Harry emerges out from behind the curtain and begins to walk down the ramp. The fans give Jones a mixed reaction as he walks towards the ring, in a much focussed state of mind. Harry enters the ring and begins to converse.

Harry Jones: “Venom…if you have the incompetence to believe that you can defeat me…well, you’re wrong. Ever since returning to ECCW, I have been on a mission; a mission to become a champion! But just now I realise that even you somehow manage to defeat me, I will always be a champion! I don’t need a golden belt to parade the fact that I am a champion; hell, I don’t need twenty-five belts to bring respect to the fact that I am a champion! I have put myself through immense physical torture to get where I am today! I have walked down the long and dusty road and along the way I have broken a lot of bones and lost a lot of blood – but somehow, I am still the Terror World Champion! Venom, you can hit me over the head with a steel chair; you can slam me through a table; you could even toss me off the top of the cage – but I will never stay down! You are nothing but a minor stepping stone in my quest to take over ECCW! Once I defeat you, there will be nobody else with the guts to challenge me! Isn’t it ironic that ECCW’s last hope rests in the hands of a weird little man that can’t even spell his own name? The Age of Extreme is upon us, meaning that you have no chance whatsoever of beating me! I am a champion and you are just a scared little boy hiding behind a mask! You will never be better than me! You will never be as prestigious as me! You will never be as hardcore as me! You will never be as diverse as me! You will never have as much as heart as I am! Nobody will ever be me! There will never be another…Harry…Jones!”

Jones paces around the ring a little bit, before focussing back on his speech.

Harry Jones: “What builds a champion? Passion, heart, courage and strength are a bare minimum of the themes that I show when I am wrestling. I am called the Extreme Angel because I am the heart and spirit of ECCW! If it wasn’t for me, this promotion would be called Created Championship Wrestling. I am the new evolution and soon you people will all be bowing down to me! Venom, I hope you’re watching me right now, because when you see the intensity in my eyes, you might actually see how much trouble you’re in. I don’t care if you are one foot and two inches taller than me, nor do I care if you have the ECCW fans backing you up when we square off. The only thing I care about is being a champion, which is something you will never be. Even if you defeat me at Gold Rush, you will not be a true champion. You do not have the mentality or the passion to become a champion and you never will! You have to be born with the heart of a champion! Jake Lyndon, Jarrett Calloway, Cyrus Black and Surge are a few examples of people whom possess the heart of a champion. None of this people have as much talent as I do, but damn it, they still have heart. You are playing with the big boys now, Venom…so you’d better grow a sack and get some talent, or you will find yourself in a bad predicament. Venom, whilst you have been molesting little kids, I have strived to make myself the best that I can possibly be. Whether these people love me or hate me, everybody respects me! I am not immortal – one day, I will die. When I fly up to heaven, or wherever I go, I will look back on my career and realise that I have made an impact on professional wrestling…When I die, The Age of Extreme will live on! Jones takes a deep breathe, listening to the smarter wrestling fans cheer for him. He gives a quick smile, showing the pearly whites. Harry continues…

Harry Jones: “Venom, you are supposed to play the role of the good guy; the guy who puts an end to The Age of Extreme! How does it feel to know that I have lured these puppets in to my corner? Do you feel stabbed in the back, or heart broken? We should all just dress you up in a giant condom, because everybody here thinks you’re a dick! No but seriously, you are only alienating your fans and losing respect by doing what you’re doing. Drop the whole scary Japanese anime monster thing you’ve got going, and maybe start focussing on your wrestling, otherwise it will be a breeze to beat you at Gold Rush. Venom, I want you to come out here now and look into the eyes of a true champion. I want you to feel my passion, my heart and my love for the industry. So come out here now, Venom…and maybe…just maybe…you will realise that you are not championship material!”

Doom 5 – The Best Seat in the House

The sixth episode of Doom kicks off with Ryan Andrews in the ring. Andrews reveals that he is tonight’s pro. He says that tonight the rookies will compete in an “Over the Top Rope” challenge and the winner will face him one on one in the ring.
We see the current rookie ranking list as the rookies make their way to the ring.

