Just read on wrestlezone that JoMo needs to get neck surgery and is going to be out for "several months"... bummer.

It has been announced on wwe.com that the injury is not as severe as was first thought. It has been said that it will only take Morrison 4 to 6 weeks to recover.

Is this just a work?

Actually it wasn't Truth who caused the injury. JoMo's neck has been hurting for a while and he landed awkwardly on it at Extreme Rules. Truth attacking him on RAW was a precautionary measure on the part of WWE to create a storyline in case neck surgery was needed, which it is.

He is. He's good in the ring, but his mic-skills, not so much. He was actually somewhat good as a heel, but sucks as face. They could bring him back, sure, but use him right. I'd look forward to Truth vs Morrison if both were pushed right and everything.
