Introduction

I know. I fucking know. Group booking leagues never work. It's nearly a rule at this stage. But I can't help it, it's one of the few things I enjoy about forums, I need to keep going until one sticks. It's like some sort of weird disease I have. I just can't accept that the pretentious git 4reals and his moronic band of lick-arse, somehow-touted-as-good bookers can succeed in this and I can't. That's not too toot my own horn but, fuck, I'm a better booker than most of them and I'm not even the best booker here. I just can't see how these always fail. Lack of dedication or purely because the biggest waster on the site (me) runs half of the attempted leagues. But sure look, we've waiten the obligatory couple of months before some genious thinks he can make one last and tries again. And you know what they say; better the fool you know than the fool you don't.

How It Works

On the off-chance that some newbie (ha, as if) has joined the forums or a non-booker decided to have a look here I'll lay out the basic principle for what we're trying to achieve here. The wrestling world in North America has plummeted into the depths of despair. No major company is left and most of the independents have been wiped out. This has left a host of men and women with a brilliant skill -- the ability to wrestle -- and no outlet. There is still a huge demand for wrestling by the masses so a rich board of directors (decided at a later stage) put together an alliance of sorts. For the purposes of this booking league it's going to be called the Internet Booking League Alliance or the IBLA. They fund as many brands as they can and get them a two hour slot on television once a week and a three hour PPV slot once a month. Every wrestler in the world wants to sign to the secuirty of an IBLA funded contract and therefore once all brands are registered a draft is held to determine what brand gets what wrestlers. Other than the funding it is very unusual for the IBLA board of directors to be involved in the direction or product output of any of the brands. The brands are basically vying to be the best wrestling has to offer and in this alternate universe that simply means being the best IBLA brand. Simps, right?

The Brands

Ah, the brands, the lifeblood of the IBLA. If one brand fucks up (misses a show basically) a domino effect seems to start. Even though they are all against each other IBLA can only succeed and survive via competition. That means they have to pull together in their united efforts to keep churning out the best product. If Brand A and B put out a good show, brand C will be more inclined to, as will brand D and etc. etc. BUT if brand A puts out a half-arsed show and brand B misses a show, brand C and brand D will be all like "fuck that shit". So who controls the brands? YOU. How? Fill this out and sign up. Yes. Yes we can. And if you don't like Obama . . . up the KKK.
