WWE RAW Results 2/25/13

WWE Monday Night RAW
Dallas, Texas
February 25, 2013
Commentators: Jerry Lawler & Michael Cole

Three's a Crowd

We get highlights from Brock Lesnar's assault on Randy Orton last week. Tonight, Brock Lesnar and his advocate Paul Heyman will address this attack.
Plus, The Undertaker will be here tonight to talk about his match against Goldberg at WrestleMania 29.

Also, WWE Champion John Cena and World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler will team up with Daniel Bryan in our main event as they take on the team of RyAxel and Alberto Del Rio.

The "Best in the World" CM Punk makes his way down to the ring to open the show. Massive crowd reaction for the "Second City Saint" by the Texas crowd. Punk says that WwrestleMania is on the horizon and the focus and the spotlight is centered on almost any other superstar but him. He says that people talk about the match that was "never supposed to happen", the Dream match between HBK Shawn Michaels and The Rock. He says that he would love nothing more than to compete against Shawn Michaels, who he idolized when he was just a fan of wrestling and he would like nothing more than to defeat the People's Champ because until you have beat the Best in the World, you are no Great One what so ever.

And then there is the Streak. The most prestigious Streak in all of entertainment as The Phenom, The Undertaker takes on WCW's finest, Bill Goldberg. Punk admits that he has never been in the ring with Goldberg but he wouldn't say no to an invitation. But then again he would be a fool to say no to the chance at being the 1 in 20-1. He says that he would give the Undertaker a run for his money and in the end he would break the Streak. But that spot is taken so...

Then we have the grandest main event in WrestleMania history. The WWE and World Heavyweight titles will be unified as a single WWE World Heavyweight Championship. He says that most people would expect him to be frustrated for not being in that main event but the truth is that he has no one to blame for this but himself. He was that close at winning the Royal Rumble but he couldn't get it done. And then he was once again very close to becoming WWE Champion at No Way Out but once again he couldn't get the job done. Punk says that he is a man and as a man he is not afraid to admit defeat...or failure. He says that on the bright side, Dolph Ziggler is in the main event of WrestleMania and the 2nd best in the world Daniel Bryan will become the first ever WWE World Heavyweight Champion! A "Yes" chant begins now.

Punk says that then there is Brock Lesnar who apparently wants to face Randy Orton at WrestleMania. He recalls his Deathmatch with Brock at the 25th Anniversary of SummerSlam and says that he wouldn't mind going for it one more time! He says that there is no way that he will sit in the sidelines and watch WrestleMania pass him by so instead of just talking about it, he is going to do something about it!

The Swiss Superman Antonio Cesaro comes out now. Cesaro says that the sad truth is, that nobody cares about CM Punk anymore, simply because he is not relevant anymore. He says that ever since he lost the WWE Championship and was destroyed by Brock Lesnar, he hasn't done anything to justify his claim to be "Best in the World". On the other hand, the Swiss Superman came to the WWE and in four months he made more impact than Punk could make in four years. He says that if anyone deserves to face either the Rock or Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania is him. And if anyone is capable of ending the Undertaker's Undefeated Streak at WrestleMania is him. And if anyone is able to beat the Beast Incarnate at WrestleMania...that's right, is him!

Punk says that he appreciates Cesaro coming out here...not. He says that he has seen guys like Cesaro come and gone and if his memory serves him correctly when they faced each other at the Royal Rumble, the Swiss Superman got his ass handed to him. Punk says that Cesaro is in the perfect place and in the perfect time if he wants to redeem himself for that loss. Punk drops the mic and holds his fists up. Cesaro says it on and a referee storms out to the ring. This will be our opening contest!

Commercial break

CM Punk vs. Antonio Cesaro

We come back from the break to see Punk trapped in a modified abdominal stretch. Punk quickly fights up and gets him in position for a GTS, but Cesaro slides off and escapes the ring. Punk then takes him down with a baseball slide. Punk goes outside and puts him back in the ring, but Cesaro rolls out again and drives Punk into the barricade. Cesaro throws him back into the ring for a two count. Cesaro then drops some elbows for another two count.

Cesaro hits a backbreaker followed by a double foot stomp to the chest for another nearfall. Cesaro rubs Punk’s face into the mat before talking a little trash. Punk comes back with a kick to the knee and some chops. Cesaro reverses a whip to the corner, but he runs into Punk’s boot. Punk springboards off the second rope with a cross-body, but he catches nothing but air as Cesaro moved. Cesaro then floor Punk with a big clothesline for a nearfall. Cesaro quickly follows up with a modified camel clutch, but Punk fights up and hits him with a back suplex.