Andrews is sitting at ringside looking on. Hennings is the first to be eliminated by John America. A few seconds later, Del Rosario eliminates John. Mikey and Lackett work together to eliminate Jeff Nowell. Evans eliminates Weston as Mikey and Lackett try to eliminate Santiago. Del Rosario eliminates Mikey Wreckingball, only to be then eliminated by Ricky Lackett. We are down to the two co-number one contenders for the Doom World title a week from Sunday. Mikey provides a distraction that almost gets Evans eliminated, but Evans is able to counter an attack from Lackett and toss him out of the ring!

Winner: “The Classic” Kevin Evans!
After the match, Ryan Andrews and Evans have a stare down.

A Monday night Terror recap airs.

Santiago Del Rosario def. Mikey Wreckingball via DQ, due to interference from Ricky Lackett. Lackett and Wreckingball double-teamed the luchador, until Jeff Nowell came out to make the save. Jason McDonald came out to restart the match as a tag team match.

Mikey Wreckingball & Ricky Lackett def. Jeff Nowell & Santiago Del Rosario when Lackett hit a low-blow on Nowell (while the ref was distracted by Mikey) followed by the Eye-Opener at 9:38!

A Wednesday night Crush recap airs.

Backstage, the Doom World Champion Coty Weston and his manager Dustin Shore are bothering Jason McDonald, telling him to put Weston in the match with Andrew instead of Evans. McDonald says that can’t happen but he promises that Coty would face next week’s pro who will be none other than Xerxes Xander Xorn.

The commentators run down the current Gold Rush match card focusing on the Doom World title match (Coty Weston vs Kevin Evans vs Ricky Lackett), the Crush World title match (John Leopold vs Will Williams) and of course the Terror World title match (Harry Jones vs Venom).

“The Classic” Kevin Evans def. Ryan Andrews via a roll-up at 14:06! After the match, Coty Weston and Dustin Shore attacked Evans. Andrews locked the “Best seat in the House” on Evans while Weston started laughing at Evans’ face.

SDR: I am out here today to make a statement and that is I am disgruntled with the fact that I seem to be in a slump as of late losing to the likes of John America, Ricky Lackett and Mikey Wreckingball and then I figured out what it was which was making me lose I was holding back a bit too nervous to reach and grab what I wanted which is why I am now going to show you people what I can really do by Jumping and aiming higher for my time in ECCW, you see as I have said before I may not be as charismatic as Ricky Lackett and I may not be as experienced as Kevin Evans but I am the fastest competitor on Doom and I will use that to my advantage.

SDR: you see my goal for the minute is to not only become Doom Champion but also to win Doom like all the other rookies are aspiring to do but it seems Ricky Lackett and Mikey Wreckingball have made it their goal to make sure I go with in the next few weeks well let me tell you something guys I will not be going and to make my mark in this competition I am challenging you Ricky Lackett to a match on the next Doom as a win over you the first Champion of this season should do wonders for how I am ranked in this competition and then Mikey Wreckingball just know I have not forgot about you and I will be getting my payback on you for all your sneak attacks soon.

Harry Jones: "No sour grapes or anything, but ECCW would most likely be filing for bankruptcy if I had not stood up for myself and voiced my opinion. The night that I told ECCW to ‘fuck itself’, all wrestling media began to focus on ECCW again; but more importantly, people began to focus on me again. Everybody in the back hated my guts, but I brought attention back into this drop dead boring company. A week later and I find myself as the Terror World Champion, because Randall Westbrooks believed in me. He gave me the opportunity to live out my dream and become the world champion, and I cashed in and made my ultimate dream become a reality. If I had not spoke my mind and stood up for my beliefs – which were being constantly put down by Matthew Jericho and his idiotic brother – well as I was saying, if I had just cruised along and let bygones be bygones, I would not be the Terror World Champion. I would still be on the Crush roster trying to prove to Matthew Jericho that I am the best wrestler in the world; and I am the best wrestler in the world.
