WWE - The Cahill Era - Page 2 RAW-1
April 2nd

The show kicks off with a video re-capping WrestleMania 23 followed by the usual RAW Intro Video. When it ends we go to the ring where Mr McMahon is standing. JR and Lawler quickly talk over last night's event, remembering the high points. McMahon quickly gets down to business stating that the figures and finacial success for WM23 is not what it should have been. He says that the WWE needs change and has hired a new head booker. He then goes onto say that the viewer's choice aspect that was set up for tonight's show is down to that man. He said the man would create change and recapture the glory years. As he says this William Regal's music hits and himself and Dave Taylor head onto the ring. Regal says that, he's sure this new head booker appreciates good wrestling and it seems the fans do as well as himself and Taylor are the VIEWERS-CHOICE for the upcoming match against two 'high-flying ruffians'.

WWE - The Cahill Era - Page 2 ChampionshipMatch
Brian Kendrick & Paul London versus Blue Bloods
In a match that was a mesh of two different styles, Kendrick and London barely held onto their WWE Tag Team Championships. Paul London in particular found some trouble with big Dave Taylor who dominated him for large periods of the match. William Regal seemed to knock Brian Kendrick out cold with a knee to the head and was just unlucky to see Kendrick fly out of the ring due to the force of the move. Taylor came close numerous times but Paul London rolled the big man up for the win @9:34.

We hit the back where we see John Cena ... ARRIVING! Pop, for some reason?

We cut to somewhere backstage where Bobby Lashley is standing with his ECW World Heavyweight Championship. He says he's made this championship what it is today. MIXED REACTION! He says there is nobody that can defeat him, he proved that last night against the GREAT Umaga. Didn't he used to be a superhero or something? Lashley said he doesn't care who his opponent is because he is ... TOTAL DOMINATION!

WWE - The Cahill Era - Page 2 ChampionshipMatch
Bobby Lashley versus Test
The returning Test, the man who had unsuccessfully challenged for Bobby Lashley's ECW World Championship numerous times, finally put away The Dominator. The two power houses clashed titanically on the outside of the ring and with the match being contested under Extreme Rules things got ugly and bloody fairly quickly. Despite a crimson mask, Lashley looked set to retain his ECW World Championship following a lung-puncturing spear however Stevie Richards, Little Guido Maritato and Hardcore Holly surrounded the ring. On Holly's nod the three men immersed themselves in the match. Lashley downed Holly and Maritato with right hooks but Stevie Richards nailed Lashley with a Stevie Kick sending Bobby Lashley right into a pumphandle slam and giving Test his first taste of World gold @7:12.

Huh? How about that, eh Bobby? After the match Hardcore Holly goes at Lashley with a baseball bat and Test nails him with the championship drawing blood. Test dabs his fingers with Lashley's blood and smears it down his cheek, he then yells that he's - HARDCORE!

We cut backstage where we see Kenny Dykstra ... WALKING! Ric Flair stops him ... WALKING! Ric Flair goes onto say that he has a big opportunity out there tonight and to keep his eye on the prize. WOOOOOO!

WWE - The Cahill Era - Page 2 Match
Jeff Hardy versus Kenny Dykstra
Young Kenny Dykstra had a huge chance to make an impression tonight in the number one contender's match. Despite a decent performance he largely failed to capitalize. He had a string of moves which included an elevated neckbreaker and a belly to belly suplex but it wasn't enough to dampen Jeff Hardy's Intercontintnal Championship hopes. Hardy recovered and nailed a Twist of Fate to put the young gun away @4:21.

We cut to the locker-room of Rated-RKO. The two men are bickering. They have equal votes in the viewers choice apparantly. They seem to settle the squabble with Rock, Paper, Scissors. (Edge winning). Then in comes ... CHARLIE HASS! Errr ... Anyways Hass speaks a lot of sense regarding Michaels and Cena's holding of the World Tag Team Championships saying that it won't last long and when it finishes himself and Shelton will be there to pick up the pieces. Edge for some reason gets ANGRY! and says that Orton can have the match tonight and makes a match for ... uhh Thursday Night Heat.