After both men take some time to recover, they get to their feet and Punk ducks a clothesline from Cesaro before catching him with a jumping calf kick. Punk hits him with a clothesline before catching him with a swinging neckbreaker for a nearfall. Cesaro picks himself up in the corner, so Punk catches him with a high running knee followed by a short-arm clothesline. Punk goes to the top rope for his trademark diving elbow, but Kane's pyro goes off the ramp and the Devil's Favorite Demon comes out!

Punk is distracted now so Cesaro jumps to the top and connects with a belly to belly suplex off the top rope! Cesaro hooks the leg and Punk kicks out at 2,5! Cesaro cannot believe it. Cesaro punches away at him before going for the Neutralizer but Punk counters into a jack-knife pin for a nearfall. Kane gets in the ring and big boots Punk down causing the referee to call for the bell!

Spoiler:

Kane continues to assault Punk in the corner now before sending Punk into a European uppercut by Cesaro. Kane gets him up and goes for a Chokeslam but Big Show's music hits and the World's Largest Athlete rushes out to the ring. Big Show spears Kane down right away before getting attacked by Cesaro. Cesaro delivers a few European uppercuts and he goes for a springboard uppercut but Big Show knocks him out with the WMD! Kane then grabs Big Show by the neck but Punk kicks him in the back so Big Show drops Kane with a thunderous Chokeslam!

Big Show and CM Punk now stand tall in the ring looking at each other.

"Mr. Big Time" Aaron Stevens comes out now as he will have his return match for the Intercontinental title tonight.
The Intercontinental Champion Big E Langston comes out as we get still shots from their No Way Out encounter where Langston pinned Stevens to capture the gold.

Intercontinental Championship
Big E Langston(c) vs. "Mr. Big Time" Aaron Stevens

The bell rings, and they lock up. Langston punches Stevens in the ribs a couple of times but Stevens knees him in the midsection and punches away at him before chopping the chest. Langston then explodes with a clothesline. Langston shoves him to the corner and shoulders him there a few times. Langston then backs up and hits a running shoulder thrust. Langston punches him in the ribs before whipping him across the ring but then he runs into a boot. Stevens goes to the second rope, and he jumps into a shoulder block from Langston for a two count.

Stevens hangs on to the apron as Langston tries to pull him to the center of the ring. Stevens then kicks him in the knee before hitting a clothesline in the back of the head. Stevens stomps and punches him a few times before choking him with his foot. Stevens then slingshots over the top rope with an elbow to the sternum and he picks up a two count for that. Stevens does a cartwheel and taunts the crowd. Stevens then applies an arm bar, but Langston fights up so Stevens turns it to a face-lock, but Langston still powers out and hits him with a back body drop.

Langston hits a pair of clotheslines before ducking one from Stevens and hitting him with a belly-to-belly side suplex. Langston jumps over him twice before hitting a big splash. Stevens gets to his feet, and Langston tries to catch him with the Big Ending but Stevens uses his legs to tie himself up in the ropes, and he falls to the apron before snapping Langston off the top rope. Stevens goes up top and attempt a cross-body but Langston catches him in mid-air. Langston goes for the Big Ending but Stevens slides out and hits a Russian leg-sweep followed by an elbow drop for a nearfall.

Stevens stomps away at Big E in frustration before going for the Dismissal but Langston counters into a back suplex attempt. Stevens back-flips and lands on his feet before bouncing off the ropes but Langston floors him with a vicious clothesline. Langston pulls the straps down before hitting the Big Ending for the win!

Spoiler:

After the match, Langston is handed the Intercontinental title and he celebrates in the ring as we get highlights from the match leading to the finish.

Still to come:

- Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman address the Viper Randy Orton
- Cody Rhodes meets Mick Foley in the ring
- The Undertaker talks about his match against Bill Goldberg at WrestleMania

The WWE Tag Team Champions, Wade Barrett and Drew McIntyre, better known as The Ruthless Barrage, come out along with their manager, the legendary "Rowdy" Roddy Piper. They will be watching this next contest by the commentary table.

The Usos make their way down to the ring and they have an intense staredown with the Ruthless Barrage as we get footage from No Way Out where the Usos won via DQ and were brutally assaulted by the Ruthless Barrage afterwards.

