The South Wales Evening Post reports that Welsh wrestler Steve Evans – who wrestles as Stevie Starr – has been offered a WWE developmental contract and will be moving to Florida, pending a medical approval.
I got this article from here.
Here he is in action:

I may as well make the thread positive since everyone suddenly hates the new guy...
I'll admit, he's not the greatest guy in the ring, but with time down in FCW and on NXT, he can improve, especially with Bill DeMott down there now. Stevie also has a certain charisma that people like about him, so I can only hope he does my country proud. Better than Mason and Rob have done/are doing anyway.

Only just seen this thread but I think it's farcical that he's got a developmental deal when there is so many better and more deserving guys over here. Not just in Wales, but Britain in general. Joel Redman, whose also been signed, is far more talented and has a brighter future ahead of him than Starr. There's also Iestyn Rees, whose miles ahead of Rob Terry and Mason Ryan in terms of charisma and ability. The Welsh have high hopes for him, we don't for Stevie Starr.

Well despite what every welsh person believes in the names you mentioned, I'm not going to randomly push away Stevie without giving him a chance like everyone else has been doing. I did the same for Rob & Mason and while they dissapoint us, maybe the same won't happen with Starr.

He can barely cut it over here, what makes you think he can be a success over there? I've seen him on a few occasions and he never stood out at all, which shouldn't be the case for someone supposedly talented enough to make it to the big time. I'm sorry, but Iestyn Rees is the man they should be looking at, not Starr.
And when I said "we", I was referring to fans who follow British Wrestling. I wasn't putting words in your mouth, just relaying what myself and the majority of other fans think.

No thats fair enough, if you've seen his work live and you along with other Brit fans feel the same, thats alright. I just dont approve of people who barely seen a match of someone just randomly saying 'Hate him/her', as they are with Stevie's case.
And while I haven't seen him live, I've seen recent matches of his online and I too agree in that he's still too green for any main time promotion right now. But I'll give him a chance since he's going to FCW, their 'development' territory. Now if he's still as bad as he is when/if he makes it onto the main roster then theres no excuse. But I'm gonna give him a chance and also wishes him luck, what with being from the same country as me and everything.
Also I've seen a bit of Lestyn and he would be a good pick up for someone in the future for sure...

I've looked up his matches, seen these ones and I'm going to have to agree, I don't like him.
His in ring abilities lack some things, and his gimmick and attire just make hating him more easier. Of course those things will change when he gets to NXT, but there's guys from FCW that can easily take him out and climb the ladder and make it into WWE faster and more efficiently than he will. Not a good pick imo, I'd have a more successful shot than him.