WWE - The Cahill Era - Page 2 ChampionshipMatch
Chavo Guerrero versus Jamie Noble
A hotly contested Cruiserweight Championship match that ended in quite an unusual draw. The match started at a slow pace with plenty of lock-ups between the champion and Noble but following a top-rope cross-body from Noble - business picked up. The two shared lightning quick exchanges and some awe-inspiring dives. The match fizzled down to bare-knuckle boxing causing the referee to disqualify both men @8:00.

Shawn Michaels has an in-ring promo. He rocks the crowd and gets them behind him for the main event tonight. Super Cena comes out and says that he wishes Michaels the best of luck and wants people to know that it's not his decision to make this HBK's last chance. The tag team champs then shake hands. Somebody was expected to turn here. AND THEY DIDN'T!

WWE - The Cahill Era - Page 2 Match
Candice verus Torrie Wilson
The two women were a bit shocked that they were wrestling for a chance at the Women's Championship and it showed. The two semi-decent wrestlers tried their best to put on a show. Torrie Wilson put Candice away with a Nose Job but she'll need to drastically improve if she wishes to trouble Melina @2:56.

King Booker cuts a hilarious backstage promo trying to act POSH! and CM Punk adds to the hilarity by saying funny shit.

WWE - The Cahill Era - Page 2 Match
Randy Orton versus King Booker versus CM Punk
Edge was at ringside for the Platinum Contract match and he made his presence felt. The makings of a good match were quite hampered when CM Punk taken out near the start after a botched suicide dive towards Edge who had stood on the ropes. King Booker and Randy Orton put on the type of classic you'd expect two ex-World champions to. It was fair to say Booker was on top but in fairness to Randy Orton, he managed to kick out of a Book End. Booker snapped after Edge distracted the referee and tossed Randy Orton to the outside. A recovered CM Punk - cheered on by the crowd - slided into the ring and nailed an unexpecting King Booker with a Go 2 Sleep. Edge once again got involved. He didn't escape punishment this time however as Punk nailed Edge with a fore-arm. However, Edge's purpose was served as Orton slithered in and nailed an RKO for the win @17:12.

The first Saturday Night Main Event is released;
UNDERCARD - Finlay versus William Regal
MAIN EVENT - Rob Van Dam versus The Undertaker

WWE - The Cahill Era - Page 2 MainEvent
WWE - The Cahill Era - Page 2 ChampionshipMatch
John Cena versus Shawn Michaels
The crowd were of rip-roaring approval as Shawn Michaels and John Cena would clash for the last time. In a match for the ages, Cena and Michaels went back and forth in the steel structure. The Showstopper pulled out all the stops - dropkicking the champ into the cage, an elbow drop from the top of the cage and he even rolled back fifteen years to nail a Teardrop Suplex. John Cena had his fair share of offense of course hitting a huge x and of course his patented Five-Knuckle Shuffle. HBK's resiliance showed true as he kicked out of numerous pinfall attempts as did Cena. HBK delievered a huge mental blow to Cena however as he kicked out following an FU. Moments later HBK would again kick out of John Cena's FU. The war waged on and in an iconic television moment, both men, perched pre-cautiously above the ring on top of the cage, traded blows. The crowd gasped and Jim Ross blew a gasket when John Cena FU'd Shawn Michaels from the top of the cage into the ring. John Cena pinned Shawn Michaels who shocked the wrestling world when he kicked out a nano-second before three. John Cena looked up in disbelief, first at the motionless Shawn Michaels and then at the referee. Cena uncharacteristically shoved the referee and shouted at him. Shawn Michaels stirred, a ripple in the crowd followed by an unbelievable pop as Shawn Michaels performed his trade-mark kip-up. Cena turned around and was nearly nailed with a Sweet Chin Music but he managed to duck under it. The two men stared at each other and the crowd started chanting 'You can't pin him!' at Cena. Shawn Michaels laughed a little and Cena responded by kicking Michaels in the crown jewels, as Michaels bend over Cena hoisted him up on his shoulders and landed a fourth FU. Michaels hit the canvas with thundering finality. Cena shook his head at Michaels and scaled the cage and climbed to victory @28:38.