Fandango comes out, dancing his way to the ring with Summer Rae. Conor O'Brian is out next and he will be forced to team with Fandango for this one as he still looks for a place in the sun.

The Usos vs. Fandango & Conor O'Brian

The bell rings and Fandango will start against Jimmy Uso. They lock up, and Fandango applies a hammerlock. Jimmy soon applies a side headlock, but Fandango soon gets one of his own applied. Jimmy whips him off, and Fandango shoulder blocks him down. Fandango hits the ropes, cartwheels over Jimmy, and dances. Jimmy hits an inverted atomic drop before punching him down.

Conor O'Brian is tagged in, he misses with a clothesline and runs into a Samoan Drop. Jey Uso is tagged in and he connects with a cross-body block off the top rope for a nearfall on O'Brian. Jey catches him with a savate kick to the gut followed by an uppercut to the jaw. Jey superkicks him in the face and then delivers the running butt-bump in the corner. Fandango runs in, but Jey sends him to the apron and Jimmy then superkicks him to the floor! Jimmy is tagged in, and he hits O'Brian with an Uso Splash for the win!

Spoiler:

Right after the bell rings, Barrett and McIntyre storm in the ring and they assault Jimmy Uso. Jey comes in to make things even but Piper comes from behind and cracks a coconut into the back of Jey's head!

Barrett and McIntyre slaughter Jimmy in the corner before getting out and holding Jimmy's arms around the bottom rope as he is seated in the corner. Piper then pulls up his kilt and does the Stinkface to Jimmy Uso! That's the signature move of the Usos' father Rikishi! Piper then starts taunting Rikishi's dance moves. Jey Uso is slowly up to his feet and he looks at Piper who drops down and begs him off. Barrett then rushes in and kills Jey with a Bull Hammer elbow to the temple! McIntyre then pulls Jimmy off the corner and drops him with the Future Shock DDT!

Piper raises the arms of Barrett and McIntyre as they hold up the tag team titles and the Ruthless Barrage stand tall over the fallen Usos.

Paul Heyman is in the ring when we return from the break. Heyman says, “Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Paul Heyman, and all day long they have been trying to get me to preview this video, but instead I decided to come out here live and watch this video along with every single one of you.” A video then airs that highlights last week's attack by Brock Lesnar on Randy Orton. After the conclusion of the video, the crowd is lightly booing. Heyman then introduces Brock Lesnar to the ring.

Brock Lesnar’s music hits, and the Beast Incarnate makes his way to the ring to a good reaction. Heyman says that a few months ago he and his client warned the WWE Universe that Brock Lesnar wouldn't watch WrestleMania 29 from his house in Minneapolis Minnesota but he would be facing a certain WWE superstar that Brock Lesnar feels that he needs to dismandle in front of the entire WWE Universe at the Grandest Stage of them All.

He gives us a history lesson and reminds us that last year Brock Lesnar returned to the WWE and targeted a man that talked trash about him via the social media, a man that disrespected Brock Lesnar, a man that needed to be taught a lesson. That man was CM Punk. He says that once, when everything was good in this world he loved CM Punk as a son. He helped CM Punk in his early days but in the end he couldn't stop - nor did he wanted to stop - Brock Lesnar from conquering CM Punk at the 25th Anniversary of SummerSlam.

And then, Brock Lesnar moved on to the man that didn't wanted him in the WWE, a man that knew that he would never make t to the top and stay there as long as Brock Lesnar was around, a man that transformed the WWE into his own personal playground in which Brock Lesnar was not welcomed. Brock Lesnar faced that man, who is none other than the Game Triple H, and destroyed him inside Hell in a Cell at Armageddon this past December.

So now why, why would Brock Lesnar decide to target the WWE's Apex Predator, the Viper Randy Orton? Well the answer isn't all that complicated. Heyman then presents a video that highlights the career of Randy Orton in the WWE.

(Ignore everything from 2:05 and after Razz)

After the video ends, Heyman says that this was very nice and it really sums up everything that Randy Orton is. However, thre is one thing that this video isn't showing and he feels like it's something that needs to be seen...

Heyman says that this was 2002. A little more than a decade ago, Randy Orton made his WWE debut right around the same time that Brock Lesnar made his own debut. The difference between them as you can see was that when Brock Lesnar came in as a rookie he was already an unstoppable beast that could not be taken down. A beast that destroyed Hulk Hogan, The Rock, the Big Show and even the Undertaker himself.

