WHC CM Punk arrives and sits down in the hallway.

Christian arrives and walks around.

*Wade Barrett arrives in the arena, coming off the back of another easy win last night on Superstars. He is going into Summerslam with great momentum*

*William Regal arrives at the arena, happy he and Drew won their match but pissed off that he had to get the pin and not Drew*

*Sheamus is in his locker room thinking about how he is going to destroy anyone who gets in his way on his quest for the WWE Championship*

*Paul Heyman, the Smackdown General Manager, is in his office frantically trying to put together a show for tomorrow*

{Luke Gallows and Joseph Mercury are outside the front of the arena, preaching to all the fans about being Straight Edge and how it's so much better}

{Finlay is seen walking around the building, swinging his shillelagh from side to side while feeling a little bit lonely without his son Hornswoggle being there for company}

WHC CM Punk arrives to the arena and walks around, holding his title.

Christian arrives to the arena and sits down in his lr.

-The show opens with CM Punk in the ring, cutting a promo on Randy Orton. Orton interrupts his promo by coming to the ring, however he is attacked from behind by The Miz. Punk and The Miz double team on Orton, but then Jericho enters to make the same. Wade Barrett then charges down the ramp and into the ring but is RKO’d by Orton. Eventually, officials break up the mass brawl.

>>In a Money In The Bank qualifying match, The Brian Kendrick defeats Mr. Anderson and Alex Shane in a triple threat match at a time of 11:23. This was a fast paced match in which Kendrick showed that he meant business. After Mr. Anderson hit the mic check on Shane, Kendrick came from out of nowhere to hit the sliced bread #2 on Anderson for the pin.

-Backstage, William Regal is giving a pep talk to Drew McIntyre. He then slips him something which the camera can’t see. After they walk away, Kane enters. It appears that he had watched their whole conversation. Kane has a sick smile on his face.

>>During the Kane vs. Drew McIntyre match, the referee is knocked down. At this point, both Kane and McIntyre pull out brass knuckles. They both hit each other at the same time, knocking each other to the floor in the process. At this point, William Regal, who had promised to stay away, runs down the ramp and places McIntyre on top of Kane. He then wakes the ref up and counts 1,2,3. Drew gets the win at a time of 9:58.

-Backstage, Brian Kendrick bumps into Triple H and starts bragging about his win. Triple H argues back but he is owned by Kendrick and made to look like a fool.

>>In another Money In The Bank qualifying match, John Morrison defeats Jeff Hardy and Tyson Kidd after 14:42. Jeff Hardy hit a Swanton on Kidd but when he was recovering Morrison came and hit a Starship Pain on Hardy for the pin.

-Kane bursts into Paul Heyman’s office and demands to be in the Money In The Bank match. Heyman says that he will be in a qualifying match next week.

>>The Rock defeats Ted DiBiase after 8:02. DiBiase looked promising early on but fell victim to a number of missed opportunities. The Rock hit the Rock Bottom followed by a People’s Elbow before going for the cover. 1,2,3.

-Backstage Drew McIntyre and William Regal are backstage. This time, Regal seems thrilled that Drew managed to beat Kane. The two’s conversation however is interrupted by Paul Heyman who says at Money In The Bank, they will be in a match for the vacant Tag Team Championships. He says they will face a team from Raw.

-Chris Jericho enters the ring and talks about his match against Wade Barrett at Summerslam. He calls out Wade who duly accepts. The two trade comments about each other before Barrett offers a handshake. Jericho is reluctant but accepts. When they are shaking hands, Barrett lifts him up for a Wasteland. Barrett then stands over Jericho before leaving.

>>CM Punk is on commentary for the main event of Randy Orton vs. The Miz. After a great match, Punk leaves his commentary desk to distract the referee. The Miz gets a chair and tries to hit Orton with it, however he ducks and dropkicks the chair in Miz’s face. With the referee still distracted, Orton punts Miz before the ref turns around. He then pins Miz at a time of 15:43.

-The show closes with Orton celebrating on the top rope with Punk staring him down from the outside. With things hotting up on the way to Summerslam, be sure to tune in next week.