The show ends with JR orgasming and the crowd throwing shit at Cena.

WWE - The Cahill Era - Page 2 ECW
April 3rd

The show starts with a clip of Test winning the ECW World Heavyweight Championship on RAW last night before fading into the ECW intro video. The show starts with the champ in the ring alongside his assisters Little Guido Maritato, Hardcore Holly and Stevie Richards. Test says he cheated to win and he'll admit to that BUT that he NEEDED the championship. He said with the New Breed and ECW Originals running around like schoolboy bitches and Bobby Lashley more pre-occupied with superstars from RAW that ECW was missing a real champion - in fact ECW was missing the E. He said his group are The Hardcore Mob and they're going to help rectify this great company from the obscurity of which it has grown under Mr McMahon. Test finished by saying that to do this they needed power and that the ECW World Heavyweight Championship was a great start but not enough. The crowd cheered loudly. Snitsky's music hit and he siad he wished to join the movement. This was opposed by the crowd but Test said if he could beat Stevie Richards it'd be a done deal.

WWE - The Cahill Era - Page 2 Match
Stevie Richards versus Snitsky
The Hardcore Mob seemed to be right in their assesment of Snitsky as he failed to capitalize on an opportunity to join the group. Despite starting strong, Snitsky found himself on the wrong end of hardcore when the ECW original brought a kendo stick into play. Following several shots to the sternum and one that snapped the stick over the head of Snitsky, Stevie Richards put Snitsky down for three with a Stevie Kick @7:12

We cut backstage to where we see Bobby Lashley ... ARRIVE!

Mike Knox has a backstage interview with Trinity. He says that while all the little 'factions' forming here in ECW bitch with each other and about being the true faces of ECW they're all wrong. He's going to be the true face ... by straight out hurting people.

WWE - The Cahill Era - Page 2 Match
Mike Knox versus Local Talent
Mike Knox didn't even toy around with the local talent, mauling him with strikes before quickly a Knox Out to get the win @0:56

We cut backstage to see Tommy Dreamer on the ... PHONE!

Cut to the New Breed lockerroom to see the members of the stable sitting around the General Manager Armando Estrada. He says that he appreciates they are all young and immensely talented but he wants all this aggro with the ECW Originals to stop. He says that those men gave the three letters of ECW meaning and that they're to be respected. The men all nod in agreement although it's clearly false ...

... as after a commercial break we cut to see Sabu laid out in a pool of blood in the car-park and we see somebody that looks very like Kevin Thorn vanish ... LIKE A VAMPIRE! Rob Van Dam hits the scene and tends to Sabu before ringing Dreamer and informing him ... UH-OH!

WWE - The Cahill Era - Page 2 Match
Balls Mahoney versus Marcus Cor Von
Balls Mahoney and Marcus Cor Von shared a relatively good match. Not wrestling-wise but outstraight brawling-wise. The two men clobbered each other with shots and it's fair to say that the ECW crowd were loving every bone-crunching moment of it. Marcus Cor Von looked set for the win following The Pounce but such was the brute strength of the move that it knocked Mahoney clean out of the ring. Seconds later Tommy Dreamer and Sandman hit the ring and took Marcus Cor Von out to give him the disqualification win @10:34

As soon as the match ends Elijah Burke and Matt Stryker sprint down to the ring and immediately a brawl ensues. Armando Estrada's music hits and the general manager makes a tag team match between the two teams ... FOR RIGHT NOW! IMPROMPTU MAIN EVENT FTW!

