| I know this is not an original idea as it's been done on this site and on other sites, but appears that there isn't currently an active one here so I thought I'd do one. You can ask me any question about the world of pro wrestling, whether there's something you've always wanted to know or you're just looking for an opinion. Also, the questions could be about my "favourite" something, basically anything. I'll try and use my wrestling knowledge and thoughts to answer the questions and if there is something that I'm unsure about, then I'll look into it. I have a vast knowledge of WWF/E, TNA, WCW, ECW, the British scene and then also a decent chunk of knowledge on ROH, the rest of the Indy's and Japan. Whatever the question is, as long as its wrestling related, I'll have a go at answering them. So ask away.
Remember - If it's not about wrestling, your question will be ignored.

I did say wrestling questions only but seeing as your the first person, I'll answer it anyway. Now when you say "What's your favourite Sheep?", do you mean breed or individual sheep? If you mean breed, then I would have to go for the Balwen Welsh Mountain Sheep because you can't beat the black ones. And if you meant individual sheep, there's this one called Sam, I can't get enough of her!

- Top five favourite wrestlers (active)
Adding in the "active" part at the end completely changes the list from if it had been all time. After much consideration and deliberation, this is what I have come up with. My top five favourite active wrestlers, in no particular order: CM Punk - Pretty much will appear in everyone's current top five at the moment after his phenomenal promo and its follow up, what some thought would culminate at Money In The Bank but instead looks like it will continue after his recent return. I have always been a Punk fan, ever since his days in Ring of Honor where he had a series of brilliant matches against Samoa Joe. He's now the most popular wrestler on the planet, and I hope his championship reign will continue for a long time. Whether he is portraying a face or a heel, Straight Edge Society leader or "Best In The World", CM Punk will always be up there in my list of favourites. However, if this was an all time list, he wouldn't make the cut. Bryan Danielson - Similar to CM Punk, I have always been a huge fan of his, even since first seeing him in Ring Of Honor where he had a great few years. When I saw him on the first season of NXT as Daniel Bryan, I was hugely disappointed with the way WWE were portraying him. He was getting squashed every week. But when I witnessed the debut of Nexus, I thought my faith would be restored (but as well all know, he didn't last very wrong). When he was released by WWE, there was always a part of me that thought he would be re-signed, and he was. He shone upon his return at Summerslam 2010, and made an otherwise dismal pay per view bearable. His recent Money In The Bank victory shows WWE want to take him places, which is hopefully a good thing. Roderick Strong - A lot of people ask me why I like this guy so much, and honestly there is no real reason except I can't get enough of him. This guy knows how to put on a great match and doesn't look out of place in the ROH main event scene. Yes, his World Title run which spanned from mid 2010-March 2011 was considered by some to be a disappointment, despite some great victories over Tyler Black (whom he won the belt from) and Davey Richards. What some people don't realise is that Strong featured in TNA's first ever match on Spike TV where he lost to AJ Styles. This was actually where I first discovered Strong and have followed him ever since. I feel he was never given a decent shot during his short tenure in TNA, and deserves another crack at it. Kurt Angle - Ever since his WWE debut in late 1999, Kurt Angle has been one of the greatest performers in this business. Despite proving time and time again that he is a phenomenal wrestler and can have great matches with almost anyone, he is still ridiculed by certain wrestling fans, which is completely proposterous. It's easy to get behind him as a face and it's easy to hate him as a heel. He has the uncanny ability to play both roles to near perfection. Kurt recently announced that he is training for the London Olympics in 2012, looking to repeat the success he had in Atlanta back in 1996. I wish him the best of luck in his aim to do just that. Another interesting event in Kurt's life is that he very nearly signed for ECW in 1996, but left in disgust after witnessing Sandman being cucified in the ring. Who knows where his career would have took him, had he signed for Heyman's promotion. Wade Barrett - No, it's not just because he's a fellow Brit. Although, I remember watching him wrestle as Stu Sanders on the British scene and I was pleased for him when I heard he signed a developmental deal with WWE. Following his NXT success and debut as leader of the Nexus, his stock rised significantly in my eyes and the eyes of many others. I feel he should have won the WWE Championship at Survivor Series in order to cement him as a main event player, but unfortunately that never happened. He also fell short at Money In The Bank recently. I would love to see Barrett win a world title in WWE, hopefully sooner rather than later.

