Randy Orton reportedly unhappy and wants time off

According to Yahoo!, WWE superstar Randy Orton has been reportedly unhappy over his current run in the WWE over the recent weeks even though he has been headlining the main events.

It is believed that he has asked the management to give him some time off at the end of the year so that he can gather himself up.

At present, the roster in the WWE is pretty thin and since a few of their top roster members are unavailable at the moment, WWE are unable to grant Orton some time off. Daniel Bryan and Batista’s absence are mainly standing in The Viper’s way.

Orton has supposedly been convinced that his character will be given more importance on television but that probably won’t be satisfying enough for him.

WWE’s lack of star power has been the primary reason why they secured WWE World Heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar for some more dates. The Beast Incarnate’s signature was far from being cheap as he signed for two dozen appearances in the $5 million range.

Why are they blowing funds on Lesnar, and they should shut down the WWE Network already, it's killing em :/

Lesnar is the biggest thing in sports entertainment right now. Even casuals and non-fans are in awe and know about him. Getting rid of Lesnar is probably the last thing I'd do.

Don't rate Orton but he's being dragged down by shitty Roman Reigns.

Reigns is on the rise and is the future of the company. The Shield splitting is what the WWE needed to really bring the next generation into the rise. Reigns is a Future Champion. Orton is now past his prime, I'm not saying he's going to retire or anything, but it's time for Orton to turn into a Jericho and put guys over. It's time for him to move down the ladder a peg. 

Lesnar is big yes, but I wouldn't keep him for extra appearances and what not when they could be doing so much else.

Shitty Roman Reigns. 3 impact moves and a primal roar. Woefully bad on the microphone with a failure to express emotions or even to remotely not sound like a robot. Oh yeah Reigns is getting pushed like fuck but it doesn't mean that anyone that understands even the most basic fundamentals of professional wrestling, story-telling and in-ring psychology can't tell he's dismal in his current role of a bad-ass, main event babyface. He's been horribly exposed since his split from the Shield and it's extremely saddening as he was my favourite of the trio. It took the split to realise just how much Rollins and Ambrose covered him. Whilst on the topic of The Shield let's look at another example of Reigns abysmal push; hottest thing whether WWE wanted to admit it or not was Rollins v Ambrose. They were building perfectly to Rollins/Ambrose in a Cell and this is where Ambrose would go over clean and his slow-burn to the top with start picking up momentum just in time for Royal Rumble season adding another top face to the mix as a potential winner to go on and face Lesnar. Sure Ambrose isn't exactly face of the company material but he has all the tools needed to at least be the alternative face. The Ultimate Warrior to the Hulk Hogan, the Mankind to the Stone Cold, the Jeff Hardy/CM Punk to the John Cena. That's the very least the WWE should be looking to achieve with Ambrose. So how do WWE Creative fuck it up? Let's shove Reigns down people's throat even more by having him cleanly beat Rollins 6 days before they face off on WWE. Sure it'll make Ambrose's eventual feat of beating Rollins less impressive but at least it'll make Reigns look like a beast, eh? Reigns has been nothing short of immensely under-whelming and it's glaringly obvious.

Doing so much else then making a heap of money off Lesnar? If you don't think Lesnar as Champion is a good move entertainment-wise (which it really is) you at least have to admit the figures are pretty damn sweet. Sure he's being paid a ton but he's grossing a ton. Lesnar is a damn spectacle and his merch sells extremely well. Not to mention that with Bryan out there is nobody the casual fan is more interested in as champion. Although seeing as this conversation is stemming from an article being posted from Yahoo.com I have my reservations that people here know where to find the figures that matter.
