Yeah it was kinda sad that they can't come up with ANY original ideas anymore.

Well if we're going down this route;

WWE copied the 2-21-11 thing from WCW.

Nearly every idea done in wrestling has been done before. Theres a book I read somewhere that there is only 21 ideas in the WORLD. Basically every idea/storyline you can think of stems from one of these 21 ideas.

I find it deplorable that people pick on TNA for "copying" WWE when they themselves do it all the time.

In reality, Dixie Carter listens to the IWC TOO much. She wasn't so much as copying as parodying thinking it'd create an enormous buzz.

She has to stop worrying so much about a .1 jump up or down in ratings and WWE and start worrying about the 1.2 that are TNA's audience. Keep US happy. Go back to basics. The ratings will come if you do this. NO MORE SWERVES.

Most promoters believe in the 7 year rule...that being, if you copy something that was done 7 years ago, then the marks won't know that it was. TNA apparently believes that copying something from WWE allows them to bypass the 7 Year Rule, but whatever.

Dixie's biggest fault is that, for an owner of a wrestling company, I don't think she appreciates the fact that WRESTLING FANS WANT TO SEE WRESTLING. Dixie's got a great cache of outstanding wrestlers, but she's buying into the Hogan-Bischoff-Russo model of Crash TV and promo after promo after pointless promo. I don't need to see two TV segments back-to-back comprised of people talking...it's wasteful and disrespectful to the wrestlers themselves.
