All Main Event Fights 5 Rounds

Dana White has announced that, following UFC 133's Rashad Evans VS Phil Davis, the main event of every card will be a 5 round bout, wheteher it is for title or not. This incldes cards like TUF Finales, UFC Fight Nights, and UFC on Versus.

I personall have mixed feelings on this. While it will help clearly define the winners of some fights, and lead to more finished, it will also extend boring fights. Take Rampage's last 2 fights for example. I would have loved to see another 2 rounds with Machida becuase I belive Machida won that fight, and given 2 more rounds we would have got a more fair victory. But as for the Hammil fight, it was obvious that Rampage had the fight under control from Round 1, and it was pretty much a boring fight, and did not need 2 more rounds, becaue I seriosuly doubt that Hamill could have came back. 5rounds will also create scheduling problems. If a main event of a UFC Fight NIgt Card goes al 5 rounds, then thats 25 minutes of fighting. Not counting the entrances and commercials in between rounds, so the whole fight could potentally take up 40 minutes of air time.

Dana should set it up like this.

1. All Title Matches will be 5 rounds, no matter what.
2. All other main event matches will be 3 rounds, UNLESS!
3. If after 3 rounds, the judges decide that there is not a clear winner, the other 2 rounds go on. If not, then it ends at 3 rounds. Kinda like the TUF fights, but the round #'s are changed.

Yes. Or if the judges/Dana decide to keep the fight going.
