Anyone watching RAW?

Surprisingly the first half hour has held my attention.

The 6-man has me interested, good exchange between Cena/Punk and Henry is a beast as per.

I hope this Khali thing is only an angle for next week.

The only problem I foresee with the new Championship is that it has the Brahma Bull on the sides. If Rock loses the belt, will they keep a belt with his logo on someone else?

They may just replace the logo with the WWE logo, which I hope to God they do, but anything other than going back to the spinner belt will sit well with me.

If this were the actual belt, it'd be so much better but it's not. The only difference isn't the sideplates. If you look at the actual new belt, almost all of the centerpiece is gold where in this picture there is some black. I think the little bit of black in this picture looks a lot better.

In time it'll grow on me I'm sure, but I think the new belt is ugly.

I love the new Title, all the needs to go on it is the Brahma Bull logos. They were definetly not needed.

No, I think it's the lighting that's making it look darker than it really is. Look at this more lit version:

That could just as easily be the lighting as well.

Still looks like a black background to me.

I think there are three things making it look boring to me.

1. It's the same repetitive color throughout.
2. It's awkward looking and flat.
3. The shape makes it look almost square, therefore boring.

And Jon, I don't know about that. If you look at the sideplates in my picture, you can clearly tell the background is black, while the main plate does not look to match.

I still prefer it over the spinner belt.

I saw someone comment on it saying something to the effect of "I can't tell if it's the NXT Championship or a Hall of Fame ring."

I don't think it is. Look at early looks of the belt, before they did anything to it. It was gold. Looks like they painted it black

Read somewhere in there that the black is the leather. Something about belt makers not feeling comfortable with cuttin the logo out of the material and they had to use a 3D Printer or something.

I found it, top of page 2. It's the strap

After looking at the video of it again - still without that great a look - it almost appears like a shimmery black (as if it's golden black somehow?) so I have no idea.