On the other hand, Randy Orton was nothing more than a kid trying to live up to the hype of being a third generation superstar. And now, ten years later people dare to compare Randy Orton's career to the legend of Brock Lesnar? They call him the most dangerous superstar in the WWE? Seriously? Just because he kicked some people in the head? Comparing the so called Apex Predator to the Beast Incanate doesn't only annoy Brock Lesnar, it serves as an insult and a show of disrespect towards the legacy of Brock Lesnar.

"Randy Orton...How dare you? How dare you sir to even think that you could ever compare yourself to the most dominant beast the WWE has ever seen?" Heyman says that Randy Orton is not the WWE's Apex Predator, Brock Lesnar is. Brock Lesnar is the Apex Predator, the Conqueror, the Beast and he issues a challenge to Randy Orton for a match at WrestleMania.

Unfortunately, Randy Orton is not here tonight to give an answer, however he better make sure that he is present in next week's Monday night Raw because for the first time in almost a decade, the Beast Brock Lesnar will compete in a match live on Raw! And Brock Lesnar will take on the man that was almost picked to be Brock's opponent at WrestleMania but eventually, he didn't make the cut. Next week on Monday night Raw, the Beast Brock Lesnar will take on the Celtic Warrior Sheamus! The crowd cheers loudly for that. Heyman says that he and his client will be waiting for Randy Orton's answer next week. He tells Orton that he can either accept and suffer...or refuse and hide!

Backstage we see John Cena and Daniel Bryan going face to face. We can't hear what they say and eventually they end up shaking hands and heading off their seperate paths. Dolph Ziggler appears from behind a crate smirking.

Kidd sends him back into the ring but suddenly, AJ Lee's music hits and the Divas Champion comes skipping out. AJ congratulates Natalya on her up coming wedding but Natalya refuses the hand shake. Hell's bells tolls and the last outlaw, The Undertaker, makes his way out to the stage.

"There's an old saying that goes, 'The more things change, the more they stay the same.' Bill Goldberg has convinced himself that he has the equation in how to eradicate the legacy of the Undertaker. He talks with confidence in how he will defeat me at WrestleMania and break the Streak. But this past Monday, I heard Bill Goldberg on Raw and that confidence is starting to fade into uncertainty and soon the uncertainty will turn into despair because as the days grow closer to the apocalypse, an Armageddon of mega-sized proportion, he will realize that the words 'die trying' were more prolific than he thinks. It is the words 'die trying' that will be his epitaph on his tombstone."

"Goldberg, on March 30, 2012 the night that you decided to interrupt me, your fate was decided. Your number was chosen. At WrestleMania, Bill, you will put all of your accolades, all of your success, all of your fame on the line to become a number, and that number is 21!"

The Undertaker leaves to the back as his haunting theme song plays.

Next week, live on Raw Stone Cold Steve Austin will meet HBK Shawn Michaels in the ring! Austin is set to serve as the special guest referee for the Dream match between HBK and The Rock as WrestleMania 29!

The US Champion Shelton Benjamin comes out for our next contest. It has been made official that Shelton will defend the US Championship against Jack Swagger in 5 weeks at WrestleMania.

Spoiler:

After the match, Ambrose celebrates his 2nd straight big win on Raw as Swagger is helped up by an official at ringside. Swagger walks off with the help of the crutch, unable to hide a smile as he succeeded in costing Shelton Benjamin the match.

Valiant Cody Rhodes comes out to the ring as we get highlights from his attack on Mick Foley a couple of weeks ago.

Rhodes says that WrestleMania is only a few weeks away and he is still NOT in the main event of WrestleMania and he still has no one else but Mick Foley to blame for that. Rhodes says that he was promised a meeting with the soon to be Hall of Famer tonight and he was looking forward to it for the past 6 days. Rhodes says that there is no reason to waste anymore time so let's get things started because we all know where this is headed.

Rhodes gets out of the ring and pulls a couple of kendo sticks from under the ring before tossing them inside along with some steel chairs and even a table! Rhodes calls out Mick Foley so they can end this.

Mick Foley appears on the titantron. Mick says that even though he would love nothing more than to be in Cody's party he is stuck in traffic here in the parking lot and he can't make it in time. He says that Cody shouldn't be disappointed however because Mick just called one of his best friends in the world and arranged for his friend to replace him tonight. He says that his friend, this dude, looks a lot like him so Cody will not even notice the difference!