WWE - The Cahill Era - Page 2 MainEvent
Tommy Dreamer & Sandman versus Elijah Burke & Matt Stryker
In an epic main event Dreamer and Sandman came out on top due to some unexpected assistance. Stryker and Sandman started it out and it was a nice mesh of style pitting Stryker's clean cut classical wrestling ability against the infamous unorthodox style of Sandman. As always when Sandman's not in a match involving weapons he got knackered and Dreamer entered the fray. Despite a strong performance, Burke and Stryker managed to corner him off using dirty tactics. When Sandman tried to bring this to the referee's attention Stryker low-blowed Dreamer and was about to win when TERRY FUNKS music hit!!! The ECW legend began making his way down to the ring and Stryker and Burke wanted none of it exiting through the crowd and getting counted out @15:56

As the match ends Dreamer and Sandman re-concile with Terry Funk to a loud pop from the crowd. They are holding each others arms aloft when Test's music hits and the ECW World Champ walks out and ... STARES THEM DOWN! In a symbolic (maybe?) gesture he raises the belt in the air. He turns around to leave but GETS SPEARED ONTO THE STEEL RAMP! BY BOBBY LASHLEY! The show ends with Lashley staring at the championship.

WWE - The Cahill Era - Page 2 Heat11
April 5th

The show kicks off with the Heat Theme Song before cutting to a pre-recorded promo of Charlie Hass and Shelton Benjamin training in a gym. As Hass pumps weight he rips into Edge and says that Rated-RKO will be shocked by The World's Greatest Tag Team and that Edge is in for one hell of a contest tonight.

WWE - The Cahill Era - Page 2 Match
Shannon Moore versus Jimmy Wang Yang
In a spectacular match on Heat, The Prince of Punk got the victory over The Continental Cowboy. In what was a brilliant showcase of the cruiserweight division, the two men exchanged holds, reversals, dropkicks, chops and top-rope manouevers. Both men will have put themselves in contention for a spot on SmackDown this week with their performance but Shannon Moore took the spoils following a Moore-gasm @10:01

We see a recap video of Randy Orton winning the Platinum Contract at the RAW Viewer's Choice.

Val Venis is seen wishing an unseen person luck and winking before leaving. As he leaves and shuts the door we see a bra and panty clad Torrie Wilson enter the scene before shutting her locker door.

WWE - The Cahill Era - Page 2 Match
Torrie Wilson versus Maryse
The number one contender for the Women's championship recorded a hard fought win over Maryse. Maryse had a heavy percentage of the offense but Wilson caught the French Diva off guard with a Nose-Job @4:57

We cut backstage where we see Edge ... ARRIVE!

Snitsky cuts a promo in the ring saying that he was embarrased by Stevie Richards on ECW this past Tuesday Night and that he was making an ... OPEN CHALLENGE! To anyone in the back.

WWE - The Cahill Era - Page 2 Match
Viscera versus Snitsky
Viscera overcame an off the ball Snitsky who has now suffered two defeats in a row. Viscera dominated for large periods of the match with Snitsky barely getting a look in. Snitsky rarely threatened and it was no surprise that after a Viscera powerslam all it took to finish Snitsky off was a running splash @6:43

We see Rated-RKO ... WALKING!

WWE - The Cahill Era - Page 2 MainEvent
Edge versus Charlie Hass
As expected Edge overcame the challenge of Charlie Hass in the main event, however Hass gave Rated-RKO soemthing to think about. At one stage Hass even had Edge in the excruciating Hass of Pain and if it wasn't for Randy Orton distracting the referee, Hass could have taken a major scalp. Edge survived however and nailed a Spear for the win @14:39

The show ends with Edge sticking out his hand to shake. Charlie Hass accepts but it proves to be his downfall as Edge spins him around into a waiting Randy Orton who nails him with an RKO.