Well there's a good chance that Davey Richards will join Kings of Wrestling and Colt Cobana, I suggest you check out my blog on this site for more on that. As for the next one to three years, it's a very tough one to predict. After all, I never expected Jon Moxley to sign a developmental deal but he has. I always saw something in Jay Lethal to suggest that, with a little work, he may have what it takes. After all, his Lethal Consequences tag partner Xavier Woods is currently in FCW. TNA were stupid were not using Lethal properly and subsequently releasing him, he has tons of potential. WWE have taken a lot from Ring Of Honor these last few years, so there's always a possibility that current World Champ Eddie Edwards could sign, but that would more likely be later rather than sooner. Also, over in Japan, former IWGP Junoir Heavyweight Champion Prince Devitt has been getting rave reviews recently, although i'm not sure that he's what WWE are looking for. Strong Man seems like somebody that WWE would sign simply for Vince's obsession with his wrestlers having great physiques, that seems to come first over actual wrestling ability. Of course, I envisage all of these, should they sign, will first go to FCW so they can learn to work "the WWE way" before being promoted to the main roster. The wrestling world is a crazy place, so in reality, who knows what WWE will pluck from the Indies in the next three years. The company could have a change of direction and look for a different type of wrestler, or the wrestlers I mentioned could slump dramatically and fall away. At the end of the day, who knows? But these are my predictions.

Although it's still a bi yearly event on Raw, my favourite PPV which no longer exists has to be King Of The Ring. It's not been the same since it was cancelled as a PPV. The nostalgia of the tournament always excited me and was used as a breeding ground for new stars e.g. Triple H, Stone Cold, Brock Lesnar. Back when it was a PPV. Winnning three times on a PPV and subsequently being crowned King of the Ring was a great way to get someone over. These days, since it has used on Raw, it hasn't led to the development of anyone. 2010 winner Sheamus had already been a 2 time WWE Chmapionship winner and didn't gain anything from the King of the Ring except a dismal losing streak to begin 2011. William Regal, who won 2 years prior to that, had a temporary gain as it led to him being a heel general manager. But King of the Ring should be where new stars are born, something which almost always when it was a PPV (if you forget 1999 that is).

However, it seems to me that everytime he starts to make strides with his career an injury will set him back. This seems to always be the case and unless he can prevent his injuries from being so frequent, it would have to be Nathan Cruz. Despite not accomplishing as much as Spud on the British scene, Cruz is young and has some potential. Although, as it stands, I don't see him ever making it to the big time. But who knows, things could change. So, my answer is Nathan Cruz, but only because of Spud's never ending injuries.

Just had to have a quick look at them to remind me what was what. I think that 2007 was a fairly forgetful year for WWE to be honest. None of the big four were anything special and most failed to deliver. One PPV which I do remember to be good was Backlash. If not for the final two matches themselves where John Cena defeated Edge, Randy Orton and Shawn Michaels in a fatal four way match to retain the WWE Championship and The Undertaker and Batista contested a Last Man Standing match which went to a no contest. The rest of the card was semi decent. Another decent PPV in 2007 was the last of the year, Armogedden. Edge defeated Taker and Batista in a triple threat match to win the WHC thanks to Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins' interference and in the best match of the night, Jeff Hardy cleanly pinned Triple H in a number one contenders match. Even the rest of the card was quite good bar Finlay vs. The Great Khali. So yeah it would have to come down to either Armogedden or Backlash. I would probably have to say Armogedden because the overall card was stronger.

Nope, I'm not on WrestleZone. - He Looks Hispaninc to me! wrote:

Tough call but judging by his size and ability to portray a believable heel then I would say he stands a slim chance. I doubt he's what the Indy comapnies are looking for but if he were to try out for FCW then possibly. After all, its no secret that Vince is a fan of the big guys although I think Colossus would need to improve his physique a little. By the way, I saw him wrestle last month for only the second time and he certainly impressed me.
