothers, Alex Nova, Daniel Evans, Jeffery O'Walker. All doubted me, all doubted the meteoric power I have stored inside me, all suffered. I've said it since my arrival - no man can take down a being of my inferior stature. No man WILL take me down. The hunt has only just begun, I've tasted the blood, tasted what I can be, tasted . . . what I will be. As I progress down my track, the road has divurged in two, one route leads to King of the Ring glory, the other, to the ECCW Heavyweight Championship. A rarity, yes, but there was once a wise mortal who said one road must be taken whilst the other must be left behind. A man cannot take two roads. I am NOT a man. I will take both. I will defeat Dan Maskell and win the ECCW Heavyweight Championship at Summer Smash. This is a guarantee. And with the championship in place on my waist will come another prized possession - a crown atop my head. Zayten, freak of the night, the champion and . . . your king."
OFF - I quite like how this one turned out ... thoughts?
off: I like it.

The usual green, blue, and white pyro display lights up the stage to open up Friday Night Crush. With the fans excited for the action to come, the now lively crowd exerts a mixed reaction as Richie's music hits. It's apparent that the GM of Crush will be opening the show and he has something on his mind.
Once in the ring, Richie reminisces back to the old days in ECCW. He talks about his role in helping get the company on its feet and how his position has changed a bit since then. He says that throughout his career he has been respected by the fans of ECCW and the backstage crew of superstars and workers. All of a sudden that is changing, he claims. He pins the blame on one person, being Dustin Shore, for bringing up the theme of Richie mismanaging the show. Richie asserts what he has been saying for weeks now, and that is that he is doing everything he can to keep the program under control and that it is no more chaotic than it was when he took over. Richie says that he is sick of the disrespect being shown to him due to these false accusations. As he begins to ramble on, Dustin Shore's music cuts him off, much to the crowd's delight. Shore reminds Richie that there has yet to be a Crush since he became GM in which some sort of brawl didn't occur. Shore repeats what he has been repeating in recent weeks, but soon is cut off by someone else; Stephen Jericho, the Executive Vice President of ECCW and the son of ECCW owner and CEO Matthew Jericho. This marks the first appearance by other management since Richie began his tenure as Crush GM. Jericho claims that the front office in ECCW is very well aware of the controversy surrounding the handling of Crush. He says that Matthew Jericho is very busy at the moment and could not come to Crush to inform everybody on his own so instead sent Stephen. The news is that Matthew Jericho was not happy with Richie's interference in the main event of Gold Rush and that he has heard Dustin Shore's concerns. As a result, Jericho says that he is making the main event of tonight's show a number one contender's match between Dustin Shore and Adam Jones to determine the opponent for Peter Linch at Summer Smash. There is to be no interference in the contendership match, nor the Summer Smash match, which will be held under a no disqualification stipulation. Shore is happy with the news and Richie seems to be fairly content that he got off so easy, as he begins to exit the ring. That is when Jericho tells him to hold up because there is one more thing. At Summer Smash, Matthew Jericho himself will be appearing to give Richie a job performance evaluation to determine his future as Crush GM. Richie hates the decision but understands that he cannot do anything about it, having to accept the news.