"Awww Have Mercy!"

Dude Love comes out on the stage doing his trademark dance as the crowd goes wild! Dude Love says that the Mickster couldn't be here so he came back to represent him in this dance off. Rhodes says that this is enough. He says that everyone knows that Dude Love and Mick Foley are the same person. He says that he doesn't knw how or why he is doing this but nothing will save him from his punishment tonight!

Dude Love asks Cody if he believes that Mrs. Foley's baby boy is suffering from a double personality syndrome. He says that clearly, Cody is familiar with that issue judging by his experience.

The titantron then shows images of "Dashing" Cody Rhodes, "Disfigured" Cody Rhodes and "Valiant" Cody Rhodes.

Dude Love says that Cody shouldn't consider changing his name to DDV. He says that Cody's three faces of terror look a lot like this:

The titatron then shows images of Dude Love, Mankind and Cactus Jack.

Dude Love says that he and the boys have had so much fun over the years but the laughs they have when they watch Cody Rhodes trying to be the next Mick Foley are out of this world! He says that "Dashing" Cody Rhodes is nowhere as cool as the Chick Magnet is, "Disfigured" Cody Rhodes ain't even close enough to be as bizzare as Mankind and "Valiant" Cody Rhodes may like to play with chairs and kendo sticks but Cactus Jack made all of these toys in the first place!

Rhodes says that this is all a load of garbage much like Mick Foley's entire career! He says that whether its Dude Love, Cactus Jack or Mankind they are all pathetic and he would never want to be like any one of those has beens. He says that Mick Foley has no place in the Hall of Fame anyway! He says that Mick Foley being inducted to the Hall of Fame will be an insult to legends like his father, the American Dream Dusty Rhodes, who actually deserve to be there.

Dude Love says that wasn't nice. He says that talking like that for Mick infront of him ain't cool at all. But he is not a man of violence, his moto is "make piece, no war". However, there is this friend of he's that can't wait to get into that ring and tear Cody Rhodes apart right now.

The lights then go out for a little while and when they come back, Cody Rhodes is in the ring with Mankind! Mankind catches Rhodes with the dirty Mr. Socko! Rhodes gets a kendo stick and hits Mankind in the ribs to break free. Rhodes beats Mankind down with the kendo stick before setting up the table. Rhodes goes to suplex Mankind on the table but Mankind counters with a suplex of his own on top of a chair! Mankind then puts Rhodes on top of the table and he goes to the top rope but Rhodes gets off the table and rolls out of the ring. Rhodes crawls up the ramp as Mankind holds up the dirty sock and he points at him. Mankind celebrates in the ring to end the segment.

Friday night SmackDown 2/17/12

The show kicks off with the World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan adressing the audience regarding his World title defense at the Elimination Chamber. Bryan says that non of his opponents deserve to be a World Champion, especially Randy Orton and the Big Show. He talks about being Vegan and stuff. The Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes comes out stating that he will unify the Intercontinental and World Heavyweight titles after the Chamber. Wade Barrett comes out next to remind us about the Barrett Barrage and he vows to get his rightful place as the World Heavyweight Champion come Sunday. As the three superstars argue, the Great Khali comes out and instead of talking, he clears the ring off of Barrett and Rhodes. Bryan and Khali are left in the ring and Teddy Long comes out to book the tag team contest.

World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan & the Great Khali vs Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes & Wade Barrett

Bryan kicks things off with Barrett but he tags in Khali straight away. Bryan stays in the corner for the entire match, refusing to make the tag with Khali. Barrett looks for the Wasteland but Khali is too much. Khali with a chop to the head of Barrett and then to Cody. Khali nails the Punjabi Plunch on Wade for the pin-fall at 07:21.

Winners: Daniel Bryan & the Great Khali!

After the match, Bryan gets the World title belt and he comes off the top rope bashing Khali's head with the belt. Bryan then celebrates alone.

Backstage, Big Show is watching from the monitors. Matt Stryker approaches him to get an interview but Show walks off silent.

In Teddy Long's office, Teddy has yet another interesting meeting with Aksana until Drew McIntyre interrupts them. Drew asks Teddy to give him one last match tonight. Teddy says he had enough of Drew. If he losses this match he is automatically fired.

Tyson Kidd is in the ring as Jinder Mahal makes his way down the ramp. Heath Slater is out next and this looks to be a 6 man tag team match. Out comes Trent Barreta, Ezekiel Jackson and Justin Gabriel.

