New Initiatives

As you are all probably aware, I made a couple of promises of things I would do if I were to become Admin. Now that I have won the election and become Admin, I am going to stick to my word.

The first initiative which will come into effect immediately is the Discussion Group. This may not seem like a fancy name but we don't need a fancy name. This Discussion Group is made up of five members on this site whom I believe will join in and begin discussions and also keep everyone on this site updated with the latest news and rumours within the wrestling community. The five members of the Discussion Group are:

Myself (Karl)
Jarrett
Tom
Richie
Adam

Each of us will focus on one main subject but are obviously free to post on anything if we see it as relevant. Here is a brief outline to what each of us will focus on:

Myself (Karl) ~ WWE discussion and latest news/rumours in general.
Jarrett ~ Politics etc.
Tom ~ TNA, Indys, Classic etc.
Richie ~ MMA
Adam ~ Past events which many people know and are interested in.

I sincerely hope that everyone joins in with discussions now, especially with such a dedicated team of users who are getting these discussions going.

Now, on to the second initiative.

This may be news to many as I am pretty sure only myself and one other person knew of this initiative being brought in. This initiative is for a live discussion topic for live shows. This initiative will be brought into effect this coming Monday with Tom moderating it for the foreseeable future. This will be a topic which is posted every time a live show is on (we will most likely begin with RAW, Smackdown and PPVs before moving on to TNA as well).

I am doing this in a bid to get more discussion going between people when the shows are going on as I have seen many sites do it in the past and it has been a success. Of course, once the summer is over we will need to get someone from the US to moderate it as the time differences are a bitch.

I do hope people join in with discussions now that these changes have been put into place and keep your eyes peeled as there will be many other changes coming in the future to go with this new initiative.