Kyle O'Rapely defeated Sean Shamrock by pinfall at the 8:02 mark. In his second ECCW match, Kyle O'Rapely had another impressive showing. Not only that, but he showed that he is capable of defeating Sean Shamrock, a superstar that other ECCW rookie Andre Styles was unable to do last week in his debut match. After the match, Styles came to the ring to try and get in a cheap shot on O'Rapely but was eventually tossed out of the ring, failing to capitalize on the opportunity.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
Backstage, an interviewer is standing by with Jarrett Calloway. The interviewer asks for Calloway's thoughts on his recent altercations with Ali Fernando and Omega, and why it is he thinks that Harry Jones has been a no show for several weeks now. He says that Fernando and Omega have always been tough competitors for him, though he believes himself to be better no matter how many times they claim to be the new face of ECCW. As for Jones, Calloway says that he has heard nothing from him and knows that it is unlike Jones to go absent as he has lately. He has no answer.
Ricky Lackett defeated Riff Radley by pinfall at the 5:45 mark. With a recently returned fan favorite in Ricky Lackett squaring off against a hated Riff Radley, it's clear whose side the audience was on. In a short yet exciting match, Lackett got the win, giving the fans what they wanted to see.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
A hype video package airs for the biggest blockbuster of the summer, the second biggest ECCW event of the year, Summer Smash.
The cameras pan to a backstage hallway where Adam Jones is shown bragging to Rhys Hawkens, a Terror superstar who seems to be a mainstay backstage on Crush, as this is his second appearance on the show. Jones says he is proud that he is getting another chance at Dustin Shore and that he won't be letting anyone down when he wins tonight's main event. Hawkens seems unbiased, giving Jones some support, but sharing a concern of his own; being overlooked. Jones says he wishes Hawkens the best, but says that the spotlight belongs to none other than Adam Jones for the time being, so back off. He then trash talks Shore, who appears behind Jones. Initially, it looks like Jones may give in to Shore but he stands his ground and talks trash to Shore's face. Shore simply shrugs it off by telling Jones to shut his mouth and let his actions in the ring do the talking later on.
Will Williams defeated Jeffrey O'Walker by pinfall at the 12:36 mark in a King of the Ring tournament match. In the first King of the Ring tournament match on Crush in 2012, a lot of back and forth action took place. Will Williams was the one that the crowd was behind, hoping that Williams can repeat his actions from two years ago when he was crowned King of the Ring in 2010. Although Jarrett Calloway was the original King of the Ring that year, Williams now has another chance to actually win the tournament in itself. Considering his decisive victory over Jeffrey O'Walker, that chance remains.

A recap from this Monday's episode of Terror airs.
Ali Fernando versus Omega ended in a no contest at the 11:17 mark. A match with perhaps the most intriguing opponents of all; two heavily hated yet dominant Crush athletes in Ali Fernando and Omega going at it. As expected, the match was back and forth throughout. Both Fernando and Omega seemed to be growing increasingly upset with one another as the match progressed. Towards the end, both Fernando and Omega left the ring and each grabbed ahold of steel chairs. Both then got back into the ring and went wild, each hitting one another with the chairs and ending the match in a double disqualification for a no contest. The craziness didn't end at the bell however, as the the two men kept going at it with the chairs until Fernando managed to get a slight edge and kick Omega out of the ring.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
Jarrett Calloway defeated Venom by disqualification at the 10:50 mark. Venom has upped his game as of late, showing a more fierce and aggressive side. His domination spilled over to Crush for this King of the Ring tournament match, in which he really took the fight to Jarrett Calloway. While there were times when it looked like Calloway may pull off the upset, Venom's continuous dominance made the crowd wonder if Calloway was up for the challenge. At just shy of eleven minutes into the match, Venom got disqualified when he refused to let up on a choke he had applied to Calloway. After the match, he beat up on Calloway a bit more, sending a clear message. Calloway will advance in the tourney, but Venom is a force to be reckoned with, now more than ever.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
The cameras take us backstage yet again, this time for an interview with the ECCW World Champion Peter Linch. It is announced by the interviewer that he will be facing the ECCW Legend's Champion Alex Nova in a champion versus champion match on next week's Crush. Asked for his thoughts, Linch outlines his reasoning as to why he finds himself to be superior to Nova. He says that he holds the most prestigious title out there, whereas Nova is the second rate champion of Crush. The interviewer then switches topics, asking Linch about the upcoming main event match between Dustin Shore and Adam Jones. Linch says that he couldn't care less who wins because he will beat either of them at Summer Smash, with or without help.
Dustin Shore defeated Adam Jones by pinfall at the 16:20 mark. It was an all around hard fought match from both superstars, but in the end, Adam Jones fell short of getting the job done and becoming the number one contender. With Dustin Shore now having a free pass to Summer Smash and its main event, what might the future have in store for Adam Jones and his Summer Smash dreams?