Tyson Kidd, Jinder Mahal & Heath Slater vs Trent Barreta, Ezekiel Jackson & Justin Gabriel.

With Tyson, Trent and Justin in the mix this is a fast pacing match up. Jackson collides with Mahal to slow down things. Slater is just there to bother people. The end sees Barreta coming off the ropes with a cross-body taking out Kidd and Mahal being thrown out by Jackson as Gabriel hits the 450 splash to pin Slater at 11:42.

Winners: Trent Barreta, Ezekiel Jackson & Justin Gabriel!

Backstage, Rosa Mendes complains to Teddy Long about Primo & Epico not having competition. Long says that next week a tag team tournament will begin with the winning team facing the tag team champions at WrestleMania 28. As far as tonight goes Teddy books the tag team champions to face the 2012 Royal Rumble winner Sheamus in a handicap match.

A Monday night Raw Recap airs highlighting the HBK/HHH segment.

Tamina comes out and Natalya is already in the ring as she will be facing Tamina. The Divas Champion Beth Phoenix is on commentary.

Natalya vs Tamina

Not much from Natalya tonight as Tamina looks to be in a great shape. Tamina hits the Samoan-Drop followed by the top rope splash for the pin at 03:12.

Winner: Tamina!

After the match, Beth attacks Tamina but it backfires as Tamina lays out Beth with a Samoan Drop.

Backstage, Matt Stryker tries to get an interview from Randy Orton but much like Big Show, Orton doesn't say a word.

Michael Cole informs us that next week Christian will return to the ring!

Ted Dibiase vs Hunico (with Camacho)

Camacho attacks Dibiase from behind before the match get started and along with Hunico they beat down Dibiase. Suddenly, the lights go out and Sin Cara comes out! The returning Sin Cara jumps in the ring and cleans house. Cara helps up Dibiase as Hunico and Camacho retreat to the back.

Backstage, Daniel Bryan confronts AJ and tells her that she has nothing to worry about. He will walk in the Elimination Chamber as World Champion and he will walk out still the World Champion. AJ tells him that she loves him and Bryan replies with: "I know". Creepy.

They run down the official Elimination Chamber match card.

Drew McIntyre comes out for his last chance match. Yoshi Tatsu is out next and he will be Drew's opponent.

Drew McIntyre vs Yoshi Tatsu

Good back and forth action. McIntyre receives a mixed crowd reaction. William Regal comes out and distracts Yoshi. Regal gets a kick to the head that knocks him off the apron but then Yoshi turns into a Future-Shock DDT that gives McIntyre the win at 06:37.

Winner: Drew McIntyre!

After the match, McIntyre celebrates in the ring and gets a big amount of cheers from the fans.

A WrestleMania 28 promo airs.

Cole informs us that WrestleMania 29 will take place in New Jersey on April 7, 2013.

Sheamus comes out to a good crowd reaction. The tag team champions Primo and Epico come out along with Rosa and she is amazing!

Sheamus vs Primo & Epico

Sheamus has the upper hand for most of the match and the tag champs make a few tag team come-backs. Sheamus tosses Epico out of the ring, Primo goes for the back-stabber, Sheamus holds into the ropes and connects with the Brogue Kick for the pin-fall at 04:27.

Winner: Sheamus!

Backstage, Dustin Rhodes (aka Goldust) wishes good luck to Cody for the Elimination Chamber match this Sunday, but Cody once again insults his big brother and he says that unlike him he doesn't need luck.

The Main Event is set.

Randy Orton vs the Big Show

They go at it for a while with Show over-powering Orton but Orton using speed to avoid Show's shots. At the match's climax Show goes for the WMD but Orton hits the RKO out of nowhere. Orton covers but Show kicks out. Orton goes for the punt but Show catches him with a Chokeslam for a very near fall. Barrett and Rhodes get in the ring and they attack Show and Orton.

The match ends in a no contest.

Orton and Show fight off Rhodes and Barrett. Orton nails the RKO on Barrett as Show hits a Chokeslam on Rhodes. Show hits the WMD on Orton leaving him out cold. Daniel Bryan comes into the stage and holds up the World title staring down the Big Show as the show goes off...

The planned number of matches for WrestleMania 28 are: 11.

There are also rumors for a Hell in a Cell match to take place at this year's WrestleMania.

However, John Cena vs The Rock will be the main event.

Plus, there will be a Money in the Bank Ladder match since the MITB PPV has been dropped.
