NXT News: I guess its spoilers if you watch this crap

Regal was announced the GM of NXT tonight by Striker. Cant tell if good thing or bad thing.

Only if he comes out of the wings and wipes out Laurinitis and Long to become the Supreme General Manager of WWE.

Regal's a great character but I lost interest in NXT a long, long time ago. The concept has been completely lost. They've been on season five with three rookies left for what has had to have been just about a year now. It has become a second Superstars.

My guess is with him as GM they are gonna start bringing up guys from FCW so he can fill up his own brand, which if that happens I may be interested in watching again

Nothing decent came after season two anyway, they should've just introduced FCW as a Tuesday night program right then and there. My guess is that national FCW ratings would be higher than NXT ones. Maybe they'd be good enough (within reason) for Syfy to keep airing it on television rather than it having to go to .com.

The way I see it, they'll need all the shows they can. I'm not going to pay money to watch 24/7 Raw recaps.

NXT is no longer seasons, it's been a brand for a month or so now.

On topic though I don't see how this can be a bad thing, it may lead to Regal being in a more prominant GM role in the future, fingers crossed.

Not sure, all I know is that Matt Striker (I think) stated on Twitter when asked when this season of NXT was ending was that it was no longer a season format but a brand like Raw & SmackDown.

It's not crappy. I just see you being an indy fan boy and the fact that you actually want people to be smarks is worrying. Did you see Tyson Kidd versus Curt Hawkins last week? That was a very good match, you're just being negligent if you say otherwise. It's also proving a ground for some under-rated talents to get air-time and in my opinion they're thriving. Yes, it was originally a stupid concept but it's developed into something quite good and alternative than what the two main brands offer. William Regal is also all kinds of win. How about Johnny Curtis and the development of his character? What about Trent Barreta's sick matches? What about the hotness of Maxine and Kaitlyn? Too say that only "retards" watch it is extremely derogatory.

William Regal done a kick-ass as GM a few weeks ago and Regal is just a boss so I look forward to this development.

I don't mind NXT. I think that a lot of the angles are dumb, but the matches make up for this. I'd rather see guys like Barreta, Hawkins, Curtis, Regal and Slater wrestling on Raw or SmackDown, rather than watch guys like Khali and Chena ... but since Vince doesn't give two shits about actual talent, I don't mind watching them on NXT. If the show got hyped up a little by the WWE, then it could actually compete with SmackDown, considering the quality of the matches.

I just generally find a lot of the story-lines on NXT to be dull. Probably because they are under-promoted.

Totally agree Adam. NXT has been one of the true highlights in WWE and with Regal as GM. It will carry on to be awesome.
